I’ve been drawing basically my whole life, I made little comics and stuff, all before I knew what an OC was, I think when I decided to get actually serious though was when I started to get more into the internet, and saw art styles that i liked, and noticed that this is actually something I can do and not just for animation and other such industries. It mostly got actually serious when I started digital art in middle school, but only recently have I actually tried to emphasize anatomy and understanding my art, which I never did earlier and I think it caused a bit of a skill curve for me. (Woe short term memory loss be upon ye)) almost forgot to answer the last part, I think I did expect to, I just never knew in what, art is basically my whole being.

The overcrowded room has been slowly making Hot Rod insane for nearly as long as they have been inside.

He'd hoped that, after his achievements, he'd manage to simply get back on his ship and get the fuck out of there before he ran into any more Cybertronians. But his luck doesn't often enjoy being used like that, and so his processor decided to start working again.

Trying to connect stars, an attempt at making sense of a deja-vu that eats at him like a scraplet who's only ever known hunger. An attempt at forgetting that there's so many people around, that its so crowded. He can feel his spark spin uncomfortably in his chassis.

"I meant we've met, I think." Hot Rod tries to not mind the kick one of the local lifeforms gives his knee. Accidental, but still annoying. "Ever been to Nyon? Maybe I seen ya at the port. Used t'be popular with your folk." Hot Rod stares up at the ceiling, and is rewarded a sneeze for his hubris.

"Might've met ya durin' the Insurgence days. Or when y'all were recruitin'." His voice is a little quieter now, as if afraid anyone else might hear.

vernon has no idea you even showed up until he feels you gently tapping his shoulder. he lets out a completely-normal-yelp, headphones falling off his head the moment he jerks around to face a slightly-terrified you as you stand there. seungkwan rolls his eyes from the doorway as he continues on to his room a moment later, mug in hand.

well. that answers how you got in.

"sorry," you say, then look him over. "... you're not dressed?"

vernon is very much dressed. "huh?"

you give him this patient smile--one he's seen plenty of times, especially when he's overworking himself on stuff. "vernon. honey..." you hold out a bouquet of flowers, "happy valentines day?"

oh fuck. that explains all the fucking hearts at work. it's been decorated for valentines for the past week and he'd stayed up late last night getting in some last minute bullshit that fell to him. he'd seen the date and yet nothing ever clicked as he went about his day completely on auto-pilot.

he's already stripping off his hoodie as he gets up, making his way over to his closet. "i'm so fucking dumb, babe--"

"you've been busy, i get it," you say, throwing yourself into his chair. it rolls a little, but you catch yourself before it can go too far. "these are fake, by the way," you hold up the bouquet. "since i would have accidentally killed them otherwise."

plus the hay fever, but it's an unspoken thing between you. he stops for a moment, hoodie thrown onto his bed alongside the t-shirt he was wearing. he accepts the flowers and kisses you quick, planting an extra one on your forehead before he pulls away.

"happy valentines day," he sets the flowers aside to put away later. "gimme five minutes and i'll be ready."

you stand, pressing a chaste kiss against his cheek before you go to wait in the living room. "i'll hold you to it."
