I live in a city full of people whose personalities are “I write code and drive fast cars”, I let them show off and nod politely because I’m classy.

Oh you’re really new to it! Congratulations! Is it just general, or do you focus on one issue?

Shownu’s just like “here’s my terrible child who bites me, ah, what can I do about it, I love him deeply”. He’s those images of animals climbing all over a capybara that’s just chilling. And of course I love his arms literally what am I doing at the gym if not trying to get his arms. He’s so strong and so controlled in his dance it’s insane, and then you remember he’s taller than a lot of idols and it’s even more impressive.

Minhyuk’s holding it down for all of us with those big ass hands of his.

“Disney face Marvel body” is absolutely Wonho. When he’s in skimpy clothing that shows off his body but being a sweetheart or a complete dork? He’s soooo precious.

And then the way Changkyun released “Goddamn” after they knew Wonho was landing on his feet with his re-debut? It felt like a direct response to it, and a very deliberate story about an individual struggling with substance use and mental health issues deserving of care and empathy, rather than “drug users are monsters and criminals”. I love Duality so much, it really feels so small and personal from being such a small team doing everything, and the fact he took that opportunity to address an issue that hurt someone so close to him so publicly was really beautiful. Especially picking drug imagery that implies suffocation and muteness? If I tear up at the shot in the video where he looks up at the camera with the mask on with exhaustion and resignation, well, that’s between god and me.

Anyway!

That sounds like a really healthy way to go about dating. A partner should enhance your life, not be your life, and it’s great that you’re waiting for something that is beneficial to you rather than just trying to make it fit.

I like your writing a lot, so i was really happy that it turns out you accept requests!!! If you dont mind, can i request a scenario thingy where sick hero is at home by themself getting bedrest, then villain visits them and brings a gift? And by gift, i mean violence lmao, so hero is already sick, but villain just had to add more to it. Oh and villain is resourceful, so they use like.. stuff in hero's home for the "gift"... maybe using hero's kitchen knife? Or like some random towel? I think anything can be a weapon..

The hero blinked their eyes open, wincing at how dry they were. They stared up at the ceiling of their living room, before pushing themselves into a sitting position. What time was it? Maybe they could get some work done before midnight...

A shadow in the corner of the room broke them out of their thoughts. They squinted, rubbing their eyes roughly. After another furious scrub at their eyes, the figure had gotten closer. Instead of lurking in the corner, they were now lurking only a few feet away. The proximity allowed for the hero to see their face properly, and they groaned loudly at the realization.

“Villain.”

“Ah, hello there,” the villain grinned, hands behind their back. “How’s my favorite hero doing?” The hero rolled their eyes, grabbing the blanket at their feet and tugging it over their legs.

“How does it look like I’m doing?” the hero snapped, gesturing to the messy state of the room around them. Normally, they would be ashamed of the tissues, dirty dishes, and unwashed clothes everywhere but they didn't have the energy to be embarrassed. Not when it felt like someone was taking a jackhammer and hammering their skull.

The villain nonchalantly took out a knife and started tossing it up and down in their hand. The hero squinted to get a better look at the knife. It looked familiar. It had the same handle and design as their kitchen knives- oh.

“You’re really going to kill me with my own kitchen knife?” the hero asked hoarsely. They chanced a glance back at the knife block on their kitchen counter and, sure enough, there was a knife missing. They sighed heavily, backing up against the arm of their couch. Their couch was getting too small, they noted with annoyance. Although, it never was quite big enough, was it? The hero sighed, leaning back to look at the villain.

“Maybe,” the villain raised their eyebrows in a vaguely threatening way. The hero stifled a chuckle at that.

“Fine,” the hero shrugged, sniffling loudly. They cleared their throat with a wince. “Go ahead, then.”

In the blink of an eye, they had the knife to the hero’s throat. The hero’s breath fluttered for a brief second, before they brought up a shaky hand to grab the villain's hand on the knife and push it closer to their throat.

“Do it,” the hero whispered, their eyes red and puffy. A tear rolled down their face as their eyes watered. They sniffed again, hissing in annoyance because they could hardly breathe through their nose.

“You’re no fun like this,” the villain snapped, removing the knife from the hero’s neck with a grimace. They shook their head in disbelief, and walked behind the couch the hero was sitting on. The hero shrugged, wiping their eyes with their shirt sleeve. and burrowed back under their blanket.

“Sorry,” they muttered, closing their eyes and attempting to fall asleep.  Admittedly, the villain’s late night visit had sapped up any remaining energy they thought they had.

“Are you the real hero?” the villain muttered under their breath. The hero tried their best to hold back a flinch as the villain placed a hand on their forehead. They breathed slowly, their heart pounding in their chest. The villain’s hand remained on their forehead for only a couple seconds, and yet, to the hero it felt like a millennium.

The hero didn’t answer, hoping that their feigned sleep would soon turn into real sleep. It eventually did, but not before they heard the villain whisper something under their breath.

“I really don’t understand you,” they whispered in a soft voice as the hero drifted off into sleep.
