Bunbun, how do you think Leona got his scar??
How Leona Got His Scar and Other Thoughts
So this is for sure something I’ve thought about a lot and how Leona’s Scar relates to him as a character. I get that it's very likely he was simply given a scar by Yana to mirror his Great Seven counterpart of Scar...but you guys know I love to create my own lore. I personally find the little information we do get on Leona’s scar interesting. In one of Leona's chats, Ruggie asks Leona where he got his Scar and notes that The King of Beasts also has a scar on his left eye.
Of course, Leona, being Leona, brushes off the question and says he doesn't remember, but logically, we know it would be silly for someone to forget how such a prominent injury was received. And as far as we know, he doesn't have any other scars besides this one.
So, he’s avoiding the truth. Either so the writers can be cheeky about it all, since Scar’s scar origins have had many recons. OR, if you wanna look deeper, maybe there is an implication that Leona prefers not to talk about it because the memory is upsetting. So, he brushes it off with a smirk.
Since I love angst, I prefer the latter. But, let's put a pin in that for a sec.
I think an interesting aspect to all this is that in the Magical Archives (I believe) it's mentioned that scars are something to be proud of in Sunset Savanna, which always kinda puzzled me.
We know that Twisted Wonderland has a skewed perception of the respective Disney villains, but it's still an interesting choice.
In the Lion King lore, a scar is essentially a bad omen. After Scar's death, two characters, Kion and Kovu, are condemned to others viewing them negatively. It's treated as a "Mark of Evil" in the Lion Guard show and even used as a symbol of Kion's deteriorating mental health. There is a symbol found on the ground that they refer to as a “Mark of Evil" where Scar's spirit manifested. TBH, even the treatment of Scar himself borders on ableism and the fact that people refer to him BY his disfigurement is kinda wild.

(Lion Guard wiki)
Since we kinda get conflicting lore from TLK and Twisted Wonderland on how scars are viewed...this really made me think about how it affects Leona.
I like to believe the view of scars is nuanced in the Sunset Savanna. Maybe now with the younger generations, there is a different attitude regarding scars and they no big deal. Maybe because of the King of Beasts more positive influence, they just are seen as a more "heroic" thing in general.
But, going back to Leona-
I think with what we know of his backstory a chunk of his people view him as this “bad omen” already due to his unique magic. And maybe after Leona received his “mark,” at some point as a child, some folks (maybe older ones) became even more apt to view him as a cursed prince. In Leona’s overblot flashback, we see how the servants in the palace fear and gossip about him.
Since we don't know the full truth of it, since the writers love to deprive us of Leona lore… My headcanon is this- When he and Falena were young, someone went to attack Falena and because the guard’s attention was so focused on the direct heir, Leona was hurt in the crossfire. Not only this, Leona has quite an adverse reaction to being attacked (perhaps for the first time physically as I also HC he was a weak child) However, he was still a child with a powerful Unique Magic, one he maybe couldn't control well at the time. So he attacks the attacker, who was maybe even just another child playing rough or perhaps just a rowdy peasant? Either way, this doesn't end well, he perhaps fatally injures the attacker and is punished for it. And so, begins the series complexes he has as the grumpy Lion we know now.
The desire for him to always be in control and be proficient at magic and magical defense.
His cynicism confirmed. Being reminded again of his place in life. Being only viewed as "a spare heir" compared to his brother. An unnecessary piece.
The disconnection he feels with his family and their disapproval of him and his actions.
Perhaps, this is why Leona is so good at defensive magic (like he mentions to Riddle who failed to collar him at first in Chapter 2.) Maybe this is why he chose to take up sports and self-defense, to protect himself from others despite preferring his intellect to fight. We know he at some point learns from Kifaji how to wrestle in the Catch the Tail Tournament. All this to say, I believe whatever happened is something traumatic for Leona and linked to his insecurities as a person. (Kinda like in many of Scar's backstories) I get into that a bit in this fic I wrote of Yuu comforting Leona. I just find it interesting to think about how the memory of receiving his Scar has affected him as he got older. While cocky and good at acting nonchalant, I do believe, deep down Leona feels uneasy about others' commenting about it or touching it.
Anyway, these are just my thoughts, as per usual! Thanks for asking I enjoyed yapping!

Ciel's eyesight probably makes him act a little silly

I'm not sure if Yana confirmed this, but the wiki says that Ciel has trouble with determining distance due to his now monocular vision. I saw a post about this recently and it reminded me of my own trouble with my monocular vision.
When I was 10 and head over heels for Black Butler, I got diagnosed with Amblyopia, which is basically lack of vision in one eye because the brain decided that the eye didn't need to be used, and that the dominant eye was good enough. Little me was so distraught about having to wear an eyepatch for treatment- until I put it on and pretended to be Ciel!
Thinking back on that reminded me of how my amblyopia made me do some clumsy things as a kid- like run into poles or fall of edges because I couldn't tell the distance.
Another fun thing amblyopia causes is a lazy eye and double vision (in cases where the eye has some functioning). It was not pleasant having both.
Ciel's contract eye has full vision still. He patches it so much that I'm sure his brain is ready to shut it off (after all, he' young enough for it to develop that way).
The thought of him taking off his patch just to have his eye be completely off to the side and making him see double is hilarious.
Just imagine him whipping off his eyepatch to give an order to Sebastian and his eye is just doing its own thing and there are now two Sebastians.
"Sebastian, this is an order!"
"Yes, my lord"
And all Ciel sees is this:

And Sebastian is probably seeing this:

His poor eye must be so tired.
He definitely gets humbled by stairs.

So I'm a sucker for the Black Butler official arts but my favorite cover has to be the GFantasy cover for Nov 2020
Pomegranate Feast poster was so hot???????? I love pomegranate feast so bad. I made this sebaciel amv/lyric video just cuz I loved it so much.
Official art where Sebastian dresses Ciel as food is peak. Thank you Yana Toboso for the meal 🙏

EATING HIM (figuratively)
Sebastian plating Ciel like a Moritsuke, tantalizing himself of the meal to come
ummfh Sebastian's fangs, the red reflecting off his hair, how vampirish he looks
Sebastian holding the knife and fork like that, a little playful 🤭
Ciels knee????? It looks like Yana really likes drawing his thigh up high like that 👀❓
Pomegranates in his hair, with the black spiderweb lace veil,, fruits and sausages hanging off his stomach reminscent of entrails
Sebastian rarely shows much emotion in these posters, just a pleased or smug smile, but in this cover, he's absolutely titillated. Love that sooooooo much, he's so excited about this, he's having fun, he's being silly
The symbolism of the pomegranate:

aLSO THE POMEGRANATES REMINDED ME OF THIS STUPID FUCKING ARGUMENT ON TUMBLR where people kept telling others to tag Pomegranates as g°re???????? People are annoying af, it's a FRUIT. It's not G0RE. (It vaguely reminds me of some antis and the fandom policing culture, although it's only proper to tag sebaciel for the comfort of everyone)
So I love Pomegranate Feast. It's so undeniably unapologetic of the erotic appeal of Sebaciel (which entails consuming someone you love)
The framing, the playfulness, you could really see Sebastian's value in both the beautiful and the morbid (and ofc the delectable)
#sebaciel#GUYS DID I COOK BE HONEST#gdi i spent too long on this#made an amv just for this post... i babygirled too close to the sun#nooo why isnt this showing up in the tags :((#help pls reblog this ghost post so people can see pomegranate feast thirsting 🙏#bb official art#kuroshitsuji#black butler#m'posts#amv#sebastian michaelis#ciel phantomhive

Okay okay. Need to make sure i’m getting this right.
So his whole thing is that hes a NERD who gets BULLIED. Hes obsessed with jack skellington because he frequents hot topic or something.
Anyways. He is like obsessed with his own perfect halloween? Or something? He wants everything to be quiet and dark (my hc is because it overstimulates him or something…but it’s probably something different because yana toboso hates me(i love projecting myself onto characters))
Idk why. But I feel like he’s so neurodivergent coded… so silly. I feel like he has like anxiety or autism or something… that goes in the headcanon book.
I can’t even imagine him being evil i just relate to him too much😭😭
My headcanon is that he loves halloween but he gets nervous on Halloween because it overstimulates him so he likes enjoying halloween in the dark alone… it’s probably not that though my guess for the actual canon answer is that it’s a misconception about Halloween and jack skellington stuff that he heard.
His whole “extermination of ghosts” thing is interesting? I feel like the NRC boys are a bit bias bc ghost are literally their STAFF. Tbh i wouldnt mind if those freaks were gone…
Also, I absolutely LOVE this silly hand gesture he does. It makes me so happy. He’s dumb, stupid, and full of idiot.
My only problem with him is just… why the name Skully? It’s just way too on the nose, like Rollo. I feel like Skully isnt his real name, and just a nickname. <- delusional
Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy halloween as i sit in a dark black room with a single lit pumpkin in the middle.

His Butler, Playing
Yapping under the cut
Hello all, I'm back with another obscure black butler piece. I love love love the theatrics of demonology and the funny ways we humans like to represent them in art and I LOOOOVE the art and aesthetics of 14th century Europe and my Pinterest is chock full of those weird illustrations you find in books of hours (medieval European prayer books). I found one in particular that I fell in love with.

She has an amazingly devious expression on her face. It feels like she's playing to distract from her monstrous lower half hidden under her skirt. She's grinning like she's tricked the audience, blind to her ~ true nature ~. It's such a playfully demonic drawing in essence and it felt so fitting for my favourite demon Sebastian, hiding amongst society in the 14th century and servicing humans with his distracting song as he hunts. I've been itching to draw 1) monsters 2) medieval style art 3) Sebastian as a classic goatish demon so marrying those together was so fun.
It is incredibly freeing to draw in this style because NOTHING is anatomically correct and there's no pressure for it to look "perfect". I don't have an established style myself so it's nice to be given a rule book that doesn't require too much accuracy of form because that would dampen the whimsy and aesthetic! No shade to the original illustrator of this piece, I hope they know I adore their artwork (they are long dead but still). The hardest bit was simulating the dirty textures of the crumby old paper and ink and I think I did a good job! He looks like he's embedded in the page rather than staged on top of it which I'm very happy with, especially for how sanitary digital art can look. Seb's "shadow goo" is so difficult, Yana has such a specific catalogue of shapes she uses to draw with that do not come naturally lol. Finally, Seb's lovely outfit is ripped from his silly shakespearean theatre costume in that one OVA episode where they perform Hamlet. That fucking episode is everything to me, as you can imagine. Sebastian is such an evil bastard in it, too...
Also I thought this over the top colouring looked cool 💀🤧

So, anything even slightly “positive” about Henrick is going to be a hot take, but here we go; I think Henrick had potential as a villain.
Don’t get me wrong, he’s cartoonishly greedy, and Yana went out of her way to make him ugly when compared to the rest of the cast, but in a way, both of those make him compelling when you combine them with his other flaws.
(By the way, Henrick isn’t twisted from anyone in Sleeping Beauty. He’s Radcliffe from Pocahontas. Just give him the purple hat and silly stache, have him sing "Savages" and "Mine, mine, mine," and call it a day.)
Starting over, Henrick is fat, lazy, arrogant, and has no charisma, strength, or any power outside of his royal title. Yet he managed to take over a major part of the nation and kill a powerful dragon princess with one talent: manipulation. Emotional manipulation, to be exact.
He used this talent to take advantage of the human's fear of the fae and invade the Valley to get the minerals he wanted. Most of all, he used it to control the KotD. And by using the knight, he controlled the army, killed Maleanor, got the "glow," and more.
I don't know if I'm wording it right or if I'm blathering my thoughts. Basically, I think it's interesting that Henrick—who is TWST's only ACTUAL villain—managed to do so much just by controlling one person and taking advantage of people's fear. He was the weakest antagonist in the series, but in the end he was the one that triumphed.
You just know this guy was propagandizing up the wazoo.

Henrick was the definition of a scumbag, but the guy not only used the fear of the nocturnal fae to rally an army, but that army included magicians from neighboring countries and even diurnal fae. Heck, I'd go so far as to say that you can't call him a coward even though that's something you'd expect of such a dispicable character. He had the confidence to actually lead the charge and his campaign to Castle Wildrose instead of staying back cozy in his kingdom or a distant camp. The guy really knew how to get people behind his (ultimately evil and misguided) cause. He was no slouch when it came to getting what he wanted and that's such an interesting thing to see in Twisted Wonderland. It's so funny to have an actual bad guy in your story about villains who aren't bad guys. He was a menace, but that's some surprisingly strong writing for a character who's just made to draw the ire of the fandom and take heat for his selfish greedy ways.
I would say that it's obvious that this is NOT an endorsement of Henrick or his deeds, but just in case we need to establish that: THIS TAKE AND DISCUSSION IS NOT AN ENDORSEMENT OF THIS ABSOLUTE JACKASS OF A CHARACTER! HE IS A BAAAAAAD MAN!
It's just a different kind of discussion. It kind of shows us what TWST can do when allowed to make a detestable, evil, villain we're not meant to have any sympathy for whatsoever. So, yeah, I appreciate this being mentioned.
Thank you for your take.

[REVIEW] Doctor Faustus by Christopher Marlowe
5/5 stars (★★★★★)
"Come, I think hell's a fable." (II.i.128)
Aside from surface-level knowledge of Faustian contracts and an admittedly fervid appreciation for Yana Toboso's Black Butler manga (:3), I didn't know a lot about the myth of Faust and the history behind its many retellings, -- nor have I read the Thomas Mann version(s) or the Goethe plays -- so I did a lot of preliminary research before I actually dove right into it. The 1604 play ended up being one of the funniest things I've ever read in a long time. For that reason, this review is extremely short, unserious, and mostly just me reviewing the Broadview second edition edited by Michael Keefer that I used as a copy.
Basically, I regret reading Doctor Faustus for the first time with Broadview because, while it was informative and incredibly detailed (I'm a little concerned for Keefer's scholastic sanity), I wish I just read the play on its own with few to little annotations and context. I liked reading about Christopher Marlowe in the introduction. I had zero idea that homeboy was a spy and got murdered for it at only 29 years of age. I wish we knew more about him, I would've loved to read more about what crazy shit he got into as a political dissident in Elizabethan England. That sounds so kickass.
The story of DF itself is really short (shorter than most Shakespeare plays). Keefer's annotations and footnotes took up 70% of the space on the pages, so I'd read about 20ish lines then spend the next 5-10 minutes reading over what he had to say about them in painstaking detail. I read every annotation! Broadview prides itself on being exhaustive for the sake of maximized education, which I commend, but I think I underestimated myself when I thought I needed this much context to "understand" this classic play. If you know the basics of Greek/Roman mythology, post-Lutheran Christian doctrine, and Elizabethan English society + playwrights in general, (so essentially what they teach you about Shakespeare in high school) I'd say you're solid and don't really need the Broadview text (unless you want to really get into it).
For me, I just wanted to read the play casually so I didn't pay too much attention to the footnotes and forced myself not to go too deep down the research rabbit hole. I unfortunately forgot an important rule with literature in that a text's reputation is never as solemnly serious as it ever is in popular culture, so don't let it "scare" you into thinking you don't know anything going into it. I'm not an Elizabethan scholar nor do I really like Early Modern English literature all that much, so I thought I needed to know more than what I already did. I was wrong! I could've read DF when I was just starting to get into classic lit in Grade 9 and I still would've enjoyed it as is. It's not this impregnable, impossible to fathom text. It's so silly!
I get that this play is a tragedy and everything, but it genuinely did make me laugh out loud a handful of times. I was a graduate student too and, while I don't have my PhD in divinity, I kinda get how Faustus ended up summoning the devil in his college dorm/study one day for the fuck of it. Like yeah, what the hell, sure. When the iconic Mephistopheles shows up, Faust basically tells him he looks too ugly for his eyes so he has to change into a more palatable form -- and Mephi does it! That was so funny. I ship Faustus and Mephi, I don't care. I don't wanna go into it too much, but just know I'm not alone in my delusion and have spent a significant amount of time going back and forth between reading what people had to say about #Faustupheles on the internet and actually reading the play. I had a grand old time, I'll have you know.
Anyway, I opted out of reading Appendix C and D because they seemed boring to me so I can't judge them or their merit here. Appendix A and B, I did read though. I really enjoyed Keefer's inclusion of excerpts from The Historie of the damnable life, and deserved death of Doctor John Faustus (1592) (or The English Faust Book AKA TEFB) edited by John Henry Jones in 1994. I read it immediately after finishing the main play and was delighted the second time around looking back on the plot (although there were some changes in the TEFB that didn't hit as well).

Random headcanons on the Weston boys
Okay since Weston anime is out, I’ll be sharing some headcanons I’ve collected during 10+ years of being obsessed with this saga and its characters.
I’ve been so invested into these headcanons that I consider them to be canon at this point. Anyway please don’t be mad if they don’t match your personal headcanon, it’s still my own interpretation and silly ideas about characters that don’t belong to me so anyone can disagree.
First I’m gonna write down the ones that involve more than one character, then I’ll be more specific and list them by character.
Brace yourselves for a pile of totally self-indulging blabbering.
Lawrence and Edgar are canonically childhood friends (Yana confirmed it), I like to think they grew up together thanks to their mothers being best friends with each other.
While Lawrence and Edgar already knew each other since birth, they met Herman and Gregory during their first year at Weston.
Because of the rivalry, friendship between students from different dorms has always been rather frowned upon, so the boys decided to put all their efforts in becoming the best students of their respective dorm to one day become Prefects and be free to meet and be friends without being judged by other students.
To freely chat and keep in contact prior to becoming P4, they secretly exchanged letters hidden among the library’s textbooks.
While we know Lawrence has 7 sisters, Edgar and Herman don’t have any sibling, while Gregory has an older brother. He’s doesn’t talk about him often as they’re not very close and don’t get along well.
Gregory met Cheslock while he was at his 3rd year (Cheslock is one year younger). They often spent their free time in their dorm’s common room, Cheslock would practice violin and Gregory would silently sit near him while drawing. One day he made a portrait of Cheslock and left it near him as a gift with the encouraging inscription “Keep playing”. The next day Cheslock asked him if he had any request for him on what to play, and that’s how they started talking to each other.
Headcanons by single character
Edgar:
His zodiacal sign is sagittarius
He has a sweet tooth and would live on sweet food alone
His maternal grandmother is french
His noble title comes from his mother, who is a Viscountess and older sister to Viscount of Druitt
He’s either pan or gay
Lawrence:
His zodiacal sign is capricorn
He’s ambidextrous (he usually writes with his right hand but is more comfortable doing other activities with his left one)
His sisters’ names are: Isabel (6 years older than him), Deborah (4 years older than him), Madelyn (2 years older than him), Adela (the only one to have a canonical name, 5 years younger than him), Rebecca (the one who has a crush on Edgar, 7 years younger than him), Rosalind and Amelia (identical twins, 9 years younger than him)
His father is a banker
Pretty sure he’s either ace or gay
Herman:
His zodiacal sign is libra (though I feel like aries might suit him better)
He took after his mother the most
He’s notoriously good at many sports, but he’s not very good at dancing (he’s not graceful enough for that kind of activity)
He’s good at cooking
He’s either a straight ally or a disaster bi
Gregory:
His zodiacal sign is cancer (mayhap also aquarius could suit him tho)
He used to wear charcoal and inks as make-up in his early years at Weston
His father is a politician
He’s kind of a picky eater and doesn’t like meat and seafood
He’s 100000% ace-spec
Cheslock:
His zodiacal sign is scorpio
His iconic “scar” is actually make-up, though beneath it he does have a smaller scar on his left eyelid, which is the result of a quarrel with his sister when they were kids
His father is a surgeon
His full name is Victor Theodore, which he hates
Pretty sure he’s bi
I might add more in the future, though I don’t have many headcanons for other characters but who knows.
Also I’m up for asks to chit chat about what I’ve shared, or for other headcanons o/

This is @satisfactoryanswer123 by the way, tumblr only lets you send asks through your main blog lol
I have with some asks for you:
1. what kind of music do you think Sebek would like and dislike?
2. What do you think his siblings are like?
3. Favorite TWST character who is NOT in Diasomnia?
4. Least favorite TWST character?
5. any other media you’ve recently been into?
Oh hello! I thought that was your main😭 💚
So many questions! Thank you💚
A "little" lengthy so putting under cut
1. Naturally, I would say something classical. It's canon that he wanted/still wants to learn to play the violin because Lord Malleus plays it. And since he must love listening to Malleus play, I would say some music with violins. Or strings, at least. Also, I imagine he loves those songs people sing during camping or work (you know... camaraderie songs? Simple but with a clear rhythm and encouraging lyrics!) And, of course, traditional Briar Valley folk songs!
2. About siblings... honestly, I am careful with headcanoning too much here. I want to get a little more official lore to base my headcanons on. But from what we know, I like that his sister calls him "Sebek-chan"/"Sebby"😭😭💚 A A silly idea I had, but I like to joke that Silver can marry Sebek's sister, and then they'll also become brothers officially lol. Also imagine how mad Sebek would be ("SISTER!! WITH A HUMAN??!! HOW COULD YOU!! AND NOT JUST A HUMAN BUT SILVER" - or something like that lol) And I need to know more about his brother who also attended NRC!!!!!!! In what dorm was he? What did he do for his 4th-year internship? What does he think about Crowley? Who was his dorm leader? What does he think of Malleus? I need answers! But I think they're very close and caring and spoil Sebek! Sebek mentioned that Zigvolts often spend time together, like going to parks etc. which is so sweet🥺
3. He's not even from NRC lol. Rollo! I am never recovering from GloMas, he bewitched me, for real 😶 I could talk forever about him, but it would be better to put all that in a separate post, maybe haha. And okay, if from NRC, it's Idia... his character simply has so much potential for beautiful symbolism and tragic theories. And I'm a Greek mythology nerd too, so 😁💙
4. I don't dislike anyone, just care less about some characters due to a lack of interest in certain tropes, character features, or dynamics. For me, it would be Vil. He's gorgeous, has a strong will, and has high standards, which I respect. But I have a strong detest for "celebrity" characters or topics, especially if it involves singing. That's why I am not interested in stuff like AlienStage or even HipMic (even though Sebek's va has a nice role there 😥) If Vil were, for example, from some rich family owning a beauty business, making cosmetics, or being a fashion designer, I'd probably be more okay with him. (For example, I do love Romeo Lucci from Tokyo Debunker - he also cares about his looks, but his family is a nod to the Gucci fashion house. This is quite fine for me) 5. I know it may look like I'm only interested in twst (in Sebek specifically 😅) which is partially true. As for other media I've been enjoying recently... Already mentioned above Tokyo Debunker. Story sucks massively but the characters are just chef's kiss😔🤌 for me TD is kinda "twst if it was fun"😁 but it's a little bit boring overall so I forget to login often. Black Butler - HERMAN GREENHILL - Sebek's blueprint!! Yana's main work. Her artstyle and story is just🤌 I don't think I need to add more. Ikemen Villains – I'm not into ikemen series too much (because I find them boring), but in Villains, I like the characters and the stories. Also, I play both the Japanese and English versions because they help me extend my vocabulary! This game is very text-heavy (like any visual novel), and the language is quite complicated sometimes, so I think - why not use leisure time efficiently and enhance my language skills as well? 😁 For example this screenshot
where else would I learn that voice can become pregnant lol Tears of Themis - however I just can't bring myself to enjoy a game with romantic aspects if I don't find ANY of the cast attractive. But if I want to relax and watch some soft romance (I ship the MC with the guys instead) with good music and pleasant visuals I go to ToT. It's like my comfort place.
Anything to do with mythologies, Greek mythology specifically. I would say Epic, but unfortunately...like I said - not a big fan of singing 😢😢😢
Also knights! I like medieval-themed media. And historical. I'm a big fan of historical films and series - the Vikings, or Polish 1670, etc! So I like Assassin's Creed games too😀 Btw if you've heard of WolfyTheWitch - I'm a big fan of their works!
I'd like to try more games and media, but my energy and time resources should be allocated wisely, so the list is small, sadly 😔
Thank you for asking! 💚💚💚

I read a post where OP listed off all of the reasons why they don't see Mallyuu being possible in canon and believes that Malleus would be in a politically arranged marriage to a powerful fae of high status. I strongly disagree with OP. Even as someone who isn't a huge Malleus stan or has their Yuu shipped with him.
Okay, sure. If we're looking at that possibility from a strictly dogmatic historical and realistic lense, then I agree that statement would be correct. But we're not talking about the possibility of a real life marriage for a crown prince here, but about a fictional one in a Disney game. In that case, I think it's possible. Because...
I don't think game has such a law actually put in place. The game never mentioned it. The closest thing are that stupid council, who could be overthrown or put in their place, and Lilia saying that "Malleus can't enter a marriage lightly" during the Ghost Marriage event. (Far as I'm aware, I've tuned out most of Book 7 since it's mostly just one stupidly long flashback.)
If such a law did exist and Malleus was in a canonical arranged marriage, wouldn't the game have brought it up by now? (Yana sucks at foreshadowing and laying down this shit, but come on! That's too much even for her. xD)
Yuu brings some things to the table. They are human. Malleus marrying them would help with diplomatic relations between the fae and the humans. With how isolated the fae are in that world, they kinda need it. They also survived several overblots and would've saved Malleus' life, which is worth something.
I'm pretty sure that his grandmother could pull a Sultan and just change the law if such a thing is in place. She's one of the most powerful fae in the world, so what she says goes. She could easily put that council in their place if she must.
Dragon eggs in canon can only be hatched by true love, either platonic or romantic. (Even if I think that whole thing is silly, but that's beside the point.) If Malleus was in an arranged loveless marriage, he would never be able to produce an heir like the council wants, even if he has an AFAB/cis female partner. If they want any kids from him and he marries an AFAB person/cis female, it must be someone he loves like Yuu. If he marries someone AMAB or cis male, then he can just adopt or use a surrogate.
If we bring mythology/folklore into this, it's even more possible. The fae criteria for marriage is focused more on how talented and attractive the human partner is, that's it. There are plenty of stories where fae "spirit away" normal human women and men away to marry fae royalty. I imagine the fae in TWST are similar.
As for the life span thing, I think either Malleus will pull an Edward and let Yuu age normally or have the human partner drink fae aging potion. (I went with the latter in my own writing in a general sense. Again, shipping my Yuu with Jamil.)
Even if he was in one, he would find a way out of it. One of the biggest tropes that the Disney brand stands for is "true love conquers all". While the form of that love changes, that idea remains the same. The game shattering that by making Malleus be doomed to be in a loveless arranged marriage forever would go against what the brand stands for, so it seems highly unlikely. The fact that the game is also tapping into the otome market makes it even less so.
So, yeah. While I don't think MallYuu will ever be canon, I think a union between them is quite possible. It's fanfiction. Do whatever you want.

I'm in love with Sebastian and Ciel's dynamic.
I can't find another dynamic/relationship like theirs. It's so unique
They care about each other, they hate each other, they need each other, they're best friends, they're master and servant, they're predator and prey, owner and pet, human and demon.
They're passive-aggressive towards each other. They reuse each other's jokes. They BULLY each other (thats where my name comes from lol)
They're teaching and learning from each other. They imitate one another (both unintentionally and intentionally). Sebastian is raising Ciel. Ciel is changing who the demon named Sebastian is. They're protective. They're possessive.
And Sebastian himself is such a unique character. I can't find another character like him. He's suave, deliberate, patient, and capable. He can do anything when he sets his mind to it. He's a dominant presence but chooses to be submissive. He is mysterious but not secretive. Seb is incredibly smart and witty, and sharp minded. Despite being a cold and calculated person on the outside, he can't help but show every emotion on his face.
Seb can't help but emote and express himself even when he's alone. He smiles genuinely when he's with a cat. He talks to himself aloud when he's aggravated by a task or trying to think of a solution. He even laughs to himself.
Seb can be whiny, silly, and petty. I'd say that he values having fun in his role more than anything (aside from his meal). The man makes up little catchphrases and jokes for himself. He likes to get creative with things that don't need to be all that excessive, just to show that he can. I imagine making an overelaborate chocolate statue for a charity event was fun to him (despite the stress of fixing the servant's mistakes).
He lets himself get "hurt feelings" over small things (if you could call it that).
Sebastian gets upset when someone calls him old. He's confused when Soma says that he's "not kind." He frets over Ciel's outfits and gets personally offended by Nina Hopkins. His cooking MUST be the best, or his feelings will get hurt. An apathetic response breaks his demon heart (not actually).
Sebastian has to be the center of everything, and if he isn't, he will make it about himself. All of his energy goes into making sure that he- and the things he does- are beyond perfect. He's super extra. Is he having fun? Probably.
And when it comes to Ciel, Sebastian shows something that's strikingly similar to care, pride, attachment, affection, and admiration.
(He may even actually feel those things )
There's so much more to appreciate about him. Yana is such an amazing writer
#i just love him so much#if i could write a character even a quarter as good as sebastian my life will be complete#Ciel and Sebastian's relationship is a masterpiece#black butler#kuroshitsuji#kuroshit#sebastian michaelis#sebastian black butler#sebastian kuroshitsuji

It’s the boy! His hair had no reason to be as difficult to draw as it was 😤
(All credit for the og sprite belongs to the Twisted Wonderland team and Yana Toboso! The original thought for this was lightly inspired by @oya-oya-okay’s Ciel in twst au!)
This was just for funsies based off this post I made last night. I imagine Alois would keep his normal vest and his iconic coat, I just didn’t feel like drawing it. He’s also got Lilia style pants and heels because it fits his vibe. There is literally no actual plot to the idea of Alois being in TWST, it was just a silly little idea that popped into my head lol.
And yes, he is still wearing the knee high socks 😌 ✨
