Today’s character of the day is: Luna of the Hex Girls from Scooby Doo series

So yesterday I rewatched "The Witches Ghost" and shortly then after I decided to watch "Legend of the Vampire" (cause why not?) and I noticed...something... regarding "the Hex Girls" specifically "Luna"

Now...here she is in The Witches Ghost in 1999...

And before I go any further, I'd like to remind you that this is also what she looked like in the Mystery Inc shows...

And now folks, I would like to show you the reason why we are here, without any further adieu! May I present to you! Luna! In Scooby Doo and the Legend of the Vampire in 2003...

I've never really seen anyone acknowledge this before, but seriously though, what was going on in 2003? WAS there a reason for this? I'm genuinely curious, I don't expect this post to get much attention but I just wanted to put this out out there just in case...

Y’all know about that reincarnation Arthur au? Well I have an idea that has immortal Merlin.

Instead of just Arthur, it’s all the knights + Gwen and Gaius

I never have a clue about what going on with Merlin in these, but I want to write about it and what I think.

Merlin:

•documented longest living man

- I say this, because how is he gonna live so long without documents and shit, he’d be really famous now too

•famous artist (paints mostly the knights)

-he would get bored at some point, he needs a hobby, so he gets arts, all of them. Sculpting, painting, music. ALL of them

• FATHER

-he’s been alive for thousands of years, he’s definitely been laid. He’s totally been married at least 5 times in his long life span.

I didn’t feel like creating new kids, so I just kinda got three fandoms and chose characters. Merlin is also Dracula.

Kids, oldest to youngest:

Edward (Twilight/Midnight Sun)

Thorn (Scooby Doo/Hex Girls)

Luna (Scooby Doo/Hex Girls)

Dusk (Scooby Doo/Hex Girls)

Draculaura (Monster High)

He also has two dogs: Percy(black) and Gwend(spots)

Like wouldn’t it be funny tho? All the knights + Gaius and Gwen just showing up in the middle of the family having dinner

Merlin is a struggling single father who is rich and famous, total dilf in the eye of the public

“Edward, pass the potato’s”

“Get them yourself”

“You lazy ass! You’re the closest!”

“We can all levitate stuff, just use that, idiot”

“I’m going to throw you off the roof”

AND THEN BOOM

The knights + Gwen and Gaius just show up and Merlin just groans.

Like, he’s happy to see them, but he already has grown kids he needs to take care of.

“Merlin!”

“Please be a dream… PLEASE be a dream-“

“Bog man, I hate to break it to ya, but this is no dream… also, what is this place?”

“We’re in my dining room, in MY house”

“Merlin, my boy, who are these people..?”

“…. My children”

“YOUR WHAT?!?!?!?!?”

Thorn noticed you first

There was something that draws her in

She met you at a cute little dinner and invited you to one of their shows

She gives you a vip pass, and introduces you to the rest of the girls

The girl's are unsure of what Thorn was thinking, because you weren't like them

You were more girly/upbeat/not goth

Though, after getting to know you a little better, they start to really like you, especially Dusk

It's strange, because they don't usually let outsiders into their group

Though, they liked you and they liked having you around

You brough a more sunshine personality out of them

Thorn loves doing your makeup

Luna loves to dress you up

And Dusk teaches you how to play the drums, because you had shown interest in the instrument

They don't mind sharing your attention with each other, but not other people

They wouldn't know how to treat someone like you

You were to good for the world and they had to keep you

You don't have to work again, they'll support you

Don't sweat it, they don't mind

In fact, they love to spoil you

Especially if it makes you forget that the relationship might not be the healthiest

They just love you- a lot

Did I spend a not insignificant part of my short mortal life drawing a poster for a fictional Goth Rock girl band from an old Scooby Doo movie that almost no one remembers?

You're damn right I did, and I'd do it again. Luna, Dusk and Thorn.. possibly the reason all 90s Kids wanted a goth girlfriend.Happy spooky season to one and all!

Yandere Hex Girls Headcanons

•You’d been brought to one of their concerts by your favorite gang. You manage to get separated from them after the show, pulled away by the quickly leaving mob. The Hex girls find you confused and lost after the show, taking you to their dressing room to wait for your friends.

•Luna notices you first. Unlike her band mates she actually noticed you during the concert. She was always a little more observant than the others so of course she notices the mystery crew and their adorable new member. She’s the least overbearing by far. She’s very in tune with you right from the start and is able to recognize and convince the girls when you need space. Luna treats you mostly like a kitten they just brought home. All soft words and softer actions, she just wants you to feel safe.

•Thorn would notice you next. She’d see you in the empty room, like a shark senses blood. All at once she’s by your side lulling you into a false sense of security and exploiting your unease to draw you into her. Shes hanging all over you for the rest of the night, red lips teasing and taunting until your head spins. Thorn loves to play with you, able to be patient and hide her darker intentions until you’re just as obsessed as she is. Definitely sits on your lap at some point.

•Dusk doesn’t really notice you until she’s literally a few feet from you. But when she notices you she really notices you. She burns every pore on your face into her brain. Misses most of what you say because she’s daydreaming about what your lips would feel like. She’s immediately whipped for you literally the definition of being super soft for one person. Definitely shows off for you. As soon as you’re settled on the dressing room couch, she’s flexing her drummer arms. Melts at any little act of affection from you. Dusk is a total giver and takes pride in always loving you more than you love her.
