TRILOGY ... also known as the hive mind. voted most confusing trio of potential x-m.en villains? (moral alignment still unclear.)

raised and studied by their 'godfather', mutant geneticist dr. catesby elwood on a large lakeside property in coastal louisiana, somewhat removed from the rest of civilization (with the exception of occasional visits in the closest towns). currently? just kind of vibing. whatever happens, happens.

beatrice elwood (the only one with a legal name) more commonly known as bea. also known affectionately by the nickname 'honeybee' and the slightly less affectionate epithet 'the core'. she/her pronouns.

only brushes her hair maybe once or twice a week. it's usually clean and smells pretty nice (vanilla shampoo) but she just hates to brush it.

enjoyer of almost any type of french fry, including but not limited to crinkle cut, shoestring, curly, waffle, and wedges. finds a straight cut a little boring, but will still eat it. doesn't really consider sweet potato fries in the same category, but enjoys those as well. passionate about appetizers, sides, and condiments in general, rarely orders a main course dish at any restaurant. favourite dip is honey mustard.

probably doesn't use earbuds or headphones. forces everyone to listen to music with her, whether they like it or not. usually listening to swedish pop band abba.

dabbles in language studies, picks up new skills pretty fast as long as she focuses on honing them. (it depends.) aside from fluent english, she has a pretty good-ish understanding of danish, italian, swedish, and french. less of a grasp on, but learning spanish, latin, and mandarin. check in later and we'll see how it goes.

hates video games because if she loses, she'll usually make the controller explode. also hates rainy or snowy weather, mosquitoes, wearing bras, phrases like "bea, stop touching that" / "bea, stop doing that" / "bea, go away" / etc.

highly intelligent. but sometimes not. that's all i can say.

iris has absolutely zero nicknames and would prefer to keep it that way, but has also been referred to by the epithet 'the right hand'. they/it/she pronouns, but switches up the order of preference frequently. doesn't really care about this anyways.

brushes their hair less frequently than bea. there's no exact number or schedule, it happens when it happens. always smells like moss regardless of how clean it is. not an unpleasant moss, but i guess it depends on how much you like the scent of moss.

could and would survive solely on hunting wild game. doesn't need to right now, but would have zero problem with this.

on the topic of food, they also really like sashimi because there's not cooking involved and it's a socially acceptable way to eat raw ingredients. they're eating raw ingredients anyways though, in any situation. and yet somehow, they've never experienced any type of food poisoning or foodborne illness. one of life's mysteries.

despite the whole nature connected mutant powers etc etc, animals do not seem to be a huge fan of them? domestic animals especially, but animals in general do not approach them with a whole lot of trust. iris claims it's because they are "an apex predator" but i'd say it's actually because their vibes are bad. maybe because they're eating everything raw.

fabian, sometimes called 'fae' by iris and bea, but preferably no one else. also referred to by the epithet 'the left hand'. she/they pronouns.

brushes her hair every day. unlike some people.

very good at puzzles and board games. almost too good, to the point where it's not really fun to play any games with them because they solve in within a few short minutes.

always smells like generic ivory soap, with a slight hint of rubbing alcohol. even if she hasn't used rubbing alcohol, the smell is always there. another one of life's mysteries.

seemingly immune to the effects of salt and vinegar chips. she'll consume in moderation, but if she really wanted to, she could eat two family sized bags without having any problems.

listen to classical instrumentals more than anything else because hearing other people's voices "bothers [her]". could be something to do with the fact that there are two other people's voices in her head at all times? but who's to say?

vegan, not for any particular reason other than they just don't like the taste of meat or dairy that much. will be flexible with this and occasionally skews more vegetarian, but generally just not a meat consumer. bea thinks this is crazy. ("what about honey mustard?" / "that's not vegan." / "it's not? what animal do they get mustard from?") iris doesn't think this is crazy, but does think it's a bit stupid when they could easily take down a whole deer with their bare hands and feed the household for several weeks to a month. (depends on how big the deer is.)

even though bea is the only one who is considered a human being by law, and therefore the only one who can do things like vote in elections, apply for government services, and is required to pay taxes etc etc, fabian is the one who actually does all this stuff for the rest of them. mostly because no one else is willing to. and also because bea is sort of bad at absorbing any information that she deems as "boring" and iris might purposely create problems for everyone since they don't believe that humankind should be governed. and so, fabian is kind of the designated person for any grunt work or "official" stuff.
