My Grandad was a special, fascinating person. . . Been going through old family photos from my Dad's side recently, and seeing my Granny and Grandad when they were young and all my other family from my Dad's side is really interesting. From what I know Grandad was really well travelled (with his job) and had a lot of really interesting stories from way back when. The most I hear of them now is through Granny, but I wish I had been able to hear more of them first hand. There's no specific reason to bring up my Grandad on this day, but he came to me in a dream last night - the significance of which I don't know, but I feel like it's deliberate. Perhaps it's to remind me to keep enjoying life, and to find a way to see more and experience things to the fullest - to keep up being a musician, as "it's the joy in playing". Or maybe I'm just self reflecting too much, who knows.
