Heya! Just read through all of your headcannons and I gotta say, I LOVE THEM <3
So I was wondering if you're able to write how the bachelors would react to the Farmer boasting how talented/beautiful/strong/kind their husbands are?
Thank you :D
bachelors reacting to lovingly boastful!farmer || headcanons
all of these boys are so grateful to have someone as loving as you <3
warnings: nothing really, just some cute fluff :)
requested by: anon! hiyaaa, tysm for the request! i appreciate the compliment, and i really hope you enjoy this one!! <33 this is a really cutsie request, and i'm sorry it's on the shorter side! :)
alex
• Alex was head over heels in love with you, and he cannot believe he has someone as amazing as you in his life! You're the apple of his eye, and he can't believe you think so highly of him! When you're openly loving to him, talking super well about him, and overall being super proud of being his partner? Well, it certainly gives him an ego boost! He tries to have a manly persona, but underneath it all, he doesn't have much self confidence. However, you're building it, day by day!
• “You really think I'm all that stuff? ... well, if you think so, I must be really cool to be around! I appreciate everything you say, I don't hear it that often ... I hate to admit it, but I talk down to myself a lot. It makes me really happy to hear that you are so open with your love for me. I'm glad I'm good enough for you that you're proud to show me off!”
elliott
• You're Elliott's muse, and he never fails to come up with something he loves about you. He talks about you all the time to anyone that will listen, and when you do the same to him as well? Oh, he just melts! The idea that someone could love him just as much as he loves them, and show it off to everyone he knows? He's starstruck. He is hopelessly devoted to you.
• “My dear, you were talking me up an awful lot today, and I just want to let you know ... it warms my heart when you speak of me this way. The words that spill from your lips ignite my heart in ways that you might not understand. I love you so much, my dear, and I appreciate you more than you'll ever know.”
harvey
• Harvey is definitely more of a shy partner. He is quite reserved, and doesn't often express PDA. But, when he hears how well you speak of him, and how open you are ... the love shows in his expressions. His deeply flushed face, his slightly widened eyes. He often puts a hand on his cheek, and gentle smile creeping it's way onto his lips as he looks away. He's certainly bashful, but he won't protest.
• “Goodness, love, you definitely know how to fluster me in front of a group of people ... no, no, I'm not complaining! I ... enjoyed it a lot, actually ... you see aspects of myself that I don't even see, and you're so unashamed about it. I love you. I should say it more often, and maybe in front of people. I might be able to fluster you in front of others, for a change?”
sam
• Sam is an incredibly loving partner, and super big on PDA! He loves showering you with love and affection and front of others, and hearing you talk him up? Oh, he's going to one up you! He's not going down without a fight. Why would you ever think that you could beat him in a compliment fight?
• “Hey, you started it! Baaaaabe, just accept the compliment! ... I definitely accepted your compliments, I don't know what you're talking about! I just had many more compliments for you! ... hey, don't pout at me! You're just mad I won! Hah!”
sebastian
• Sebastian is certainly on the shy side. He's not too big on verbal PDA, but sometimes he'll rest a gentle hand on your back or give you a soft peck. But you're so ... outspoken about your love for him. He didn't expect to find someone who's so loving and appreciative. His face would flush a deep red, and his palms would get clammy.
• “... I wasn't expecting all of that today ... no, no, not in a bad way! ... I enjoyed it ... I'm just not used to it. I really don't mind ... it's just something I never thought would happen to me. It's a great problem to have ... I'll get used to it. Keep doing it, I ... I really love it.”
shane
• Shane has definitely made a good bit of progress opening up toward the town, thanks to you. However, he's still a bit standoffish. He's not too vulnerable with everyone, but ... when you're complimenting him, he can't help but smile and blush a little bit. It's really sweet, and the town really didn't expect him to be such a softie!
• “You didn't have to do all that, I know you love me ... you really wanna talk about it all the time? Well, uh, ... thanks. I really do appreciate that. Just ... don't mind my reaction, alright? I'm just not used to this stuff! ... I do love you though, and I'm glad you're breaking me out of my shell. Thank you, hon.”

Hi there, i feel like our spouse doesn't react much to all the magical weirdness on our farm
Can i get some hc for Sdv+sve spouses one day waking up and being able to see an army of juminos recolting crops (farmer have like 4/6 juminos huts and lots of crops)
And the farmer just say "oh you can finally see them" while giving the juminos some raisins.
Heya 👋 Thank you for your ask, dear anon! (and I apologize for taking a little longer to answer 😅).
_________________________________________
SDV/SVE bachelors:
Alex can't believe his own ears! Spirits? For real? No way! The athlete dropped everything and quickly walked over to one of the Junimo and started poking at them, causing the little creature to squeak. "Alex, don't be rude. At least offer them raisins first." "Oh, sorry..." But he can't help himself because... a real spirits!
"Hey hon, I made you coffee-" Stepping out onto the front porch of the farm house, Shane found an army of apples with eyes and arms and legs following Farmer around like little chickens following mama hen. With a "fuck this shit, I'm out" face, he walked back home, thinking it was all from lack of sleep.
Sam's eyes nearly popped out of his orbits when he saw Farmer surrounded by apple-like creatures that were jumping and reaching for the raisins in Farmer's hands. The guitarist approached his spouse with an obvious question, but his stomach rumbled treacherously. "Do you have any raisins left for me?" Breakfast first, question later.
"Huh." That was all Sebastian expressed as he treated Junimo to some raisins. This creatures kinda cute, actually. "Sebby, dear, didn't it surprise you at all?" *Sebastian looks at the huge slime hutch, the coop with void chickens, the giant golden clock and the four tall warp obelisks* "Nah, not really, why?"
Not believing his own eyes, Harvey wiped his glasses and looked again, but what he saw before him had not changed. Farmer was still standing over the strange leaf house, and the apple-like creatures were still jumping around them. The doctor felt a little uneasy. He wants to ask. At the same time, he doesn't want to ask anything, lest he break his mind completely.
At first Elliott couldn't understand why there were different apples lying around his spouse. Red, yellow, green... blue and purple? Until those apples had eyes, arms and legs. "Good morning, Elliott, did you sleep well?" Apparently not, because the writer feels that sleep deprivation is making him see some... jumping apples.
Why would Magnus be surprised by the existence of Junimo? In fact, he's the one who introduced Farmer to these creatures. Interest in how his spouse had made friends quickly with the forest spirits, yes, but surprised? He is a wizard, he'd seen more stranger things than that in his life.
Well, that.... explains why Farmer refused Victor's advice to hire some helpers for the farm. Turns out his beloved spouse already has helpers... Little, apple-like helpers. Victor knows magic exists, but he didn't think he'd see something like this in real life. This is great, actually. Very interesting.
Does Lance see Junimo? *Chuckle* Of course, dear Farmer, and not only does he see them, but he even managed to ask the little forest spirits a few questions. For a good portion of raisins, because they love this treat so much. When else would the gallant adventurer have a chance to chat with Junimos, hm?
_________________________________________
SDV/SVE bachelorettes:
It had been about half a minute, and Maru couldn't let go of the idea that what she was seeing was the work of magic, and not Farmer's little robotic assistants. Magic, spirits... No, that somehow doesn't fit in her head. She's determined to study these 'Junimos' to see who or what they are. Erm, if the Farmer and the creatures themselves don't mind, of course.
You know that state when you have a lot of conflicting emotions bubbling up inside you, you don't know how to react to your own cognitive dissonance about the "magic" that is right in front of your eyes, but you try to stay positive for the sake of the person you love? That's what Penny was experiencing when her spouse was showing her forest spirits.
"Oh, so cute!" Abigail has a bit of magic in her, so of course she can see Junimo too. She's in awe of these forest creatures! And they are such wonderful helpers, harvesting the crops. "My spouse pays you well, yeah?" And the little Junimos jump around happily with tasty raisins in their little hands.
"Eeew! What is tha- Ah, okay, at least it's not rats." Apparently Haley can excuse cute magical forest spirits, but she draws the line when it comes to rats. Because she's terrified of those rodents, yuck. Junimos at least help her beloved Farmer with work, and they smell like forest freshness.
Merciful Yoba! Emily felt the presence of someone's unusual aura, but she couldn't explain who it was coming from. It turned out that all the time the little apple-shaped creatures had been at the farm and had helped her spouse! Kind spirits, how wonderful! And they like raisins? Oh, she sure has a treat for her new forest friends!
Huh, when Leah mentioned that Stardew Valley is "full of magic," she meant that it's full of inspiration for her future works, not literally... Oh, well. Yes, strange little creatures live with her and Farmer, so what? They're cute, kind, and hard-working. Great neighbours (not like she had when she lived in the Zuzu City).
Olivia thought all week that there were a bunch of mice running around the farm, stealing the ripe wheat. After expressing their fears to Farmer that their crops might be destroyed by pests, Farmer showed their wife that it wasn't mice, but little helpers, Junimos, who live there. ...She need a glass of wine. Maybe two.
"Oh, do you see them too, dear?" To be honest, Claire would rather not see them. Not that she minded the cute, erm, creatures, just... Eh, you know what? Why should she be surprised at all? There are so many unusual things and creatures (golden chickens, slimes) on her spouse's farm that there's no point in her being surprised.
Sophia was stuck somewhere between the "Adorable lil apples!" and "Eeeeep! What is that?!" when she saw her spouse surrounded by a dozen magical Junimos. The pink-haired girl floods Farmer with questions and tries to take pictures of the forest creatures on her phone, to show Scarlett (only they've scattered now, awww!)

Jake misses Christmas, Rooster realizes a few things
AO3 Link
Previous Chapter
The first couple of weeks had been hard on everyone. Natasha and I had spent the first few days curled up in one bed, then she had slept over with Javy more often than not. Proving to the world that Tasha and I were right when we said that Bob was the best person in the world, he had let me sleep over on his couch whenever I felt like it, which had been quite often. We would watch old movies and order take out, ending the night the same way every time by looking at dog pictures.
I was doing…okay, all things considered. Until Harvey sent a text asking if I was still coming to Iowa for Christmas. Sure, I knew Christmas was coming, it was hard to miss the decorations everywhere, but it hadn’t really sunk in that Jake wouldn’t be there until that moment. Somehow I had managed to get through the call without crying, confirming that I would take a flight up in a few days to spend Christmas with them. Seeing my nieces would help distract from the pain of Jake being away and I would be able to spoil them rotten with presents.
But today seemed to be the day of overwhelming phone calls because as soon as I was done with Harvey, my agent, Jason, called.
“Heya, D. How’s the draft coming along?” I rolled my eyes, laying back in my bed. Jake’s pillow still smelled like him, mostly because Javy had stolen Jake’s cologne for me to spray on it, and I found myself sleeping on it more often than my own.
“You’ll get the pages when I’m ready to share them, nosy,” He laughed. I could imagine him sitting with his feet up on his desk, tie hanging loose around his neck. “How’s the scheduling for the book tour coming? Any way we could do it in the next six months?” Keep busy. That’s what Penny had said to do and being away from the apartment for a month or two, every second of my day being directed by Jason and Grace, would be the perfect way to keep my mind occupied.
“You’re never this eager to do a book tour,” Jason laughed again. “I can schedule something out for March, four months should be enough time to book everything. Grace will be ecstatic, I’ll call her once we hang up. Ooh, I could conference her, one sec.”
“You don’t have to-”
“Whaddya want, Jason?” Grace’s thick Jersey accent came over the line and I had to bite my lip to keep from laughing.
“Our little angel is on the call, she wants to do a book tour.” Grace gasped,
“Hell must have frozen over, good lord. Daisy, is this true?”
“It’s true, dang, you two don’t have to act like I physically run away from you guys to avoid public engagements.” As soon as I said it, I knew what Jason was going to bring up.
“Do you remember Tucson?”
“Nevermind, proceed with the roasting,” I groaned, “I deserve that.” Grace and Jason began to regale me with all of the times I had claimed to have a cold or a headache to get out of events.
There was still no news on whether or not they would be able to talk with Jake and Rooster during the deployment, so Penny had told me to write letters but not send them. Letters from loved ones were notorious for getting lost, so it was more of just an exercise in letting out my emotions. So that’s what I spent my flight to Minnesota doing, writing out letters in the cursive scrawl Jake had once called pretty, detailing how much I missed him, what was going on at home, and other random thoughts that popped into my mind.
My suitcase was filled with presents and enough warm clothes to survive the drastic weather shift. Christmas wasn’t the same without snow and I was happy to see that Minnesota had gotten the memo, the ground being covered in inches of the powdery whiteness.
“Auntie Daisy!” Sarah screeched, waving excitedly beside her sister, Haley, who was also waving. Harvey looked good, his ginger mustache waxed into a handlebar, wearing matching Christmas sweaters with his wife Emma, whose blond hair was held up
“Hey there, babies!” I sweep both of them into a tight hug, letting their giggles wash over me, the love making me feel warm from head to toe.
“It’s so good to see you, DeeDee,” Harvey pulled me into a hug, kissing my temple, his mustache tickling me. “It’s been way too long.”
“God, did you get even taller?” Harvey had long surpassed my height but it was still fun to tease him, “Emma, you must be feeding him well.” I hugged my sister-in-law with a grin,
“You know me, Harvey’s been doing all the cooking. I’m glad you’re here though, his cooking’s got nothing on yours.”
“I see what this is,” I laughed, feeling lighter than I had since Jake left. “Invite me here just so I’ll make lasagna for you.” God did it feel good to be around family.
The days until Christmas were filled with festive activities with the girls, going sledding, building snowmen, making homemade hot chocolate and marshmallows, and decorating too many gingerbread cookies for my wrists to handle. On Christmas, after everyone had gone to bed, Harvey and I had sat down on the couch one night with hot toddies and gingerbread cookies, curled up under blankets.
“So, how’s everything been going with that pilot of yours?” Harvey sipped his mug of tea and bourbon. I smiled, feeling a tinge of sadness thinking about Jake. When did I go from being completely opposed to a relationship to being so stupidly in love that I couldn’t go a few days without missing one person?
“He wants to get married,” Harvey’s expression took on that of a teenage girl who just got told Taylor Swift was coming to town.
“Oh my God! That’s so exciting, I mean, do you want to get married?” His excitement was understandable, I had loudly proclaimed my resistance to get married many times in the past, much to my brother’s disappointment. My face must have given the answer away because he gasped dramatically, hand over his heart. “Oh my God, you do.”
“Kind of want to have kids too, one or two of them, watch them run around with the girls and have fun.” Harvey looked like he was about to pass out from happiness. Honestly, I had never thought that I would end up being this happy in my life, not since the day our parents died, and it was kind of surreal to even be voicing this aloud, especially to Harvey. “Kind of want to be Mrs. Daisy Seresin when he gets home from wherever the hell he is.”
X
“Stop grinding your teeth, you’ll get a headache,” I reminded Hangman for the third time that day. Poor guy had been on edge since the moment we got on the ship and I was under strict instructions from Daisy to keep an eye on him. “One day at a time, man, we’ll get through this.”
What we had assumed would be a standard deployment, hanging out on the ship, flying recon or just for practice, and getting to call home every night, had turned out to be a top-secret mission that needed them on standby just in case. This meant that there would be no phone calls home, no letters unless sent through command staff, and not knowing what was going on unless they got the go. The uncertainty of it all was killing me but nowhere near as bad as it was Jake.
I understood. I mean, he wanted to get back to his girl. Back to Daisy, who, if I was being honest, was way out of his league. They were clearly in love, the kind of love that no one could deny or question, and again, if I was being honest, I couldn’t help but be a little jealous of. Though, both of us going insane being separated from our partners probably would’ve resulted in a stolen jet and joint court-marshalling for being AWOL and theft of government property. So maybe it was a good thing that I wasn’t in love.
“This is going to be the longest six months of my life,” Jake groaned, unclenching his jaw. I crossed my fingers that Daisy would somehow get letters to Jake through command, for my own sanity if nothing else.

Heya! You seem like a cool person. Soooo what species are you? You're someone special, I gotta say.
— Aster ( @acanthus-aster-sdv 💜 )
Thanks! I kinda don’t know!
I used to be human but when I moved to the valley it turns out my grandpa got the bloodline cursed and by the winter I stopped being fully human. I asked the wizard about it when it was just starting and he was able to figure out what i probably was turning into since it wasn’t obviously like a deer or a fox and it turned out to be a type of valley spirit like the junimos. He actually showed me some old drawings of them from when they were more commonly seen and I’m not fully turning into one but it’s definitely like a hybrid werewolf situation sort of thing
I asked Marlon about them and apparently back before the valley was as developed, during the winter they’d help guide people to safety or get help for them. They’re most common in the mountains, travel in small packs and rarely reveal themselves unless they’re guiding someone. Apparently it’s like they disappear into the snow which so far I can’t do that I don’t think.
When I transformed in the winter and kinda freaked it though I think some found me, I ended up collapsing just outside of the mines and i know my vision was blurry and I was very out of it but I could like, see their paws treading near my face and something pushing against me until Marlon found me and it stops.
Shane also mentioned seeing something as he was walking out of jojamart that he couldn’t really identify that kept disappearing when he walked towards it and reappearing a few seconds later further along the path at around the same time Marlon was trying to get me to Dr Harvey’s
(this is what they look like)

Heya Harvey,
Been a bit since I dropped by. Sorry bout that.
Here’s a fun little question to think about. If you were a mythic, magical, and or supernatural/paranormal creature what do you think you’d be?
And a basket of cookies as a gift lol 🍪
hello, L. don't worry, i understand how busy life can be.
... now that's a very intriguing question. if i were to be a mythical creature, i think i'd have to possess some kind of healing power. maybe that would entail a unicorn, or a fairy? what do you think?
and thank you for the thoughtful gift. i'll make a tea for myself and have these cookies along with it.

This "train" thing was... Strange. Elena hated loud sounds, and now she sat in a large machine that was one consistently loud volume. She looked to her papa, but he didn't seem to mind. He said they had an important person to meet.
"Ah, Harvey," a woman smiled.
Elena looked her up and down. She had cyan hair, a smile that scared her and strangest of all, she couldn't recognize this woman despite her clear familiarity with her papa.
"Mindt, good to see you," he said, and gestured to the seat facing his, "Elena, why don't you go explore the train? I hear one car has picture books."
"Okay! Bye papa!" she said, not glancing back as she left.
She didn't like picture books all that much but figured it was a boring adult conversation if she couldn't be there.
She made her way to the end of the car, but hesitated before she opened the door. The space between each car had no roof or walls and hardly even a floor. She feared she might fall onto the tracks.
But she stood on her toes and peered out the window. The little platform connecting the carts had a railing, and admittedly, the view outside looked awesome.
She opened the door and the howling wind blew her hair in all directions. Slipping through the door, she shut it again and held on tight to the rail.
This was Elena's first time in the Harborlands (She knew the language though, her mother was from there and taught it to her as a child, or so her papa said) and the landscape was truly a sight to behold. Rolling hills covered in lush green trees, rivers and lakes with crystal blue water, and gods, the sea.
She had seen it before on the boat trip across the Solistian sea, but it was a sight one never tired over. How it sparkled and glimmered in the evening sun and that beautiful sound of waves crashing against the golden coast. Though the wind made her so cold she shivered, she could stay there forever.
But a hand pulled her inside.
"Don't stand out there for so long, it's against the rules," a woman said.
She shut the door and looked down at the young girl with an unfriendly eagle's eyes.
"S-sorry, I didn't know that!" Elena squeaked.
"Throné, don't ya go scarin' that kid!" a yellow clad man said.
The woman rolled her eyes before muttering an obscenity Harvey had told her never to say under her breath.
"Where are your parents?" Throné asked.
"My papa's in the other car talking to a weird lady and said I can't listen," Elena replied.
"And your mother?"
"She's dead."
Elena knew almost nothing of emotions, but she could tell the look on Throné's face certainly wasn't one of amusement or even joy.
"Sorry, kid," she muttered.
"You said standing on that platform is against the rules. Are you a train conductor?" Elena asked.
"No, but my friend, Partitio, is," Throné said, and gestured to nothing in particular.
She groaned when she realized he had left.
"Come on, I can show you the engine room," she said.
Elena followed her as the went down the length of the train. One car was particularly packed. Apparently, it had a famous singer who everyone wanted to hear. Her singing was loud and sounded like that weird opera stuff Harvey liked. He had brought her to one and she hated every second of it, much preferring the lone violin of a priest one town over from Montwise.
Several seconds passed before Throné realized she had lost Elena.
"Sorry, I don't like sounds like that," she said when she was found.
"It's fine, I get it," Throné said.
She knelt in a corner so that Elena could climb on her back. Atop Throné's shoulders, she realized how tall the woman actually was. She nearly hit her head on the top of the door frames!
At the final car, Throné lowered Elena from her back and looked through the window into the engine car.
"There's only two people in there, so it shouldn't be cramped," she smiled.
She took Elena's hand and went through the final set of doors.
"Heya Throné!" the man with the yellow jacket smiled.
The other man stared intensely out of the window and simply muttered a "Hi" at the sound of Throné entering.
"This kid likes trains, she was asking about how it works," she smiled, gently ushering Elena forwards.
"Really now?" Partitio smiled, "I should have a manual in 'ere somewhere!"
He rummaged through the only cupboard in the room but came up with nothing. An arrow fell out and clattered to the floor. There seemed to be just about everything in that cupboard!
"I've got it here," the other man said.
When he turned to hand it to Partitio, he froze at the sight of Elena. He didn't look particularly strange to her. His hair was long and unkempt but he had a friendly looking beard paired with somewhat silly circle glasses and fairly normal clothes.
He, on the other hand, looked as though he thought she was the strangest creature alive.
"What's her name?" he asked Throné, not her.
"Elena, why do you-" and whatever the man had thought when he saw her seemed to dawn on Throné too.
"You know, Partitio, I think there was a screw loose on one of those door frames. Why don't we go fix that, and Osvald can tell Elena about how trains?" she suggested.
"That's no good. I'll get the tool kit," Partitio replied.
He didn't seem to have noticed what Throné did for he spent at least another minute looking for his screwdrivers before Throné finally dragged him away.
She slammed the door shut, and a silence fell over the girl and her papa and train conductor. Well, a relative silence. The engine roared hardly a meter away from them. Osvald didn't seem to know where to start, for he spent at least a minute thinking before Elena finally asked, "Why is the engine so loud?"
His gaze lingered on her some moments longer before flipping through his manual. Stopping at a page near the middle, he showed her a diagram of the engine.
"By burning coal in this part here, water in this tank boils. When it turns to steam, it pushes this piston here," he explained but trailed off.
"What?" Elena asked.
"Sorry, I just feel like I know you from somewhere," he muttered.
"I know, it's so weird. I feel like I've met you before. It's just on the tip of my tongue but I can't figure out where I've met anyone like you," she laughed.
Osvald smiled watching her laugh. He went on explaining how the engine worked and would glance at her to see the amazing smile on her face as she eagerly listened to every word he said.
This lovely and oddly familiar time was cut short though. Throné reentered the room with worry plastered so clearly on her face, even Elena saw it.
"What's wrong?" Osvald asked.
"Harvey's here. He's looking for Elena, he says he's her dad," she muttered.
"He... Did? Makes sense, I suppose."
Osvald turned to Elena and took her hand.
"It's gonna be okay, we'll get you away from him," he said.
But Elena calmly removed her hand from his.
"Why?" she questioned.
"He- he's not your real dad. He hurts you, doesn't he?" he said.
"I guess so, but he says it's for his experiments, so I don't really mind," she said nonchalantly, "Bye Mr. Osvald! Bye miss Throné!"
With a smile, she began the short walk back down the train to where her papa sat. She hurried though, didn't want him to worry. Little did she know, a certain scholar and thief followed close behind.
elena getting piggyback rides and looking out into the ocean… vitally important. enrichment, even.
also train conductor osvald!!!! good for him!!!! BUT LESS GOOD IS TH.

THE EVERYTHING ELSE. OSVALD BEING SO HAPPY WHEN ELENA SMILES AND. AND ELENA NOT REALIZING WHY BARVRY USING HER FOR EXPERIMENTS IS BAD…..
WEGH

Heya. I ventured onto ao3 in the hopes that someone tackled the Stephanie x Harper subtext. Nada. However it seems the Supernatural fandom has adopted the show and is working hard to get as much Harvey Dent fics as possible. I'm kinda intimidated by the long lasting power of that fandom. I think the actor was the person going to super hell on their show. I wonder if i should write something for our maybe soon to be ship
Haha, I'd forgotten that a large part of this show's fanbase are just fans of the actor who was the person going to super hell, as you put it. :P
Just don't think that'll be enough for a renewal, when almost everything is being cancelled, not just in general or f/f shows, but the CW wanting to get rid of almost all its current slate. :x

Hiii. It's been while, but here I am to annoy you with the occasional prompt once more :P
How would the SDV + SVE spouses react to the farmer (who is their partner, spouses or just dating) introducing them to the racoon family? (Because I love torturing Magnus, maybe the parents end up trusting him with their children and make him their babysitter)
❗🦝Spoilers for SDV 1.6.🦝❗
_________________________________________
Heya, good to see you again! :3
When I wrote the headcanon about this, I'm surprised that no one in the game reacted to the new raccoon house. Like, nobody? Not even least Marnie or Leah? Oh, well... 😅Anyway, thanks for the ask and enjoy! 💕
SDV/SVE spouses react to the Farmer introducing them to the raccoon family:
_________________________________________
SDV bachelors/ettes:
The little gray lumps decided to playfully attack Sam right away, poking their wet noses at him and pawing through his bag looking for anything interesting. The young guitarist laughed resoundingly, and decided to use his hand as a "claw" to show the raccoons that he was accepting the game. The babies are having fun squeaking and jumping, Sam is outright glowing with happiness, the parent raccoons are taking a break from the noisy kids, and Farmer is taking pictures on their phone to capture this touching moment.
Sebastian was probably most at ease with the raccoons, sitting on the grass while the little cubs sniffed curiously at the stranger. Farmer crouched nearby, showing their forest friends that Sebby could be trusted. So in five minutes the little raccoons were already playing and jumping around the two of them without restraint. Funny little animals. He won't mind continuing to frolic with his friendly neighbors. Hm, maybe bring them a tasty treat?
Well... Those are definitely real raccoons. It's just that after Farmer's words "neighbors-raccoons", Elliott thought at first that his dear husband did not characterize people so kindly, and then the writer remembered that he had never heard of any new residents of the Valley. The raccoons were surprisingly calm, they seemed to know Farmer for a long time, and the cubs were not afraid of Elliott at all. "Meeting with the forest neighbors..." Hmm, not a bad title for his little novella...
When the Farmer told Harvey that they had purchased so many broccoli seeds from raccoons, the local doctor thought it was a bit of an odd joke that he had no way of understanding. But now he saw with his own eyes as the raccoon came out of their little house and gave Harvey's spouse a baggie of seeds, taking pine cones in exchange. A mixture of confusion and shock, and then complete acceptance of the fact, because, as far back as Harvey could remember, the Farmer had done stranger things.
Shane stood motionless, with a "I don't get paid enough for this shit" look on his face while little baby raccoons sat on his head, shoulders, and scratched his new shoes. He definitely thinks he looks silly. But they seem like cool animals, not aggressive, plus Farmer is smiling so wide and sincere at this picture. So Shane is willing to put up with the squeaky sounds of the fidgety cubs once a week. The only no is introducing his with Farmer children or Jas. Better save that sorry.
Raccoons? Not the same ones Alex's grandfather has been complaining about for the past week? The athlete is used to seeing them as pests, since Alex used to be the one who was always picking up trash from the overturned trash bin. So he shows a bit of distrust when he finds out that their "new cool neighbors" are raccoons. Although Alex has no beef with these raccoons specifically, they seem to be peaceful, plus their cubs are super adorable.
Oh, Leah had known for a long time for that tree stump mini-cabin near the farm. Excellent carpentry, by the way. It was very skillful. And the raccoons who had settled there were apparently enjoying their cozy new place of residence, which would shelter them from any weather. Nevertheless, Leah does not dare to disturb the local fauna and advises Farmer not to get close to the raccoons, believing that animals should be respected.
When Penny saw Farmer with raccoons in their arms, the girl wanted to scream in horror, but ended up just squeaking. These are certainly not dangerous animals like a bear or wolves, but even just a couple of aggressive raccoons can pose a serious threat to humans. And the fact that the Farmer was near their cubes... But these raccoons don't seem to mind human company... probably domesticated. Penny is certainly glad that everything went well, but maybe they both shouldn't bother the wild fauna any further?
So the Farmer has been buying carrot seeds from real raccoons all this time? That's awesome! Abigail isn't exactly thrilled about the carrots, though. She didn't seem too surprised by the situation itself. Even wanted to see what else the forest fauna were selling. Seeds, seeds, more seeds... Oh, magic rock candy? Now that's interesting! Especially while she's looking at all the possible items, the baby raccoons are playing with her. So Abby is very happy to have such neighbors.
Haley squeaked twice, the first out of delight at the raccoon family in their cute little house, and the second out of surprise and fear because the raccoons had come too close to her. They don't carry rabies, do they? She looks at her spouse, waiting for their answer. At Farmer's approval, she decided to gently pet the raccoon, who seems didn't mind at all. It was fun, but Haley had had enough contact with nature for the day. Btw, where is her camera? Because she'll definitely take a dozen cute photos before leaving.
On the one hand, Maru's inner voice urges her to counsel herself and her dear spouse against contact with wild animals. On the other hand, Farmer playing with baby raccoons is probably the cutest thing Maru has ever seen, and her heart instantly melts with an overabundance of cuteness. The young inventor would spend days asking the Farmer about the raccoons themselves and how come they made a house for them.
Forest friends! Emily is unbridled delighted that her spouse has introduced her to a family of raccoons. Small and bright animals that playfully run around the blue-haired girl while she herself smiles at the most adorable picture. The interaction alone filled Emily with a huge amount of positive emotions. Oh, and the raccoons look happy in their cozy little house! She should definitely sew a couple of warm plaids for them, so that the baby raccoons will definitely not freeze in winter.
SVE bachelors/ettes:
Considering that Magnus's partner had previously shown him their ability to talk to the forest fauna ("Deal with bear and maple syrup???"), the introduction to raccoons didn't surprise him too much. What did surprise him, however, was that the parents wanted to give him, a wizard they didn't know well, their raccoon children to look after. With all due respect, he was not a babysitter for forest animals! Magnus already had his own children and a pupil to look after.
*Chuckle* What a adorable forest family. Lance is rather pleased to hear that the Farmer and he have good neighbours. Although the gallant adventurer himself doesn't have a chance to talk to the raccoon parents (and to any wild animals), their behaviour towards Lance says that they are not aggressive and don't consider him a threat. He is more interested in the fact that Farmer is actively trading with the raccoons, exchanging coal for mahogany seeds...
Farmer, wait! Stay away from the raccoons, they can be dangerous! Why don't they listen to Victor? He knows what he's talking about. Moreover, the spaghetti lover has told them many times how he was attacked by a vicious raccoon in town a long time ago. He was terrified. So don't- Farmer? Where are you going? Please don't go near- Oh... Are these raccoons tame? Did they make them a house? To keep them warm in the winter? Oh, how nice of them- ???? Did- did they just buy carrot seeds from raccoons?...
Oh, a raccoon family? This is unusual. Well, Claire kind of realises that the forest is very close by, so it's no wonder there are wildlife running around. but she never noticed this little house with cute raccoon faces sticking out of it. The red-haired girl worries when Farmer gets too close to the animals, what if her parents think they're a threat to the little ones? But they seem to regard them as their own and allow them to be petted. Claire would rather watch from the sidelines if her spouse doesn't mind.
...Olivia was beginning to worry that these raccoons wouldn't hesitate to come to their farm and make a mess in the beds. Living in the city, she knew these animals as pests and disease-carriers that crawl through bins. So she honestly said she wasn't too comfortable around raccoons. Although these ones seem to behave differently, without aggression. And the house is pretty nice. But she will need time to get used to such "neighbours".
Oh, Yoba, the Farmer made this little house themselves?! And the raccoons have babies! Five, or even six! That's so cute! Sophia is even willing to forgive the raccoons for knocking over her trash can last week, because it's the cutest thing she's ever seen in her life. The pink-haired girl is still afraid to touch them since they are wild animals after all. But she'll definitely take 100+ photos of the forest family and be sure to show Scarlett, because it's super adorable!

Heya!! It's been awhile, but Birdgirl is back!! So I remember your au/exploration of Scrappy going missing, with Ruby going to search for him, anyways, I am writing what is basically a replacement au of the Birdgirl tv show that instead involves the creator's original idea of Birdgirl(Judy) and Harvey moving to Florida and starting up a business, maybe tending bar. When I remembered your idea, I got the idea that maybe Harvey and Judy act as detectives and go along to help Ruby look for Scrappy, to sort of make up for the unpleasant outcome shown in the show. That it could be an "episode" or even an arc in my au. Do you have any ideas how it could play out from the Ruby and Scrappy perspective? I definitely have the info for Harvey and Judy to provide if you don't know how they could fit in. 💛 Birdgirl
Oh, oh, oh! I would love to provide my ideas:
Scrappy: Scrappy appears to be trapped in a life / death cycle in canon, IDK how your story will do it, but but from his perspective I'm imagining a lot of non-dialogue heavy sensations - and he's breaking down - he's very tough and determined but it's a nightmarish experience to be in. So that's what his perspective is...a nightmare. Surreal. Fast. Frightening. Oh yes, Scrappy can be frightened, though Experiences and sensations and emotions, fleeting thoughts - little dialogue. But his strength and his bravery aren't gone - in fact, it's thanks to them that he hasn't completely lost his mind.
Ruby got little focus in canon, but in your 'verse I'll imagine her as: she is under a lot of stress, and is taken a great deal of the search upon herself. Something tells me that she doesn't really feel the police force have proven themselves a decent asset in the (half-hearted, if canon is anything to go by) investigation, as the HBATA justice system seems screwed. I like to think that for better or for worse, she is tenacious af and does not. Let. Go. if she thinks you have a lead on her son. I feel that this could also be played as much for humor as it is seriously (She just does not leave her quarries alone until she gets her info)

Heya, I saw uh some of the other Batman related things you’d done and I’m not really the type of person to try and get someone to do things of the same source multiple times but… hey uh hope this isn’t a pain to do. May I please request a moodboard of Harvey Dent (specifically from the Batman Arkhamverse game Arkham Shadow pre-face scarring) with general law and court things, and a sort of monochrome palette? Thank you and of course feel free to decline!
Hi anon! I've got no issues with doing repeats at all! Not everyone is going to feel a connection to the same thing so ofc I'll do my best as always! 😁

[I am on the phone]
Yeah, that's plan if the trial goes bad. Gotta go.
[I hang up the phone and call Victor]
Heya Viccy! I need ya to go after Harvey Stone. He's got evidence against your sister. DeKiller called me an asshole. He forgot I bugged the prison~
Anyway, I'll call ya back later. I'm bored so I'ma do some torture!
Lemme know if I shouldn't or if either of the captives are off limits. Still.

Victor Doppio: “oh what the fuck, Harvey is now on my ass to, Eleanor was enough of a pain to deal with. And alright Beloved go do some torturing.”
