OKAY WAIT so in 1x04 of Ghosts, Free Pass, Lady Button tells Alison (to tell the film producer) that Henry VIII dined at Button House. Humphrey, who is from the Tudor era (aka Henry VIII’s time) goes on to say exactly what was served at the dinner.
Here’s the part that got me though - Henry VIII was known for beheading people (his wives Anne Boleyn and Catherine Howard come to mind as prime examples), and Humphrey was clearly beheaded, a death which must have taken place at Button House! Is it possible that when Henry VIII came to dine, Humphrey accidentally did something to piss him off and got his head removed for his troubles?
Also, if this is what happened and we get a flashback to that night, can Ben Willbond please reprise his role as Henry VIII from Horrible Histories? Lmao it will mean absolutely nothing to people who haven’t watched HH (and actually will probably be confusing to some degree) but it would be hilarious for those who get the reference haha.
