sometimes i think it must be harder to learn languages that use logographs because if you don't recognize a character you can't guess what it means or even what it sounds like, but also I think maybe most people can't do this with phonemic writing systems either so it probably rounds off to not being much different over the whole population i guess

when you were a child, did you ever kill a squirrel with a slingshot and were surprised that you felt nothing and wondered if you were capable of doing it to a human?

I swear it was just a mistake😭😭😭 I didn’t mean to do it at all. I was aiming for the bird instead but the squirrel got in the way. I tried everything. CPR, mouth to mouth. There was nothing I could do. It’s haunted me every day ever since then💔

my mom and i used to make this depression meal when i was still living with her. we were both unmedicated and undiagnosed autistic so we just combined a bunch of our safe foods into one big burrito. it was a can of corned beef hash, shredded pepperoni, shredded cheese, sour cream, and taco sauce, all wrapped up in a giant tortilla. all wed have to do is open a can and toss it in a pan and then wed be good so it was helpful when we both hadnt eaten all day and could barely drag ourselves outta bed

worst place ive ever been, food wise at least, is straight up cracker barrel. i got the hash brown casserole and it had a fucking puddle. of liquid. underneath. the entire meal was cold and. damp. evil evil place
