part 1!
pairings! bsf!jj x reader
in which! you cant stop thinking about the night you lost your virginity to jj…. even though you have a boyfriend
warnings! 18+ smut. cheating. fingering. oral sex (m. recieving) pnv sex. unprotected sex. not proof read.
it had been two months since you lost your virginity to jj and almost a month and a half since you started officially dating your new boyfriend.
he was nice. he took you out to eat once a week, he bought you small gifts, he complimented you and you never argued. but the sex was just…bad. it was always over way too quickly and he never payed any attention to your body or what you wanted. you figured he was just one of those boys who was too scared to go down on a girl, which was fine, but it probably wouldn’t suit you in the long run.
you hadn’t been hanging around your friends very often, usually turning them down to go out with your boyfriend and jj was getting increasingly frustrated with this.
but every time you were around your friends, jj in particular, you couldn’t even look him in the eye. when you talked to him, all you thought about was the way he called you baby when he came on your stomach and the way he made you cum on his face. you felt so completely guilty for these thoughts, but nothing would stop them. you figured the best plan of action was to avoid him. not entirely, but just try not to be around him alone.
but, you did end up alone with jj by mistake one afternoon.
you had just finished surfing with kie as the swell had come in that day. you both planned to stay at the beach a little longer, but you were hungry and didn’t have any food. kie decided to go pick up something from the heyward’s shop and you went back to the chateau to grab a six pack, only to find jj working on his bike, his shirt off and his shorts dirty, probably from engine oil.
you didn’t say anything as you walked up the steps to the porch, but jj noticed you and called out.
“hey, y/n!” he yelled, wiping his hands off on a towel and throwing it on his bike. “thought you were gonna stay at the shore until later?”
you were in your damp bikini top and bottoms and a pair of sandals. you turned around at the sound of his voice and met his gaze.
“yeah..” you said. awkwardly. “i am, i was just grabbing some beers.” you turn back around, pulling open the screen door and stepping inside. once you’re in the kitchen with the refrigerator door cracked, you hear jj come into the château after you.
“what’s going on with you?” he asks, standing in the living room. you shut the refrigerator and look over at him with furrowed brows.
“what do you mean?” you question, although you knew exactly what he meant. you didn’t expect the confrontation to happen now of all times.
“don’t act like you don’t know.” he crosses his arms over his chest. “you’ve been weird around me ever since we..”
you didn’t want to hear him say it.
“jj, i’ve just been hanging around my boyfriend a lot,” you try to defend yourself, hoping he’ll stop questioning you. “i’m sorry i haven’t been talking to you. ‘been busy.”
he nods, biting his lip and looking down at the floor.
“do you regret it?” he asks, looking back up at you.
“what?” you shake your head. “no, i just-“
“you promised you wouldn’t make things weird between us and now you barely even talk to me.” jj said. “you sure i didn’t do something wrong?”
“no jj!” your voice raised slightly. “i-“ you cut yourself off, not knowing what to say. “it’s just that every time i try and talk to you, i think about what we did.” you blurt out, almost making it sound like you both murdered someone and hid the body. you made it sound like a crime, and it pogue rules, it technically was. “i thought that avoiding you was gonna take my mind off it until i got over it.”
he walks closer to the kitchen, tossing his hat somewhere on the counter.
“so you do regret it?” he questions, leaning against the counter and looking straight at you.
you shake your head no.
“i don’t, but it’s kind of wrong of me to think about you while my boyfriend’s fucking me.”
you realized what you said after it had already left your mouth and your eyes widened.
“what’d you say?” he asks, cocking his head a little at your admission, a barely visible smile playing on his lips.
“uh-“
you quickly turn around to open the fridge again, looking for some beers to take and get the hell up out of there.
“no, say it again.” jj pulls your arm, twisting you back around to face him so that your bodies were dangerously close together. your face flushed with embarrassment and your heart was thumping out of your chest.
“jj,” you say, shrugging off his touch. “i really gotta go back to the shore.” you say, but you weren’t moving. jj knew that wasn’t what you really wanted.
“i’m not stopping you.” he pulled back from you and leaned against the counter once again, showing that you had free will to leave, but you still didn’t budge. your feet were glued in place.
you wanted to kiss him so bad and get that ridiculous smile off his lips, but the thought of your boyfriend who did little to please you was the only thing that was keeping you from doing it. you bit the inside of your cheek, nervously. the tension between you two was going to make your head explode.
“he doesn’t fuck you like i do, does he?”
his words were your final straw.
you grabbed both sides of his face and instantly connected you lips with his. he kissed you back without a second thought, wrapping his arms around your waist. he backed you into the refrigerator as his lips moved perfectly with yours.
his fingers trailed down your hips and to your clothed core. he pulled away from the kiss to look at you, silently asking for permission for him to touch you, and you gave it.
still having you against the refrigerator’s surface, he skillfully moved your bikini bottoms to the side as two of his fingers sunk into your entrance. you were embarrassingly soaked already. you fight back a moan as he pulled out of you, just to slide right back in, hitting the spot he knew you needed.
“all this and i’ve barely even touched you?” he mocked, taking his fingers out of you and bringing them to his mouth. he looked you in the eyes as he sucked your slickness from his fingers. your lips were parted as you watched, desperately needing his hands on you again.
he then picked you up, his hands hooked under your thighs. you giggled as he carried you to the bedroom, kicking the door closed.
he gently placed you on the bed and reconnected his lips with yours, his tongue swiping yours. you reached to work on his belt, swiftly undoing it and pulling it off while never breaking the kiss. you slid his shorts down, his boxers barely hiding his desperation for you.
you palm him through the fabric, eliciting a groan from him against your lips that you needed to hear more of.
you sunk to your knees in front of him, yanking his boxers down and allowing his painfully hard cock to spring free. you took him in your hand, pumping a few times before your tongue poked through your lips to lick a long stripe from the base of his shaft to the tip.
he gently grabbed your hair, trying to pull you away, but you licked him again, which loosened his grip.
“you don’t have to-“ his eyes rolled back as you finally took him all in your mouth, hollowing out your cheeks as you sucked his cock. your hands were placed on his knees. the moan you heard from him encouraged you to keep going, although his tip was hitting the back of your throat and you were trying hard not to gag. “fuck- baby, you don’t have to do this.”
you pull him from your mouth, a string of spit connecting your lips with his tip.
“i want to.” you say before taking him in your mouth again. he tries to keep his eyes locked with yours, but his head falls back in pleasure, his fingers lacing into your hair.
you only knew how to do this because your boyfriend showed you. you had to keep your eyes closed the whole time so you could pretend it was jj.
his breathing was getting heavier with each rise and fall of his chest as soft moans and strings of curses fell from his lips. he couldn’t help but thrust his hips forward, forcing his cock farther into your mouth. there were tears brimming your eyes as you tried to focus on pleasuring him.
“fuck- m’not gonna last much longer like this.” he said.
you kept going, desperately wanting to bring him over the edge, but he pulled your hair back, taking you off of him.
“gotta stop you, princess.” he grabbed your hands and helped you up from your knees. you sat on the bed, pouting. he stood over you, brushing your hair out of your face and noticing your change of attitude. “didn’t wanna cum like that.”
as much as you wished you could make him cum by sucking him off, you couldn’t complain now that he was giving you attention.
his hands guided themselves to your waist, where he then told you to turn around so you were now on your hands and knees, your ass facing him. he was still standing as he held your hips from the edge of the bed. you felt his tip at your entrance.
“this okay?” he asked.
you give him a yes, and then you feel him slowly enter you. it felt so much different than when he had been on top of you before. there was a slight pain due to how much deeper he could push into you from this angle, but the pain melted into pleasure within seconds.
he pulled out just to drive himself back into you. his pace was slow until you adjusted to the position, and then he steadily began going faster. his fingers dug into the sides of your ass, pulling you into him with every thrust.
as he went harder, you gripped the sheets and stuffed your face into the mattress under you, trying to keep yourself quiet, but you couldn’t stop the moans that escaped your lips.
“fuck-“ jj cursed under his breath, his grip on you getting even harder. “feel so good, can’t get enough of this pussy”
his words brought you closer and his pace increased. you could feel him getting tenser, his thrusts getting sloppier.
“could have you like this every day if i could- shit.”
you were almost over the edge, the knot in your stomach threatening to undo.
“fuck- m’gonna cum princess” he moaned.
his last thrusts were deep and slow and they led you into perfect ecstasy. you came undone around his cock, moaning into the sheets right in time for him to pull out and finish on your back- your name leaving his mouth with curses and moans.
your body was limp when he cleaned your back with a towel, still in a haze from your orgasm.
“you okay?” he asked, running a hand down the middle of your back, feeling the ridges of your spine.
you nodded and sat up, grabbing your bikini from the floor and slipping it back on.
“kie is gonna kill me.” you say, slipping your sandals on your feet. “she’s not gonna believe any excuse i try to give her.”
“i’ll drive you down there.” jj offered. “i mean- are your legs alright to walk all the way to the shore or-“
you threw his shirt at his face and scoffed at him.
you had agreed to let him drive you to the beach while you fixed your hair in the visor mirror, trying to make yourself look presentable. although the whole way there you could only think about the words he said while he fucked you. you had no idea if he meant it or if it was just a thing he said in the moment. and this definitely wasn’t going to help save your thoughts about your boyfriend.
a/n: don’t know if i will write a part 3 to this, but requests are open for any jj or rafe fic!

part 3 (final)
“Black or red?” Sophia held the two dresses against herself in turn, eyes scrunched as she considered each carefully.
“I vote red.”
“No, black.”
Elisa and Shay, two of Sophia’s closest friends looked at each other in disapproval after both giving their choice.
“Wait, what are you wearing again, Y/N?” No answer prompts her to turn around. “Y/N?”
“Huh?” You look up, slightly confused. “Sorry, dress, yes, I like both but I think the black will go with the Harry Winston your dad just got you.” The answer rolls off your tongue and you’re grateful that you already had this conversation with Thalia a few weeks back before you’d left for the cruise.
She narrows her eyes at you and you can’t blame her. You’ve been zoning out on her all day.
“Sorry,” you wince, giving her a smile.
“Something on your mind?” Sophia asks, having witnessed this earlier too.
“Not really,” you answer. “Just tired.” It’s not true but you don’t particularly fancy sharing your current dilemmas with the girls despite how great they are at advice. Besides, it’s less than two days till the wedding and you’re not trying to make your problems everyone else’s problems.
Sophia just gives you that look before carrying on as though nothing happened. “What dress are you wearing again? Wasn’t it the same red as this?”
You nod. Your dress for Thalia’s dinner tonight is a simple wine red dress with a tie up back.
“Alright, I’m going for the black one then.” Sophia throws the red one on the bed and hangs the black one up on her mirror.
“Now heels,” she says excitedly. The girls follow her into her closet and you get up too but not to follow.
“I’m gonna go get some water,” you tell them, sticking your head into the door of the closet.
“Can you get me some too?” Sophia asks, eyes scaling the shelves for the perfect heels.
“Sure.”
You walk away from the girls and towards the closest back staircase which would take you directly to the kitchen. It’s on the opposite side of the house, past many of the bedrooms on the third floor, one of which belongs to Alias. A part of you hopes to hear voices in the room, one voice in particular, but you’re only met with silence as you pass.
Deflating a little, you go downstairs to the kitchen. As you approach, you hear voices, Thalia and Alex. They’re standing by the fridge, talking softly to each other as Thalia takes a few drinks from the shelves and Alex places them on a tray behind them on the island.
Alex looks up and smiles when he sees you. “Hey, Y/N.”
Thalia turns around, placing the last of the bottles on the tray. “Finally managed to escape Sophia?”
You laugh, approaching the fridge. “Not yet. I’m just here for some water.”
“She’s still choosing her outfits?” Alex asks, brows raised.
“Yep.”
“But she took forever when she was buying them, why is she still choosing?”
Thalia laughs. “She’s your sister, surely you know better than that by now. She’s got at least three new buys for one event, then she’s got to choose between them and don’t forget about the jewellery, shoes and hair choices that go with them.”
Alex puts his arm around Thalia’s waist. “I think you’re just as bad though.”
“Well why not?” Thalia answers smugly. “It’s just self love.”
“And that’s why I love you.”
You don’t cringe as they smile at each other all smitten, but surprisingly feel a small pang of pain in your chest. Looking away, you take three bottles of water from the fridge.
“Are you going back up there?” Alex asks.
You nod. “She’s almost done.”
Just as Alex nods, another voice enters the conversation.
“Need any help guys?” Jungkook pauses in the doorway the moment he sees you, meanwhile Alex and Thalia exchange sly glances.
“Actually, yes.” Thalia puts down the drinks she’s holding. “Bring the drinks please,” she says, pulling Alex by the hand. “As bride and groom we don’t want to risk any injuries from all the heavy lifting,” she adds, with an air of humour and absurdity which her fiance shares and they don’t wait another second before disappearing from the kitchen. Just like that, you’re left alone with Jungkook.
He looks at you from across the island. “Hey.”
“Hey,” you smile, feeling your lips purse awkwardly.
For a moment, neither of you move and the air is ripe with hesitation. A hundred thoughts cross your mind but not one leaves your mouth. If Jungkook’s mirrored expression is anything to go off of, he’s feeling the same.
Eventually, it’s Sophia’s voice coming from somewhere in the house that snaps you out of it. “Y/N, we’re doing hair now!” she calls, followed by a faint giggle from the girls.
“I’ll just…” you dumbly don’t finish your sentence, instead opting to just point towards the staircase as you turn around and head back towards them.
“Your water.”
Turning around, you see Jungkook is pointing at the three bottles Thalia was taking out for you, left on the corner of the island.
“Oh, right.” You feel your cheeks warming up as you take the bottles, that was silly of you.
Jungkook steps around the island. “Need a hand? I can take them for you.”
“No, I’m good,” you answer, noticing the way he stops immediately in his tracks.
When you look at him, his lips are pursed and he just nods, looking down. You realise he was probably just looking for an excuse to talk and you just shot it down.
Stupidly, you hesitate, and just when Jungkook looks up at you, one of the chefs walks in, greeting you both as she places down a big basket of freshly picked tomatoes right on the island.
Without another word, Jungkook starts placing the drinks on the tray and you turn and retreat back upstairs.
That was so stupid, you think, trudging your way up. Since when has it ever been this awkward between you both? Sure, the last time you spoke wasn’t a good conversation but this is the first time you guys haven’t been able to get past it and it’s becoming almost agonising.
“Worst headache ever.” Alias just manages to raise his head from the table to have a sip of his coffee.
“Take some anadin,” you say, just about managing to sip on your own iced coffee.
“Here.” Elisa puts a blister pack in front of him and Alias groans as he swallows two together.
The whole room around you is a similar scene. Kelce and a few of the other guys are knocked out on the lounge, while you, Alias, Thalia and a few of the other guys are holding strong and knocking back some coffee to help with the hangover. Last night got a little crazy for both parties involved. As expected, Sophia called in the strippers and when the last stripper finally lost his clothes, it was straight tequila shots for the rest of the evening and even Thalia got wasted.
“This is exactly why I don’t drink,” she moans, resting her head on your shoulder.
You laugh, remembering just how many shots she took last night. It’s true that she barely drinks as much as she did, but when Thalia gets drunk, she gets drunk.
“A hen night only happens once.” You remind her of her words and she groans in regret.
“Maybe we should all go dry for a month,” Alias says.
“Oh come on,” Dillon says, taking the Anadin and nudging Alias. “Give it a few hours and you’ll be ready for another round tonight.”
“No way.”
“Yes way.”
“Whatever.”
Thalia laughs from beside you. It’s true, he’ll definitely be knocking back the rounds again tonight. After years of friendship, you know that all it’ll take is a coffee, a balanced meal, a cold shower and two to three hours for the anadin to kick in and Alias will be right as rain for tonight. The same goes for yourself and ideally you’d like to be your best tonight.
This evening is the rehearsal dinner before the big day tomorrow. The house is full of excitement and jittering nerves from some but for the most part it’s just the excitement.
“My sunshines,” comes Alex’s voice from around the corner before he appears. Honestly, all the excitement could be coming solely from him, you haven’t seen him so happy and carefree like you’re experiencing now.
A wide smile plastered across his face, his eyes meet his finances as soon as he comes into view. They share a lingering glance, one full of adoration and content. Since arriving at the house, it was the job of the bride and groom parties to try to keep the bride and groom apart as is the Cirillo family tradition, but it hasn’t been going so great. For starters, the bride and groom parties should’ve been separate since arriving at the house and although none of you have been hanging out together much, you probably shouldn’t all be mingling together right now. No one’s really keeping check though, and Alex and Thalia seem to be doing well to keep to themselves.
“You’re all finally awake,” Alex continues just as Jungkook joins him from around the corner.
He catches your gaze just as Alias replies.
“You actually drank the most last night, why are you so cheerful?” Alias asks in disbelief.
“Maybe because he’s getting married tomorrow,” Elisa laughs.
“Oh, yeah.”
“And I know how to hold my liquor, big brother.”
“And who taught you, little brother?” Alias sasses back.
You’re not paying much attention, still looking at Jungkook.
He smiles at you, a timid smile and he looks away before you can even smile back.
Forcing yourself to look away, you rejoin the conversation that follows but Jungkook takes a seat on the futon on the far end of the room where your back is turned to him.
The next half hour passes in conversation about the plans for tonight; what everyone’s wearing and the weather for tomorrow. With it being summer, the sun is really sun-ing and it’s been perfect. A bit unbearable at times but it’s nothing a portable fan and some shade couldn’t help.
Soon, the clock turns closer to 2pm and you know you ought to start getting ready, as does everyone else since dinner is at 7 sharp tonight. The room starts to empty and you decide to head up too. This way, you can squeeze in a nice nap and have enough time to get ready too.
As you get up from the table, you notice that Jungkook is no longer in the room but you don’t think about it. Maybe after the wedding, you’ll get a chance to speak to him about everything that’s happened between you guys but for now at least, you decide to focus your efforts on Alex and Thalia.
Sophia is still conked out when you get upstairs to her room but you wake her up knowing she’ll want time to freshen up before she needs to start getting ready. Groggily, she sits up in bed and frowns when she sees you back in your pyjamas.
“I’m taking a nap,” you say, answering her question prematurely. “Wake me up in an hour please.”
“Sure,” she croaks, reaching for her stanley.
As she sips on the water slowly, still sitting up in a sleepy haze, you get comfortable beside her and ask Alexa to play some white noise to help drown out everything else. As always, it works like a charm and you’re fast asleep after only a few moments.
“Wine.” Mrs Cirillo glances around, eyes narrowing as she looks at the tables. “We need wine.”
“Are you sure, mom?” Sophia asks, looking around. “There’s plenty to serve already.”
“Sweetheart, have you forgotten what guests we’re serving? There’s lots of family coming too.”
“Oh, right,” Sophia nods. “It’s been a slow day, mom.”
Mr Cirillo isn’t paying attention though, still looking around and she counts something under her breath before releasing a sigh with a frown. “I definitely ordered wine too, where is it?” She pulls out her phone. “Have either of you seen Charlie?”
“Charlie?” you ask.
“He’s the guy in charge of the catering,” Sophia answers for you before answering her mom. “Last I saw he was in the kitchen checking on the canapés, and mom I saw some crates when I was coming down earlier, maybe they’re still there?”
“Would you mind checking, darling? And please ask someone to bring them over if they are?” Mrs Cirillo says, still scrolling through her phone and looking concerned.
You’re sure there’s still 101 other things she’s worried about right now since guests are supposed to be arriving any moment and the wine is just one of those problems. It probably would have been easier if this was a more traditional rehearsal dinner but considering the majority of the guests are from out-of-town, the families thought it discourteous not to invite them tonight.
“We can bring them,” you offer, getting up from your seat.
“Oh, thank you, Y/N. Yes girls, if you could please it would be amazing.” She looks around once more but you can only see the house guests scattered around and no catering or even decor staff in sight. “Actually, find Alias” she says, looking back with a nod. “He can do it, I’m sure he’s in the kitchen stuffing his face anyway.”
“Sure, mom,” Sophia says, getting up with you. “Let us know if you need anything else.”
“Thank you girls,” she answers, attention returning to her phone as you both walk back towards the path that goes around the house to the front.
“I’m calling Alias,” Sophia says, pulling her phone out of her purse. “That doofus is around her somewhere.”
“I think the kitchen probably is our best shot but let’s find the wine first.”
“I’m gonna kill him when I see him though, he should be here already.”
“I’m sure he is,” you laugh, “he was down here two hours ago helping with everything.”
“Still, he knows how stressed mom gets.”
Just as you come around the corner towards the driveway, you spot Alias, sleeves rolled up and helping some of the caterers already.
“Yep, he does,” you answer as you and Sophia come to a pause.
Sophia just shrugs. “It’s the least that’s expected of him.”
“Fair enough,” you shrug too.
You know if Alias was getting married, Alex certainly would’ve been front and centre making sure everything was prepared and perfect for his brother's big day and Alias doing the same is, as Sophia put it, the least that’s expected of him.
Taking a crate of wine from one of the caterers unloading the van, Alias turns and smiles when he sees you both approaching. “Hey, Y/N, and hello princess,” he greets his sister as you both approach. “You finally decided to help.”
“It takes time to look this good,” Sophia says with a tut.
“This is supposed to be good?” Alias teases his little sister.
She simply rolls her eyes, taking a crate herself and you take one too being extra careful with the fairly heavy load. “Just take that inside. The guests are supposed to be here and mom is gonna freak if the wine isn’t sorted.”
“Yeah, caterers were running late but I’ve got some of the guys helping out here and there.”
Right on cue, Jungkook comes strolling out of the house and just like Alias, his sleeves are rolled up too. Why is he so damn good looking? You must really miss him because seeing him now has you feeling a desperate longing to at least just speak to him.
He gives a small smile as he comes out but he could just as easily be looking at Sophia or Alias who are both standing right in front of you.
“Good,” Sophia nods before glancing back at you. She purses her lips and looks back at Alias. “Come on then,” she says, brows raised. I’ll go check on the kitchen if they were all late.”
Without a word, Alias follows and suddenly it’s just you and Jungkook standing still in between the rush of a few panicked catering staff.
Now you’re certain he’s looking right at you and just like that, you can hear your heart beating in your chest. It’s that cursed Jungkook Effect again but this time it feels worse.
“Hey,” he steps forward, smiling hesitantly.
“Hi,” you answer. Consciously, you try to smile but your nerves seem to be running high. Gosh, you hate this. Jungkook is your best friend, it shouldn’t feel like this.
Jungkook steps forward again, walking until all that separates you is the crate you’re holding. You don’t miss the way his gaze skims your figure, looking back at your face by the time he’s in front of you. “Let me take that?” He asks it as a question but takes the heavy wooden box from you anyway, it’s one effortless motion and you feel his fingers brush yours as he does.
He’s looking at you carefully, searching for any clues he can use to dissect how you’re feeling. It makes you self-conscious even though you know Jungkook never has a bad word to say about you, but still, you have so much more to lose now and you’re already at a loss.
“Thanks,” you smile, unable to look away from him despite how you’re feeling. You really have missed him and the past few days have proven to you just how much.
For a moment, neither of you say anything – a thousand unspoken words pass your mind and you feel your pulse rising, ushering you to say something but what? You wouldn’t know where to start, even though you know you want to say something. Anything.
“You look beautiful.” Jungkook’s gaze remains rooted on you as he says it, soft and sure.
Releasing a small breath – perhaps one of relief – you smile. “Thank you.” And just like that, your pulse slows down, your nerves subside and you’re calm.
Focused entirely on you, Jungkook notices the change and reciprocates. His lips curl into a smile, not so big but enough for it to reach his eyes but it’s familiar to you and it’s unexpectedly comforting.“You’re welcome,” he says.
The train of thought in your mind slows down and something about the way Jungkook is looking at you now tells you everything is going to be okay. This must be why, you think, feeling all your worries melt away – it’s no surprise that you’re in love with him, with the way he’s looking at you now, you wonder if he’s always looked at you with this much care and adoration.
For the first time, you see Alex’s point and now you think, was he right?
As though he can read your thoughts, Jungkook’s expression changes and he says your name, pausing with bated breath.
“Yes?”
“Can we talk?”
Suddenly, you’re flustered. “Well, yes, I–now?”
“Um…” Jungkook turns around, looking at the hurried staff and back at the house. “Later,” he says, looking back at you. “After dinner?”
You nod. “Sure.”
“Okay.” He nods too, smiling. “I should probably take this inside now,” he says, still not looking away from you. “But I’ll see you later.”
Again, you nod, and this time you can’t help but laugh, feeling so relieved that things feel more normal than before. His smile grows when he hears you laugh, and he nods once more before turning away and walking back into the house.
“Thank you all for coming tonight and please enjoy the rest of the evening!”
A loud echo of cheers and conversation follows after Mr Cirillo closes off the final speech, with you and your friends included, all raising your glasses before taking a sip of your champagne.
“I can’t believe my baby brother’s getting married,” Alias says, having already emptied his glass. A flute of champagne is a mere two sips to him at most.
“Feeling sentimental big brother?” Sophia asks, smiling.
“You know what? I think I am,” he says, turning to her with a smile. “You better not be next, I’m not ready for you, okay?”
She laughs. “I’m not even dating anyone.”
“Good, keep it that way.” He looks ahead again but puts his arm around his little sister and kisses her forehead.
Neither of them say a word but Sophia lets him pull her in, a grimacing smile on her face. As siblings, the Cirillo’s are rarely physically affectionate with each other, especially these two, so it warms your heart to see it.
“Seems you're not the only one feeling sentimental.” Sophia points at their mom who is hugging Thalia and wiping away a few tears as Alex laughs, no doubt teasing his mom.
“Alright, they're not married yet so no tears tonight guys…” Alias looks at you guys and you all agree.
You look around the table and at Jungkook who sits a few seats away from you on the round table, noticing how he seems so much brighter than before. He looks your way too and you exchange smiles, still timid but no longer anxious.
Just then, ABBA plays loud on the speakers and Alias is ushering everyone up and to the dance floor.
“Okay, hang on,” you laugh as he drags you out. “I need to pee!”
You feel a little bit tipsy having had a few to drink now but Alias holds you and pulls you onto the dance floor. Sophia and Jungkook are right there behind you, as well as Kelce, Shay, Elisa and some of the others. Sophia takes your hand as the pre chorus starts and you all belt out the lines in unison.
There’s not a soul out there, no one to hear my prayers! Gimme, gimme, gimme a man after midnight Won't somebody help me chase the shadows away?!
You get carried away with the chorus, dancing and spinning along as you always do, and just when the chorus plays, Alias takes a hold of you as you dance, swaying you together left and right while you laugh gleefully. Laughing with you, he then not so subtly twirls you in the direction of Jungkook and with a little push, you end up bumping into his chest.
He looks down at you, smiling wide. Still mid-sentence of the song, you laugh and he joins you as you finish the chorus. As the music slows into the next verse, Your friends are still singing and dancing but now, you can only focus on the feeling of Jungkook holding you, one hand on your lower back and the other on your arm.
You know it must be the lights around you but the way his eyes twinkle have you feeling weak in the knees. With a smile still gracing his lips, he tucks a loose strand of hair behind your ears and that’s all it takes for you to feel shy. It would feel silly if the context were different but then his gaze drops to your lips for a second and you suddenly feel butterflies in your tummy as he locks eyes with you again.
The moment is brief and from next to you, your friends start to shout out the lines again and Jungkook and you join in. You feel his hand let go of your arm and as you step to the side, one stays on your lower back but only for a moment.
Sophia catches your eye immediately and grins knowingly before she nods in the direction of the house. You know what she means and as the song comes to an end and the next one starts, you excuse yourself.
“Hey!” Alias calls over the loud music. ”This is your favourite, where are you going?!”
“It’s not mine, it’s my dads,” you laugh.
“Ah, yeah.” Alias, nods, undoubtedly remembering your dad’s 45th birthday party. “Let me find him,” he grins, walking off in the opposite direction.
Jungkook is looking your way as he dances with Dillon and Shay, and you smile before following Sophia as she tugs your hand again.
Many people have had more than a few glasses of wine so you have to excuse yourself as lots of guests bump into you, no doubt enjoying the evening as much as you are.
“What was that?!” Sophia asks excitedly as you both walk up towards the house.
“I don't even know,” you say. Still giddy from all the excitement.
“Has he spoken to you yet?”
“Not yet. He said he would after the party, so I guess I'll just wait for him to come to me.”
“Well, he totally looked like he was gonna kiss you.”
“Sophia!”
“What?” She laughs. “We all know he wants to.”
“Actually we don’t,” you say, somewhat soberly.
It’s true, he said he wants to talk to you but he didn’t say what about. It feels easy to be hopeful that he's going to say what you want him to say and Sophia isn’t wrong – he did look like he wanted to kiss you back there, but still, there’s something stopping you from feeling hopeful.
“Oh, come on, this is the moment we've all been waiting for,” she says excitedly, squeezing your arm.
“Maybe,” you laugh, trying your best to push it to the back of your mind. “But let’s just focus on tonight and make sure you drink some water please.”
‘Oh yeah,” she nods, “can’t be looking glum for tomorrow!”
“No, you can’t.”
She sighs, stopping outside the main bathroom on the ground floor, one of many in the grand estate. “Okay, go, I’m gonna go upstairs.”
“Okay.”
After a moment, you’re drying your hands and stepping out of the bathroom. Sophia’s still not here so you walk towards the staircase just around the corner. Just as you do, she comes down, adjusting her dress as she walks.
“You look lovely,” you reassure her.
“Thanks, boo,” she says, jumping down the last two steps now that she's exchanged her heels for flats.
“Ooh, wait.” You hold her still as you fix her hair parting for her, carefully moving it back to where she initially styled it…
“She’s not here tonight but she’ll be here tomorrow, of course.” Two quiet voices grow louder as they probably walk in the direction of the loo.
“I wonder if they’ll announce themselves as a couple. Jungkook has always seemed to be the more private type.”
Hearing Jungkook’s name makes you pause and Sophia frowns at you but her question is answered as the conversation outside is continued, and she too, goes still as she listens.
“Well, yes, Jungkook is private, but Valentina? She would announce it to everyone if she could.”
What?
“Ah, yes, it’ll probably be all over their social media pages, whatever it is they’re using today.”
“Instagram I believe. In fact, she’s probably already published something. With the way they were kissing for all the world to see as she took him up to her room.”
Your heart drops.
“Oh, I heard, Josepehine said she walked past them as they went into her room and she had no shame, even laughing in front of her as pulled his tie off.”
Now you start to feel sick and the anxiety comes rushing in.
“Kids these days, so different from us.”
“I remember I had to hide it from my parents for months!”
“And they still caught you, ha!”
Together, whoever they are laugh and their voices grow more distant as they pass by.
Sophia’s expression has dropped and she whispers your name.
You stare at her blankly, still processing what you’ve just heard.
“Hey,” Sophia says hushedly, taking your arms, “they don’t know what they’re talking about.” She looks around the corner before looking back at you. “It was just Mrs Morgan and her friend, they’re stupid and love to gossip about anything.”
You can tell she’s trying her best to make you feel better but it won’t work.
“You know what they’re like, they get a tiny hint at anything and they run with it, it’s not true–”
“It is.” Your voice sounds hopeless, even to you.
Sophia pauses, confusion written all over her face. “What?”
“I’m sure of it.” You look up at her, the memory coming back to you.
You were at the party and Alias told you Jungkook was downstairs at the lounge where you'd seen Valentina kissing some guy in the elevator. When Alias told you Jungkook was last at the lounge around the same time, you thought of the possibility then but stopped yourself because how could it be? You could almost laugh at yourself now you’ve heard it from someone else – it must've been true because Jungkook didn't show up once that night, nor did Valentina after you saw her.
Relaying the memory of the night to Sophia in somewhat of a haze thanks to the drinks you’ve had, she simply stares at you for a few seconds before shaking her head.
“No, that doesn't mean anything, Y/N.” She says it so surely and you want to believe her.
“But it would make sense.”
“No, well yes, but even then, actually no,” she says, conflicted, before taking your hands again. “Look, it can't make sense because there is no way Jungkook slept with Val, he’s in love with you.”
You wish you could believe it, especially because you want to. She’s right that it makes no sense and that's considering Jungkook’s character alone – he wouldn’t do that, not to himself and not to you. But right now, tonight of all nights, you don’t want to think about it.
“Let’s get a drink,” you mumble, taking her hand and walking back towards the party.
She follows but her concern remains. “I’ll go talk to him, I know it’s not true–”
“No, not tonight,” you say, shaking your head. “Let’s just focus on the wedding, okay?”
She hesitates before giving in. “Okay, fine.”
It’s a quiet walk back to the garden but Sophia takes you through the house towards the kitchen to get you a drink and then to the path that leads to the poolhouse, avoiding the party. You can still see everything as you walk and you catch a sight of Jungkoook and Alias dancing together. There’s a happy smile on Jungkook’s face that makes you feel a deep sense of longing and just like that, everything hurts again.
Tearing your eyes away from the scene, you keep walking and stop with Sophia by the sunbeds. You sit down, putting your purse next to you as you take a big sip of your drink and she sits in front of you, watching you. “I don’t want to believe it,” you say quietly, after a moment.
“Then don’t. I know I don’t.”
You look at her and see she means it. Tears well unbidden in your eyes and you have to take a deep breath and look up at the night sky to compose yourself. You absolutely refuse to cry any more – it’s stupid and annoying that things keep going in circles like this.
“Oh, Y/N, babe. “ Sophia pulls out some tissue from her purse to give to you and you use them to carefully get rid of the tears.
With another deep breath, you look back at her. “I’m fine, this is all just stupid.”
Just as she’s about to comfort you again, two giggling voices come out of the pool house and you look up to see Alex and Thalia, holding arms and cooing each other as smitten as ever as they walk out.
“Heeey!” Alex calls happily as he sees you both but he halts almost immediately, noticing that you’re not okay. “Hey,” he says again, now with much worry and confusion in his voice as he comes and sits next to you.
Thalia shares the same expression as her fiance and she sits on your other side. “What happened?”
You feel stupid and annoyed at yourself now. The last thing you want is to worry the bride and groom the night before their big day but you also know that they won’t let up now that they’ve seen you. Wordlessly, you look at Sophia and she tells them in a short summary what you just heard.
“I don’t believe it,” Alex says as surely as his sister did.
Thalia takes your hand. “Neither do I. Do you?”
“I don’t know,” you answer honestly.
They all stay quiet for a moment and all you can hear is the music closeby, with your favourite song now playing. You wonder if Jungkook is looking for you, having always known you love to dance when it comes on.
Then Alex gets up. “I’m gonna ask him.”
You get up straight away. “No, please don’t.” You look back at Thalia too. “It’s the night before your wedding, I don’t want to think about it, we can deal with it after.” You look back at Alex. “Please.”
He sighs and Thalia squeezes your hand. “Of course,” she says, reassuring you as you sit back down. In doing so, you miss the look that Alex gives Sophia and the silent exchange that the two siblings share as she nods her head in the direction of the party.
“Alright, but I’ll get you another drink,” he says.
Mindlessly, you nod, too distracted to realise that your glass is still half full. As he walks off, Sophia moves next to you too.
“Do you want to talk about it?” Thalia asks, rubbing your back soothingly.
“Not really,” you say. “I don’t think I should even be upset over it, it’s completely one-sided and he never said anything for me to believe otherwise.”
Thalia is about to say something and you’re sure she’s about to use the same argument that Sophia gave earlier – he’s in love with you so he wouldn’t sleep with someone else – but she stops herself and you’re kinda grateful for it. You don’t need to hear that he loves you when he hasn’t even said it to himself.
The look on his face when you danced together returns to your mind and you feel your chest tighten. You really thought that was the look of someone in love but you must’ve been wrong.
“You’re allowed to be upset,” Sophia says, “but don’t be until you know what actually happened.”
Quietly, you sigh.
“She’s right,” Thalia agrees. “I know what you heard makes sense to you but it’s not something Jungkook would do.”
“I know,” you exhale, confused and now tired. “But how could I know for sure? He’s barely been talking to me since that night with Lawrence.”
“True,” Sophia nods. “That’s kind of silly of him.”
“Right?” you say, feeling a multitude of emotions now. “And even then, I did try to make things okay but he wasn’t listening to me.”
“You mean when he kept saying you should go out with Lawrence?”
“Yeah, like, why would he not just listen to me?!” you ask, now adding irritated and exasperated to your exhaustive list of emotions.
“True,” Sophia agrees. “Honestly, guys are just dumb.”
“They are,” Thalia agrees. “And truthfully,” she adds, glancing at you. “They’re even more dumb when they’re in love.”
You look at her as Sophia just hums in approval. “Whatever,” you sigh, shaking your head. “Thanks guys but I’m just not gonna think about it until after tomorrow.” You smile at them.
Although they can see right through you, they don’t press it further.
“You still wanna dance?” Sophia asks, a playful lilt to her voice as she nudges you.
You’re about to say no but the last thing you wanna do is be the reason your friends don’t have fun tonight. Sophia is the groom’s sister but she’s also your best friend and you know if you choose to retire she would join you so you don’t have to be alone, and Thalia would worry about you all night too.
“Sure,” you nod with a bigger smile. “But another drink first,” you say, downing what’s left in your glass now that the blissful effects of your previous drinks seem to have worn off.
Sophia laughs, getting up. “Of course.”
Together, you walk back up the path, Sophia changing the subject to what Thalia was doing with Alex in the pool house.
“We didn’t do anything,” she laughs. “We just wanted some alone time.”
“You’re about to marry the guy, that’s the rest of your life with him.”
Thalia smiles. “Still couldn’t be enough.”
Sophia laughs. “Okay, I don’t know whether to be cringed out because that was actually cute.”
“It is cute. I’ve put it in my vows too actually,” Thalia says, proud.
“I can’t wait to hear them,” you tell her. “I’ll probably cry too.”
“Not more than my brother,” Sophia says. “Alex almost cried seeing you today, Thalia.”
“He told me, but honestly I think I’ll be crying myself, I just hope I don’t ruin my makeup.”
“Who did you book for it?” you ask.
The conversation shifts to makeup artists and hair stylists as you all take a few more drinks and together make your way over to the dessert table. You don’t have much of an appetite so you’re about to reapply some lip gloss only to realise you left your purse on the sunbed.
“You want some, Y/N?” Thalia holds out a plate for you but you decline.
“I’m alright, I’m just gonna go get my purse, guys, I left it on the sunbed.”
Sophia looks back at you as she takes a macaron. “Want me to come with?”
“No, all good, I’ll be back in a minute,” you say, already walking off in the opposite direction, past the crowd surrounding the desserts table and onto the path that leads away from the party.
“Tell me it’s not true.”
Alex’s voice is the first thing Jungkook hears before he even turns around.
“Hey,” he smiles, holding out the drink he’d just picked up for himself, only to frown when he sees his friend's expression.
“Please.”
Jungkook has only seen Alex annoyed a handful of times over their decade long friendship and right now, Alex looks pretty close to being annoyed. “What are you talking about?” he asks, concerned.
Alex glances around. There’s no one nearby who could overhear since they’re standing at a drinks table close to the house with only servers around, but Jungkook moves himself anyway.
Putting his glass down, he walks away from the table and Alex walks with him. After a few yards when there’s definitely no one in earshot, Alex stops.
“On the cruise,” he starts, looking straight at his friend. “Did you sleep with Valentina?”
Jungkook looks startled and equally offended. “What? Of course not!” he answers immediately, now with increasing concern.
Alex shares the same concern, evident in his tone. “Then why do people think you did?!”
“I don’t know! Where is this coming from?!”
“Some of the other guests were talking about it.”
“Which guests? How would they know anything and why would they lie?!”
“I don’t know,” Alex sighs, shaking his head. “They must be confused.”
“How did you hear it? Who said it? I can talk to them,” Jungkoook says, already looking around at the people scattered across the expanse of the garden.
Alex pauses, biting his lip. “Sophia overheard them.”
Jungkook goes still. That means… “And… has Y/N…?”
Alex nods, lips pursed before Jungkook even finishes his sentence. “They were together.”
Jungkook stares at his friend completely confused as a hundred thoughts race through his mind – all of them stop at you. “Fuck,” he sighs. “Did she believe it?”
“I’m not sure, but she said she saw Valentina in the lounge, kissing someone going into the elevator. She couldn't see their face and then a few hours later, she was looking for you and some of the guys told her you were in the lounge… the same time–”
“The same time she saw Valentina,” Jungkook exhales slowly, feeling deflated. “I keep fucking up,” he says quietly after a moment. “I should’ve just told her the truth.”
“Which is?” Alex asks, despite already knowing the answer.
Jungkook finds a small smile on his lips even given the direness of the situation. “I love her.” He says it once and then smiles a bit wider.
Alex finds himself suddenly grinning. “I knew it.”
Jungkook chuckles. “Was I that obvious?”
“To everyone but her, my friend.” Alex looks at Jungkook, brows raised.
Just like that, Jungkook knows what he needs to do. “Help me find her.”
You’re grateful you’re only wearing kitten heels as you walk along the path but it would’ve been a better idea to change into flats like Sophia did, especially since tomorrow you’ll be in high heels for the better portion of the day.
“Y/N!”
Someone calls your name and you pause, turning around.
It’s Jungkook. He’s jogging to catch up with you from the rest of the party. He must be coming to talk to you now that the night is coming to an end soon. Given how fast he is, it’s only a few short seconds before he’s in front of you, breathing a bit faster but not out of breath thanks to his perfect stamina.
You don’t know how you should be feeling right now. A part of you is angry at him for everything that has happened – you didn’t ask to start a fake relationship with him only for him to be the one to tell the truth about it because he thought you should be talking to Lawrence instead. And sure, you agreed to the fake relationship, but you’re not the reason for everything that came after and even though Jungkook had good intentions, he did disregard your feelings when you told him multiple times that you don’t like Lawrence romantically at all anymore. Sure, he couldn’t know it was because you have feelings for him instead, but that doesn't mean it was justified.
Another part of you just wants to have things go back to how they were because you really do miss your best friend and there’s nothing more you want than to have him back.
Then there’s the part of you that wonders if he really slept with Valentina. You could believe it, it all adds up and despite how unreliable the source is, you did see Valentina with someone, who now when you think about it, looked very much like Jungkook. The thought of it makes your stomach churn.
“Jungkook, I don’t wanna talk right now,” you mutter, turning away.
“Wait, I really–”
“What?” you say, turning abruptly and stopping Jungkook from reaching for you. Immediately, you recoil, feeling bad. “Sorry.” You didn’t mean for it to come out like that.
“It’s okay,” Jungkook says, now hesitating.
The look on his face makes you feel even worse than before and you swallow hard. You’re still mad at him so without another word, you turn and walk away, and this time, Jungkook doesn’t stop you. With every step you take a deep breath and calm yourself down, and then–
“Do you honestly believe it?”
You stop in your tracks. Slowly, you turn around. “What?”
He watches you carefully. “Do you really believe it? That I–,” he pauses, sighing. “That I slept with Valentina?”
You notice that he sounds hurt that it’s something he even has to ask you, and still, hearing it from him hurts far more. “What else am I supposed to believe?” you ask, feeling your walls crumbling but your tone remains rather defensive. “You never said anything otherwise.”
After your many years of friendship, Jungkook knows you and he knows that right now, you’re mad at him but you just need an answer. He knows you have every right to be annoyed at him because he hasn’t been honest with you about anything and it’s because of him that all of this happened in the first place.
“I’m telling you now,” he says, taking a step forward. “It’s not true.” He sees your expression flicker but nothing more. “Nothing happened, I literally spoke with her for five minutes that night before she went back to her room with some other guy.”
Relief — that’s the first thing you feel as you exhale a breath you didn’t even know you were holding. “Okay?” You shrug, suddenly not sure what to say or do now he’s revealed the truth – you didn’t think this far ahead, having only thought of the worst. “Good for you,” you carry on, crossing your arms. “I don’t care anyway.”
“Yes you do,” Jungkook says, plain as day.
You flare, albeit lightly.
Traces of a smile appear on his face and he carries on. “You do care,” he says, stepping forward slowly, this time without stopping. “And I’m sorry you had to hear it how you did, I know I’d feel shit if I heard the same thing about you.”
What? You’re trying to figure it out – does he know?
Jungkook sighs, smile growing and he stops close to you. You almost step back but stop yourself. He looks down at you with a familiar adoration in his expression.
Softly, he says your name. “You’ve been my best friend for years now, how long has it been since I’ve even looked at anyone else, yet alone slept with them?”
Saying nothing, you shake your head with a small shrug. A long time.
“Heck, I don’t even know myself,” Jungkook laughs softly. “All I know is that for me, my attention was always somewhere else.”
Your head tilts, brows creasing just slightly. “What are you saying?” you ask, feeling your heart rate speed up as you wait for the answer you want more than anything to hear.
Jungkook’s eyes roam your face for a second, the smile still carved on his lips and he exhales. “I’m in love with you.” You feel his fingers curl around your palms as he takes your hands. “I’m in love with you and I have been for a long time, longer than I even know.”
You say nothing, lips parted as though you want to but nothing comes out as no complete thoughts form in your head. You just feel your heart hammering in your chest and a fuzzy wave of warmth rushes ripples through you.
“I…”
“You don’t have to say anything now,” he says, “I just had to tell you, and again, I'm sorry.”
You’re grateful that you’re standing close enough to the dance floor because if it weren't for the music playing you're sure he would be able to hear how loud your heart is beating in your chest.
“Y/N!” Another voice calls your name from close by. It’s your mom.
Jungkook turns around, letting go of your hands and she waves when she sees you, smiling as she approaches. “Darling, come take a photo with your father and I,” she grins, completely unaware she’s interrupting anything. “Jungkook, you look dashing,” she smiles at him as she takes your hand. “Nice to see you two have made up from whatever you were arguing about too,” she says, looking at you in question but she doesn't wait for a response from him. Her giddiness tells you she’s had more than her usual liquor intake.
Still reeling from what Jungkook just told you, you just nod and follow wordlessly as she pulls you towards your dad.
“Ah, there she is, my beautiful daughter,” he beams, “come here.”
You wish you could be more present as your parents share a sweet moment of appreciation for you, but you just smile and nod, hugging and kissing them in return as you all take a bunch of selfies together. Your smile is genuine enough though, Jungkook’s confession replaying over and over in your head as it becomes more real.
He loves me.
“Mom, dad,” you say, interrupting them both as they play around with some filters.
“Yes, honey,” they respond in unison, still slightly distracted.
“Um… Jungkook told me he loves me.”
Both your parents' heads snap up together and you see the biggest smile on your moms face and a look of pure surprise on your dads.
“That kid finally did it,” you hear him say quietly to himself as his expression changes to a smile.
“He did?” your mom cries excitedly, squeezing your arm. “What did you say?”
“Well, you called me then to come here–”
“What?” your dad interrupts, disappointed. “Oh, honey, we’re sorry.”
“It’s okay, I can find him now, but dad…” you frown, thinking about what he just said to himself. “Did you know?”
Your dad shrugs with a smirk. “I had a feeling. A strong one.” He nods in your moms direction and she smiles proudly. “Your mom did too.”
You can't help but laugh. “Everyone apart from me it seems.”
“Well go find him now then,” your mom ushers.”Want me to help you?”
“It’s okay.” Getting up, you kiss both of their cheeks before turning away to go and find Jungkook.
Many of the guests have returned to their hotels or homes now and it’s much easier to find someone from across the garden. As you get closer to the house, you see Thalia and Sophia sitting on the veranda and they grin when they see you coming.
“So,” Thalia says as they sit on the seats in front of you. “Jungkook found you?”
You look at her and Sophia, unable to contain your happiness. “He said loves me,” you say out loud.
They look surprised for a split second before squealing in excitement.
“He finally told you?”
“This is so exciting”
“Mhm,” you nod, laughing. You’re sure they must’ve already heard it from Jungkook first, given their expressions when you approached, but you appreciate their excitement nonetheless.
“What did you say?”
“I didn’t.” I should have. “My mom came.”
“Oh.” Their expressions have dropped ever so slightly and you feel it.
“I should have, right?”
“Well, maybe something but your mom came so it's fine,” Sophia says. “Find him now.”
You’re just about to spring into action when THalia stops you.
“The guys have all gone upstairs, Jungkook too,” she says, frowning apologetically. “We’re not supposed to see any of them until the ceremony tomorrow.”
“That's a family tradition,” Sophia says, waving her hand. “But we have an exception here.”
You wish more than anything to see Jungkook now but you also don't want to disrespect their family – you know the kids won't mind but perhaps Mr and Mrs Cirillo, and Thalia’s parents.
“No, it's fine,” you say, smiling reassuringly. “It's just one day, and at least I know the truth now.”
“Fair enough,” they agree.
“Wow, we might have another wedding again next year now,” Sophia grins, winking at you.
You laugh, feeling a wave of joy as you lean back into the cushions and tell the girls exactly how your conversation with Jungkook went.
“You may now kiss the bride.”
Laughter and cheer erupts around you as Alex ever so sweetly kisses his bride, cheeks cupped in his hands. It’s a lingering kiss, a sweet one and it has your heart about to burst with joy.
Across from you, Jungkook is laughing too, cheering for his best friend and he catches your eye for the nth time now and grins, making you smile even wider.
As the bride and groom depart for their photographs, Sophia drags you to the bar and you both get a drink while recapping the events of the morning and then she gets summoned away for the family photos which must mean that the groomsmen are done with their pictures too.
“I’ll come with you.”
“Of course you will,” she laughs, knowingly. “Does this mean you're finally gonna tell him you love him too?”
“I think so,” you grin. “As long as I don't chicken out.”
“You better not, otherwise I’ll tell him for you.”
“Don't worry. I don't think I will.”
“Well definitely not, I know you're so gonna get laid tonight.”
“Hey” you laugh. “I mean it would be nice but I don't care either way.”
“That's sweet, she says, “but please, don't be coy. After all this waiting it would be an injustice to not get laid.”
Suppressing a laugh, you nod. “Okay, noted.”
As you approach the quiet gardens, you spot some of the other groomsmen, Alias included, but not Jungkook. Alias sees you and answers your question before you can even ask it. “He went to look for you.”
Ah,” you nod. “Thanks.”
Saying a temporary goodbye, you walk in the opposite direction away from the gardens and back towards the venue. It's so beautiful here with tall oak trees spread across the lush and perfectly manicured grounds surrounding the elegant mansion. You’re momentarily distracted by the views that you don't notice jungkook as he walks out from around the mansion, smiling as he approaches.
When you do spot him, he’s stopped in the path ahead of the fountain, holding his own bouquet of flowers in front of his chest. Smiling, you approach him slowly. “Hey.”
“Hey,” he says, unable to fight back his smile.
You stop in front of him, as close as he was to you yesterday and gaze at him.
“You look beautiful,” he says quietly. “Again. You look beautiful everyday,” he adds with a shake of his head.
“Thank you. You look pretty handsome today too.”
“Thanks.” He looks down shyly, lowering the bouquet. “These are for you.”
Looking down at the bouquet, it’s full and in bloom of all your favourite flowers and you know that’s not a coincidence. “They’re lovely.” Taking them from him, you admire them a little longer before looking back up.
“I'm glad you like them. He takes them back from you and places them on the bench beside you.
You’re confused for a second but when he turns back, he wraps both arms around your waist and pulls you into him, head burying into your neck. Muscle memory serves you well as you melt into his embrace, his scent engulfing you as your arms wrap around his neck as his chest presses flush against you.
He hums softly and you reckon you could stay here forever. Now you wonder, how did you never realise you were in love with him? Why did it take all of this unnecessary awkwardness and distance for you to know why you’ve always been so unavailable to others? Jungkook has always been the one person whose company you've craved when no matter what the occasion and the only one who really feels like home.
“I missed you,” you murmur, fingers gently moving across his neck as you move.
He keeps you close, arms tight around you. “I know, me too.” His eyes dip to your lips.
“Let's never do that again.”
“Agreed,” he nods, smiling with a wince. “Even though I know it was really my fault.”
“Oh, 100%” you say, feeling the space between you grow smaller and smaller. “All your fault.”
Now, you're looking at his lips.
Jungkook notices and he moves his hand up, slowly sweeping your neck until he’s cupping your cheek in his broad palm, the other arm still holding you tight. He smiles ever so slightly, and when you look up, you can see he’s waiting for something for you. So you nod, and that's all he needs.
He closes the space between you, lips meeting yours in a gentle brush once. Lips parted, you pull away briefly, moving your hand up to cradle his jaw before leaning in again for a more deliberate kiss. He hums, softly, and returns for more, one by one getting longer and more keen. The seconds melt away into minutes and you don't quite know how long you were standing here for, you only know that it feels perfect.
“I love you,” Jungkook murmurs, pecking your lips once more, then your nose and forehead.
You squeeze your arms around his waist. “Say it again.”
He chuckles, sweeping your hair back to kiss your cheek. “I love you,” he murmurs low into your ear, hot breath warming your skin. “I love you, I love you, I love you so much, princess.”
Biting your lip, you find yourself suddenly feeling something you haven't felt in a long time, except recently that night in bed with him on the cruise – a feverish desire for more.
Holding his face in front of you, you kiss his lips. “I love you too.”
He blinks, endearingly. “I was waiting for that.”
You sigh with an air of amused disappointment. “Why couldn't we have just realised sooner? It would have made our lives so much easier.”
“I think I always knew actually.” He takes your hand and you sit down at the bench. “At least for a long time, I knew there was something.”
“Really?”
He hums, putting his arm around you and you lean into him. “I just didn't really let myself think about it much though, I didn’t wanna change things in case you didn't feel the same, which Ii don't think you did.” he thinks out loud, honestly.
For a moment, you're quiet. “I did.”
He looks at you.
“I don't know from when, but I think I just didn't realise.” Playing with the ring on his finger, you smile. “I probably should have just listened to Alex from the start.”
“Alex?”
“Mhm,” you nod. “He’d been telling me for months that you were into me, I just didn't see it.”
“Ah,'' Jungkook nods, pink tingeing his cheeks as he looks down.
“But now we’re good,” you say, cocking your head and smiling.
“Now we’re good,” he repeats, sealing his sentence with a kiss.
The evening reception goes on late into the night, later than you expect it to. It’s 8pm by the time all the guests turn up and within the next two hours, you've gone through all the emotions thanks to a round of heartfelt speeches from all the family and friends. Alias and Sophia’s speech made you tear up the most and you didn't even dare look in a mirror knowing your makeup is probably already so far beyond repair but luckily Sophia has magic hands and has a technique to apply concealer over powder, so not all was lost.
Except now you can feel yourself tearing up again as Alex and Thalia have their first dance, gazing lovingly at each other while Etta James’ At Last plays in the background with a live band.
“They’re so perfect together,” you murmur, leaning your head back against Jungkook’s shoulder as you watch them from a raised platform close to the band.
He wraps his arms a little tighter around your waist. “Are we perfect together?”
“Of course,” you grin, looking up at him.
He wrinkles his nose, about to lean in to kiss you when someone coughs quietly next to you. Turning around, you see Valentina with a drink in her hand, coughing again as though she was just choking.
“Are you okay?” You take her drink from her.
“Fine,” she says, waving a hand as she clears her throat and straightens up. “I was actually coming over here to congratulate you since you’ve evidently made up now and have finally realised you’re both stupid in love with each other.”
Jungkook and you smile sheepishly.
“Then I heard you talking and gosh…” Valentina winces, although her eyes twinkle with amusement as she looks back and forth between you. “You really are disgustingly cute together.”
You let out a snort of laughter. “Thanks, Val.”
You feel Jungkook caress the small of your back. “Thanks.”
“Yeah.” She swiftly retrieves her drink from you. . “I’m glad you worked it out. See you later, guys.” She struts off, as perfect as she always is and disappears into the crowd.
The band closes off the song and everyone applauds, cheering for the happy couple. Then, the familiar melody of Elvis Presley Can't Help Falling In Love starts to play.
“Wanna dance?”
Scanning the crowd, you consider it. Mrs Cirillo is going around, inviting people to the dance floor, pulling some too.
“I feel kinda shy.”
“What?” Jungkook steps next to you, taking your hand. “Why?”
“I don't know,” you laugh. “It’s fine, lets go.”
“You sure?” Jungkook furrows his brows. “We don't have to.”
“No, I want to,” you reassure him.
Just then, someone approaches from behind Jungkook. “Just who I wanted to see.” Mrs Cirillo is beaming as she approaches you. “I knew you two would fall in love eventually.” She takes your hands and pulls you to the centre of the dance floor. “I just don’t know why it took you so long,” she says before kissing your cheek, then Jungkook’s. “Bless you both,” she grins, before she’s off again.
“I guess we have no choice now.” You step closer to Jungkook and he pulls you in by the waist as your arms hang loosely over his neck. Neither of you say anything as the song plays, the words speaking volumes for you instead – as cheesy as it may seem.
Take my hand Take my whole life, too For I can't help falling in love with you
Fittingly, Jungkook breaks out into a cheesy smile and you both laugh. He pulls you in and together, you share your first dance as a couple. “So,” Jungkook clears his throat, “just to clarify, in case it wasn’t clear, you’re my girlfriend now.”
You feign surprise. “I am?”
Jungkook pouts his lips, his expression a mix of amusement and mock annoyance. “Don’t be mean.”
Giggling, you kiss his cheek.”Ask me nicely.”
Jungkook sighs dramatically but plays along with a smirk. “Princess, would you please do me the honour of being my girlfriend? So I can love you and spoil you forever?”
With a smug grin, you nod. “Of course.”
“Just don’t be that annoying couple who do everything together,” Alias’s voice comes from behind you. Turning around, you see Alex, Thalia and Sophia having gathered too, all wearing knowing smiles.
“Weren’t they always that annoying couple?” Alex says, brows arching as he smiles as smug as when he first saw you and Jungkook walking into the hall together holding hands. Being the groom on his wedding day, he never got to say anything to you then, but you knew he knew as he nudged Thalia and gestured to your direction. She looked like she was about to cry when she saw you together, though you suppose she was already feeling emotional from the ceremony prior. Still, it was heartwarming to see your friends so happy for you.
“That’s true,” Thalia agrees.
“At least this time they won’t be sulking around and pining over each other,” Sophia banters.
Alias cringes in jest. “No, instead they’ll be wearing matching pyjamas, or worse yet, slippers.”
He’s definitely referring to the matching sweaters you got for Jungkook and yourself last year – and that was before you were a couple.
“Can’t forget the His and Hers mugs,” Jungkook amuses them as they all groan playfully.
Entertained, you join in. “Oh and the keychains,” you add. “Jewellery too.”
“I’ve already ordered matching charm bracelets,” Jungkook winks.
“Alright, we’ve heard enough,” Sophia laughs.
Alias clicks his tongue. “I definitely know what you two are getting for Christmas this year.”
“But–” Sophia wags her finger between you both, “–just give us a heads up if there’s any proposals on the horizon, I can’t do another wedding cruise single.”
Alias raises a finger. “I second that.”
Jungkook takes the lead as he responds. “Will do, but don’t take too long.” He has a mischievous glint in his eye and squeezes your hand. ‘I know I’m not.”
The fact that you’re not surprised by his answer is what actually surprises you. Smiling, dazed, you simply close your eyes as he pecks your cheek.
Meanwhile, Thalia squeals, excited, as Alex pats Jungkook’s arm, laughing as he encourages him.
His brother on the other hand, groans, though there’s a heavy tone of cheerfulness in his voice as he pretends to complain, “they’ve already started.”
Sophia blinks, “I wish I could be grossed out but damn it, I’m not.”
If it weren't for you being on cloud nine right now, you might actually feel sorry for making your friends put up with all of this cringeness, but as it so happens, you're revelling in it. “You might wanna get used to it, guys.” You pull Jungkook in closer, returning to a slow dance as the next song plays. After exchanging a few more playful words, Jungkook and you are left alone again, dancing to the music.
“You meant that?” you ask.
Jungkook doesn’t miss a beat. “Yes. If you’re sure you want it too.”
Gaze locked on him, you nod. “How could I not?”
As Jungkook's smile lights up, he places a soft kiss on your lips, so soft that it barely feels like it happened. Hand on the back of his neck, you push down and keep him three for another. He obliges, letting you kiss him freely for all the world to see and quite frankly, you probably forget about your surroundings a bit too soon.
“Mm, wait.” You pull back, taking a deep breath. “Let’s pause,” you say, continuing to dance along with everyone else.
Jungkook’s eyes go round. “Why? You okay?”
“Yeah, I just… um…” You press your fingers into your palm, exhaling as you look down. “I’ll want more if we keep going.” You feel slightly embarrassed as you mumble out your response but Jungkook’s immediate reply makes you look up, surprised.
“Me too.”
“Really?”
“Of course,” he chuckles, pulling in his lower lip with his teeth as he comes to a slow stop and looks at you.
“What?”
“Let's get a drink,” he says, not even waiting for you to respond. There are more people dancing now so he weaves you through them, over to the mostly empty tables. Then towards the double doors leading into the rest of the mansion.
Huffing, you try your best to keep up. “I thought we were getting a drink.”
“No, I just said that.” He continues leading you as he walks through the corridors you hadn’t previously seen.
“Where are you going, Koo?”
“I went past it somewhere,” he says, talking more to himself as he keeps walking past a few doors, peering in each one as he does.
“Where?”
“Ah.” He stops, pulling you through a door. He lets go of your hand as he goes to close the door behind him.
Looking around the dimly lit room with only a small window on the far right, you narrow your eyes in confusion. There’s tall racks with coats and hats and other items, lined up along the walls and two others in the centre of the room. A single desk and chair is in one corner, multiple tags arranged in a box amongst a few other neatly placed items of stationary. “A cloak room?” you ask, dubiously, turning around. “Why are we–”
Jungkook kisses you – hard. Hands circling your waist, he’s stepping forward until you're backed up into a wall. One hand finds your cheek, thumb caressing your cheek sweetly while he tugs on your lower lip between his teeth.
“Oh,” you sigh out loud, now realising. “Cloak room,” you say, dumbly.
“Uh-huh,” he purrs, lips moving to your jaw. “Couldn’t help myself.”
His hot breath sends shivers down your spine, hips arching against the wall. “That-that’s totally okay.”
“You sure?” His tongue swipes just under your jaw, close to your ear, oh so delicately.
“Absolutely.” Grabbing his face, you kiss him hard again, taking pleasure in every second that passes with his lips on yours.
Opening wider, his tongue darts across yours, the salacious act leaving you desperate for more. You deepen the kiss, fingers curling in his hair as your hips involuntarily push forward again and this time, Jungkook reciprocates, pressing hard against you so you can physically feel just how bad he wants this. His bulge gets you right where it feels good and you falter, knees going weak as one gives way.
Jungkook holds you tight, laughing softly, “That good, huh?”
“Duh.”
He kneels down, taking your ankle and lifting your heel to his thigh. “You're so pretty,” he says, more to himself than you. He takes your shoes off, right one first, then the left. With your foot still resting on his thigh, he looks up at you, hand slowly caressing your skin as he moves towards your inner thigh.
Even without the heels, you still feel your knees going weak but it feels so good. He watches your lips part, breaths picking up as you try your best to stay patient. “Please do something, Koo.”
“Patience, princess,” he teases and you whine, prompting him to laugh. “Okay.” Acquiescing, he turns his head, placing a rousing kiss on your skin. “So soft,” he murmurs, between kisses. “So perfect.” You want him so bad. “All mine.” With every touch of his lips, his mouth inches closer to where you want him, slowly but surely. Goosebumps prickling your skin, you release short soft breaths and will yourself to be patient.
Jungkook hums, nipping you with light force. “Feel good?” His tone tells you he’s tortured by his own pace as much as you are.
“Yes.”
He looks up, eyes glazed over with a hunger for more. “Tell me what you want.” His fingers brush your sex, barely.
“Touch me, please.”
He brushes you again, fingers working their way over your damp underwear. “Like this?” He revels in your soft whimpers.
“More.”
In one swift motion, he pulls your underwear down and reveals everything. You don’t feel shy in the slightest, especially not with the way he’s looking at you. “So pretty.” Fingers sliding over your wet lips, he exhales before he smacks you lightly. “And all mine.”
You whine, moving your hips again to remind him of your needs and he doesn’t make you wait this time. Collecting your slick on his fingers as he moves them back and forth, he then uses his thumb to stroke your clit, the contact making your knees buckle again.
Jungkoook grabs your left leg and places it over your shoulder as he repositions himself for better access. “Such a pretty girl,” he murmurs. “Bet you taste so good as well.”
“Why don't you find out?”
“Mm, I will,” Jungkook chuckles, sliding one finger inside you. “Not just yet.”
“Oh.” Your hand falls to his shoulder, digging in hard.
He stretches you, watching as you react. Once he’s sure you're good, he adds a second finger, stroking exactly where it feels good.
“Please don’t stop.”
He grips your thigh, holding you up well. “I won’t.” Leaning in, his mouth makes contact with your clit and you mewl under his touch. He’s slow with it first, sucking and circling lightly and you want more. Under the soft silk of your dress, your nipples harden and you reach for one, toying with yourself. Seeing this, Jungkook groans. “That's it baby, touch yourself more.”
Obeying, you pull the straps off your shoulder and let the top of your dress fall, gathering around your waist where you hold it out of Jungkook’s way. His soft moan as you touch yourself tells you he’s enjoying it and as his fingers grip you harder, he starts to flick your clit.
“Oh, that’s it.” It's all you need to feel yourself reaching an orgasm, teetering on the edge as he adjusts his pace. “Please, I’m so close.”
“Yeah?”
“Yes.”
“I wanna hear you.” He fingers you harder as his tongue works overtime to get you to come and it works — in a rippling wave, your orgasm washes over you and all you can do is moan as pleasure courses through you. Jungkook keeps you up, slowing down once the peak has passed. He withdraws his fingers and you make sure to steady your legs as he stands. “You're so hot,” he says, looking at you in complete adoration and lust.
Feeling flushed, you manage to smile. “Thanks. Now my turn, please?”
Jungkook chuckles, stepping forward. “I don't think I can be that patient, princess.” As he presses against you, you can feel him a lot more than you could before.
“Oh.”
He tilts his head, hand brushing your chin as he pulls your lips to his. You can taste yourself as he kisses you, tongue stroking yours in tandem motion while he uses his other hand to caress your breasts, moulding the soft flesh before pinching your nipples between his thumb and forefinger. It rallies up arousal for more but your first priority is him.
“Why are your clothes still on?” You question out loud, having just now realised.
Jungkook suppresses a chuckle, lips quirking into a smile as you make quick work of his tie and shirt.
Your hands roam the expanse of his broad, muscular chest. “Much better.” You only take a moment to appreciate the tattooed eye candy before pulling him back in for another sensual kiss, driven by your desire to make him feel good now, Fingers deftly undo his zipper and within seconds, your hand is slipping past his boxers and gripping his length. The girth alone has your pussy throbbing again. Jungkook releases a low sigh, his kisses becoming more insistent as you pull his cock out of his pants and play with him.
With a slow swipe of your thumb over his head, Jungkook moans, teeth tugging on your lips and you drag your hand up and down his length, faster each time.
“Let me have a taste, please.”
“Fuck,” he sighs. Looking at your pleading face, he agrees.
You drop to your knees in an instant, letting your dress fall entirely as you go. Without wasting any time, your mouth is on his cock, tongue swirling his red, leaking tip before you move your head.
“You’re gonna kill me,” he says, voice strained as he looks down at your naked form below him.
Focused on his cock and eager to please, you just hum in response and keep going while he gently moves your hair back, gripping it behind you and you have to squeeze your thighs together in an attempt to ease yourself to the sound of his soft grunts and groans. As they get louder, you grip his thighs and take him as deep as you can. Despite trying not to choke, you cough a little and Jungkook moves back, pulling himself out of your mouth.
“You good?”
“Great,” you nod, trying to go back in.
Jungkook chuckles, pulling you up before you can get there. “I can’t wait any longer.” His pupils are blown out with carnal desire but his tone is otherwise gentle and affectionate. “Can I please fuck you?”
“You don't have to ask me twice.”
He pulls a condom out of his pocket, tearing the wrapper with his teeth.
Seeing this, your brow arches. “How do you have that?”
Jungkook pauses, looking slightly embarrassed. “Alias,” he says, more in a hushed whisper.
Pursing your lips together, you refrain from laughing. “Alias?”
Jungkook nods, placing the condom on while he explains. “He gave it to me just when we got here before you guys did. He said, and I quote, if there was ever a good time to declare my love for you in its physical form, it's a wedding.”
Shaking your head, you laugh again. “He would know.”
“Oh I know,” Jungkook nods. Alias has a bit of a reputation for being a womaniser on steroids when it comes to weddings.
“I’m glad he gave it though,” you shrug, pulling Jungkook closer.
“Me too.” His lips find yours again, starting off sweet and slow. Hands circling your waist, he lifts you and your legs wrap around him instinctively. He takes his shirt from the rack you’d flung it towards earlier and walks you towards the desk in the corner and you use the chance to tease him, breaking away to kiss his ear and nibble his lobe.
“You sure you wanna do that?” he chuckles darkly.
“Very.”
He throws his shirt down on the desk before placing you on top. “You sure?” His fingers find your sex, gliding through your cum.
Dazed, you nod.
He takes his cock in one hand and spreads your legs with the other. With a small step forward, he pushes his head into your clit and you whine, wanting more. Deliberately, he slides himself down your pussy, coating his length in your cum.
“Koo, do something,” you plead, fingers gripping the edge of the table hard.
Unable to resist any longer, Jungkook swears under his breath, pushing himself into you in one steady motion. You gasp, feeling the entirety of him fill you up so good. Jungkook doesn't move, eyes pressed shut as he acclimatises himself to the feeling of being inside you.
The gratifying burn from being stretched out makes you tense in anticipation. As a result, Jungkook inhales, fingers gripping your thighs harder. Opening his eyes, he looks down to see both of you joined and slowly pulls out, watching his cock glisten with your wetness. Back and forth he goes, moaning at the sight of it.
“Fuck me, properly,” you huff, growing impatient with need.
He rolls his tongue on the inside of his cheek and smirks. In one quick motion, Jungkook shoves his dick back inside of you. “Done.”
You brace yourself, moving your hands back behind you on the table and you’re right to do so. Jungkook fucks you with no inhibition, hammering your sweet spot every single time. You always knew he was good at everything — cooking, golf, rugby, gardening, fixing things, running, heck any sport, singing, even poetry when he tries — but the way he fucks you goes beyond any expectation you could’ve had.
You can do nothing but sit there and take it, jaw slack as your legs spread wide for him. Crying out for more, he gives you what you want and takes you to orgasm. A blissful sensation ensues, heightened by the fact that you’re with Jungkook and you cry his name as you climax. Holding your trembling frame secure, he follows closely himself, coming hard and hot into the condom.
Heavy breathing is the only sound that fills the room for a moment. You’re basking in all of Jungkook’s post-sex glory, his chest glistening with a sheen of sweat as a few strands of hair now stick to his forehead. He lowers your legs to the desk, kissing you lazily on the forehead before he pulls out and disposes the condom in the trash can under the desk.
He takes some tissues from the box behind you and attempts to clean himself before zipping up. “You okay?”
Exhaling, you push yourself off the desk. “Never been better.” Your legs wobble as you stand and Jungkook holds you still.
“Best sex I ever had,” he says as a passing comment, helping you clean up.
And you agree. “We’re definitely doing that again.” it’s just now, you realise you’re completely naked in the middle of the cloakroom.
Jungkook is already crossing the room, picking up your dress and heels. Together, you make sure you both look presentable enough to rejoin the wedding.
Running your fingers through his hair, a smile graces his lips involuntarily. His happiness is infectious and you grin. “Happy?”
“Words can’t even describe it. Especially with you messing my hair up like that.” His eyes twinkle with mischief.
You laugh, swatting his arm gently. "Hey, I'm going for the tousled look. It's called fashion, Jeon, look it up.
"Of course," he says, nodding sagely. "My mistake. You're clearly ahead of your time.
"Exactly!" you say, with mock seriousness. "Now, are you going to kiss me or keep critiquing my hairstyling?"
Leaning in, he places a tender kiss on your lips before his expression shifts, carrying a hint of solemnity. “I am sorry for everything that happened before though.”
“It’s fine. You already apologised. Besides, so am I.”
“You didn't do anything wrong.”
“I could’ve been more honest with you.”
“I should have been first. It’s because of me everything happened that way. If I’d been honest, you wouldn’t have been hurt in the process.”
Sighing softly, you grasp his chin with your thumb and forefinger. “But we’re here now, it happened for a reason. And honestly, I wouldn't have it any other way.”
He smiles and nods. “I love you.”
“Love you too.”
6 months later.
“Finally!” Pushing the back of your earrings in, you step onto the landing. “We need to leave soon.”
Jungkook puts down his carry bag by the door, a wide grin on his face. “Are those the earrings I got you last week?”
You nod, smiling. “I’ve been so excited to wear them, they’re so perfect.”
“They’re perfect on you.” He kisses your cheek, still admiring you.
“Alright, I’ll be ready in 15 minutes.” Your dad steps in the front door, putting his own carry bag down next to Jungkook’s as he catches sight of you. “Oh, Y/N, dear, you look beautiful.”
“Thanks, dad,” you grin. “How was golf?”
“Your dad doesn’t like to lose, I’ll tell you that,” Jungkook chuckled, glancing at your dad with a playful smirk. “Although he almost beat me this time.”
“Almost being the operative word," your dad retorted with a grin, giving him a friendly pat on the shoulder.
“Yeah, He's definitely got some tricks up his sleeve.”
“Coming from you.” Your dad looks at Jungkook, definitely impressed. “You really surprised me today.”
Jungkook shrugs, a quirk to his lips. “What can I say? I’m full of surprises.”
Their cryptic conversation goes unnoticed by you as you check you’ve got everything in your purse. “That’s fab, guys, now hurry up. We need to leave or Alex will never invite us to another party again.”
“Alright, I’ll just put these away.” Jungkook picks up the carry bags while you rush back upstairs, having remembered to put perfume on. Watching you go, Jungkook feels a wave of nervous anticipation washing over him. He hears footsteps behind him and turns to see your mom come through the kitchen.
“Ah, there’s my beautiful wife,” your dad beams, giving her a kiss on the cheek.
She smiles and turns to Jungkook. "Excited for tonight?" she whispers, her voice filled with barely contained excitement.
Jungkook’s heart skips a beat as he nods. “She still has no idea right?”
“Not a clue.”
“Good.”
Twenty minutes later, you’re all gathered by the front door, ready to leave as your dad sets the alarm. You step out into the driveway, met by a gust of warm evening breeze. Looking at the horizon, the warm glow of the setting sun paints the sky in hues of orange and pink, casting a serene ambiance and you feel a wave of contentment.
Jungkook appears at your side, looking at you like he’s falling in love for the first time all over again. Smiling, you lean in and give him a kiss.
“What was that for?”
“I just love you… lots.”
Something in Jungkook’s expression shifts. “Me too.
Your hand finds his and your fingers intertwine. “Ready?”
Jungkook nods, thumb circling your bare ring finger, which, unbeknownst to you, will soon be holding the most perfect princess cut diamond as a promise of forever with him.
“Ready.”

note: road head (don't do that folks!) reader and Rafe refers to him as daddy, rafe is a head pusher.
You and Rafe are driving back home after a long afternoon of golfing, more like him as you were just admiring your boyfriend from the golf cart and sometimes giving him his club. He looked so hot with his white shirt and the few drops of sweat that you would occasionally see roll down the side of his face. So you do the only thing that seems right in your mind.
"Jesus, stop that- I'm driving, you're gonna make us crash!" Rafe's pushing your hand away from his crotch, making you whine as you put it back "please..wanna make you feel good rayray,I'll be quick! You just need to focus on the road,I'll be quick!"
Your boyfriend seems hesitant, looking at you before looking back at the road "okay...yeah,fine. Always need something in your mouth hm? Even while I'm driving." You're quick to undo his pants and pull the zipper down, pulling his dick out of his boxer and smiling widely before bending down to kitten lick at his tip. "thank you!" you mumble with your mouth full of him.
Rafe's eyes are stuck on the road as he tries to keep the steering wheel straight "jeez, what even got into you" one of his hands move to sit on top of your head, sighing shakily. "you just look so hot today,daddy- needed to have you." He nods to himself, pushing you down on his length "there you go...good girl" a small smirk creeps up on his face once he steals a quick glance down. Your eyes are glazed over, tears treating to spill over and ruin your mascara and he can see himself bulging into your cheek as you continue to work on him.
One of your hands cup his balls, massaging them softly making the man above you release a low growl "fuck, you're gonna get yourself in trouble princess. Behave" he says before pushing you completely down, your nose touching the small patch of nearly trimmed blonde hair "hm! Can't breathe rafey!" you whine immediately, coming back up for a quick breath.
"Hey,where are you going? back to work sweetie, cmon I'm close" you have no time to complain as he pushes you on him again, thrusting you into your mouth as best of his abilities "yeah...that's what I mean, nice and warm for me. Always taking me so well baby" your mascara Is now completely smudged all over your cheeks and under eye, making your lashes stick together uncomfortably. "help daddy out a bit baby" Rafe reminds you.
You're clenching your thighs together, moaning at the small friction you get "needy girl, sucking daddy's dick makes you horny?" he chuckles before giving you another small push "c'mon,I'll make you feel good later. Need you to focus on me"
Breathing through your nose you focus back on your work, pressing your tongue against one prominent vein that runs on the side of his dick before sucking on his tip, making him groan out loud. "fuck,yeah...'m so close sweetheart,so close" you look up at him, squeezing at his base with one hand while the other resume the work on his balls. Rafe grunts one more time before he's filling your mouth with sweet and sticky cum, making you close your eyes to enjoy the moment before pulling off him and smiling. "god...are you happy now?can't believe you just did that" He mumbles, tucking himself back in his pants with a low hiss from oversensitivity "yeah!I am,thank you rayray!" pressing your lips to his cheek you leave a sticky stain behind before settling into your seat like nothing ever happened "jeez,'m dating a freak."

I Got My Love To Keep Me Warm🎄✨❣️
summary: It’s your first time spending the holidays with your boyfriend and his uncle and it’s nothing but the perfect Christmas.
warnings: guys it is only a very fluffy christmas special, i hope you enjoy it. the reader and eddie are dating btw (if that counts:))
wc: 1.8k
Happy Christmas :)
————————————————————————————
You woke up with a freezing foot pressing against your own feet. You squint and hear a giggle from the boy next to you. “I’m going to put my cold hands on your butt Eddie, get off.” You said with a grumpy tone and still waking up.
“No you won’t, cause if you do i’ll put my cold hands on your boobs. I’ll have to take my revenge.” He teases you but still places his hand on your cheek and smile at you like the sweet guy he is. “I’m sorry that i woke you up like that i couldn’t resist-“ You playfully push his hand and his face making him grab you tight into a hug, a way to keep you still. “I just wanted to ask you if you wanted to help me with some chores today, all christmas chores… What do you say?”
You open your eyes but you only see Eddie’s neck since he’s pressing his cheek on your forehead while he hugs you tight. “Christmas chores? Tell me more” Eddie knew you were going to be intrigued, you had that christmas spirit, always excited for ‘the most beautiful time of the year’.
“Well, my uncle is going to a christmas tree farm because, even though we don’t have a lot of money to put up with a big tree, Wayne have a friend from his old days that works in one of those farms and got a nice price on a nice tree.” As Eddie explained you got up on your elbows to listen to his story carefully. “So, while he goes there to pick up our tree, you can come get the ornaments with me so we can decorate later and also go to the grocery store to buy some ingredients for those recipes you wanted to make.”
You’re smiling without even noticing. Now you really woke up and were ready for everything. “That’s great Eds, of course i’ll go with you! You just described a perfect day!” Eddie also was smiling without even noticing now. He loved when you got all excited about the things you truly loved.
So you two got dressed and went on your little Christmas adventure. First you take the ornaments in the self storage Wayne keeps the things that don’t fit in the trailer (he recently got to pay the rent thanks to Eddie’s help and his hard-earned money), and they made the place look bigger. You took the two medium boxes and went to the grocery store that wasn’t that far away. The place was crowded, of course it would be, there were only two days left until Christmas.
“Do we really have to get those ingredients?” Eddie said looking at the big line of people inside the store. It was probably going to take a bit more than thirty minutes.
“We don’t have to, but without them i can’t make those desserts.” You replied a bit annoyed that everyone got the same idea as you. “But come on, it’s gonna be worth it i promise!” You pull Eddie into the store.
————————————————————————————
When you got home, it was already afternoon. Wayne was already outside the trailer with the tree, cutting some twigs that expanded way too much. “Hey you two, what took you so long? Was it too hard to find the boxes?”
“Wayne you’re not gonna believe what happened there!” Eddie got out the van and started to tell the story excitedly. “I mean, we took only ten minutes to find the boxes, the real fun was in the market. The place was crowded, we started to get the missing ingredients when a lady tried to-“
“EDDIE! I told you… I told you not to say anything to your uncle.” You tried to mumble to him and your cheeks got red with embarrassment.
“What happened?” Wayne asked a bit concerned for the discrepancy in your reaction and Eddie’s.
“I’m sorry mr. Munson I- I was just… There was just a bit of a hustle in there because another woman tried to take the last container of cinnamon powder that was already in my hand and that was the most important ingredient in the recipes i wanted to make. So I got a bit carried away and-“
“She put the woman in her place, it was metal!” Eddie interrupted you and you cover your face with your hands.
“Eddie don’t be that dramatic, i was rude, yes, but only you and the lady heard what i said. I tried not to be too scandalous. At least she heard me and went her own way.” You got so stressed, the only thing you wanted to do is go back to your plans on making your christmas chores.
“I probably helped you scare her away. I gave her my bad guy look.” Eddie made that face again and you couldn’t help but fall into laughter. He was happy that he could pull a smile on your face after so much stress.
“That’s a story huh. It’s fine, just be careful with those type of ladies here in town, they not very nice.” He said giving you a small grin. Before Eddie could take you inside he stopped you again. “And hun’, you can quit the whole mr thing, you can call me Wayne, a’ right?” And you just replied with a grin and nod.
After that you just got back to your plans. You called your mom to let her know you were fine. Your family was spending Christmas at your grandparents house and you asked them if this year, you could spend the holidays with your boyfriend and his uncle. Miraculously they said yes. Now you were here, spending your first Christmas with Eddie (and also the first time you spent more than three days together) and you couldn’t be more excited. Everyday was being better than the one before.
————————————————————————————
In the next day, the tree was all pretty and colorful on the little corner of their living room. You spent the day making dinner (a tradition of theirs, a simple dish, mac n’ cheese, which you also offered to make) and the classic desserts, the gingerbread cookies and your cinnamon rolls. Of course, the moment you started to bake, Eddie offered to help. So it’s been like this the whole day, you trying to teach Eddie how to cook. You could only laugh in each five seconds.
“Stop laughing you dork, help me!” Eddie said laughing his ass off too. He was trying his best and, it wasn’t so bad, it was just funny.
“Come on Eds, do it as i said.” You contain yourself and take his hand, helping him mix all the ingredients together. You could feel his heavy sight on you. “You have to concentrate.”
“I’m trying.” He recomposed himself and started to mix again. “You’re not helping though.”
“What? What am i doing?”
“Besides of laughing at my face at every five seconds…” You giggle at him “You’re way to pretty with your hair up like that, wearing my shirt and with flour all over your face.”
“What?” You run your hand on your face and it was actually dirty. Eddie was laughing at you, so you take your time to tell him how pretty he was. You take a bit of flour and throw it at him. He stoped, too stunned to speak and then open a mischievous grin. That meant ‘run’.
Regretting instantly, because Eddie always takes those jokes very seriously, you start running around.
“Wait, Eddie wait! Don’t turn the room into a mess.”
“You started it. It’s just life babe, when you do something, there’s a consequence.” He’s laughing too and you run outside, avoiding the possible big mess inside the trailer. But when you open the door you’re surprised by the cold breeze and the snow falling down.
You just stop to look around and up the sky to feel the snow on your skin. It was really really cold, but it was amazing. You feel Eddie behind you, remember what you were playing before, but his hands were free and were wrapping around your growing cold body. It felt like you just stood there for a second, but maybe you were there for a little longer.
“Isn’t it amazing?” You speak and your chin trembles. Eddie turns you to him so he could embrace you into a warm hug. “You’re so warm. And you’re smelling like gingerbread cookies.”
“I hope that’s a good thing.” He chuckled
“It is. You smell like home.”
After that, You finish all your chores, take a very warm and needed shower and you stay our little christmas together. You three have dinner first and now, voted by Eddie and Wayne, you should come spend every christmas with them because it was the best mac n’ cheese they’ve ever eaten. You talk about things from your year, the ups and downs, your favorite moments, all that while you prepared the goodies to watch a classic christmas movie, something that Eddie came up with. One of his favorite things to do if he was honest, he used to do that on halloween but he brought that tradition to christmas too, to add a bit more to your special night together.
If they ask you, it was a perfect christmas day. You loved every second of it, specially because you got to spend your favorite holiday with your favorite person. By the middle of the movie you were sleeping on Eddie’s lap. When he realized, he felt something inside him, a warm feeling contrasting with the cold weather that he was growing accustomed to more and more and he could never get tired of it. While looking at you, a million thoughts passed through his head but the main thing was, he was sure that he never wanted to let you go. He loved you to much to even think about it.
“What’s on your mind kiddo?” Wayne asked as if he was reading his mind. He was actually, but he was reading his expressions, full of love looking down at your sleeping body.
“Nothing…. Just think i really got lucky. There’s no way i would get her without a bit of luck.” He tried to make a joke up that uncomfortable moment he got caught.
“I think that she’s the one Ed. And I mean it.” Wayne said bringing Eddie’s attention to him. “It’s pretty obvious to anyone who’s out watching you guys as i did the last couple of days. The way she treats you like you just gave the world to her, the way she looks at you like you’re her prince. It’s special Eddie and it doesn’t happen twice. You know it.”
Eddie is stunned. He didn’t disagree with what his uncle said, but to have someone telling him that you’re feeling the same way he is, that it is visible…. it really caught him. He was overwhelmed even. To have his feelings reciprocated in the same intensity.
“I think so too Wayne.” Eddie turned back to look at you. “Shes my girl. Shes the one.”

Warnings: Angst, Harvey being mean
“Hey handsome,” Y/n said, a small smile tugging at the corner of her lips as she looked at the man she loved, who’d recently been working himself to the bone for his new client.
“Hey baby,” Harvey greeted back, looking up momentarily to smile at her before his eyes went straight back to the paperwork in front of him.
Her smile fell slightly.
This case had been a nightmare, and the client had been nothing but an arrogant, pain in the ass.
For the last month, Harvey had been working diligently on this case, but the last few weeks were when things got really stressful.
She didn’t know why. She couldn’t know why. Client Confidentiality and all, but she’d seen a change in Harvey.
And this last week had been the tipping point, all he’d done for the past week was work; he’d barely even slept, and it showed, he was snappy with pretty much everyone, Louis, Mike even Donna…of course Donna and Mike understood why, this case was huge for not just Harvey but for the firm too, but he needed a break.
Y/n tried to never intervene with Harveys work, she knew better than anyone how a case could take over ones life, she had fallen victim to it more than a few times, allowing the case and the clients to take precedence over everything else, including herself and Harvey was always there by her side, to pull her out of the work she’d buried herself in so deeply.
Now it was her turn to do the same for him.
To help him the way he’d always helped her.
“It’s late,” she continued as she made her way into his office, stopping just a few inches away from his desk, “We should go home.”
Harvey leaned back in his chair, a small sigh falling from his lips as he once again pulled his eyes away from his paperwork to look at Y/n, the dark circles under his eyes evident now that she was closer to him.
“You go, I’m gonna stay here,”
“Harv-”
“I’m okay,” he assured her; with a smile she knew was fake.
Harvey was not someone who got stressed easily, in all the years she’d known him, she’d rarely known it to happen, and of course he would never admit that he ‘the great Harvey Specter’ was in fact stressed and exhausted.
“No you’re not,” she stated softly, moving around the desk so that she was standing next to Harvey.
Two lawyers dating was never easy, the long hours, the schedules, it was hard to spend quality time together but they’d always managed it, no matter what was happening at work.
She missed him. She missed how his fingers would brush against her waist when he held her close, missed the forehead kisses he would give her just as she was falling to sleep, missed hearing his laugh when they’d watch a shitty comedy show; she missed being close to him.
She knew it was selfish, but she couldn’t help how she felt.
Being this close to him, she saw how big and dark the circles under his eyes were; if she had the strength she’d just pick him up and remove him from the office, take him home and let him rest. But she was not that strong, so she was going to have to work on trying to persuade him.
She reached her arm out to him, placing her hand on his cheek, caressing it softly,“How long has it been since you’ve slept?”
A few moments of silence passed, before Harvey pressed a soft kiss on the palm of her hand, Y/n thought that meant that he was listening to her and that he was going to come home with her and get some much needed rest.
That was until Harveys hand lightly grabbed her wrist and placed it back into her lap.
“I’ve got work to do,” he replied simply, turning his attention back to his paperwork.
Y/n took a deep breath, trying to work out what she could say to him that wouldn’t aggravate him and would get him to listen to her.
“Harvey, you need to sleep,” she pointed out, the worry in her eyes growing with every moment that passed between them.
“I do sleep,” he answered bluntly; his tone catching Y/n off guard completely.
“Not for more than a few hours you don’t,” she challenged back, it was going to take more then his blunt tone to make her leave.
Why wouldn’t he just listen to her? Why couldn’t he see that all she was trying to do was help? Why did he have to be so difficult?
“I’m fin-”
“No you’re not,”
“Sorry, when did you become a therapist?” He snapped, the fury in his eyes evident as he looked at her once more, “I said I’m fine and I meant it”
“Look, I know you’re tired but you can’t keep snapping at people like this,” she reasoned, or at least attempted to. Y/n knew if he kept going on like this, he would end up making an enemy of everyone in his firm.
“I will snap at anyone who interrupts me from doing my goddamn work, and that includes you,”
“You’re not going to get any work done unless you rest properly,” she was trying so hard to keep her cool, to keep calm, he was exhausted and stressed, he was just snapping at her because she was there.
But she could feel her anger slowly beginning to build; she knew how he felt, she understood why he was acting and talking the way he was, but it didn’t mean it didn’t still hurt.
“Well you’re always pretty well rested and I’m still a better lawyer than you,”
That. That comment felt like a slap in the face to Y/n.
She took a deep breath, trying to calm herself down and stop herself from lashing out and adding fuel to an already growing fire.
“Harvey-”
She didn’t get a chance to finish her sentence, before he was already talking again, his pupils dilated and his tone harsh, “What? You want me to apologize for telling the truth? There’s a reason you work at Rand, Kaldor and Zayne and not here,”
And that was the tipping point. To get snappy at her was one thing, but to mock where she worked, her profession that she worked so hard for was another thing entirely.
She wanted to shout back at him and she was going to, until she realised there was no point; all her shouting would do would cause an argument, one where they just took cheap shots at each other until one of them said something they couldn’t come back from.
She wasn’t going to do that.
She didn’t have the energy.
So she walked towards the door of Harvey’s office; only turning around to look at him and say one simple sentence. Her voice was a calm as she could get it, but it still had a hint of anger laced in it, “You know why I don’t work here,”
And then she left Harvey.
Alone in his office.
And Y/n tried not to let her anger turn into tears as she headed towards the elevator, leaving the firm.

sneaky - j.f. x reader
a/n : omfg anon ur gonna be the death of meeeeeee!! also i made this kinda long since i havent posted in a while, oops..
pairing : joao felix x fem!reader
word count : 2.3k
summary : joao and u prefer to keep your love life private, secret even, but the the flirty looks and knowing smirks from across the room are becoming unbearable.
cw : smut obv, lil bit of alejandro x reader, sneaky joao and reader, unprotected sex (wrap it b4 u tap it ppl), make outs, cursing, me not bothering to accent his name lol sorry
---
you were starting to regret going out to dinner with your friend alejandro and his teammates.
the only reason why being that one of his teammates had become more.
hooking up with joao felix on the down low has been fun, you won't lie. and while you enjoy sneaky quickies and flirty messages, there were times where you wish you could just tear off his clothes and fuck that smug smile right off his face.
you were currently sitting in a restaurant, a private room and table was booked for alejandro, his barcelona teammates, and their plus ones. you and alejandro had become inseparable ever since you met in spain a few years ago, and you had grown increasingly close to his teammates.
very close to a certain mr felix.
the first time you met joao, it wasn't anything magical, you just thought he was fit. alejandro had introduced you to him when he came on loan to barca recently, and you just couldn't get him out of your head.
it seems that the feelings were mutual, as that very same night he followed you on instagram. you, of course, played it cool and took your time following him back (you waited like 10 seconds).
from there, you two messaged often, especially after the team would hang out.
joaofelix79 : u got home safe?
ynsusername : ofc i did
ynsusername : alejandro wouldn't let anything happen to me
joaofelix79 : that's good.
you two started messaging more, sometimes even calling each other late in the night. you couldn't explain why, maybe he was just fun to talk to.
you would complain to him about work, and he would complain about a mistake he made in training.
eventually, you two started hanging out alone.
not anything crazy, of course.
joaofelix79 : hey
joaofelix79 : js noticed im about to drive by ur place
joaofelix79 : wanna get some ice cream? my treat
how could you refuse that?
it wasn't all that shocking to you when a surprise ice cream date turned out into a steamy make out session on a bench in a park in the middle of the night.
"we should stop, someone might see us.." you murmured against the portuguese boy's lips, you yourself making no effort to.
"ok, if that's what you want." he pulled away from you, his fluffy hair disheveled thanks to you.
"5 more minutes" you placed your lips on his again, feeling him smile against them.
from there, weekly hangouts became almost nightly. he would pick you up in his car, and you would drive anywhere. you just needed an excuse to make out. you even put your number in his phone.
eventually, joao grew tired of the make outs that led to nothing, and you did too.
12:03 am - joao : wyd
12:03 am - you : was ab to put some instant noodles in the microwave lol
12:04 am - joao : dont bother
12:04 am - joao : come eat at my place
12:05 am - joao : i ordered uber eats
of course, you went, and you two ate the chinese takeout he bought. you two sat and laughed together at his attempt at using chopsticks.
and then you found yourself perched on his kitchen counter, him in between your legs while he rammed into you mercilessly. you left red marks across his back and biceps.
"my god, you feel amazing, querida." joao's words were muffled as his head was nuzzled into your neck, his lips caressing your hot skin with every word he spoke.
"i'm so fucking close, joao.." you whined and whispered curses while your hands found themselves travelling from his arms to his hair, tugging on the soft brown locks.
"let go, y/n, i'm close too!" he removed his flushed face from your neck and connected your lips together again, breathing heavily into your mouth.
you came undone with a sharp whine, arching into him. his thrusts became sloppy as he let out a long groan against your lips, releasing into the condom.
that was the first time you two had fucked, and it definitely would not be the last.
his house was usually where you two would hook up because it was so big, and you didn't have to worry about anything when you were there.
you two fucked anywhere - on the bed, in the shower, on the couch, even in the laundry room.
you found that it didn't really matter where you were. if either of you were craving the other, it happened right then and there. it was fun. it kept you on your toes, kept things fresh and fun.
but it became a curse when you two were at a team dinner.
---
"si, i told him he could go fuck off if that was what he wanted. that guy needs to learn some manners, for fucks sake!"
the table erupted in laughs as pedro went on about some story that you weren't really paying attention to to be honest. you were sat right beside your good friend, alejandro, who was very intrigued in pedro's story and hadn't spoken to you more than twice this evening.
across from you was joao. he was wearing a black dress shirt that hugged his biceps perfectly along with black dress pants. of course, to make your life more difficult, the top two shirt buttons weren't done up.
one more open button and everyone would've seen the hickey you gave him the other-
"isn't that right, y/n?"
alejandro was speaking to you, and you were too busy staring at joao's biceps to hear him.
"hmm? sorry?"
"i said, it was you who i walked in on dancing silently in the darkness darkness of your room, right?" alejandro smirked at the sight of your cheeks going red, this memory being nothing short of embarrassing to you.
"yup, that- uh- that was me..!" you looked down in humiliation as the table giggled at alejandro's unexpected story about you. he loved embarrassing you, it was his thing. he found it fun because he thought of you like a little sister.
you looked up to see joao, laughing along with everyone else at the table, finding amusement in your misery. you shot him a playful glare.
"i'm only teasing, mi corazón." alejandro chuckled before ruffling your hair. "ale!" you whined, fixing your hair. his friends teased you. they all thought of you as their little sister, especially you being one of the younger ones.
the men continued on with their conversations as you continued looking at joao from your end of the table, only this time, he was looking at you too.
he was taking a slow sip of his water, eyeing you down.
joao wasn't the only one dressed all sexy tonight. you wore a short black satin strapless dress that hugged your figure perfectly. you thought of joao when you picked it out, you thought of him while putting it on, and you thought of him taking it off.
it seems that joao had the same thought. the way he looked at you from under his lashes gave you the impression that your outfit choice was a smart one.
you sent him a quick wink.
he smirked and dropped his eyes to your cleavage, widening them.
you rolled yours before continuing to eat your steak.
---
you couldn't take it anymore.
something the way he laughed with everyone at the table, his hair flowing when he turned his head. he had on a gold rolex and a gold chain, both glistening under the lighting over the table.
it was the way he carried himself with such confidence. he knew he was hot, and he knew you knew it too. that confidence definitely carried over into bed.
finally, you got up from the table, excusing yourself to "make a call".
shooting joao a quick look, he took the hint. his eyes followed you, watching you exit the restaurant and head towards the parking lot. after an agonizing 30 seconds or so, joao told everyone he forgot something in his car, and made a beeline to where he saw you last.
he saw you standing outside his car, waiting for him. he made his way towards you.
"so, who did you have to call?" he teased, his eyes waiting for your reaction. you scoffed and rolled your eyes, "very funny.".
you wrapped your arms around his neck, bringing him closer to you as you leaned against his car. he smiled down at you before looking over your figure.
"nice dress.."
"just take it off."
---
you two had squeezed into the back of his car, leaving nothing but surrounding street lights as your light source. you straddled his waist, rocking your hips while you smashed your lips against his. you two were breathing heavily, occasionally breaking the kiss to huff and puff before going back at it again.
joao's arms were wrapped tightly around your waist, his right hand occasionally sliding down to cup and smack your ass. his actions made you yelp into the kiss. your arms were everywhere. cupping his face, on his shoulders, in his hair, on his chest, on his abs.
it was like you two hadn't seen each other in years. like you were drowning and the only way to breathe was.. this.
your smooth rocking of the hips created a hard bulge in joao's pants which felt great on your throbbing clit. he groaned into the kiss, breaking it for you to breathe and to leave kisses down your neck.
"so, fucking, horny" he broke each word with a kiss. you moaned above him. "you can't even last one dinner party without my hands all over you?" you wanted him to shut up, so you grabbed his face in your hand and smashed your lips against his.
you started unbuttoning his shirt, but your hands were too shaky to do it quickly. "take this off, god damnit!" you groaned as he laughed and began unbuttoning it himself. you hiked your dress up and helped him with the last few buttons.
you moved his shirt partially off him, leaving it on his arms since you couldn't be bothered. you leaned down to kiss his chest while looking up at him. he was smiling down at you, hands rested behind his head.
he brought you back up to pull the top of your dress down just enough so that your tits would pop out. when they did, he licked his lips. now it was his turn to lean down and suck on them, making you tilt your head back and pant.
"joao, we dont have time for this-"
"shhh, patience princesa. don't worry." he went back to sucking.
"they're going to realize we're gone- joao!"
he couldn't bring himself to leave your tits alone, but when he did, you quickly reached down and undid his belt , not even bothering to pull it off.
"estás mesmo excitado, não é?" (you're really excited, aren't you?)
you nodded and bit your lip.
he unzipped his pants and pulled his hard cock out of his boxers. you raised yourself up on your knees and hovered over his dick. he held it up with one hand, the other resting on your hip.
"are you ready for me?" he teased.
"enough questions." you cut his teasing short as you took his cock in your hands yourself and sunk down on him.
joao hissed at the unexpected pleasure. he looked up at you, gasping for air above him before tucking a strand of hair behind your ear.
"move for me, bebé."
you did as you were told, lifting your hips up until just the tip of him was left in you, before sinking back down on him, agonizingly slow.
he shuddered at the feeling.
you picked up the pace, causing the car to rock. your tits bounced in his face, causing him to twitch inside you.
"fuck, y/n, you're amazing-" you laugh breathlessly above him, your hands resting on his shoulders for stability while his gripped your hips tightly.
after some time, your thighs were burning, and you were getting tired. joao picked this up, taking control. his grip on your hips was put to some use as he moved your hips up and down for you. he lifted and dropped you so easily and made you move so much faster. you felt the air leave your lungs and arched your back to stick your tits in his face.
he grinned as he thrusted his hips up, meeting you in the middle. he tilted your body back, and started to hit the spot inside you that made you see white.
your pants and gasps turned into moans and whines as you felt the bundle of heat in your core.
"joao, i'm close" you warned, your nails digging into his shoudlers.
"i'm right there with you, baby, oh," he groaned and grunted as he watched him drill into you faster and faster. "meu deus, foda-se!" (my god, fuck!) he hissed with gritted teeth as he felt you clench around him.
his pace was too much for you to hold back. you let go with a gasp and moan, your hand slamming and sliding down the steamy car window, leaving a print.
joao was, indeed, right there with you. he pulled your body off of him and set you down on his thighs hastily before stroking his red, throbbing cock, cumming all over your stomach with a string of grunts and pants.
you both sat there in the hot and dark car in disbelief, covered in sweat and panting, after having the most mind blowing sex you've ever had. you leaned your forehead against his and smiled. he chuckled before teasing you once more.
"let's go. we don't want to miss dessert, do we?"

yo! i just saw your last post and decided to drop a request!
can you do a luke castellan x mixed race, daughter of posiedan reader, where everyone in camp is betting on when they will get together but they acutally have been dating for a while and maybe slip in some times when they almost reveal their relationship???🩵
pairings: luke castellan x poseidon!reader
a/n: finished this in a parking lot so I could give you guys something, hope you like it 😭
Life at Camp Half-Blood had always been chaotic, but lately, it seemed like the campers had collectively decided that your love life was their favorite form of entertainment. You couldn’t walk past the forge, the archery range, or even the strawberry fields without overhearing whispers about when you and Luke Castellan would “finally” get together.
“Come on, they’re perfect for each other!” you’d heard someone say during breakfast.
“Yeah, but she’d never go for him. He’s too cocky,” someone else argued.
“Are you kidding? That’s what makes it fun! I give it… three weeks.”
It had become a camp-wide obsession. Bets were placed, theories were crafted, and you were pretty sure even Chiron had overheard some of the more elaborate predictions. What none of them knew, of course, was that you and Luke had been dating for months.
At first, keeping it a secret had been easy—fun, even. You liked the thrill of stolen moments behind the cabins, the way Luke would brush your hand in passing or send you a conspiratorial wink when no one was looking. But lately, it was getting harder to hide.
Like during that sparring session on the beach. Luke had been standing close—too close, really—as he adjusted your grip on the hilt of your sword. His voice was low and smooth, meant only for you. “Your stance is too tight. Relax, or you’ll lose your balance.”
“I’m very balanced, thanks,” you shot back, grinning despite yourself.
He chuckled, his hands lingering just a second longer than they needed to. “Yeah? Could’ve fooled me.”
You opened your mouth to retort, but the words caught in your throat as you spotted Percy and Annabeth approaching from the dunes. Luke must’ve noticed, too, because he stepped back with an easy, practiced smile that betrayed no hint of what had just passed between you.
“Just showing her how it’s done,” Luke called out as they got closer.
Annabeth arched a brow, her stormy-gray eyes flicking between you and Luke with razor-sharp precision. Percy, on the other hand, barely seemed to notice. “Cool. Hey, you guys coming to lunch, or…?”
Luke clapped him on the shoulder. “You go ahead. We’ll catch up.”
As they walked away, Annabeth glanced over her shoulder, her gaze lingering on you for a beat too long. You felt your face heat, but Luke just smirked. “Close one,” he said, his tone far too casual for your liking.
“Yeah, no thanks to you,” you muttered, elbowing him lightly.
The close calls didn’t stop there. A few days later, during a campfire gathering, you made the mistake of sitting a little too close to Luke. The warmth of the fire was nothing compared to the heat of his arm brushing against yours. You could feel his presence in every fiber of your being, but you tried to act natural, laughing along with the others as if you weren’t hyper-aware of him.
Apparently, you weren’t subtle enough.
Clarisse leaned forward from across the circle, a wicked grin on her face. “Alright, seriously—when are you two just gonna admit it? We all know it’s gonna happen eventually.”
Your heart jumped into your throat, but Luke didn’t miss a beat. “Admit what? That I’m clearly the better swordsman?”
The campers laughed, and you shot him a glare. Later, when you were alone, you kicked him lightly under the table. “You’re too good at this,” you said.
He grinned, leaning in just close enough to make your breath hitch. “What can I say? I’m a man of many talents.”
The breaking point came on a quiet evening by the canoe dock. The two of you had snuck away after dinner, seeking a rare moment of peace. You sat side by side on the edge of the dock, your feet dangling over the water. The stars reflected in the lake, and Luke’s arm rested comfortably around your shoulders.
“I swear, if one more person makes a bet about us, I’m going to lose it,” you muttered, leaning into him.
Luke chuckled, pressing a soft kiss to your temple. “Relax. No one’s going to find us out here.”
But, of course, someone did.
“HA! I KNEW IT!”
You both froze, whipping around to see Connor Stoll standing at the edge of the dock, his grin wide enough to split his face.
“Connor, I swear—” Luke started, but it was too late.
By the time you made it back to camp the next morning, the news had spread like wildfire. Drachmas exchanged hands as campers tallied up their bets, and the buzz at breakfast was louder than ever.
Percy sat across from you, completely oblivious as usual. “Man, everyone’s acting weird today,” he said through a mouthful of blue pancakes.
Annabeth, who was sitting beside him, gave him an incredulous look. “You really haven’t figured it out yet?"
“Figured what out?” Percy asked, his brow furrowing.
Annabeth sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose. “Look behind you.”
Percy turned, and his jaw dropped as he saw you and Luke sitting together, Luke’s arm casually draped over your chair.
“WHAT?!” Percy sputtered, nearly choking on his pancakes. “You two?! Since when?!”
“Since a while ago,” Luke said smoothly, looking far too amused by Percy’s reaction.
Percy looked between the two of you, his expression a mixture of shock and mild disgust. “I—I don’t even—gross!”
You couldn’t help but laugh. “Relax, Seaweed Brain. It’s not that shocking.”
“Yeah, it kinda is,” Percy grumbled, shoving another forkful of pancakes into his mouth as if it would erase the image from his mind.
Across the table, Annabeth smirked. “Took you long enough."
And just like that, the secret was out. But as Luke’s hand found yours under the table, his thumb brushing against your knuckles, you realized you didn’t mind. If anything, it felt like a relief.
After all, you didn’t need to hide anymore—and you could finally enjoy breakfast without worrying about the camp’s latest bets.

Masterlist
“I can’t believe this” Patrick laughed moving to run a hand through his hair. “Him. Seriously.” His voice was venomous as he spoke. You sighed, exasperated almost as you sat on the bed.
He looked over to you from his place by the door. “You dated him for four years?” He scoffed. “You didn’t think to tell me this?”
“Patrick.” You sighed moving to stand in front of him. “I was gonna tell you. I was just waiting for the right time.” You gestured to the crib.
“You and Art.” He shook his head. The idea was so ludicrous to him. “He never mentioned you.”
“We weren’t together when-” You hesitated. “When it happened.” He grimaced slightly at your words, mumbling quietly under his breath.
Placing a hand on his cheek you smiled. “It was a long time ago. You have nothing to worry about.” His eyes met yours and for a moment a flash of vulnerability crossed his face. You weren’t technically his. Sure the baby sleeping only a few feet away was a product of you both but you and him were nothing more than two people raising a baby.
He wanted more. He’d wanted more from the moment he’d seen you hold your daughter for the first time but he refused to mess this up. He refused to push away what was possibly the best thing that ever happened to him.
So he was willing to wait - to play the long game.
He closed his eyes, sucking in a breath. “He wants to talk to you.” The words hung heavy as you faltered.
“What do you mean?”
“It was him at the door.” His eyes hardened slightly as he almost forced the next words from his mouth. “Art.”
Your own breath caught sight. “So he told you.” Patrick nodded. “It’s not every day the guy who ditched you for your ex randomly shows up at your door.” He rolled his eyes.
You could almost imagine it. The look on their faces as they came face to face for the first time in what must have been years. “Did he say why?” You asked gently rubbing your thumb across his cheek.
“No.” He shook his head, his gaze almost burning through you.
You nodded sighing quietly. “Okay.” You looked over to the crib. “I just got her down. She should sleep for a while.”
Patrick nodded, his face softening as he looked over to the crib. You watched him for a moment, a small smile playing on your lips.
Patrick Zweig may have been many things, but one thing he was not was a bad father.
You pressed your lips to his cheek for a moment before pulling back. “I won't be long.”
His jaw seemed to tense for a moment before he nodded. You hummed softly walking past him and down the stairs. You trailed your hand down the bannister as you thought for a moment.
This whole situation left your head spinning slightly. You really had planned to tell Patrick about your past with Art. You knew it was something you’d have to approach gently yet apparently that had blown up in your face.
Art was still standing by the couch, though he’d taken a seat and his expression was pinched. When he saw you descending the stairs, his focus shifted and a strange mix of guilt and relief flickered on his face.
He got to his feet, shoving his hands into his pockets as he looked you over, his gaze flickering across your figure.
You smiled gently as you reached the bottom step. You looked him over for a moment. He looked so different yet the same. He’d matured since you’d last seen him but you thought if you squinted enough you could still see the boy who you’d fallen for all those years ago.
“Hey.” You leaned against the bannister, watching him.
Art returned the greeting, offering a faint and slightly forced smile in return, but it was obvious that whatever he wanted to say was weighing on him.
“Can we talk?” He asked, his voice quiet enough that he knew Patrick wouldn’t overhear.
You cast a glance to the stairs for a moment just to make sure Patrick hadn’t decided to follow you. “Sure.” You paused for a moment. Whatever this was about you didn't feel like doing it out in the open was the safest idea. “Kitchen?” You offered
The answer caused the corner of his mouth to twitch slightly in the faintest smile.
“Yeah.” He murmured in response, leading you into the next room. He kept up a few steps behind as he walked up to the counter, leaning against it as he took you in.
You walked past him choosing to lean against the island opposite him. You left a safe distance between you both as you leaned forward, bracing your arms on the island. “Why are you here?”
Art exhaled slightly, looking up at you in earnest. It had been years since he’d last seen you, but it felt like he was seeing you for the first time all over again. He could still recognize the same fierce and determined look in your eyes.
“I…” a moment of hesitation before he exhaled again. “I had to see you.”
You scoffed. “Seriously?” You shook your head. “What about your wife?” You spit the smile previously on your lips melting away as your gaze hardened.
Art’s expression dropped ever so slightly. It was exactly what he’d expected from you, and he knew he deserved it. Though part of him hoped you’d be more open to talking.
“Tashi’s not…she’s fine.” He stated, waving an indifferent hand in the air.
“Mhm.” You nodded slightly unconvinced. His appearance was more than random. After eight years why now? Why now when you finally had something good did he have to show up?
“How did you even find out where I lived anyway? We haven’t spoken in like eight years.”
His mouth twisted slightly at this, and he almost sheepishly shoved his hands into his pockets.
“I, uh…” he trailed off, before exhaling. “I may have asked your parents.”
Your eyes widened as your mouth dropped open slightly. “Seriously? You called my parents!”
The look on your face was exactly what he was expecting, a mixture of annoyance and disbelief. He couldn’t say he blamed you for feeling that way, but he hadn’t exactly known another way to contact you. You weren’t exactly buddy buddy.
“Who else was I going to ask?” He retorted in a huff.
“Literally anyone else. What did you tell them?” You laughed in disbelief.
Art’s jaw set a little at the question, knowing how it would sound.
“I just—“ He hesitated, not wanting to admit it. “…told them I wanted to see you.” He exhaled, and the answer came out slightly sheepish. He held his breath for a moment as you seemed to take in the information.
He knew it was low of him but part of him didn’t care.
You rolled your eyes. “Jesus Christ.”
You paused for a moment. “Why now?”
Art’s expression soured at the question, the reality of it weighing on him. He shifted a little, his gaze dropping as he exhaled.
“I…” he trailed off, struggling to find the right words. He knew it was stupid but he was struggling to convey it. “I know I don’t have a right to say this, but…I need to talk to you.”
You sighed. “I’m here aren’t I?” You briefly glanced at the door.
“You know he’s fuming right?” You gestured to the doorway. “I didn’t tell him that I knew about whatever the fuck went down between you both in college.”
The mention of Patrick made Art’s expression falter slightly, and he exhaled. As if on cue, he could faintly hear footsteps pacing upstairs, no doubt Patrick’s irritated footsteps as he was clearly itching to listen in.
“Let him fume.” Art huffed, his shoulders slumping slightly. “I don’t care.”
He knew he sounded like a child but seeing Patrick had done enough to sour his mood for the day. Of all the people in the world, why did you have to choose him?
You rolled your eyes. “Well, I have to care! He’s the father of my child.”
Art’s expression dropped slightly at the mention of you having a child with Patrick. He couldn’t honestly say he was surprised, though he did struggle to not feel a pang of something. He’d always known you were bound to grow up and find someone.
“Do you love him?” The question was out of his mouth before he could stop himself.
You faltered for a moment. Did you love Patrick? Sure he was the father of your child but what more was he? You’d never passed that line from friends to something more. A large part of you wanted to, but was that what he wanted?
You paused. “I…” you trailed off. “I don’t know yet.”
You shifted. “We’re not actually together.”
The answer didn’t reassure him as much as he would’ve hoped. A part of him still expected you to say yes, and he was surprised when you said something different.
“You aren’t?” He echoed, shifting against the counter slightly. “Even…even after the baby?”
“I don’t like saying it but she was the result of a one-night stand.” You ran a hand through your hair a small pit of guilt forming in your stomach at your words. “We didn’t exactly plan this,”
Art’s expression twisted slightly at the revelation, and he exhaled. A one-night stand wasn’t necessarily shocking, but it was still somewhat surprising to hear.
“Ah.” There was a pause, and his shoulders slumped slightly. “So…you guys aren’t…” together? The question was left unfinished, but it was clear what he meant.
“No.”
The answer made his heart leap ever so slightly, though he did his best not to show it. He exhaled, shifting uncomfortably as he tried to keep his expression neutral.
“Do you…plan to?” He asked cautiously.
You frowned. “I don’t know okay.”
Art’s expression softened slightly at that, despite the pang in his chest. He didn’t blame you for being conflicted about Patrick. Part of him understood that your situation wasn’t exactly conventional.
There was a moment of a pause, before he spoke up again, slightly hesitant and quiet. “And…what about me?”
“What about you?” You frowned moving to clasp your hands together on the counter.
The expression on his face was strangely vulnerable as his gaze met yours.
“You know I—“ He paused, shaking his head as if trying to think of the right words to say. “Do you still….” His voice trailed off, and he exhaled. He didn’t know how to finish the question, he didn’t know if he wanted to.
Do you still love me? There it was.
The words seemed to fall over you like ice. The question made your head spin slightly as your gaze darted from him to your hands and back to him. Your face softened for the first time since you’d entered the kitchen and for a moment he could have sworn you looked slightly concerned.
What was he playing at here?
“You…you’re married.” You whispered
He knew he was married.
Art had been expecting that response, he’d thought he’d come to terms with the way you most likely wouldn’t reciprocate the statement. But hearing it still stung, and he had to work to keep his expression neutral in light of the response.
“You didn’t answer the question.” He managed to say, trying to keep the hurt out of his voice.
You nodded casting a glance out the door. You moved around the island, standing slightly closer to him.
“We dated for four years. Hell, you were my first real love…I’m always gonna hold some sort of feelings for you.” You sighed, your eyes refused to meet his.
Art’s heart leapt at the confession, and he inhaled ever so slightly. Still? After all this time? After everything that happened between you two?
He had to keep himself under control, swallowing and working to keep his expression steady. As if to compensate, he shifted on his feet, not sure how he felt being this close to you again.
“Feelings?” He echoed after a moment. “What kind of feelings?”
You rolled your eyes scoffing. “Don’t play dumb.”
The comment made Art scoff slightly, and he crossed his arms over his chest. In spite of himself, a small smile tugged at the corner of his mouth. He couldn’t help it, the way you responded to him was the same as it had always been.
“I’m not playing dumb.” He shot back, his tone slightly teasing. “I just—“ He paused, a faint smile still on his face as he looked back down at you. “—I want to hear you say it.”
“What you wanna hear me say that I still love you?” Your eyes met his, yet they didn’t hold the coldness they had only a few minutes ago. Your head was spinning almost as you tried to digest what he was saying.
Art’s breath caught, and he paused for a moment.
Yes
He exhaled again, his expression slightly pained now. He knew it was a stupid thing to want to hear. He was married for Christ’s sake, he shouldn’t want it. But he couldn’t help himself from wanting to hear the words come from you.
“Yeah.” He found himself blurting out as he leaned forward a little. “Say it.”
“Why?” You shook your head taking a step back. “Why do you care.”
Art paused, trying to think of an answer in spite of himself. He didn’t know why he cared so much, he just did.
“I just…” He trailed off and exhaled. “I just want to hear you say it, just so—“
The word caught in his throat, and he hesitated. Just so I know it’s not too late.
He couldn’t say that, he couldn’t admit that.
You thought for a moment. Did you still love him?
You’d barely spared him a single thought in the last eight years yet now…now actually standing in front of him you doubted that you’d truly gotten over him.
Flipping the situation on him you glanced to the door before looking back to him. “Do you still love me?” You pursed your lips watching him closely.
Art’s gaze flickered as your question. The answer was yes, he did still love you. If anything it was more than before, and that’s what scared him.
“I…” He paused, again struggling to find the right words. “…yeah. I do,” he admitted shakily, the words almost a whisper.
Your breath hitched. You hadn’t expected that. “Then why did you marry her?” You couldn’t bring yourself to say her name. The thought of her alone left a bad taste in your mouth.
Art almost wished you hadn’t asked the question. He felt his body almost go tense with the question, and he swallowed.
He didn’t know how to explain to you that he’d been desperate and scared, that he’d felt like he was losing everything and that Tashi was an escape from it. He didn’t know how to admit that he wished he hadn’t done it, that marrying her had been the biggest mistake he’d ever made.
“I…” He started weakly. “…I thought I loved her
You shook your head staring at him dumbfounded. “What do you mean?”
Art exhaled, a hand going to run through his hair. He couldn’t look at you, he couldn’t bring himself to meet your eye.
“Everything was changing.” He said quietly. “And you were—“ He cut himself off, as if not wanting to say it. “And you were gone, and I just…”
He exhaled, struggling to find the right response. “I didn’t know what to do.”
You sighed nodding slightly. “If you’d called I would have picked up.” You let the words hang for a moment.
The words hit Art like a truck. The worst part was you were right. You would’ve picked up if he’d called you. If only he’d had the insight to call you if he’d had the courage to call you.
“I know.” His shoulders slumped slightly, and he sighed, looking down. “Believe me, I know.”
Then why didn't you?
The words hung unsaid in the air as you stared at him. “Is that all?” You sighed after a moment.
Art exhaled again, shifting uncomfortably. He wanted to say no because he knew it was far from all he had to say. He wanted to say I’m sorry and I should’ve called and I wish I hadn’t married Tashi and on and on and on.
Because he was still scared, he was still terrified of losing you for good.
“Yeah.” He blurted out in spite of himself. “That’s all.”
You nodded. “Okay.” You allowed yourself to smile as you reached over to rub a hand up his arm. The touch almost made Art shiver, and he had to force himself not to lean into it. Your words stung a bit, a sharp pain in his chest.
You were quiet for a moment before softly saying “I’m sorry it didn’t end differently.”
“I’m sorry too.” He whispered, his gaze flickering up to look at you. It was at that moment that he realized how close you were to him, and he had to stop himself from pulling you even closer.
Your hand paused for a moment as your eyes met his. Your heart seemed to stutter as you let out a breath. Art’s eyes darted between yours, his expression torn. He knew he shouldn’t, he knew he needed to pull away. He was married, he had a daughter.
There were a hundred reasons he shouldn’t.
Yet none of them seemed to matter when you were standing so close to him.
Your breath seemed to catch for a moment as you felt a slight pull.
You shifted ever closer, your eyes still locked on his as the world seemed to almost fade away. The guilt began to claw at your brain. It screamed at you to pull back, to turn around and walk away.
To go back to the father of your child. But you didn’t
Art’s breathing hitched as you moved closer, and his mind practically went blank. The logical part of him knew he should stop you, he should pull away and step back because *this was wrong*, but he didn’t. It was as if he was paralyzed by the proximity.
“We…” He managed to say weakly, his voice barely a whisper. “Shouldn’t.”
“I know.” You whispered sinking your teeth into your lip. “You married and I have a baby with your ex-best friend.” you looked down for a moment.
you were so fucked
Art swallowed as his gaze flickered down to your mouth, and he inhaled slightly. The words should be a reason to move, should be a reason for him to step back, because you were right, he was married and you had a baby and you weren’t even his anymore.
But Art didn’t move away, and something about it just felt right.
“I know.” He repeated your response, his voice coming out slightly strangled.
You nodded before dropping your hand from his arm and starting to move back.
The guilt of the situation beginning to take over. You couldn’t do that to Patrick - you wouldn't do that.
Art wanted to swear as you moved away. Stop being logical, he wanted to say, because he knew that he should feel guilty but somehow he didn’t.
Instead, he reached out without thinking, his hand wrapped loosely around your wrist as he gently tugged you back.
His touch burned almost. The heat travels up your arm and over the rest of your body. The touch seemed to dull the voice in your head as you swallowed thickly before you silently met his gaze.
Art’s heart was racing in his chest as his hand was wrapped around your wrist, the feeling of your skin against his sent a little jolt through him. His eyes never left yours as he gently tugged you back towards him.
The logical part of his mind was screaming at him to let you go, that he shouldn’t be doing this. But for the first time in years, he ignored it.
Your lips parted. “Art-“
The way you said his name sent a shiver down his spine, and Art found himself shifting even closer to you. The guilt and the fear almost completely faded out of his mind at that moment, and it was only you.
“Shh…” He murmured, his breath coming out shaky. “Don’t talk.”
You swallowed thickly as you felt your heat beat impossibly faster. His chest pressed against yours as you craned your neck slightly to look up at him. Your mind raced.
Art’s heart was racing in his chest, his breathing coming in a ragged, uneven pace as you stood so close to him. You were pressed against his chest, and it was as if almost instantly, any sort of hesitancy or guilt he’d been feeling before was gone, replaced with an almost desperate desire.
You tilted your head up to look at him, and Art leaned down ever so slightly so his face hovered directly above yours.
You froze.
His breath ghosted against your lips as you blinked unable to move.
Art’s grip on your wrist loosened, his hand moving up to cradle the side of your face.
The air between you was so unbearably charged. You could almost hear both of your hearts racing as Art hovered his face just above yours, his breath fanning against your face as he hesitated.
His thumb traced a gentle, light pattern over your skin as he paused as if silently asking for permission.
All your morals seemed to melt away at that moment. The gesture alone had your knees feeling weak as the guilt seemed to fully melt away.
You nodded slightly, your breath catching.
The instant you nodded, it was like a switch flicked on inside Art. Before you could even register it, his lips were against yours.
It was desperate, and needy, and almost hungry as if he was trying to make up for three years worth of missed kisses at that moment. His hand not on your face moved to the small of your back, pulling you flush against him.
You gasped quietly a hand going to fist his hair as your other fell to the edge of the counter. Your body moulded against his perfectly as he pressed you back into the counter firmly.
A little gasp left Art’s mouth as you tangled your hand in his hair, and the feeling seemed to send a wave of heat rushing through him. Feeling you against him was like taking a breath of air after drowning, and it just made him want more.
Art tilted his head, his lips pressing more firmly against yours as he pressed against you.
The kiss only seemed to grow more desperate as time went on. You were both seemingly trying to make up for lost time as the world seemed to disappear until it was only you both left.
He needed you closer. The hand on the small of your back was keeping you practically pressed against him, and he let out a low gasp into your mouth as if he was trying to taste you.
He practically lifted you off the floor, setting you down on the counter and standing between your legs.
You shifted closer to him, your hand slipping from his hair to the nape of his neck and your other one lay on his shoulder.
The world around you seemed to narrow down to nothing more than the two of you. The feeling of his lips against yours was intoxicating so much that for a moment you almost forgot that 8 years had passed.
That you both had commitments to other people.
Art’s head was spinning. He couldn’t think of anything, the only thing going through his head was you, you, you, and the way your body felt against his.
He needed more, and his hands roamed over your frame, touching your waist, your hips, your thighs, your cheeks, anything he could reach.
Just this once, a little voice in his head whispered. Just this once.
So lost in your own world you both missed the footsteps making their way down the stairs.
Both of you were completely oblivious to the footsteps, Art’s focus was solely on you. One of his hands was firmly on your waist, fingers digging into your skin as if he was afraid you’d disappear.
The other was gently resting against your cheek, his thumb tracing a light pattern over your skin as he pressed you as close to him as he could.
A small content noise left you as he pulled back for a moment. Your chest heaved as you caught your breath before pressing your lips back to his again.
The kitchen door opening fell on deaf ears.
you both failed to notice for a moment until the sound of someone clearing their throat broke through your haze.
Patrick looked pissed.
His jaw was clenched tightly as he stepped fully into the kitchen, shutting the door quietly, and his glare flicked from Art, to you, and back again.
“Having a good time?” He finally said through gritted teeth, his expression hard and sharp.

Bet on it ( Bradley bradshaw x reader ) part one
summary : everyone thought since they were best friend that their kids would be but after some unknown reason bradley bradshaw and y/n mitchell hated each other . after confrontation one night that leaves bradley in a dry spell well the guys make a claim and bradley's willing to bet and prove them wrong all he had to do was get into a relationship with the one person that couldn't stand him .
warning : enemies to lovers, bradley bit of a dick in the start not gonna lie , bet trope , age gap ( ten years hes 38 , she 28 ) this series is gonna be a roller coaster of emotions
They were soulmate platonic where Mav was, goose was not far behind , both mischievous , both good at what they did . best friends til the end of time even if the time was short lived . so naturally people thought it would be the same with their kids and yet they were very wrong. It was like the two were fire and ice constantly going against each other whenever they got close . there was a break she went to med school as bradley was back at top gun only for their secret feud to fire back up when she was transferred to a hospital right in san diego and of course she was able to win the hearts of the dagger squad and her turning up to the hard deck it was his worst nightmare come true . if they weren’t locked in the childish back and forth it was ignoring the other existence all together which honestly their friends preferred and as aggravating as y/n mitchell could be nothing was going to dampen bradley bradshaws mood tonight. He almost floated over to his friends the moment he step into the hard deck . the smile on his face was almost cheek splitting when they all looked at him .
“ guess who got a date with the barista” he flashed his dazzling smile pulling the aviator to perch on his nose .
“ nice even for you chicken” hangman nodded.
“ well bagman you know i could give you some advice , i mean i guess it been a dry spell” he shrugged taking his seat beside phoenix who rolled her eyes and called them both “ disgusting pigs”.
“ yeah i don’t need advice we both now i do well and even better than you” .
“ god you both ever gonna tire of the hook ups “ she groaned .
“ hey this could be best date of my life and she could be the one” bradley smirked.
Before they could even say more the door open and an excited y/n bounded towards them .
“ i pass the interview i passed it” she yelled excitedly.
“ wait the internship in new york?” nat asked unsure of how to feel .
“ yes it’s not til six month from now but in six month i will be heading to big city and studying under the greats of pediatrics “ she excitedly dance in her spot barely even sparing the usually happy man in her wake.
“A date with hot ass woman and she leaving jesus this is my lucky day” rooster felt like crying he was so happy.
“ in six month pornstache … wow playing in the dog park finally worked out good job” she smiled only for jake to lift her up and spin her around .
“Knew you could do it , what i tell you this morning” he chuckled ruffling her hair.
“ not to doubt myself “ she smiled bashfully . “ shit there’s my dad i’ll be back “ she giggled rushing off .
“ or don’t that’s a good option “ rooster smiled.
“ i don’t get why you don’t like her” fanboy mused .
“ because you’ll learn like i did she’ll drop you like that no reason” he rolled his eyes sick of his friend constantly going on about how great she was honestly he thought the same one time and well he learned his lesson .
“ people change or maybe you done something “ jake mused although he may of know more than he let on giving how close he and y/n got over the two years since she came to san diego.
“ day that happens i’ll sell my bronco “ bradley scoffed. “ going to the mens room if my date comes tell her i’ll be out in a minute” .
She stood watching the news sinking in from excitement to straight on nerves . hoping he would show even a hint of happiness for her .
“ it’s great news but we .. i just got you back” he smiled uneasy .
“ it’s only a short flight and i’ll be home for holidays come on dad this is once in a lifetime opportunity i’m literally the youngest and female to be accepted on to this programme “ she almost pleaded with him .
“ how long is it”
“ two years with a chance to stay on in new york or head back to my residency here which i will because it will earn my spot on more paid job and more opportunities it’s only two years and i can visit” she repeated .
“ well i still got you for six months so i better make most of it i am proud of you but your my baby girl too … penny round on me to celebrate my daughters great work” he smiled sadly although he meant it when he said he was proud .
“ i’ll have this one with you next one with the guys “ she smiled .
“ sorry i was suppose to meet someone here and i don’t think i can see him “ a woman called making them turn .
“ who you looking for honey “ penny beamed
“ bradley bradshaw oh god i have the wrong place don’t i “ she chuckled .
“ the wrong man i’d run if i was you” another woman scoffed.
“ you sure he was charming when i met him “ the girls eyes widened .
“ really rooster is great guy , don’t listen cheryl she as bitter as those gins “ y/n smiled .
“ yeah great guy when he and hangman used me as pawn in their who can sleep with most women game , i think i was number 8 made me think i was special never felt the spark like it “
“ she’s drunk really rooster is great , he’s sweet and listens to good music “ y/n defended more although she didn’t know why he was an ass to her all time even though he was one that hurt her all those years.
“ sure look he already over there high fiving his friend “ cheryl smirked as the other girl eyes narrowed before y/n could say anything the woman was barrelling over like a storm .
Now as bradley looked up ready to greet his date what he didn’t expect was the slap across his face or the anger of a bull on her.
“ you bastard i thought .. shit i thought one decent guy out there til that woman set me straight “ she pointed over at cheryl although bradley misread it now he was pissed.
“ whatever she said was crock of shit trust me” he defended.
“ so you and some guy called hangman didn’t have a sleezy contest i will not be a part of delete my number asshole “ was all she said before storming out the bar completely .
“ she has got some nerve” was all bradley said before he storming towards the bar only he wasn’t going for the right person .
“ what the hell is your problem what me being happy isn’t good enough you have to ruin it “ he pulled y/n around as she almost looked shocked.
“ i didn’t … i didn’t do anything” she stuttered out completely confused.
“ yeah you told her about stupid game me and hangman had … do you really like ruining things for me i mean life was great til you showed up here making everyone think your some little sweetheart when in actuality your’re a cold hearted bitch” he scoffed.
“ and you said he was a great guy” cheryl laughed .
“ i guess i was wrong, drop dead rooster “ y/n walked off ignoring everyone’s calls .
“ shit that girl defended you after i told your date what your really like jesus thanks for proving me right”cheryl saunter off playing her bill and leaving .
“ wait wait what “ he froze .
“ rooster what the hell .. you two used to love each other now god your at each others throat but never like that ... i thought you were better than that .. godson or not you talk to her like that again we’re gonna have problems “ mav warned as he headed out the door . leaving bradley looking like biggest dickhead in the hard deck head low and tail between his legs he headed back to the table the guys were bar nat and jake who probably fixing his fuck up .
“ wow harsh man” payback whistled lowly .
“ yeah not my finest moment “ he grumbled .
That sentence was like a mantra on his tongue hell he didn’t want to admit it the dry spell he was having which after his outburst completely extended it first couple of week no girl would even look his way hitting another bust as he headed back to the rest of his squad as y/n sat with jake as far as she could barely even looking his way til she ended up smiling at her phone and bidding the rest a farewell , he didn’t want to admit it but the complete freeze out was worse than before the fact she didn’t even give him a second thought was driving him crazy maybe the dry spell was affecting him more than he thought .
“ guess it was a bust” fanboy smirked.
“ losing your status rooster” javy laughed ,
“ maybe it for the best between him and hangman they going to sleep through san diego or that was case” bob chuckled .
“ now what i would love to see is either of them try a relationship they would fold the second things get serious” payback pointed out .
“ ok first ouch bob i’m nothing like bagman and second i could do serious relationship with any girl “ he stood hand on hips .
“ not any girl “ bob mused .
“ baby on board is right not any girl “ jake leaned against the pool table maybe it was a risk and shit if it ended badly well he would hate it but he could see it , he could see it the moment she walked into the hard deck two years ago .
“ i’d bet my bronco on it “ bradley stood falling into the trap hook line and sinker .
“ you sure you wanna bet on something you’ll lose chicken ?” he goaded willing him to take the bait .
“ fuck it your on bagman name her , point her out” he stood toe to toe with the man .
“ easy y/n “ that damn smile , the cocky one rooster loved to wipe of his face and yet this one was gonna be tough shit did he have it in him. “ you really are a chicken on it “ he had him hook , line
“ your on “ sinker .

Your body feels hot, brushing against Jungkook's firm chest that confirms your assumptions of him working out more than he used to. This man is full of muscle, yet he's not overdoing it.
You've danced for the past ten minutes, ever since you've seen Kiko standing a few meters away with a great view of the two of you. It's like nothing has happened, and Jungkook went back to grinding his body against yours, touching your hips in a sensual way but he never went past your lower back, making sure he doesn't cross any line.
It's kind of shocking how breathless and hot he's leaving you, goosebumps spreading all over your body with a familiar tingle in your lower belly. It's only natural that your body reacts this way to him. He's hot and knows how to move his hips. And maybe your lack of sex has something to do with it as well.
"I'm gonna get something to drink. You want some?" he leans down, yelling over the music as you notice sweat coating the side of his neck. It's not too much, and rather than feeling disgust with it, you find yourself glancing at it with alluring eyes.
Dancing with Jungkook is one hell of a ride, and there's no competing with his huge stamina. So, your body starts to feel the first signs of exhaustion as soon as you stop dancing, staring at your best friend. He notices the sour look on your face that makes him laugh, his nose wrinkling along with the end of his eyes.
"No, I'm good!" you yell over the loudness as well. "I'm gonna go back and sit down!"
Turning around, he watches you to make your way towards the booth. He catches a glimpse of you talking with the woman who sat with all of you, a woman whose name he can't remember. With a sigh, he turns towards a bar and makes his way there.
There are three bartenders behind a bar in total, one of them taking his order as he quickly goes to make Jungkook his drink. He stands there, fingers tapping against the wooden desk as he patiently waits. He feels a presence, someone standing a few centimeters away from him and he doesn't pay too much attention to it, watching the bartender do his job. There's nothing else for him to do.
"Jungkook," Fuck, he knows that voice.
With a quick whip of his head, he stares at his ex girlfriend with wide eyes before his brows furrow.
"Hi." she says, giving him the best imitation of a smile that makes his blood boil.
Hi? That's all she has to say? This is the first time since he's seen her from their break-up, face to face in this kind of proximity.
But fuck, is she beautiful. Her hair is decorated in big waves, framing her small face that is barely touched with make up, but enough for her to sharpen her features and dark eyes. His heart beats so fast and for some reason, he hates himself for that. He hates how easily she makes him feel this way, from only just standing there and looking at him.
"Hey," he breathes out, not even budging as he keeps staring at her and admiring her beauty.
"I'm glad you're having fun," she says, looking as if she's not really sure what to say and Jungkook recognizes her fumbling with her ring as a sign of nervousness. A ring he gave her. "Ah, I'm sorry. I'm not really sure what to say. I just wanted to talk to you." she admits, crinkling her nose as her cheeks flush embarrassingly.
He doesn't have the heart to be mad at her, nor annoyed that she came up to him. He feels the opposite, actually. It means she cares and she's still wearing a ring he gave her.
"Yeah, my friends finally got me out." he chuckles, silently admitting to her that he's been stuck at home but she's smart, she probably caught on to the hidden meaning behind his words.
And by the saddened smile, he knows she really did.
"Same," she mutters, still enough for him to hear.
Same? Was she stuck at home as well? Wasn't she the only one who broke up with him?
For some reason, he thought she started to live her life with no regrets since she wanted to try something new — whatever that means. Knowing that their breakup might not be so easy for her makes him feel more at ease. It means that she cares and there's still hope.
"I'm sorry," she blurts out all of a sudden. "I know this might be weird for you. I shouldn't have come up to you, but I wanted to say hi."
"It's okay, I'm glad we can still talk to each other." he tells her quietly, causing her to nod in approval.
"I... How are you? Are you good?" she stutters, carefully eyeing him as if she's waiting for him to snap.
The silence that follows after, doesn't help at all and she's ready to cough in embarrassment when Jungkook opens his mouth.
"I'm good," he answers, staring at the bottles of alcohol that's organized by a color. He took his time to answer her questions. He can't exactly tell her that he's hopeless without her and he wishes she'd come back to him, when he's supposed to be fake dating you.
"And you?" He eyes her, noticing how she dryly swallows before giving him a little smile.
"Yeah," she answers, bruising Jungkook's heart even more but he awkwardly nods. "I saw you with Y/N. Are you guys dating?"
And there it is.
He hoped she'd bring you into this conversation, this is the moment he was waiting for. Yet, he feels like an asshole.
When they both started to date, he introduced you to her as his best friend. She was totally fine with it and there weren't that many opportunities for the two of you to hang out anyway. He usually spent all of his free time with her, and if it was with you, she was never present. Not even once, she questioned his feelings towards her or your friendship. But she did ask him if the two of you ever kissed, just out of pure curiosity. Which you didn't back then, but now you've and for some reason, he feels guilty.
"Yes," he breathes out, before she can question his silence and the invisible thoughts running through his mind.
"I'm sorry," she blurts out, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear as she avoids Jungkook's eyes. "It's inappropriate of me to ask you that."
"It's okay," he waves her off, a murmur of 'thanks' falling out of his mouth when a bartender slides his drink to him. He pulls out his wallet and pays for his drink, before he turns back to Kiko. "Are you seeing someone?"
He can't help but ask that, his ears perking and eyes focused on her as she shakes her head slowly. A breath of relief almost escapes his mouth, but he hides it perfectly when he takes a sip of his drink.
"You want something to drink?" he asks her, noticing the way she awkwardly shifts on her spot.
"Nah, thank you. I'm not drinking tonight,"
He doesn't ask her the reason behind her choice, knowing she likes to let loose from time to time.
"Hoseok kind of made me come here," she chuckles, causing him to grin knowing Hoseok's persistence. "Which reminds me he's probably looking for me. It was nice catching up with you, Kookie."
He dryly gulps at the nickname, reminded of all those times when she called him like that. It brings a wave of nostalgia straight to his core, causing his heart to clench.
With a last wave of her slim hand, she turns around and walks into the crowd while Jungkook watches her for the whole time, until she disappears and is out of his sight. Sighing, he grabs his drinks and goes back to the booth where his friends are.
"It was so nice meeting you!" Hattie says, hugging you as if she knew you for months but you go along with it, finding it sweet.
This is her last night in Seoul, and you've just spent at least ten minutes talking to her. It was mainly her who was talking, telling you how you and your friends are so sweet and friendly. You kind of feel bad, since you haven't been talking to her as much as Jimin might have. She barely knows you, all of you, but she still has something nice to say.
"It was nice meeting you too! I wish I had more time to get to know you!" you tell her loudly, making sure she hears you while she just waves her hand and smiles at you.
When she's gone, you make your way to the booth where Taehyung and Jimin are sitting. They're talking, until you plop down and sigh in exhaustion. They stare at you with open mouths and before you can ask them what's with their faces, Jimin's loud voice booms even through the music.
"What the hell? Were we just seeing you and Jungkook making out?"
Oh, yeah.
Your lips still tingle from the best kiss you've ever had, but you won't admit that to Jungkook. That guy already has a big ego. Hattie somehow cleared your mind off it for a moment, but now your mind travels back to what has happened tonight. And it's time to explain yourself, going with Jungkook's plan.
Kiko saw you. Jimin and Taehyung saw you.
It seems easy – this whole fake dating thing.
"Yes?" you ask unsure, growing embarrassed that they've seen the whole thing.
You can't be really surprised by Jimin's shocked tone, knowing how the two of you always assured everyone that you've never kissed and never will. As much as everyone thought there had to be that one time when it just happened, but no. You both had your boundaries and kissing was where you draw the line. But now, it happened and you've some explaining to do.
It's none of their business, but they're your friends.
"I've never thought I would see the day where the two of you would kiss," Taehyung says, his mouth still hanging open as Jimin nods, agreeing with him. "Are you guys fucking or what?"
"Tae!" Jimin exclaims, causing his friend to shrug his shoulders innocently.
You feel bad, because you're supposed to lie to them right now and they stare at you in confusion, seeing the way your mouth opens and closes. Before you can utter a single word, there is a body sitting next to you, an arm wrapped around your shoulders before you're pulled towards a warm body.
You stare at Jungkook with wide eyes, noticing the way he grins at you before he kisses your temple. He opens his mouth, his voice filling the silence between all of you once again.
"Actually, we're dating."

Bodysitting gone wrong
I thought that the site had only verified sitters. Imagine my surprise when I found out my body had disappeared. He didn't answer any of my calls and even blocked me ony the Bodysitting site. I contacted the support, but they said they need some proof of violation of the contract.
Let me just make it clear to you. I am a manager for a big company. My work life is stressful as it is. Me and my wife just had our first baby and I swear I love them both, but I just can't stand it. I needed to get some rest for a while. Until my colleague suggested a Bodysitting site. Where verified strangers can agree to swap life with you for some financial ammount and pretend to be you. You either continue their life or if you pay up you can do whatever you want. Which was exactly what I wanted.
I set up a profile a submitted my photo. Because of my muscular torso and probably even the dick size and wife I mentioned, the request kept flowing in.
I eventually choose Rick here. He was young, handsome and even here in the same city, so if anything happened I could always come by. We had a whole conversation where he would ask me details about my life, work, wife everything. He really wanted to be good as me.
The swap was instant. I was suddenly in a small apartement on the edge of the city.
I think I chose perfectly. I can even get a date in this body.
As I said before, I really love my life. But we haven't had sex for such a long time. You have to understand.
Back to present
I got a call of thepossible whereabouts of the location of my body. Yeah, I have to be honest. I was horrified when I arrived there. The place was a gay club. But not one of those "sweet" bars. But a pub for those leather fuckers.
I entered and all eyes were on me. Fuck, I didn't realise that this kid is exactly who they want.
But they I saw my body coming out of the bathroom. I wouldn't almost recognise it if it weren't for the beard.
"What the hell have you done?!?"
"Oh hey, that's a face I didn't expect to see so soon. Want something to drink?"
"No, I want you to explain to my why you did everythig we agreed not to do. You got me tatooed, got my nipples pierced and please tell me that's not a mohawk under that hat?"
"You know what, you don't have to worry about that anymore. I know how you were unhappy with your life, so I decied to give you a present. You can keep the body. Great right?"
"What do you mean keep the body? What have you done with my life?"
"Well. Your wife kind of figured out I'm not you the second night after she caught me in the shower fingering your butt. I explained to her and I think you shouldn't get near her any time soon. Anyway none of this matters. I deleted the profile, so there is no going back if there aren't both of the original profiles that made the deal."
"I'm gonna kill you!" I jumped at him, but in a second I was pressed against the wall with a hand on my neck.
"Look, either you leave and nothing happens to you. Or me and the boys here can show why not to threaten any of us. So, what you wanna do?"
I obviously left. What was I suppose to do? He would beat me up, rape me or even kill me. I contacted the support and even their number was blocked now. Amazing. I hope my wife is into twinks

Clarisse La rue X reader
a/n: I DONT KNOW WHAT IM DOING?? But I’m yeah here’s this heavily Taylor swift inspired some heated making out but nothing more cliffhanger enjoy or don’t idk man
ᨒ↟ ⋆。° ᨒ↟ ⋆。° ᨒ↟ ⋆。° ᨒ↟ ⋆。° ᨒ↟ ⋆。° ᨒ↟ ⋆。° ᨒ
Dating Clarisse La rue was a bad idea.
It’s all anyone could tell you the moment you fell for her, even Clarisse herself tried to talk you out dating her.
But there was nothing she could do or say that could make you not want her.
The way her lips felt against yours, the way her hands brushed against your body, the way she made you felt when it was just you and her, no amount of rumors could change the way you felt about her.
“Loose lips sink ships all the damn time, but not this time.”
Tonight was a night like any other, you were at the bonfire grabbing a drink your girlfriends hands on your waistline and like always the vultures that were your fellow campers had some things to say.
They’d never say anything not to your faces atleast everyone was too scared of Clarisse, but the way they stared made it seem like you two were monsters begging to be hunted. You tried not to care but that part just always seemed to infuriate you.
“Wandering eyes?” Your girlfriend whispered into your ear noticing your expression.
You nodded rolling your eyes and then moving your eyes back onto your girlfriend.
“Hey you wanna go somewhere?” You asked sipping at your drink trying to get rid of the feeling that you were prey to your peers.
“Is it that bad?” She asked her hand moving and making its way to cup your cheek.
“No it’s just-gods it pisses me off like it’s been months and this shit is still happening” you said a bit of frustration in your voice. Clarisse hated seeing you like this but she had to admit, you’re hot when you’re angry.
“Where’d you have in mind?”
“I know places”
“After you then” Clarrise smirked chucking your cup into the trash before following closely behind you into the forest.
You had discovered this spot your first day at camp while trying to find your way around for the first time. What you thought was a shortcut turned out to be a path straight to a creek deep into the forest, you were lost for two hours until your protector found you. The creek was calming, secluded, even when your were lost. And since that day had been your spot. Once you and clarisse got together you were more than glad to share it with her. Sure you had plenty of spots but this was your favorite, you knew no one could ever get to you here.
You sat down against a rock by the water clarisse following next to you as you watched the moonlights reflection on the water.
“I thought people would’ve moved on by now” you said as you shifted to look at your girlfriend resting your head on her shoulder.
“I wouldn’t stop talking about you either” She teased.
“You know what I mean” you scoffed. “Why do people have to care so much about who I date?”
“Well it’s hard not to be obsessed with you” Clarisse said pulling you closer so you were on top of her.
“You’re impossible” you chuckled as you rolled your eyes at her, her hands resting comfortably on your waist.
“Ouch?” She said as she dramatically clutched her heart. “You sound just like them”
“Well most of the rumors are true aren’t they?” You laughed as she pulled you in the feeling of your lips pressed together sending electricity through your body before she pulled away, her breath heavy as she spoke.
“Please you know wouldn’t trade this for the world, it’s always gonna be me.”
It was true. You’d hide from the world for the rest of your life if you could feel like this forever.
Her hand moved up to your waist as she pulled you back in continuing to kiss you. You could tell she was desperate, needy, she wanted to shut everyone out just as much as you did.
It was cause of this that it came as a surprise when she pulled away abruptly.
“Did you hear that?” She whispered panically
“Hear what-?”
The sound of leaves crunching filled the forest.
Shit.shit shit shit. was all could think as you tried to get off of her. Was it an animal? Was it a monster? Was it a person? How long had it been there?
The sound of leaves got closer.
“Come on” she whispered looking behind the rock you two were sitting against.
“Where?” You asked frantically.
“Just grab my hand and don’t ever drop it.”

meeting spencer at a bar and he gets super confident out of no where and sweeps reader off their feet lmao
This was so fun and silly to write. Love you all <3

The music was loud. You were standing at the bar, waiting for the bartender to come over to you. Your good friend Angela was in town for Vidcon and she insisted you come out with her and meet her friends. You weren’t much of a partier but you hadn’t seen Angela in so long that you couldn’t pass up the opportunity.
You had gone to college with Angela, she quickly became one of your best friends. You were heartbroken when you had to leave LA, receiving an opportunity you couldn’t refuse.
It was like the bartender disappeared. You decided to sit down, still not seeing Angela inside. You knew she was on her way but you assumed it took a minute to leave Vidcon considering the fame smosh had amassed.
—
“Oh my god! I’m so excited!” Angela gushed, sitting in the uber with Spencer and Amanda.
“Hey Spencer, do you think she's excited?” Amanda asked teasingly.
“This girls gotta be the best with how much praise you’ve given her.” Spencer remarked, having heard almost nothing but things about you since the plans were solidified.
“I'm serious Spencer! I think you’re gonna love her! You gotta talk to her.” She demanded.
“Okay we’ll see.” Spencer compromised.
—
Amanda and Angela beelined it for the bathroom the second they got to the bar, leaving Spencer alone. He made his way to the bar, waiting to order a soda. He stood there for a minute, not seeing a worker behind the bar.
“I honestly think he went missing.” You commented, noticing the way the curly haired man was looking back and forth.
“What?” He asked, turning to find the voice.
“I’ve been waiting for like 6 minutes.” You laughed, fixing the strap on your top. “I just want a sprite man.”
Spencer zero’d in on you, focusing on your voice over the loud music. He looked you up and down, taking you in. “You come to a bar for just a sprite?” He asked, stepping a bit closer to you. “I think there’s a McDonalds down the street and it's like 2 dollars there.”
You laughed, throwing your head back slightly. “You don’t say? I’m actually meeting a friend.” You explained.
“Oh shit, that sounds like a date.” Spencer put his hands up, “Didn’t mean to harsh your vibe.”
He was cute you thought, in a kinda nerdy way. Unfortunately, that was just your type. He had brown hair that curled slightly, especially around the nape of his neck you noticed. He was wearing a Creed shirt with a denim jacket over it, his glasses complimenting his eyes. He seemed familiar too, you weren’t sure why, granted he was a white guy and you lived in california so there were a lot of white guys.
“Actually, do I know you?” You asked, with a scrutinizing stare, using this as an opportunity to really look at him.
“I don’t think so, but I’d like it if you would.” Spencer said, shocked at his forwardness.
“Oh? Care to make that happen for me?” You asked, curious about the stranger in front of you. “Tell me about yourself.”
Spencer had completely forgotten about Angela and Amanda. They hadn’t come to find him and some other friends were also coming so he assumed they met up with them, maybe Courtney or Erin. Frankly he couldn’t care less either. He had a beautiful and seemingly witty woman in front of him that he was confidently talking to, who cared about his friends? He introduced himself to you, providing a more formal greeting.
The establishment was large but especially crowded in front of the bar, even with the M.I.A bartender. Spencer grabbed your hand and led you to a more quiet booth against a wall. The tall backing in the booth providing extra privacy for you. Before he sat down Spencer took off his jacket, folding it over and placing it beside him, giving you a new view of his arms. He had tattoos on both of them. You couldn’t help but stare, your eyes darting across the many different patches of ink.
“You like ‘em?” Spencer asked, noticing your gaze.
“I like the ones I can see.” You replied.
“Here.” He said, sliding into the booth next to you and rolling his sleeve up, exposing more ink.
You moved in closer, carefully examining each tattoo. “Thwomp, classy.”
“At least you know who he is.”
“I think I know all of these characters,” You looked, noting each of the pokemon, cartoon, and game characters. Your eyes stopping on a small rectangular character, “Except maybe this guy.” You traced the tattoo, looking up to the man, who you now know to be Spencer, for an explanation.
“That’s boxman.”
“Points for accuracy I suppose.” You giggled. “Do you have any more? Or just on your arms?”
“I have others, wanna see?” He asked, smirking.
“If you’re about to show me a waluigi tattoo on your left buttcheek…” You trailed off, “Count me in.”
Spencer laughed hard at this. Your humor seemed to match his very well. “You still down if it’s on my right buttcheek?” He asked, piling onto your joke.
“I’ve gotta draw the line somewhere Spencer.” You remarked.
His stomach flipped at the use of his name, something about the way it sounded coming from you was so right. He couldn’t help but stare. You looked almost ethereal, even in the dim lighting of the bar.
You had been engrossed in your conversation with Spencer, you hadn’t noticed your phone buzzing every few seconds. You unlocked your phone to 14 missed texts and 4 calls from Angela. The messages beginning with “Hey I’m here!” to “meet me at the bar” and “Where are you?” “God now I can’t find my other friend”.
“Oh fuck!” You exclaimed.
“What's wrong?”
“Remember how I said I was meeting a friend?”
“Not really… but yeah?”
“Yeah me neither, that’s the issue. She's here and I’ve been ignoring her.” You explained, immediately feeling guilty. “I gotta go but it was nice meeting you!”
You began to walk away, Spencer having moved to let you leave the booth. You stopped for a moment before turning around and crossing the few feet back to Spencer. “Since I’m leaving I just wanna say you’re really cute.”
You walked away before he could say anything, making your way around the bar until you found Angela.
“I am so sorry Angela oh my god!” You said, swiftly walking up to her. “I got distracted by this super cute guy, which is no excuse.”
“It’s okay, I’m just so glad to see you!” Angela replied, throwing her arms around you. “It’s been too long.”
“God I know!” You huffed, “Oh! Did you ever find your other friend?” You asked, remembering her text.
“Not yet, I’m sure he’ll turn up.” Angela reassured. “Let me introduce you to some people!” She led you a table down, getting the attention of everyone. “Guys! This is one of my best friends from college! Meet Y/N!”
“It’s really great to meet you all!” You smiled, looking around the table.
People began introducing themselves. The introductions made their way around the table before Alex, who was sitting across from you, noted, “We’re just missing Spencer.”
“S-Spencer?” You asked, slightly choking on the water Angela had gotten you.
“Yeah, that’s the other friend I can’t find.” Angela explained.
“Uh.. He doesn’t happen to have a denim jacket does he? Or a lot of tattoos? Notably a thwomp and large crab on his arm?”
“Yes, that's exactly him!” Angela approved. “You see him?”
You sighed deeply, realizing you had been accidentally ignoring her for her very attractive friend. “I met him, uh, yeah… You know how I told you about that ‘Super cute’ guy?”
“No way..” Angela said, immediately putting two and two together.
Speak of the devil and he shall appear, Spencer walked up to the table, a coke in hand, not noticing you. Until Alex tried to introduce you two. You both froze for a moment, shocked, then quickly broke into fits of laughter.
Spencer walked over to you, placing a hand on the small of your back as you both laughed. “We, uh, we met.” Spencer managed to get out, stifling his laughter.
You found his laugh to be wonderful, like the sweetest music. It was dorky and yet so attractive.
“I told you you would like her!!” Angela exclaimed.
“I never said I liked her.” Spencer shut her down, sarcastically.
You placed your hand on his shoulder, turning him slightly to face you. “Oh? You don’t like me?” You asked incredulously with a raised brow and a smirk. “I can totally leave.”
“I wouldn’t do all that.” He laughed, putting an arm around your waist and pulling you into his side.
“Yeah that’s what I thought.” You flirted.
—
You caught up with Angela, telling each other about what had been happening in your lives. All while Spencer was by your side. After a little while Spencer untangled himself to go to the bathroom.
“Holy shit.” Angela laughed, “He really likes you, damn.”
“He must do this to all women.” You waved her off. Even though he was kinda dorky, the confidence he held with you had to be a regular thing for him.
“Y/N.. he doesn’t talk to women.. And he's got his arm around you?? I don’t know what it is but damn he wants you bad! I’ve literally never seen him like this.”
You thought about her words. You weren’t a super confident person either but something about Spencer was just easy to be around, maybe he felt the same about you. It was extra flattering knowing you were both sober and he just genuinely liked you.
—
A few hours passed, people slowly leaving and heading back to their hotels. Finally you were about to say your goodbyes, giving Angela a hug and a promise to make your way to LA soon.
“I guess this is goodbye Spencer.” You noted, sticking your hands in your pockets.
“It doesn’t have to be.” He countered.
“Oh?”
“I mean if you need company tonight I’m free.” He offered, running a hand through his hair. His gorgeous hair.
“You don’t have any big youtube commitments in the morning?” You teased.
“Not one.” He punctuated, giving you a long look up and down.
Your face heated and stomach flipped at the insinuation. “My cars out front then.”
“Lead the way.”

Chapter 7 // Chapter 9
A date.
An actual date with Aemond.
Not just hanging out. A real, legit date.
As you paced back and forth across your room, you continually wiped your hands on your jeans. “Hel, I'm so nervous,” you admitted to your friend.
She was sitting on your bed while you were getting ready.
“I'm sure you'll be okay. It's just Aemond,” she tried to reassure you.
You laughed. “‘Just Aemond,’” you echoed. “This is the guy I've been in love with since I was little. We both know that. I'm just now getting the balls to go out with him despite all this push and pull between us!”
Helaena squealed. “Thank the gods, you've finally admitted it!”
“It's no secret between us that I've loved Aemond, Hel.” You gave her a look. “You caught me loving him when I gave him his sapphire.”
Helaena sighed wistfully. “That was a beautiful moment,” she recalled. “You two were so cute back then! Don't get me wrong, you still are, but two little kids in love are way cuter.”
“You were little, too!” You laughed.
“Yes, but I was observant.”
“I just,” you covered your face with your hands, trying to hide the blush on your cheeks. “I just can't believe this is happening.”
“It's happening, and it's real, and I'm so happy for you.” Helaena got up and hugged you tight. “Don't forget your necklace.”
You smiled. “I will never not wear it anymore.”
“Okay, while you finish up, I'm gonna get the car started. It's cold.” Helaena gave you one last quick hug, then walked out of the room.
Looking at yourself in the mirror, you smiled at yourself. There were still hints of a blush on your cheeks. Since you asked Aemond out, and he said yes, you haven't been able to stop smiling. This is what many years have led up to: a date with your best friend.
You followed your friend’s footsteps and went out to the car. Once you got in, Helaena squealed again.
“I'm just so excited!” She squeaked.
“Calm down, Hel,” you laughed. “It's just one date. It's not like we've never hung out before.”
“It's a date!”
“Just drive me to the park, please.” A smile was plastered on your face.
“Okay, okay, I'm going.” And off she drove.
You saw Aemond as you arrived at the park. He was standing underneath a sign that said King's Landing Park. His hair was half up in a bun and half down, his eye patch stark against his skin. He looked like a vision. You’ve always admired how beautiful he was, but this was something else.
As you stepped out of the car, a cold gust of wind hit you in the face. Your face scrunched up briefly, and when you opened your eyes, Aemond was right there in front of you.
“Hey, Aems,” you said, a blush covering your face.
“Hey.” His cheeks matched yours.
Despite the cold, you knew he wasn't red because of it. You've known his feelings for years, and finally, you've accepted your own.
“So…” you rocked back and forth. “What do you wanna do?”
“How about let's just walk and talk?” He offered.
“Yeah, I'm good with that.” You smiled at him.
Aemond offered his hand. For a second, you just stared at it, not believing you could actually hold his hand. Gingerly, you took it and intertwined your fingers. Aemond gently pulled you along to leave the entrance of the park, ready to venture in.
Holding his hand sent sparks of happiness through you. But you couldn't help but wonder if he held Alys’ hand like this, too. When you saw them earlier, you noticed their fingers weren't intertwined. Which could mean nothing, but it could also mean everything. You shook the thought from your head, refusing to let the mere thought of Alys darken your date.
Playfully, you began to swing your arm back and forth and begin a light skip. Hearing a chuckle next to you, you turned your head to look at Aemond. “What?” You smiled.
“You're just so happy.” Aemond flushed. “You're cute.”
You stopped your skipping to turn to face him. Letting go of his hand, you wrapped your arms around his waist. “Are you getting a little crush on me?” You playfully teased him.
“No, I absolutely hate you.” Aemond rolled his eye. “Yes, I have a very big crush on you. I'm surprised it took you this long to figure it out.” He bumped his forehead against yours.
Giggling, you pulled him close and pressed a kiss to his cheek. “It's not that it took me so long, it's that I was scared,” you clarified.
Aemond hummed. “Not much better.”
You playfully slapped his arm and took a step back. “Oh, whatever.” Reaching back for his hand, you said, “Let's just enjoy the time together.” Looking up at him, you took in his beautiful sapphire, the one you gave him.
When you brought a hand up to cup his cheek, Aemond leaned into it, craving your touch. Gently, you pulled him down, eagerly wanting to meet him in the middle. Your lips were about to meet when -
“Aems, baby!” Came a voice you never wanted to hear again.
Instantly, you stiffened up and squeezed Aemond's hand. Like hell were you going to let him go now.
Aemond robotically moved to face the voice. “Hello, Professor Rivers,” he said coolly. He squeezed your hand back.
“I haven't seen you in a while, baby,” Alys cooed. She took a few steps forward until her eyes landed in your entwined hands. “And what are you doing here with my man?”
“He's not your man,” you growled.
“Oh, I beg to differ,” Alys smirked. “Come here, Aemond.” She beckoned him with a hand like a dog.
Aemond stood rooted to the spot. He did not move. “I stopped being ‘your man’,” he spat out the last word, “when you cheated on me.”
Alys put her hand down. “It was a moment of weakness, sweetie.”
“Don't call me that.”
“Why not? You loved it when I called you that. Especially when I would -”
“STOP.” Aemond was breathing hard.
Your heart plummeted at the thought of Aemond being intimate with Alys but his diversion quickly gained your attention.
“You used me, and you humiliated my best friend. You were a mistake,” Aemond said. He squeezed your hand once more. “You are my biggest regret, Professor Rivers, and I will do everything I possibly can to erase you.”
Alys tilted her head. “Oh, but sweetie -”
“Stop calling him that,” you interrupted her.
Alys rolled her eyes and continued, “You will never be able to forget me.”
Aemond began to shake. “Leave.”
“It's a public park. I can be here if I want,” she countered. She walked up to Aemond and ran a hand down his chest. “And I'm sure you still want me here,” she whispered.
Alys had you seeing red. That was all that was in your line of vision. Without even realizing you were moving, you let go of Aemond’s hand and shoved Alys to the ground, where she landed unceremoniously on her butt.
“Get. Away.” You emphasized each word by taking a step closer to her.
Alys laughed. “Assaulting a professor? I could get you suspended or worse.”
“Having an affair with a student? I could get you fired,” you countered.
Alys' eyes narrowed as she got up. “You wouldn't dare. Your lovely boyfriend here would get in trouble, too.”
Aemond took a step to you and took your hand in his again. “That's something I'm willing to risk for her.”
“Fine,” Alys huffed. “Destroy yourself if you want. Don't say I didn't warn you. Oh, and you,” she turned her attention to you. “Aemond has this spot, right behind his ear, that he absolutely goes crazy for. You should kiss it sometime. And don't forget to touch him. He loves it.” With a wink Alys turned on her heel and went to leave the park.
There was lead in your heart, but you ignored it the best you could and tried to push it away. Aemond tugged on your hand and led you to a bench underneath a willow tree. It billowed in the wind, and the leaves rustled above you.
You swallowed. “Is it true? What she said?”
Aemond looked down and closed his eye. “Yes.”
Gently, you removed your hand from his. “You were intimate with her?”
“Yes. But we never got further than… oral,” he mumbled carefully.
“Oh, okay.” You fiddled with your hands.
Silence fell upon the two of you. Unsure of what to do, you continued to play with your hands while Aemond looked off into the distance. Was he thinking about her touch? How she made him feel? Alys will always be a constant thought to him, whether he wants her to be or not.
“She's nothing to me,” Aemond whispered.
“But she was something to you at some point,” you countered.
Aemond shook his head. “I won't deny that I did care for her at one point but it was never like how I care about you.”
Giving him a soft smile, you said, “I never stopped caring about you, either.” You took a breath. “Let's just move on from this, from her.”
“Agreed,” Aemond nodded.
“So…what now?” You asked.
“Now, we continue with our lives.”
Gently cupping his face to turn him to you, you leaned in slowly. Aemond met you halfway and captured your lips in a soft kiss. A kiss full of promises and love.
When you separated, you smiled at him. “Let's go to your place. I'm not ready to hear Helaena fawn over us just yet.”When you arrived at Aemond’s apartment, he sat you on the couch. “We need to talk, and I think you’re going to agree with me.”
“Um, okay,” you said with worry etched on your face.
“I want to report Alys,” he said bluntly.
Your eyes widened in surprise. “Really? Even if you might have some consequences as well?”
“Yes. She can’t keep doing this. I was stupid, seeing her. She preys on other students like me and will continue to do so unless someone reports her.” Aemond got up and walked over to his desktop in the corner of the room, ready to put his plan into action.
“Aemond, are you sure you want to do this? There might be consequences for you, too,” you reminded him.
The two of you were sitting at Aemond’s laptop. He had an empty email pulled up, ready to type up his confession of having a relationship with a professor. Aemond was even willing to pull up screenshots of their text messages.
“I'm sure. She can't keep doing this. It's unethical and doesn't have a place at this university,” he said. “I made a mistake, and I'll take whatever punishment they give me.”
“Okay, if you're sure.”
Aemond began typing out his email. He was focused despite the guilt eating at him. After everything that happened, however, you couldn't stay mad at him. You could tell that typing this email was both freeing and eating him up from the inside out.
While he was typing it out, you wandered through the apartment. Aemond has put up photos of the two of you and of his family since getting together with you. It already felt more like him.
You looked over his shoulder as he attached screenshots of text messages. “You kept the texts. Why?” You couldn’t help but feel a little jealous and possessive of him when it came to Alys Rivers.
Aemond stopped typing and looked at you guiltily. “I couldn’t bring myself to. She made me… feel like I was worth having despite how fucked up it was. Don’t worry, I’m deleting them right away after this.”
You nodded your head. “I understand. I just don’t like the thought of her being anywhere near us now.”
“And she won’t be.”
You couldn't help the next words that came out of your mouth. “Voicemails? Pictures? Anything else of her?”
Aemond rubbed his face. “They've all been deleted, I promise.”
“Did you ever delete photos of us?”
“No, I couldn't bring myself to.” He reached out for your hand. “You're the one I want, no one else. I've never cared for anyone like I care for you. It's all you.”
“...okay.”
“You don't sound convinced.” Aemond’s face fell.
“It's not you, I promise it's not you.” Your heart hurt at the sight of him.
Hesitantly, Aemond pulled you into his lap after backing away from the desktop. “Do you want me to prove it to you?” He moved a hand to your thigh and slowly crawled it up.
You put a hand on his to stop him. “No, not like this. I don't want you to do this just because you feel like you have to.” You stopped. “Did Alys ever force herself on you?”
“She…pushed it a lot. She told me that that's what couples do; that they're intimate. I wanted to be good for her, so I did what she said.”
You froze. “She manipulated you, Aemond. Intimacy should never be forced.”
He looked down, embarrassed. “She made it sound like if I did it, she would like me better.”
“Gods, I'm so sorry, Aemond.” You moved to cradle his face in your hands and pressed your forehead against his. “I promise I love you, and I know you love me, too.” You let out a breath and pulled back. “Alys fucked with both of us, she really did. We'll heal. I know we will.”
“I want her gone. I want her out of my head. I want her out of your head,” Aemond said.
You gently kissed his forehead. “And soon she will.” You sighed. “Do you want to get back to work, or do you want to take a break?”
He wrapped his arms around your waist. “Let's take a break. Movie, maybe?”
“How about a movie after we bake some cookies? Just something sweet for the both of us,” you suggested.
Aemond dropped his jaw in mock surprise. “Am I not sweet enough for you?”
You laughed as you got off his lap. “You don't have chocolate chips in you, so no.”
“Shame. You’re sweet enough for me,” he winked.
“Great, more for me.” You smacked a kiss on his cheek and got off his lap.
Still holding his hand, you led him to the kitchen. He followed you everywhere, acting like a little shadow. You thought it was cute but you knew it was because he didn’t know his way around a kitchen.
“You really don’t know much about baking, do you?” You asked Aemond as you watched him pull out something that was not a baking sheet for the third time. “A sheet, Aemond. It’s a sheet of metal,” you laughed.
“There's a lot of things here!” He tried to protect himself.
Giving him a mocking, disapproving look, you walked over to him and pulled out a baking sheet.
“How was I supposed to know it was right there? It was hidden.”
You chuckled. “Just try to look around better next time. Now, come here,” you beckoned him. “All you have to do is dump these in the bowl. I measured everything while you were looking for the baking sheet.”
“Okay, I can do that,” Aemond laughed. “Although you and I both know my specialty is soup.”
Your heart warmed at the memory of Aemond bringing you soup when you were sick all those years ago. As long as you could remember, he's always thought of you, whether you knew he loved you or not.
“That was one of the best soups I've ever had,” you told him. “It warmed me up.”
Aemond nudged you as he poured the flour in. “Again, it's my specialty.”
You looked at the bowl. “Okay,” you clapped your hands once. “Now you're going to mix it. I don't see any mixer here, so you're going to have to do it by hand.”
Aemond sighed dramatically. “Physical labor?”
You stifled a laugh. “Yes, babe, physical labor.”
He walked over to a drawer and pulled out a wooden spoon. As he passed you, he patted your nose with the end of the spoon before continuing back to the bowl. Cautiously, he began to mix.
“Like this?” Aemond pretended not to know what to do.
Walking behind him, you wrapped your arms around his waist. “You're doing great, I promise.” Taking a deep breath, you inhaled his cologne and hugged him tighter. “I love you,” you whispered into his back.
Aemond froze but soon relaxed in your arms again. “I love you, too.”
Eating cookies on the couch with Aemond had moved up on the list of your favorite things to do. Apparently, you had measured the salt incorrectly, so the chocolate chip cookies turned out a little salty; luckily, they were still edible. You were curled into Aemond’s side, all snuggled up, chewing on the cookies as a movie played. Aemond’s arm held you tight while rubbing soothing circles on your back.
“I wish we could stay like this forever,” you muttered.
Aemond gave you a little squeeze, then a kiss on the head. “Me, too.”
Your interest in the movie was gone. Granted, it's been gone for a while; you were simply soaking up the moment. You couldn't help but think about what he told you earlier, that Alys coerced him into being intimate with her. That disgusted you and made you think about the many others she must have done this to as well. To be so manipulative, so cruel, so selfish to trick or nudge someone to do something they're hesitant about made you sick. No one should have to go through that, especially Aemond.
“I don't want us to be intimate until you're ready,” you blurted out.
Aemond looked at you, slightly confused by your outburst, but nodded.
“I just… it should be special. At least, I think it should be, your first time, at least. And I don't want to take your choice away. I don't want to be like Alys.”
Pausing the movie, Aemond pulled you into his lap and kissed you softly on the lips. He pressed his forehead against yours and took a deep breath. “You will never, never be like Alys. You actually care about me. I know now she never did. But you do.”
“I know now not to be scared. Wherever you go, I go, Aemond. You jump, I jump. Together forever, yeah?”
“Together forever.”
Capturing your lips in a kiss, Aemond’s hands spread across your waist. He gently dug his fingers in as though he was afraid you would disappear. Moving your hands to cup his face, you held him, kissing him with just as much love as he was. Your shirt rose up a bit, revealing the tiniest bit of skin, but Aemond was careful not to touch you there, not yet. As much as you craved the skin-on-skin contact, you would wait for him just as he waited for you.
When Aemond moved his kisses from your lips to your cheek and down your neck, you couldn't help the gasp that left your mouth. “Careful,” you breathed. “That's a sensitive spot.” Your eyes were closed in pleasure, but you kept your composure.
“Sorry,” he murmured against your neck.
“Don't be. I just want you to be sure.”
He pulled away from your neck but wouldn't look you in the eye. “I'm not ready yet, but I like making you feel good.”
“Then let's take a break,” you told him. “Your kisses make me feel good, and that's what matters. We can do the other stuff later, when you're ready.”
Aemond nodded his head as he pulled your shirt back down. He still wouldn't look you in the eye.
“It's okay, Aemond. I'm in no rush. We have forever.”
Finally, Aemond looked at you. “Forever.”

A/n: So...just like when I asked when I posted my first Calex fic; is my blog gonna turn into Marvel, SVU and Criminal Minds? Anywayyyy, first Emily fic✨ Yes…I’ll be taking requests🫢 I dunno if some things are accurate or not so bear with me but hope you enjoy this, leave comments, hearts, whatever you like and reblog so this gets some love🫶🏻
Part 2.
*not my gif*
If the team noticed Emily acting weird, they didn’t say anything about it. For the last two weeks, Emily had been acting strange, kind of off which was weird about Emily. Every once in a while, she’d crack a joke or even make fun of Morgan or Reid or anyone on the team, but nothing had been done. The cases they’ve had had been a bit of a pain, which could possibly be the reason why Emily had been acting so weird. Garcia was the first one to really say something to Emily, she had been teasing and trying to get information in case she had a secret boyfriend for the times she had been late to work, but Emily had stopped her from keep going and they just forgot about it for that moment. Reid then had asked her if she was okay and Emily had said that she was, even if she had started picking on her nails again and it was something that Reid had noticed she did when she was stressed, but again, Emily brushed it off.
The only person who could truly see Emily off work was Agent Y/n Carter, the one person that was the closest to Emily, who had always been there with Emily and for Emily, the one person that could really say that she knew more about Emily than anyone in the BAU. What they didn’t know is that y/n was not only the closest person to Emily in a friendly way, but they had been dating for the last year. No, it’s not that they didn’t trust the team, they loved them, they would do anything for them, but if they said anything about their relationship, which meant that there was a chance that they could be used against each other in case they got threatened or were hostages -which of course they hoped it never happened-. But they still wanted to keep the secret to themselves for as long as possible, and either way, they were able to enjoy it and have a relationship for them and only them.
“Hey, P! Leaving now, you need a ride?” Y/n walked to Penelope’s room and offered a smile.
“Ah, no sweet cheeks. Car is fixed, I’m driving myself now.” Penelope smiled as she grabbed her things.
Y/n nodded. “See you tomorrow then.” She was about to leave before she was stopped by Penelope’s voice.
“Hey honey?” Penelope asked softly.
Y/n turned to look at her and smiled. “Yeah?”
“Have you uh…have you talked to Emily?”
Y/n furrowed her brows as she stared at Penelope. “Uh…I mean…she was mostly with Morgan in the case so…not really. Why? Something wrong?” She tilted her head as she walked back to Penelope.
“I just…I’ve noticed that she’s been acting a bit odd.” Penelope shrugged. “I even asked her if she was preggo.” She chuckled.
Y/n chuckled softly as she shook her head. “Do we even know if she’s got a boyfriend?”
“Well, she brushed it off when I mentioned it, but…you know…she’s been late these past few days and that’s not common of her.”
Y/n nodded softly and offered a smile. “I’ll try to talk to her tomorrow when I see her. But I’m sure she’s okay, P. Just…maybe stressed.”
Penelope nodded and smiled. “She trusts you more than she trusts anyone here, honey. I’m sure she’ll let you know if somethings going on.”
“I know.” Y/n smiled. “Night love.”
“Goodnight pretty girl!”
Y/n walked to the elevator and sighed softly as the doors closed. They had been busy with the last few cases that she hadn’t really paid any attention to Emily’s attitude or behaviour, which now that she thought about it, was really wrong of her, and she felt bad about it. As she got in her car, she decided to make a few stops before she stopped by Emily’s apartment. The whole ride, she thought of what exactly she was going to tell Emily, because she knew better than to get to her and be all like ‘oh you’ve been acting weird so I thought I could come and figure out what’s wrong with you’. As much as Emily loved y/n, Emily was not exactly an open book. She finally got to Emily’s apartment and decided it was better to use her key instead of knocking on the door. She walked inside the apartment and was greeted by Sergio, she closed the door softly and as she turned, she found Emily walking out of her room with her gun in hand.
“Woah, Em! It’s me!” Y/n raised her hands as she looked at Emily.
Emily sighed heavily as she put her fun on the back of her jeans and walked to y/n. “What are you doing here?”
Y/n cleared her throat. “Uh…” she looked down at her hands and had a bag of desserts and in the other hand, she had flowers. “I uh…well…I’ve noticed that you haven’t been yourself, I thought you were tired and exhausted, so I decided to…bring something.” She offered a shy smile as she looked at Emily.
Emily’s heart warmed as she stared at y/n, smiling softly as she walked to her, grabbing the flowers, and smelling them. “They smell wonderful.” She looked up at y/n and smiled. “Thank you.”
“Anything for you.” Y/n leaned in and pecked her lips softly. “I also brought your favorite.” She smiled.
Emily chuckled softly as she nodded. “Thank you.” She walked to the kitchen and took a deep breath. She grabbed a vase to put the flowers in and filled it with water. She hated that she had to tell y/n that she couldn’t stay, all she wanted was to be held and to have y/n with her, but she couldn’t put her at risk.
The thing was her nemesis was in the city. Just a few hours ago, she had met with the person she never thought she’d ever see again, the person that she had left in her past and that had been nothing but another case for her. Ian Doyle was looking for her, and she had now put everyone at risk, and the last thing she needed, was for Ian to find out that y/n was more than just a friend and a colleague, he had no idea about her, he thought that the most important thing for Emily was her life, and the team was her family, so in a way, y/n was still very much at risk, but at least he had no idea that she was more than just a friend.
Emily walked back to the dining room and smiled at y/n. “I’m sorry…I hate to do this but I just…” she sighed. “I think I’m getting that flu that Garcia’s been talking about.” She huffed a chuckle as she stared at y/n.
Y/n tilted her head as she pouted. “So you want me to go?”
Emily smiled sadly. “I’m afraid you’ll catch it, and it’ll be a fun thing to explain to the rest of the team why we both have it.” She grinned.
Y/n rolled her eyes playfully and nodded. “I guess you’re right.” She sighed as she stared at Emily, walking to her. “Em…are you okay?”
“I am.” Emily smiled.
Y/n squinted her eyes and raised her brow. “You’re not getting tired of me, are you?”
Emily felt her heart sinking as she stared at her girlfriend. She smiled softly and walked to her, wrapping her arms around her shoulders, and resting her forehead against hers. “I love you too much to do that.” She whispered softly as she smiled.
Y/n smiled widely as she wrapped her arms around her waist. “I love you too.” She furrowed her brows. “You’re really getting sick, Prentiss. You’d have joked about it.”
Emily shrugged. “I also like to tell you that I love you, because I really do.” She smiled softly, leaning in, and kissing her lips softly.
Y/n smiled against her lips and held her as close as possible. “Thought you didn’t want to give me the flu.” She whispered against her lips once they pulled away.
“A kiss won’t hurt.” Emily chuckled softly as she looked at y/n. “I’ll see you tomorrow?”
Y/n nodded. “Sure will.” She smiled. “Save me my dessert, I’ll come eat it when you feel better.” She grinned as she walked to the door, she petted Sergio before she finally left.
Emily sighed again and felt her eyes getting watery. She hated that she had to do this, she hated that she was pushing the one person she trusted with her whole heart…but again…that sounded pretty hypocrite since y/n had no idea about her past with Ian Doyle. No one could know. She preferred to lie about it than put them more at risk.
********************
Y/n stretched as she got up from bed and yawned. After the exhausting days that they’ve had at the BAU, she had returned home and gotten herself in bed, trying to get herself to get some rest before whatever event was going to happen the next day. But right at two am, there had been a knock on her door, which woke her from her beauty sleep. She walked to the door and looked into the small hole, furrowing her brows as she noticed Emily standing right in front of the door. She opened the door and smiled sleepily.
“You lost your key again?” Y/n raised her brows as she stared at Emily.
Emily smiled softly. “I forgot it at home.”
Y/n nodded. “And you forgot your keys too?”
“I just wanted to see you.” Emily said softly.
Y/n furrowed her brows but said nothing, grabbing Emily’s hand and pulling her inside the apartment, closing the door behind her. “What’s going on, Em?” She said softly.
Emily took a deep breath as she shook her head. “I’ve just been having a hard time sleeping.”
“Then stay here with me.”
“I can’t.” Emily sighed softly. “Sergio…he’s been a pain in the ass. He hates that I leave him alone.”
Y/n grinned softly. “I’m gonna start to be jealous of him, getting all your attention.”
Emily rolled her eyes playfully. She then cupped y/n’s face in her hands, bringing their lips into a sweet and tender kiss. Emily could feel her eyes getting teary, but she stayed close to y/n and kept kissing her softly. Y/n wrapped her arms around Emily, her hands going up and down her back, her fingertips delicately touching her as she kissed Emily back. Even if Emily had this tough, bad girl persona, everyone knew that Emily had a soft spot because she was also a complete nerd, and y/n was lucky enough to say that she was able to experience it. They both pulled away slowly, resting their foreheads against each other’s, smiling softly.
“You know I love you, right?” Emily said softly, smiling at y/n.
“I know.” Y/n pulled away to look into her beautiful brown eyes as she nodded. “And I love you. A lot.” She whispered softly as she kissed her nose softly.
Emily smiled as she ran her fingers through her hair. “This whole stress will end soon.”
Y/n furrowed her brows slightly but nodded. “It will. Maybe you should consider what Rossi said about taking a vacation.” She grinned softly.
Emily chuckled softly as she nodded. “Go somewhere far away from here, no cellphones or technology…just us.”
“Well, he meant only for you.” Y/n teased.
“But I’d take you with me.” Emily smiled lovingly as her other hand stroked her cheek. “I want you with me.”
“And I’ll always be here, Em.” Y/n smiled as she leaned in to kiss her lips again. “Always.”
Emily nodded softly as she kissed her lips again, smiling sadly. “Hey uh…” she reached on her pocket and smiled softly down at her hands. “I got you something.” She looked back at y/n.
Y/n furrowed her brows and tried to look at what Emily had in her hands. “What is it?” She grinned softly.
Emily smiled softly and then opened her hand to show y/n what she had in hands, raising her brow softly. “You always mention you like it.”
Y/n’s lips parted and soon after turned into a smile, looking back up at Emily. “Em…you…you wear this necklace more than anything.”
Emily chuckled softly as she grabbed the heraldic rose pendant and moved behind y/n. She moved y/n’s hair to the side and placed the necklace delicately. “You always mentioned how you liked it…loved it, actually. And I thought maybe you should have it.” She smiled softly as she leaned down to kiss her shoulder. “It’ll look better on you anyway.” She then moved back to face y/n.
Y/n looked down at it and smiled softly. “I do love it.” She looked back at Emily as she held it. “Em-“
“Consider it an early birthday gift.” Emily grinned.
“Still two months to go, though.” Y/n raised her brow as she grinned.
“I like spoiling you, and you know it.” Emily smiled as she wrapped her arms around her and kissed her lips softly. “I gotta go, it’s late.” She whispered softly as she stared at her.
“And Sergio is gonna kill you.” Y/n grinned playfully.
Emily chuckled as she nodded. “Yes.” She looked into y/n’s eyes and smiled, leaning in to kiss her forehead softly. “I’ll see you tomorrow.”
“See you tomorrow.” Y/n smiled.
Y/n stared at her until Emily closed the door and then she was gone, her hands still in the necklace. She sighed softly as she locked the door, her mind spinning as thoughts started to cloud her whole mind. There was something going on, but y/n couldn’t figure out what it was. Emily was definitely not herself, but if she pushed, Emily would only brush it off and she’d say nothing was going on, but the more she focused on Emily, the more worried she was about her. But she was right, this would soon end, and they would be able to go back to their lives.
********************
The whole time they were at the BAU, y/n kept an eye on Emily, trying to focus on what Hotch and the rest of the team was saying about this whole case, but she couldn’t help but see every move that Emily made. She was quieter than usual, which was not normal of her, she always had so much to say about the cases, y/n always found Emily being the best profiler in the team, of course they had their own thing, and she didn’t just think about it because she was her girlfriend, but she truly admired Emily so much, it surprised her when Emily gave her attention and actually wanted to be with her, even with the slight age difference, Emily still had her eyes on y/n. So yes, y/n knew Emily better than anyone in that room, but lately, it seemed like what she knew meant nothing.
Once Emily and Derek were back, y/n couldn’t help but keep her eyes on Emily, but this time, her full attention was on her. Every reaction, every movement, every facial expression, she was trying to get anything she could. As they continued to talk about the case, y/n noticed the way Emily became more tense about it and the way she kept fidgeting with her hands. Before anything else could happen, once the team was a bit more distracted, y/n pulled Emily with her and pulled them inside the bathroom, locking the door behind her.
“What are you doing?” Emily asked, brows furrowed as she stared at y/n.
Y/n crossed her arms as she looked at Emily. “What is going on, Emily?”
Emily shook her head. “I don’t-“
“You do know.” Y/n said, trying not to sound upset or worried. “Emily, I can see the way you’re acting. You never get to work late, even when we have spent the night together. You have barely eaten anything, you’ve barely been sleeping, I can notice. You haven’t been yourself, Em.”
“Baby…I don’t really wanna talk about it.” Emily rubbed her hand on her face as she looked down at the floor.
Y/n shook her head. “I know you don’t. But Emily…you’re not okay. I can tell. I’m here, why won’t you talk to me?” She walked close to Emily and placed her hands on her shoulders, sliding them down to grab her hands. “Please. I’m worried about you, Em.” She whispered softly.
Emily shook her head. “I just…” she sighed as she looked back at y/n. “…I’ve been having these nightmares, I’m exhausted. I want this to end. I need it to end.” She felt her eyes getting teary as her hands landed on y/n’s cheeks, stroking them softly. “I’ll be okay.”
Y/n shook her head as she sighed, wrapping her arms around Emily’s waist. “I’ll stop pushing…but Em, seriously…I’m here.” She looked into her eyes as she smiled. “Come to me. Talk to me.” She whispered softly.
Emily nodded as she leaned down to kiss her lips. “I love you.” She whispered softly against her lips.
Y/n smiled softly. “I love you too.” She kissed her nose softly and then her lips again.
Emily sighed as she pulled away and smiled softly. “We should get back.”
Y/n only nodded and then walked out of the bathroom with Emily, making sure that no one had seen them. As they went back with the rest, y/n still had her attention on Emily but said nothing more. As for Emily, she knew that sooner or later, y/n would figure out what was going on, the whole team would figure it out and there was nothing that would stop them, so she had to act fast. Things were only getting worse, more people were dying, and it was on Emily, and the thought of it was eating her alive. If she didn’t do anything now, he’d soon get to all of them. He’d get to y/n.
********************
Y/n furrowed her brows as she walked around the halls, looking around. After they had mentioned the profile of Ian Doyle, they had gathered around to make a plan and see where they could go next and that’s when she noticed that Emily was nowhere to be found. She saw her once she arrived back with Morgan, she had a worried look, her face had entirely changed and y/n was sure this had something to do with this whole thing, but if she pushed, she knew that she wouldn’t get anything anyway. Once Hotch dismissed everyone, that’s when she noticed she was gone. What was she doing?
“Guys, I cannot find Emily anywhere.” Y/n walked to them and stared at all of them. “What?”
Rossi sighed. “We believe Emily is involved with this case.”
Y/n furrowed her brows. “What?” She shook her head. “No…she would’ve said something. What do you mean involved?”
“Years ago, she was undercover. Weeks ago, she mentioned a name, Lauren Reynolds. Saying she was gone. I believe that was her undercover name.”
Y/n felt dizzy for a moment as she stared at them, not sure what was going on. Emily would’ve told her the truth, as much as she had wanted to protect them, she wouldn’t have lied to her. But she did…that’s why she had been acting weird, she had been pushing her away, she didn’t even let her stay at her apartment. That visit at two a.m., the necklace, Emily repeatedly telling her that she loved her…Emily was hiding it so y/n wouldn’t find out. Emily was a hopeless romantic, that was not a secret, but the way she had been acting, the way she had spoken to y/n…it all made sense now. She was trying to protect her, Ian was after them, and Emily was going to deal with this alone.
It was like her body was acting on its own once they moved to review the information JJ had. She didn’t even know when JJ had arrived, but she was there, she was there to help with the case. Y/n only sat there and tried to focus on everything about which they were talking. Emily had been undercover…she had been one of Ian’s lovers…his lover. She had been involved with him and she was one of the reasons he had ended up behind bars. She had never actually asked much about Emily’s past jobs, Emily always told her about her life, she knew the nerd she was, the silly movies she loved to watch, the books she read, she knew her routine in the morning and at night, what annoyed her and what she liked. She knew Emily. Right? She knew her, she just…didn’t know this part. Emily trusted her. Or maybe not.
“Carter…did you know about this?” Derek snapped as he looked back at y/n, making her snap out of her trance.
Y/n furrowed her brows as she stared at him. “W-What?”
“You’re the closest to Emily. You spend more time with her than with any of us. Did she tell you any of this?” Derek stood up and kept his eyes fixated on y/n.
“Derek…no. I had no idea…I-“
“Please.” Derek scoffed. “You always say it, you know more about Emily than any of us. Why should I believe that you didn’t know any of this?”
“Morgan.” Hotch warned as he stared at him.
“No!” Derek looked at everyone and then went back to y/n. “You and Emily have been hiding this from us for days. She’s now on the run and we have no idea where she could be. So enlighten us, Carter. Tell us where she is so this ends now.”
Y/n stood up from her seat, feeling anger growing in the pit of her stomach. “I have no idea…where she is, Morgan.” She felt her eyes getting teary as she stared at him. “I didn’t know anything about this. She never told me. Trust me, I’m not stupid. If I knew where she was, I wouldn’t be sitting here listening to your crap. I wouldn’t have let her leave. You were the last one with her, what did she tell you?”
“She said nothing. Because she doesn’t trust us. Apparently, you included.” Derek snapped.
“That’s enough.” Rossi said as he stared at both of them.
“Why should I believe you? Why should I believe that you’re not covering for Emily? You’re best friends. You two are literally glued to each other, and you want me to believe that you’re not hiding anything from us? Emily put you up to this, but this has to end now, Carter!” Derek yelled as he walked to Carter. “You’re the person she trusted the most, huh? If she’s your best friend, then you’ll tell us whe-“
“She was more than my best friend! I love her!” Y/n snapped as tears rolled down her cheeks as she stared at Derek. She sobbed softly as she took a step back, feeling everyone’s eyes on her. She looked down at the floor as she shook her head. “We’ve…we’ve been dating for a whole year…we didn’t say anything because…we didn’t want anyone to use us against each other in case something went south on a case.” She said between sobs. “She didn’t tell me anything, Morgan.” She looked back up at him. “You’re right. Maybe she didn’t trust me. Maybe she just wanted to protect me. I don’t even know what to think. I don’t know what’s going on. So please…back off, and let’s focus on finding Emily.”
Everyone in the room said nothing more about the subject, Rossi and Morgan decided to go to Emily’s apartment and y/n went over her bag and handed them the key, staring at Morgan as she did and then leaving the room. She could’ve offered to go with them, she could’ve said that she would be the one going, but she knew that if she did, she wouldn’t want to leave, and she was now a bit afraid of what she might find there. She wasn’t upset…she wasn’t mad…at least not at the moment, she was just…confused.
********************
Y/n felt like she was numb at that point, only focusing on what they had to say about the case and following them around, barely saying anything. She was hoping that she’d wake up from this nightmare, that maybe, just maybe, everything was in her head, that she was actually asleep, and this would end soon. For a moment, she tried to go and clear her mind for a bit, deciding that Penelope could help at least a little bit, but as she walked to her office, she heard her talking and then she figured out what she was doing. She tried to swallow back her tears as she walked to her, offering a small as she turned on her chair.
“Hey, sweet girl.” Penelope said softly as she offered a small smile.
“Hi.” Y/n smiled softly and crossed her arms. “So…we figured out if Emily had a boyfriend, huh?” She chuckled softly.
Penelope nodded as she smiled. “I always thought you guys looked cute. I’m happy you’re actually a couple.”
Y/n smiled softly as she nodded. “Thanks.” She cleared her throat. “Any luck with the phone numbers?”
Penelope shook her head. “No…I’ve left a message in all of them.”
Y/n nodded as she sighed. “Do you think I could uh…could you…give me at least one to try it out?”
Penelope smiled as she turned her chair and wrote down one of the phone numbers, and then turned to look at y/n, handing her the post it. “I just tried this one, is the last one I found.”
Y/n grabbed it and stared at it for a moment, smiling softly as she looked back at Penelope. “Thanks, P.” She nodded before she left.
Y/n looked around the hallway and noticed no one was there, so she for her phone out and dialed the number. She bit her lip softly as she waited, part of her hoping that she’d answer and the other part just waiting to be sent to voicemail. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath as she heard the voicemail tone. “Hey Em…it’s me, y/n. Uh…Penelope gave me this number, we’re not even sure if you have it anymore or not…” she huffed a chuckle. “…I don’t even know what to say. I just want you to know that…I love you. I won’t ever stop doing that.” She sniffled, biting her lip softly as she tried to swallow back her sobs. “Just come back, Emily…please. We can fix this together. I just need you back with me.” She let out sobs as she looked shook her head. “Come back to me.” She sighed as she ended the voicemail and closed her phone, putting it back in her pocket.
Emily sighed as she closed her eyes for a moment. She was exhausted, she was tired, she wanted this whole thing to end, and the worst thing about this, was that she had no idea how this would end. She wanted to cry, she wanted to scream, she felt helpless but she knew she had a reason and purpose, she needed to put an end to this; he wasn’t going to win, not as long as Emily could stop him. She looked down at her phone and furrowed her brows as she noticed two voicemails. Her heart stopped for a second as she heard Penelope’s voice, her eyes getting teary. She hated so much that she was doing this to them, she knew maybe they’d hate her, but she was doing this for them.
She opened the last voicemail and she felt her heart sank, for a moment, her whole world had stopped. It was y/n. She was sure Penelope had given her the phone number. She closed her eyes as she felt l tears rolling down her cheeks. She never meant to hurt y/n like this, she never wanted to lie to her, she never meant to hide this from them, but she thought she’d be able to live with it and that nothing would ever happen, he’d stay in jail forever and no one in her life would know about it. But she was wrong. And she hated it. She wanted to drive back to her lover, hold her and kiss her, but she had to protect her, she had to protect her family.
“I love you…I’m sorry.” Emily whispered softly before she turned off her phone and took a deep breath.
********************
The whole ride to the Warehouse, y/n tried to keep her head clear, thinking that they would be able to find Emily and that this whole thing would finally end, that she’d be able to bring her home and both of them would work on this together. For a moment, as she heard more and more about Emily’s undercover and Ian, she felt herself getting angry at the whole situation. It was clear everyone was upset at the thought of Emily getting involved with someone like him, and she was not gonna lie, it upset her too, but then all she could think about was Emily; was she okay? Was she safe? Y/n knew Emily was a fighter, she could protect herself, but what if Ian had hurt her badly? She couldn’t help the negative thoughts that filled her mind. She grabbed onto her necklace and kissed it, trying to swallow back her tears. She flinched a bit as she felt a hand on her shoulder, and she turned to look at Derek, who offered a small smile.
Y/n decided she’d go in with Derek, she followed them around and her heart started racing as she walked through the warehouse. For a moment, she tried to think that this was just another victim, she wanted to try to concentrate the best she could and not lose her posture. She could almost hear Strauss yelling at her for getting involved even though she knew she should’ve stayed behind. When the lights went out, she felt like she was in a nightmare, following Derek as she kept looking around us, making sure to not miss any door or room. At some point, Derek told y/n to go first to have her back, and just as she walked into the very end of the warehouse, her heart dropped at the sight of Emily on the floor…bleeding.
“Emily!” Y/n dropped to her knees and placed her gun on the floor. “Derek, call an ambulance!” She placed her hand on Emily’s and looked at her, tears rolling down her cheeks. “Emily? Em…please answer me. I’m here.” She said almost in a whisper.
Emily opened her eyes weakly and stared back at y/n. “Y/n?” She whispered weakly.
Y/n nodded and smiled through her tears. “Yes. It’s me. I’m here.” She placed her hand on Emily’s cheek, stroking it softly. “C’mon, baby. I need you to stay with me, help is coming.”
Emily’s breathing was weak, she tried to keep her eyes opened to look at her lover, but it was becoming harder. “Love…I’m…msorry.”
“Help! Please!” Y/n turned to look at Derek with tears in her eyes and then went back to Emily. “No, Em. I know why you did this. I love you, okay? I’m not mad, I’m not upset. I’m here. Just please, please stay with me. I need you, my love. Please.” She cried out as she leaned down to kiss her forehead. “Please, Em…”
“I…love you.” Emily breathed out and closed her eyes.
“Emily! Please! Hurry up!” Y/n looked down at her and sobbed. “Emily!”
The time stopped as y/n kept yelling Emily’s name, and as she felt Derek’s hands on her trying to pull her back, y/n kept yelling and trying to get away from Derek. The paramedics arrived and were all over Emily, y/n could only feel Derek’s arms wrapped around her trying to stop her from moving, and y/n could not do anything else than let herself cry and scream in Derek’s arms. This was not happening. This was not supposed to happen. At some point she felt Derek picking her up and helping her walk so they could follow the ambulance, y/n was sobbing uncontrollably so they didn’t let her go in the ambulance with her.
The whole way to the hospital seemed like a movie, y/n felt like she was not there, she was just numb, and she had gone completely quiet. She could feel JJ and Derek holding her, but she only sat there, her eyes glued to the ambulance in front of them. And then, as if she had transported, she was in the visitors lounge with the whole team. She didn’t know when or how they had all arrived there, even Penelope. She had sat down alone, only staring down at her hands as she fidgeted with her fingers. She thought that she had ran out of tears because none were coming out of her eyes, she could feel her head throbbing, her eyes were swollen and her whole body was trembling. If this is a nightmare, just wake up. Wake up now. She kept repeating in her head over and over again. In the corner of her eye, she saw a figure moving, making her turn her face to find JJ and she stood up rapidly to walk to JJ.
“JJ?” Y/n asked in a whisper as she walked to her. She furrowed her brows when she didn’t say anything. “JJ…say something.” She made a pause and shook her head as there was still silence coming from JJ.
“No…” Penelope whispered softly, her voice breaking.
“Say something!” Y/n’s bottom lip trembled as she sobbed quietly. “Please…”
“She never made it off the table.” JJ said softly, but rapidly, as if she had pushed herself from saying those words.
Y/n felt her like time stopped once again as JJ’s words kept replying in her mind. She could hear Penelope and Spencer crying, she could hear them in the background, but all she could do was sit back down, just staring into nothing as her mind processed JJ’s words. She felt someone touching her shoulder, but she couldn’t make up the words that were coming out of their mouth, her mind had shut down entirely and her body couldn’t react. At some point she felt something wet on her face and she processed in her mind that she was crying and then her mind registered where she was. She looked up and found Penelope by her side, wrapping her arms around her and that’s when she felt her whole body giving up and she started sobbing again, screaming loudly as Penelope tightened her grip on her. She was living in the nightmare.
********************
“I really wish you would’ve told me, Em…I could’ve probably helped you.” Y/n whispered softly, tears rolling down her cheeks. “I miss you terribly.” She sobbed quietly.
“Y/n?” Derek asked softly as she stood beside her.
Y/n cleared her throat as she smiled sadly. “She gave me her necklace. The day before, she came to my apartment at two a.m. I guess she thought that…maybe if she went that late, maybe they wouldn’t be watching her or something.” She shrugged softly as she looked down at the grave. “She seemed so…worried but she was reassuring me that she was okay.” She huffed a chuckle. “I knew she was not, but I didn’t push. I let her have control. She kissed me and left.” She shook her head as more tears rolled down her cheeks. “I should’ve pushed.”
“We know she wouldn’t have told you anything anyway.” Derek sighed. “She wanted to protect us. Protect you.”
Y/n nodded. “I hate her for that.” She shook her head. “I should be upset that she didn’t tell me anything, that she got involved with him.” She sighed. “But I’m upset that she let this happen and I couldn’t be there to save her.”
Derek nodded. “We did what we could.”
Y/n looked up at Derek as she cried. “Did we?” She cried out.
Derek stared at her and wrapped his arm around her shoulders, pulling her to him and kissing her forehead softly. “I’m sorry for how I spoke to you.”
“I forgive you.” Y/n whispered softly as she rested her head against his shoulder. “I’m sorry too.”
Derek shook his head. “We’re good, princess. And I’m here.”
Y/n nodded. “I know. I’m here too.” She sighed as she let more tears roll down her cheeks.
“So…wanna tell me how it all began?” Derek grinned as he looked down at y/n.
Y/n huffed a chuckle as she wiped her tears. “Wouldn’t you like to know.”
“I do too.”
Y/n turned to look at Penelope and smiled softly. “You’re still here.”
Penelope smiled through her tears. “I didn’t want to leave you, sweet cheeks.”
Y/n smiled as she extended her hand for Penelope to take it. She then looked back at the grave and smiled. “I think Emily would love for me to tell you guys about how it all started.” She nodded softly as she knelt down and sat on the grass, followed by Penelope and Derek.

Wolfy
Request by anon:Could you do a Nefera fem reader where the reader is a werewolf and her father doesn't approve of them (maybe set during boo york)
Nefera x fem reader
“Y/N,your turn, how'd you meet your girlfriend?” You were sitting with your friends and somehow got into talking about how some of them met their partners.
“Well I was walking down the street when I bumped into someone”
"Get off of me! Eww, don't you know who I am?" That was the first time you met Nefera, which led to no one believing you when you told them that you were dating. You had been with her for 3 years after managing to get through her rough bitchy exterior, she was sweet but only towards you. As you were talking Nefera grabbed your face and started kissing you "I missed you, babe" in between kisses. She sat next to you, asking you "What are you talking about?" You laughed
"Just explaining how we met” She laughed
"I remember that day. I thought you were just some lowlife trying to talk to me" Putting her arm around your shoulders as she leaned her head on yours. You playfully punched her arm,yet her comment somehow hurt. You did feel insecure against her,she was practically royalty and you were just a werewolf. Plus there was the fact that her father hated you,and thought you weren't good enough for her. "Hey, hey" Nefera gave you a serious look "What's wrong?" she started stroking your hair lovingly, sensing your discomfort
"Nothing, just worried about the upcoming full moon" You lied there was a full moon coming but you weren't worried about that. Your friends who you were telling the story to,had slipped away at some point but you didn't care right now.
"You know, babe, I don't care that you're a werewolf. You're still the best person I have ever met" She started kissing your neck "You don't think you're not good enough for me, do you?"
"No,just the moon thing"
"Well, once you turn, I'll still love you. I'll be right by your side the next morning, just you see"
"Aren't you heading to Boo York with your sister and father tomorrow?" She had been talking about this trip for the last 3 days, about some fancy gallery event.
"Oh, boo york! I almost forgot. My flight leaves tomorrow and I still haven't packed" She pulled away and grabbed your cheeks "Promise me you'll be careful tonight, alright? I don't want my favorite wolf getting hurt"
"I'll be fine,I promise. I'm gonna miss you" Nefera kissed you
"I'll miss you, too. But I'll call you every night before I go to bed. And I'll be back before you even notice." She gave you one last kiss "I have to head back to my place and finish packing. You,be careful!" You watched her walk off before you left. The rest of the night was difficult. You tossed and turned, and by the time you finally fell asleep, the moon was already high in the sky. It's light shining through your window awoke you. You stood up, feeling disoriented and confused. As you stumbled around in the dark you suddenly realized what was happening. Your vision began to blur and you tried to cry out, but all that came out was a low growl, you woke up the next day with mud on your face and small sticks in your hair. you slowly sat up, and looked around at the forest you had run through in your wolf form. You stumbled to your feet and quickly began to make your way back to your house when your cell phone began to ring. Quickly grabbing it, you saw that it was Nefera. Answering the phone, you held the phone up to your ear
"Hello?"
"Hey babe, how's your morning?" you heard Nefera's calming, familiar voice on the other line, and suddenly everything feels less overwhelming
"It's better now"
"Aww, you know just what to say, don't you?" she said with a small chuckle "What are you up to right now, wolfy?"
"I'm on my way back home,I kinda wolfed out last night" You explained and her answer made you stop in your tracks.
"Then hurry up,I'm waiting for you," Nefera said.
"What?"
"You heard me" The phone cut off and you realized that, although her words sounded demanding, her voice was laced with excitement. What was going on? You felt like you were practically flying back to your apartment, trying to make it home as fast as possible. The second you reached your complex you sprinted up to your floor and fumbled with your keys as you tried to unlock the door to your apartment. You could already smell her from miles away. As you opened the door, the full force of her scent hit you. It was intoxicating. You shut the door behind you and slowly walked into your living room. There she was, sitting at your coffee table.
"What are you doing here,I thought you were supposed to be on a flight in like an hour?" You asked, she smirked before saying
"I'm here to help you pack, because you're coming with me"
"Wait, what?" You were in utter disbelief "What about your father? He'd kill both of us if he found out I'm going with you"
"Don't worry, I'll figure something else out. Now,get cleaned up. I'll pack your stuff for you"
"Nefera,I shouldn't go with you. I mean fancy parties, gallery openings and high society isn't my thing. Just look at me,I-" You were still covered in dirt and with sticks in your hair, meanwhile she looked perfect.
"Hey, hey, look at me wolfy" Nefera cupped your face in her hands "You're my favorite, alright? I love every single messy, wolfy bit about you, got it?" She leaned in to kiss you, but suddenly pulled back and made a disgusted face "Ew, you have a leaf on your face. Why am I kissing a dirty dog?"
"Hey" you said annoyed.
"Don't 'Hey' me! Go take a shower, you're a mess" She began shoving you toward the restroom, and you suddenly realized that she was blushing a tiny bit. You quickly washed your hair and showered. Walking out to see that Nefera had already packed for you and prepared you and outfit. Your dress laid out in front of you as Nefera was digging through your jewelry. "Alright" Nefera grabbed the dress, and handed it to you "Change into this." The dress was gorgeous, a shimmery teal that hugged your body in all the right ways. You had forgotten that you even had it. You quickly changed. "You look so hot, babe" She put a few accessories on you and stepped back "There, perfect. Now we just have to fix your hair" You sat down and she fixed your hair. After a few minutes, your hair finally looked presentable. You couldn't believe how quickly she was able to transform you into such a different person "We have to go now, the limo's out front" You followed her out and as you were on your way to the airport you asked.
"Isn't your father gonna be angry that you brought me with you,I mean he already doesn't like me?"
"Yeah he'll probably be mad, but I don't care. He'll get over it" She gave a small scoff as she waved her hand dismissively "Now, let's talk about something more interesting. Do you know how to dance, wolfy?"
"You mean like a waltz?" She grinned at you .
"Yes, precisely. You'll have to dance with me at the ball, so I'm curious if you know how. Do you?" You felt embarrassed to admit
"A bit,but I'm not good" She began to giggle.
"That's cute. Don't worry, I'll teach you so you don't mess up the steps. Then, you'll be dancing with me without even looking down at your feet. Don't worry, it's fairly simple, I'll have you ballroom dancing in no time" A few hours later and you landed in Boo York. As you walked out of the airport, the cool Autumn breeze hit your face, sending a chill down your spine "Boo York" Nefera smiled at you "You ready for the time of your life, babe?"
"As long as you don't leave me by myself I'll be happy" She grabbed your hand and gave it a gentle squeeze.
"Don't you worry, I won't leave your side" You could see the city in the distance, lit up by a million colorful lights. You suddenly felt excitement mixed with nervousness.
"Before we get too far into the city there's something I want you to have" You gave her a whistle, one only werewolves could hear.
"What's this?" She eyed the whistle with curiosity, admiring its simplicity. You could see her mind running a million miles a minute, trying to figure out what it was for.
"It's a whistle only werewolves can hear, just in case we get separated" She looked at you, a mixture of surprise and appreciation in her eyes
"You know, most people wouldn't expect you to be this romantic." she gave you a soft smile and put the whistle around her necklace before throwing her arms around you "Thank you, wolfy"
"Now,what's first on the agenda?" You hugged her back briefly. She gently kissed your cheek and began walking, her arm still intertwined with yours
"First, we're checking into our hotel, then we're doing some shopping, and then finally we have the gallery event, which I am already completely ready for" She gave you a smirk before asking "Any objections?"
"None what's so ever"
"Perfect! Lets go" She grabbed your hand and began leading you towards her limo, talking about something or another, but you were too busy staring at the city with awe to understand what she was saying. You had never traveled before, let alone to a city so big. This was something that would stay with you forever and you wanted to enjoy every last bit of it. Although the lights and sounds were getting overwhelming. Your ears moved quickly to every sound, but it was starting to hurt slightly. Just as soon as things started to get too much, a soothing voice broke through the chaos in your head "Hey, babe, you alright?" Nefera was looking at you with slight concern lacing her sharp features "You seem a bit overwhelmed"
"There's just too much, but I'll be fine. How much longer until we get to our hotel?"
"Just a few minutes more" She gave a reassuring smile "You think you can hold out for that long?"
"Yeah, but we should move a bit faster"
"Alright, let's go" She increased her pace, and soon the hotel came into view. It was huge, easily one of the most extravagant hotels in the city. The valet took Nefera's keys and let the pair of you out, which you thanked him for. She grabbed your hand and pulled you into the lobby of the hotel, which was almost just as elegant as the outside. It was a bit quieter and you were able to relax a bit.
"Now, we should probably get to our room. We still have a lot to do." As you and Nefera waited at the elevator, you once again began to marvel at her features. Although you always thought she was gorgeous, there was something almost ethereal about the way she looked in the city lights. You wanted to kiss her then and there, but you managed to suppress the urge. You were still feeling as if your head would explode, you put your hand up to your forehead. She noticed that something was wrong and placed her hand on your forehead as well
"You're burning up. Are you sure you're alright?”
"I just need to lay down for a bit and I'll be fine"
"Why don't we skip the shopping? I'll stay with you in the room until you feel better" She gave you one last concerned look and pulled you into the elevator once the doors opened
"No,just give me a few minutes and I'll be fine. It can be a lot when your sense are heightened"
"Alright, if you say so" The elevator doors opened and the pair of you walked down to the hotel room, which was as lavish as the lobby. The second the door was closed, Nefera pushed you down on the couch and began placing her cold hands all over your forehead, attempting to break your fever with her ice-like skin
"This is the one time I'm grateful for your cold hands"
"Yeah, you better be grateful. It's the only reason your head isn't steaming right now" She kissed your forehead gently, her cold hand still pressed against your warm skin. "You need to be more thankful" She gave a small chuckle as her cold touch sent shivers down your spine. She began running her fingers through your hair, attempting to soothe you. She let out a chuckle and continued what she was doing, but soon her touch lingered and changed into kisses, which spread from your forehead and down to your collarbone. Suddenly there was the sound of knocking at the door which made her groan in disappointment before sighing "Wait here" She planted a kiss on your cheek before heading towards the door. You heard her talking to someone, but the sound of her voice was faint, and when you tried to listen harder your head began to spin. You heard the door shut, and you saw Nefera walking back, with a look of pure frustration on her face.
"Hey,what happened?" She let out a grunt, and sat down next to you before wrapping her arm around you
"That was my father, he wanted to call to see how the trip was going, and to see how I'm treating you" She gave a small scoff and then leaned her full weight on you. The two of you sat like that for a few seconds before she spoke again "My father really hates you, you know"
"Yeah,I figured that when he saw me the first time"
"It's stupid. He hates you for such ridiculous reasons. Like because you're a werewolf" She began tracing circles on your palm as she continued to talk "But I love that your a werewolf, and he just doesn't understand that"
"Well, you hated me when we first met" The two of you sat in silence for a few moments before she let out a small laugh.
"It's insane how much you've grown on me. It seems your wolfy charm is rubbing off on me"
