Name of fic: Come As You Are Pairing: Mike McLusky x OFC (Allacia) Plot summary: Allacia is one of Mike’s assistants with Rebecca and she used to “work” for Milo Sunter. Warnings: Spoilers for MoK season 2 (especially episode 7), fluff, implied smut. Author’s note: I have watched the recent episode of the show, and I was kinda right with what happened next?. 😂This is my own idea of what would happen. Of course, this fic is inspired by a picture I saw on Twitter and I just had to. You’re welcome and enjoy. 😉
Allacia unlocked Mike’s office door. He wasn’t at his desk. To be honest, he wasn’t in his office at all. But she heard his phone going off as soon as she opened his door.
Rebecca already went home, so Allacia was all alone in the office.
“Mike?” She called out to the empty room.
She went over to his desk and somehow managed to unlock the drawer that Mike always kept locked. She got a paperclip out of her pocket and opened it up. She fiddled with the lock, trying to get Mike’s phone out of it. The drawer opened eventually and she picked up the phone.
She noticed that his brother Kyle was trying to call him, so she answered it.
“Hello, Mike? I need to talk to you.” She heard the voice coming from the phone. “Kyle? It’s me Allacia. Mike locked his phone in his desk drawer, for some reason.” She replied to him, closing the drawer and sitting in Mike’s chair. “Alli? What are you doing in his office so late at night?” He asked her. “I was doing some paperwork. What did you want to talk to Mike about?” She questioned Kyle.
She heard Kyle sigh into the phone. She knew he was kind of distressed as his breathing became quicker with every huff.
“Fuck. I-I just saw Iris. At this nightclub, I went to.” He panted. “What? Which club? I’ll tell Mike… wherever he is.” You got a pen and a piece of paper out and waited for Kyle to tell her the name of the club he went to. “I don’t know. The sign on the building is very unclear on what the name is.”
Allacia rubbed the bridge of her nose as she took off her glasses.
“Okay, okay… I’ll go and find Mike and see what’s happening with him. It’s weird why he’s done this.” She said to him. “You know where you’re looking?” Kyle asked her. “Yeah… I know a few places.” “Be careful out there, okay?”
Allacia just nodded. She knew how to protect herself out there on the streets of Kingstown. She could shoot a gun and could stab someone with a knife.
“I will. Go home to Traci, she needs you.” She said to him softly. “Of course, I will. Mike needs you too, you know that right?”
As she heard Kyle’s words, she hesitated for a moment. She was worried about Mike. Was he kidnapped? Or did he just go out for a walk to calm himself down?
Kyle knew about her inevitable crush on his brother. He figured it out quite quickly. Allacia was quite obvious with the lovey-dovey eyes she gave Mike, mostly all of the time.
“I know. I’ll let you know if I find him okay?” “Yeah. Let me know.”
Allacia heard Kyle end the call and she threw Mike’s phone on the desk, sighing and leaning her head back on the chair. She tried to figure out where Mike could be at this time.
His cabin? Bunny’s territory near the laundromat? The ice rink? Evelyn’s office?
There were many places, but she knew exactly where he could be.
She then got up from his chair, picked up his phone, and walked out of his office.
・ 。゚☆: .☾ . :゚.・ 。゚☆: .☽ . :☆゚.・
Meanwhile, Mike was sitting at the bar counter, drinking some whiskey. He didn’t know what was going on in his mind at the moment.
Well, just about everything. Milo, Iris, Bunny, Kyle, and his family.
And then there was Allacia. All those feelings of uncertainty fogged up his thoughts as he put his head in his hands.
Was he falling in love with her?
He didn’t realize Allacia walking into the bar, as his back was facing the front door. Her heels clicked on the wooden floor. She recognized Mike’s suit and the short sandy-brown hair.
She shook her head as she noticed the way he was slouching forward.
She eventually stood next to him and sighed softly, seeing the state he was in.
“Mr. McLusky…” She muttered quietly. “Sorry, I’m not interested.” He instantly said before asking the bartender for another drink. “Mike.”
He turned his head towards her voice and was shocked to see her standing there.
“Alli?” He gulped, the bags under his eyes were visible to her chocolate brown eyes. “What are you doing here?” “I should ask you the same question.” She mumbled under her breath.
She then sat on the barstool next to him, her body fully turned towards Mike. He had taken off his tie, maybe it was because he was getting hot and sweaty in the warm temperatures of the bar. Or maybe it was the whiskey he was drinking.
She put up her hand and shook her head, denying the offer for a drink from the bartender.
“Why did you run away? I know you did, don’t deny it like you always do.” She asked him. “I didn’t technically run away.”
She scoffed at him, raising an eyebrow.
“Yeah. You did. Me and Kyle were worried about you.” “You talked to Kyle?” “Well yeah, I didn’t have a choice. You locked your phone in your desk drawer. He was calling you, so I managed to unlock it and answer the call for you.”
Mike then turned his head towards you as you put his phone on the bar counter, sliding it to him. He managed to catch it with his left hand and put it in his pocket.
“You answered my phone?!” He grumbled. “What the fuck was I supposed to do Mike? You weren’t answering your brother, who could’ve been in distress. Which he was, by the way. He found Iris.”
Mike froze for a moment.
“What?” He faltered, the words were coming out slowly. “He found Iris. He found her in some kind of nightclub. Unfortunately, he didn’t know the name of the club. The sign was very unclear to read.” She explained to him.
Mike just groaned as he placed his head on the counter.
“I’m guessing you’re not bothered to know that just yet, huh?” Allacia said to him, hearing his groaning. She kinda knew what was going on inside of his head.
All of this was just too much for Mike. Sometimes she didn’t want him to take this job at all. Give it to someone else.
But before Mitch got shot, he wanted Mike to take over, despite Mike denying the offer over and over again.
All she saw was Mike nodding his head, grunting again.
She then stood up and pushed the half-full glass of whiskey away from Mike. She then crossed her arms and stared at him. “Come on Mike. Let’s go home.” “No. Let me stay here and wallow in pity.” Mike retorted.
Allacia just sighed.
“For fuck sake Mike, get out of the fucking chair, or I will physically pull you off of the stool.” She exhaled a little bit. “Pft. You’re not strong enough to even lift me.” “Oh yeah? Try me.”
Somehow, she managed to successfully pulled him off of the stool and outside of the bar.
“Stop being such a grumpy pants and get in the car.” She commanded him, pushing him towards her car. “I’m going to take you home.” “I don’t have a home.” He whined back as he tried to open the passenger door.
She rolled her eyes as she opened it for him.
“What?! What about your cabin?” She asked him. “Can’t go back there anymore. The FBI closed it off, so I can’t enter it, just like the last office we had.” Mike explained, muttering every word.
He climbed into the passenger seat and just sat there, staring forwards at absolutely nothing.
Allacia sighed and rolled her eyes, mumbling to herself, “You are going to be the death of me, Mr. McLusky…”
She closed the passenger door before walking over to the driver's seat, opening that door, and getting into the car. She shut the door afterward.
“Fine then. I’ll take you to my house. You’re lucky I have a spare bedroom.”
She started the engine and drove out of the bar’s carpark onto the main road.
Allacia’s house was just outside of Kingstown, not as far as Mike’s cabin, but it was away from all the chaos of the town.
“So where were you sleeping exactly? In the office?” questioned Allacia.
Mike stayed silent, looking down slowly. He then eventually said something after a moment of silence. “What do you think?” “Mike. If you would’ve told me this earlier, I would’ve let you stay at mine.” Allacia spoke in a hushed tone, keeping her eyes on the road.
Mike finally looked at her after being silent for most of the car ride.
“Wait what? You would do that for me?” He faltered as he nervously looked at her. “Mike, just because I’m your assistant, doesn’t mean I can’t take care of you. We’ve been working together since your brother Mitch was the mayor.” She explained to him.
Mike just smiled at her, the first time he has that night.
“Thanks, Allacia. For being there for me.” “No problem. I know what you’re going through. Trust me.”
・ 。゚☆: .☾ . :☆゚.・ 。゚☆: .☽ . :☆゚.
They finally arrived at her house and she parked the car in the driveway. Mike was sobering up as he managed to get out of the car.
She unlocked her front door and let Mike in first, turning on the hallway light and closing it behind her. She put her keys in her usual spot; a container that was on a shelf near the door.
Mike made himself at home, sitting on the black leather sofa in the living room.
Allacia put down her handbag, took her phone out of it, and put it on charge. She placed it on the TV stand.
She then took a creamed-colored sweater and put it on.
Mike watched as she walked into the kitchen, which was connected to the living room, and was pouring 2 cups; one was coffee and the other was herbal tea. It was peppermint flavored of course.
Herbal tea was Allacia’s guilty pleasure whenever she wanted to relax after a busy day.
She came back into the living room with the mugs, holding them from the handles. Mike raised an eyebrow at her and she noticed it. “What?” “Are you sure coffee is a good idea after I just had alcohol?” He disputed, taking the cup of coffee in his own hands. “Well, I don’t know what else you like, besides black coffee. You want me to get you anything else?” She hesitated, trying to grab back the cup of coffee.
Mike smirked at her, pulling the cup away from her grasp.
“No, no! It’s fine now. The damage is already been done.” He taunted, chuckling a little bit. “I’m going to be more hyper now, thanks to you.”
She rolled her eyes yet again, sighing at his teasing.
“How are your parents doing? Heard they were in prison…” Mike asked her, after a moment of silence. “I don’t know and I don’t care.” She shrugged her shoulders, carefully sipping her peppermint tea. “What did they do exactly? You haven’t told me about them.”
Allacia just looked at him with a sad look on her face.
“They were part of a gang. Not one that you’ve heard of though. My father was the leader of them and they were the cause of the mass shootings in Kingstown in the late 80s.” Allacia explained. “After they went into prison, I had no one to take care of me, not even a big brother or sister. I was like… 12 at the time.”
“Didn’t you like, go into an orphanage back then?” “Pft, you think the orphanage here in Kingstown took in a black kid, whose parents were big-time criminals back in the late 90s - early 2000s? Yeah right.” She scoffed, putting her cup down on the coffee table.
Mike felt sorry for her. He didn’t have a good childhood back then either.
“I’m sorry.” “Don’t be, that’s the way life goes. Of course, when I was in my early 20s… like 20-21, I went into some bad things.”
Allacia sighed. This was it. She was going to tell her about how she already knows Milo.
“You know about Milo right?” She mumbled to him.
Mike froze yet again. Did she use to work for Milo back then?
“Yeah… you worked for him?” Mike hinted, kind of already knowing what her answer was going to be.
All she did was nod.
Tears fell silently from her eyes as she tried to wipe them away. Mike wrapped his arms around her and pulled her into her chest.
She didn’t care, it was quite nice to be in his arm as she broke down. Her head was buried in Mike’s chest, his shirt was now wet from her salty tears. He patted her head, shushing her softly and trying to comfort her in some way.
“Hey. It’s okay. You know he can’t hurt you anymore.” He comforted her, rubbing her back with his other hand. He felt her nodding. She wouldn’t let go of his grasp.
“Not when I’m here to protect you.”
Allacia lifted her head to meet Mike’s blue-grey eyes. He stared back at her.
He then noticed she was fiddling with the sleeves of her sweater.
Was she nervous to be around him? Mike was nervous when he thought of her. His hands would shake slightly and he would adjust his suit every time she would enter his office or any other room he was in.
“Mike…” She would whisper to him. “Alli.” He would quietly reply to her, stroking her hair softly. “Thank you. For everything.”

Honeymoon|part 1

[dark!trailerpark!Jake x neighbour!Reader]
[warnings: Jake Jensen being flirty?, 6'5 Jake he's a big nerd that's buff, There's not much this chapter 😌 he's just a sweet baby to you]
Living in the trailer park could sometimes be unforgiving. But that was only to those who didn't dwell there. For you it was home. You knew the ins and outs of the park and who lived where. In your eyes, it was a close knit community where everyone was safe and loved. Almost like a big family.
You lived closest to the front near the entrance of the park. You liked this spot it was in front of Oldman Linton. He was one of your favourite neighbours as he always came back with some wool after he went shopping and all he asked for in return was a cup of tea, as he claimed yours were the best.
You lived simple here, all your needs were easily met and there was a huge shop about a 20 minute drive away which you could easily get the bus to.
Your job was one you adored and took pride in. You made clothing and blankets for people. They merely had to message you online, specify what they wanted. And then when you'd made it, they'd send the money and you'd send the item. It made working from home so much easier. You were truly happy as it felt like you were blessed with a quaint life which anyone humble would be jealous of.
Your trailer was perfect too. You had a cute swinging bench outside which were perfect for looking at the sun setting after a long day of sewing and crocheting and everything else.
Inside though was cozy and cute, at least that's the words Linton used. The entire floor of the trailer was covered in a white fluffy carpet, except the kitchen and bathroom which had pink tiles. You had a small pink over and microwave. Infact your entire kitchen was pink! It made your life sweeter which you adored. Your bed was a small single one, decorated in throw pillows and extra blankets as it was starting to get cold. And ofcourse on your bed layed lila. Your bunny stuffy which you took with you when you moved out of your parents house. It truly tied your trailer together.
Yet your peacefulness was disturbed this morning by a loud road of an engine. One that belonged on a fierce motorbike which was always accompanied by a fierce man. However you decided to explore anyway, as you'd heard rumors of someone moving into the trailer directly next to yours meaning a new neighbor who you could ask for sugar when you ran out when baking cupcakes.
You opened your door and the engine cut off. You stepped outside clad only in your thin white nightdress and a dressing gown. You watched a man get off the bike and take his helmet off when he turned to you, making you breath catch in you throat. He was beautiful. His blonde hair was short, he had a strange beard yet it suited his face perfectly, plump pink lips and the prettiest blue eyes you think you'd ever had the honour of gazing at. And then you did a double take as you saw how big he was. He was massive! He looked to be 6'5! His height and how muscly he was made your knees shake yet you decided to blame that on the cold breeze that just swept by that snapped you out of your stupor.
You were none the wiser to the man also taking you in, admiring the craftsmanship of your body. From every curve that shaped you to each dent that formed you, he was undeniably attracted to you. After you both had explored each other with your eyes, your face broke into a smile making his heart race slightly over how you looked like sunshine and sweetness on a stick. You walked over to the edge of the decking of your trailer so that you could be closer and you looked down slightly and spoke.
"Hi there! Are you moving in?"
"I am indeed, I take it your my neighbour."
"I am, just a warning I'll probably be popping by a lot to ask for sugar but I'll always repay you with one of my cookies or cupcakes."
"Well sweetness, I think that we're gonna be very good neighbors and excellent friends then because I have an incredibly sweet tooth. I'm surprised my teeth are rotting from talking to you. My name's Jake."
You blushed at his words, he was so flirtious that you couldn't do anything but blush. He'd knocked you off your feet with his overwhelming compliment of how sweet he thought you seemed. After regaining your thoughts you smiled at him and told him your name to which he hummed and said,
"Yeah it matches you sugar. Pretty name for a pretty girl."
To which you blushed again at. You smiled at him and spoke getting acquainted with him while he was putting his boxes in his deck getting ready to move in. You rounded him to be nerdy but you thought it to be cute how smart he can be. It reminded you to never ask him to play chess as he would ultimately destroy you within at least 5 moves.
You also thought him funny and sweet, the entire time you were speaking he was flirting with you and making you giggle. Yes you liked your new neighbor. He was so attractive and sweet. What more could you ask from someone. You decided to retire back to your home so you could begin on an order which was a Cardigan that had teddy bears and clouds on it. You thought it to be utterly adorable and you were almost finished. You just had to add buttons on it and make sure it wasn't loose anywhere. So you bid goodbye to Jake and wished him luck with unpacking.
After an hour or two, you weren't quite sure time seemed to get sucked into a pit of nothingness when you were working, you finished the cardigan! You decided to try it on and see if there were any faults in the fabric, yet there were none. You decided you would keep in on to keep you warm while you went out to stretch your legs.
As you went out, you saw Jake sweating from carrying all those boxes adorned in a pink t-shirt that read 'Go Petunias!'. You found it adorable. Jake caught you staring and decided to break you out of your thoughts by explaining the top;
"It's my niece's football team."
"Huh?"
He chuckled and pointed at his top. He saw your face flush at being caught staring at his chest and the shirt he wore.
"Yeah she's in the playoffs. She's a great kid. Gotta show support for the teams or else I'd be a real crappy cheerleader."
You giggled at him, "Well you're definitely the best cheerleader I've seen. It's cute, I love it."
Jake smiled as the blush hit his cheeks, "thanks sugar, maybe you can be my cheerleader. Ya know, support me when I'm tired from cheering."
You both broke out into laughter at this notion but you knew deep down you would if he asked you to. You already trusted him purely from how kind he seemed. Maybe that's why so many people called you gullible. You were oblivious to the idea he could be a bad man, all you saw was the sun radiating from his smile, not the blood that was splattered on his face from the past.
As you were once again suffocating yourself in the idea of you and Jake, he noticed that you had changed your fluffy dressing gown for a cute cardigan that had bears and clouds decorating it. He thought it was adorable, you truly were sugary sweetness just wrapped in anything cute and cuddly.
"I like your cardigan, where did you get it, I'm sure I can add it to my cheerleader uniform."
"Oh! I made it haha, I'm just trying to wear it in so there's nothing wrong before I send it away!"
"Wow, you made that. Damn. Is it a hobby?"
"Oh no it's my job! People can put orders online and stuff. And I make it! From blankets to dresses, I do it all. When I've made it they send the money and I send it off!"
Jake was in awe, you would make a perfect little house wife. You could cook and bake, and now you can make clothes. He was mesmerized by everything about you. His mouth spoke then before his mind could stop him;
"Ya know sugar, if you ever need anything fixing in your trailer just make me a new sweater and it's fixed!"
You giggled at him but noted it down. You were going to make him a sweater that had a cupcake on it. You knew he'd like it from how he kept calling you sugar, he liked the sweet stuff in life. And you were determined to wrap him in your own personal version of sweetness.
"I'll keep that in mind Jake! I've gotta go but it's super awesome having you as my neighbour!"
"And you too sugar. You need anything doing online, let me know okay?"
"Okay." And with that you saw him smile before you turned and your face painted it's own smile with a matching blush on your cheeks. No time for flirting, you thought. You had to notify the girl online you made her item and get your money!
Ever since then you had been working on the sweater for Jake, trying to make it perfect so he could stay warm during this cold time and also look handsomely cute too. All the while you would bump into him every morning and you would invite him to sit with you on your bench with a cup of tea or coffee each.
You adored the mornings with him, his voice would still be gruff from just waking up and he'd be so soft, retelling stories of when he was in different countries yet never telling you his job leaving you to ponder his secret. Yet you liked the mystery, he was like a nerdy James Bond in your mind and you used that idea in your fantasies far too often when making his sweater.
It was a month later when you had almost finished the sweater, yet you needed a break. And decided you needed to go shopping. So you grabbed your purse and some bags so you carry your shopping home on the bus and began on your journey.
You were dressed in a small lilac dress which had small white flowers swirling all over it. You matched it with a purple jacket you bought years ago. It was aged but it was still so pretty to you as the buttons were little roses and were decorated to beautifully. You cherished it especially with this dress.
As you got off the bus, you began on your small walk to store and just as you were pulling a trolley out of the lot you heard a gentle shout of your name. You turned and saw Jake with a flush on his cheeks from what you assumed was his jog. He beamed at you.
"Hey there cupcake, didn't know you were shopping today, if I did I would have offered you a ride."
"I decided I needed to stretch my legs before I let my project consume me as well as my work. Plus I think I might bake some cookies!" You flashed him an excited smile as you spoke to him.
Jake could have swore he almost had a heart attack from your pretty smile but instead decided he wanted to extend you two hanging out for as long as possible as he adored your optimistic presence. It's something that he didn't have a lot with his line of work. So he was bathing in the loveliness while he could.
"Come on sugar, give me that. I'll help you and then I can give you a lift home on my bike."
As Jake intercepted you and took the trolley, you froze and let out a squeak to which he immediately looked down at you in concern.
"What's wrong sugar?"
"I've never been on a motorbike! And I'm scared so I- I'll just get the bus!"
"No, no, no. Angel you're gonna ride the bike with me, I promise I'll keep you safe and I'll even drive super slow okay?"
After a moments pause, you sighed and puffed your cheeks out
"O-okay."
"Atta girl! You'll be fine angel I promise."
As you were going down the food isles nattering about the new order you got of a skirt which was long and black yet had little purple flowers on it, you looked and saw him smiling.
"Why are you smiling Jakey?"
"Because sugar you're so lovely to be around. In my line of work I'm used to sour and bitter things but you're so sweet. I'm so glad I'm retired, it makes me appreciate sweet things like you."
You blushed heavily at his words. You felt overjoyed that he appreciated you, he truly thought you were sweet and you couldn't help but let that get to your head bit. Yet as you were basking in the compliment Jake had kindly given you, you looked and saw him gazing at a woman across from you and you immediately turned to look. And with that your heart fell and crumbled quickly. She was the opposite of you completely and you could tell Jake was attracted from how he scanned her up and down.
You felt so stupid ofcourse you weren't his type. You're too trusting! You need to stop getting caught up in fantasy and instead focus on reality which is where he only saw you as his friend. With a heavy sigh you swallowed you fragmented heart and set off down the ilse slowly so Jake wouldn't think anything was wrong.
You decided to bite the bullet and ask the question,
"So do you have your eye on any lucky ladies?"
He let out a loud hearty chuckle making you confused on if he was or not. After clearing his throat he smiled and answered you in an amused tone,
"I don't sugar, but I'll definitely let you know if I do. Maybe you can tell me if you think they're nice or not hmm?"
With that said your fears were wiped free and you felt a calmness settle in your heart and you began nattering again to him about what to bake when you get home which he would eagerly reply with a joke of asking to taste test your baked delights.
As you were at the checkout, Jake told you to start packing the bags and ofcourse you followed his order, he had a domainating aura around him which you surrendered to every time. You were clueless to him getting his wallet out until it was too late.
As you were carrying your bags you began walking fast upset. Jake immediately noticed and caught up stopping you.
"Hey sugar what's wrong? I thought I was biking you back home?"
You puffed your cheeks out and with tears in your eyes you poked at his chest angrily and spoke,
"You shouldn't have paid! It was my stuff and now I feel like I have to pay you back and I don't want to! I worked hard to be independent and now everyone's gonna think I'm codependent on you!"
After you angry words, tears streamed down your face which Jake quickly wiped away with his large hand. He soothed your thoughts before they could wreak further havoc in your sweet little mind.
"I'm sorry angel, but I promise you, you don't. And even if you think so, then think of you as being my friend payment enough. It's amazing to have someone to talk to again honestly. And no one's gonna think that sugar. Everyone knows how amazing you are. Okay? Just don't let this get to your head baby, it's not worth it."
After his sweet words he kissed your forehead and you began your walk back to his bike where he put all your shopping in a large back pack and helped you put it on before placing a helmet on your head. He got on in front of you and you instantly wrapped you arms around his waist tightly in fear. And then you were off.
You will admit it was nice, and you were safe, after everything you ended up baking cupcakes and brought him a freshly decorated one before quickly going to Linton's and giving him one too, where you stayed to talk to him about your new projects. All in all you would say it was a fun day.
It was 2 weeks later when your fridge broke and your sink started leaking. You had no other option but to ask Jake for help. However you finished the sweater last week and you were proud of yourself. It was a dark blue and on the chest it had a cupcake on it and underneath it had the words sugar on it in white writing. It was definitely cute and you loved it.
Swallowing your anxiety down, you took a breath and grabbed the neatly folded sweater before heading to Jake's trailer. You gently knocked on the door 3 times before he answered it. Wearing only a pair of loose tan pants. His well built torso on display. You would have oogled him yet you were too busy worrying about the leak in your kitchen spreading to you fluff carpet. So you pushed your arms out with the sweater held in it and spoke quickly,
"You said if I ever had any problems in my trailer you'd fix them if I made you a sweater! So I made one and I urgently need your help, pretty please."
Jensen was taken aback by the fact that you had taken his words seriously, and he could feel his heart melt for you. You were perfect, truly. He knew then he wanted you as his little wife. You made him a damn sweater just so he would help you. What would you do when your married, would you make him special blankets? Would you make clothes for your babies? How many kids would-
His thoughts were cut out by you whispering please and giving him puppy dog eyes. He was a slave to you right then and there. So he simply nodded and took the sweater from your arms and placed it on the counter next to his door before he followed you, rushing to your trailer.
Within minutes you were explained the problem and within seconds he had appeared with a tool box and began working. Relieved of your temporary stress you sighed and got back to your own work. You were now making a cute white dress that had long puffy sleeves and was corset like. It was honestly one of your most beautiful works. You were going to call it the butterfly dress due to the neckline looking almost like butterfly wings.
As you both continued working, you allowed idle talk to fill the air, Jake was asking about your love life to which you simply giggled and said you didn't have one, further making Jake want you to be his. The more you two spoke the more determined Jake was to have you as his in name, in body, mind, soul and heart.
After he fixed everything he stood behind you as you were working on the bodice of the dress and he leaned down and kissed your head whispering sweetly not to work too hard. You could feel your heart explode with happiness over how kind Jake was.
As you were about to continue working, Jake interrupted your thoughts just as he was leaving,
"Oh angel remember a while back, you asked if I had my eye on anyone?"
You felt your heart dip into your throat in anxiousness over fear that your silly little crush was to be over in seconds.
"Y-yeah."
"Well I do now." But before your heart could break he flashed you a cheeky smile and a wink. Making you blush heavily. It was official you liked Jake Jensen, and you think he liked you too.

I'm Just Ken
Name of fic: I’m Just Ken
Pairing: Jeremy Renner x female reader
Plot summary: After Jeremy and Ava went to watch Barbie, and you get back from grocery shopping, you hear a certain song blasting on Jeremy’s playlist once you get back home…
Word count: 688 words
Warnings: Fluff, just fluff. Author’s note: I watched Barbie at the cinema and I absolutely loved it! I feel like Ava would drag Jeremy along to watch Barbie with her, and I stand by that. Also Jeremy is definitely a Ken, and I would think he would play Ken if it didn’t go to Ryan 😂 So enjoy this short drabble I just wrote!
youtube
As you get back home from a busy day of grocery shopping, you closed the door to the house you share with your boyfriend, Jeremy and his daughter Ava. You tried to carry two full bags through the front door as you call out to the two of them. “Hey! I’m back!” You heard Ava run from her room towards the front door as she went up to you, helping you with the shopping, taking the lighter bag out of the two for you. “Thank you Ava. Now, where’s your dad?” You ask him, as Ava smiled and pointed at his music studio.
You nodded back, thanking her before you both made your way to the kitchen. “How was Barbie, Ava?” You continued to ask her, you didn’t go with her as you already seen it with your best friend y/bf/n, so Ava dragged Jeremy to go and see it instead. “It was amazing! Daddy got me a Barbie and Ken doll afterwards! Can you play with me later?” Ava excitingly said to you, slightly jumping up and down.
“Of course, you go up to your room and prepare our playdate whilst I’ll go and surprise your dad, okay?” Ava nodded again as she rushed back to her room to get the dolls. In the meantime, putting away everything only took a few minutes, and that gave you time to check in on Jeremy. You knew he was currently making music because of two reasons: the first one being obvious as in his accident earlier that year, and the other reason being the writer strikes going on right now. You slowly walk towards the music studio, and your ears pricked up like a dog as you heard a familiar song going on behind the door. Is that…? You quietly opened the door and the song became more clearer as ‘I’m Just Ken’ by Ryan Gosling – that was in the Barbie movie – was playing through Jeremy’s speakers. And he was singing along to it. ‘Did this mean that he liked the movie then?’ You thought to yourself as you sneaked up behind him. You have always adored his singing voice, even before your relationship with him and you made that clear on your first date. 'Cause I'm just Ken
Anywhere else I'd be a ten
Is it my destiny to live and die a life of blonde fragility?
“Hey Ken!” You teased him as you tapped him on the shoulder, which made him jump slightly and turned around to face you. “Oh my God Y/n! Don’t sneak up on me like that!” He retorted at you, sighing with relief to find out it was you who sneaked up on him. You just laughed.
“I just got back from shopping and Ava told me you would be in here.” You explained to him as you noticed that he was wearing some Barbie merch, more specifically the ‘I’m Just Kenough’ shirt that Ryan Gosling wore in the movie. “Did you enjoy the movie then?” You asked him, trying not to laugh as you snigger to yourself. “I did actually.” Jeremy said proudly.
“Y’know… you could’ve been in that movie as Ken. I mean, you’ve got a good enough singing voice.” You suggested to him with a smile. “Yes, but Ryan is more attractive than me…” You snigger as you playfully push him. “That is not true, you know that! Would you do it though, if Scarlett was Barbie?” You ask him with a slight smirk on your face. Jeremy smirked back as he wrapped his arms around your waist, pulling you closer towards him. “I would’ve done it either way.” He simply said, just before kissing you softly on the lips and you wrapped your arms around his neck. You were only slightly shorter than Jeremy, so you had to get on your tip-toes to kiss him.
"You're my Barbie, y'know that right?" Jeremy said to you, with a smile on his face.
"Yeah I know that..." You laugh at him, a smile on your face as well and both of your foreheads together. "And you're my Ken."

Name of fic: Coast
Pairing: Jeremy Renner x black!reader
Summary: You are an aspiring music artist who is sharing an apartment with Hailee. You both attend a party where Hailee is hosting it and you notice she invited Jeremy, your celebrity crush, to the party.
Inspired by: Coast by Hailee Steinfeld ft. Anderson Paak.
Word count: 2.2k words
Warnings: Language, fluff, implied sexual content.
Author's note: You have social anxiety and you aren't really used to parties, just to let you know.
2nd person POV:
You were sitting in your bedroom, writing some lyrics for your second album that you were going to announce at the next award show. Your first one was a huge success, making you win Best Newcomer at the MTV Music Awards.
Just then, your friend Hailee came into your bedroom wearing a beautiful purple dress with her hair down to her shoulders. She closed the door behind her and looked at you in confusion.
“Y/n? What the hell are you doing?” She asked you, putting on one of her earrings in her ear.
“What do you mean? I’m staying in tonight.” You responded.
“No, you’re not. We are going to a party.”
“Why?”
“Because this will be your first celebrity party and I’m hosting it. Also, you’re my best friend.” Hailee explained.
“Not a good enough reason.” You simply said as you looked back down at your notebook.
Hailee just sighed. ‘Well, time to bring out the big guns…’ She thought to herself.
She cleared her throat as she went over to your wardrobe and began to say, “He’ll be there.”
You looked up instantly. You knew exactly who she was on about.
Her co-star and your celebrity crush. Jeremy Renner.
“Wait seriously? Did you invite him? Please don’t tell me you’re lying. You did that last time.” You said to her.
“I know I did it last time, but this time I’m telling the truth Y/n. He’s going to be there.” Hailee replied, holding up a red dress that you owed. She threw it to the floor and continued to browse through your clothes.
“Hailee… You know we met on my first music video and he agreed to be my backup dancer for Best Behaviour. He probably won’t remember me.”
Hailee then stopped in her tracks. She turned around and walked towards you. She then took your notepad and pen out of your hand and placed them besides you.
“Don’t. You’re doing it again.”
“I’m doing what again?”
“Doubting yourself. I think, by the end of the night, he will ask you to do a duet or something. And maybe something more…” Hailee wiggled her eyebrows suggestively, winking at you before going back to your wardrobe.
You just laughed at her predictions.
“Yeah. Right. I would rather not go and embarrass myself again, thanks.” You chucked silently, shaking your head.
“Oh come on Y/n!”
You sigh as you look up yet again.
“You’re not going to leave it alone until I say yes, aren’t you?”
“What do you think?” Hailee turned her head to look at you and raised an eyebrow. You decided to admit defeat, putting your head in your hands.
“Fine. But I don’t have anything nice to wear though.”
Hailee chuckled. “And that’s why you have me as your best friend. You can borrow one of my dresses.”
“Really? Thanks, Hailee.”
“Anything for my best friend.”
➽─────────❥
Later on, you both arrived at the party. You were wearing a short dark teal-coloured dress with leather lace-up white boots. You also had your y/h/c afro-textured hair, up in a bun. Hailee insisted on you wearing contact lenses, but you disagreed; mentioning that you wear them every single day for music videos, photoshoots and interviews.
Hailee left your side to become the host of her party and you went straight to the bar. You weren’t used to going to parties. Especially to the celebrity ones, in which you know everyone there.
Speaking of, where was Jeremy, you thought to yourself. Hailee did specify that your celebrity crush was going to be here. You didn’t know what he was going to wear. Possibly not a suit and tie. It wasn’t that kind of party.
You decided to order a lemonade; you didn’t drink as you didn’t trust yourself with alcohol. Just then, as your back was turned, you heard a very familiar voice.
“Y/n Y/l/n?”
You slowly turn around, sipping your lemonade through a straw and you couldn’t believe your eyes.
It was him. Standing in front of you.
He was wearing a Led Zeppelin t-shirt, a black leather jacket, denim jeans and white lace-up trainers.
Thank God you didn’t have to go up to him and say hi yourself. That would’ve been bad for your social anxiety.
“Jeremy! I can’t believe it’s you!” You said to him, as calmly as you could without freaking the fuck out. You already met him but he was still your celebrity crush.
Were you dreaming or something?
“It’s been a while.” He chuckled. “This isn’t your scene?” He asked you, gesturing towards the people dancing in front of them.
How the hell did he know that? Were you the only awkward person there?
“Yeah, no. It’s not. I’m more of a staying-in kind of person.” You confessed, laughing awkwardly.
“Hmm.. same here,” Jeremy replied.
You weren’t surprised. He was more of a private than a public person than his co-star and your best friend, Hailee.
“So, why are you here exactly?” You asked him, continuing to sip your drink.
“Oh, well Hailee told me you were here and I had to come, you know?” Jeremy explained. “Your cover of ‘What I’ve Done’ was amazing. Rock songs fit your style.”
“Oh thank you. That’s amazing, coming from you. You’re a great singer as well.” You blushed.
“Thank you. Barely anyone listens to my songs though…” Jeremy mumbled.
“Well I do, that’s something, right? I bet a lot of people do!” You reassured him, placing your empty glass down.
Jeremy just smiled at you as he drank from his glass.
“You know… I would love to do a duet with you someday, instead of you being my backup dancer in a music video.” You managed to get the courage to ask him. He would probably say no, but it was worth a try, right?
“I would love to do that too. I did promise Hailee a duet as well.” He chuckled.
You remembered that interview where they were both asked who the better singer was. And that was when the interviewer mentioned them doing a duet at some point.
“Oh yeah… she did mention that to me as well. We are kinda best friends. Ever since she did the first season of Dickinson. We met on the set and I was a makeup artist on there.”
“Wait, a makeup artist? You know how to do makeup?”
“Yeah… you were kind of my inspiration for doing makeup.” You blushed even more and ordered another drink, trying not to make eye contact with Jeremy.
Jeremy just smiled and laughed.
“Really? That’s good to hear! Anyways, do you want to dance, or is that not your thing either?” Jeremy asked you.
“No, no! I love dancing, don’t worry!” You laughed. “I would love to dance with you.”
As Jeremy held his hand out for you to take, you put your drink down and chuckled. You notice Hailee staring at you and Jeremy. She gave a thumbs up to you and you shrugged your shoulders, laughing back at her.
Hailee got the DJ to play your song Best Behaviour as you and Jeremy made it to the dancefloor.
You chuckled embarrassingly but you started to move your hips to the music, throwing your hands in the air.
As you got into the song, you started to sing and you made eye contact with Jeremy, who was also dancing. You had dance lessons recently and you made him impressed with your dancing.
“You’re a good dancer!” Jeremy shouted over the music.
“Thanks!” You shouted back.
You then weren’t expecting Jeremy to carefully touch your hips and move simultaneously with yours. You weren’t uncomfortable with it at all. Well, you were as if he was your crush, but he has done it before.
The eye contact between the two of you was inseparable. Your y/e/c eyes were gazing into his grey ones. Or were they green?
Blue?
You couldn’t tell to be honest.
“You wanna get out of here?”Jeremy asked you, his mouth near your ear. You flushed as your cheeks went red. “Is that a yes or a no?” He added on. You saw his smirk as you chuckled.
“Why would I say no to that?” You responded. ➽─────────❥
Back at his place, Jeremy was looking at you as he came out of the bathroom with just a towel wrapped around his waist. You didn’t mind if he had a shower once you both got back to his house.
You sat on the sofa, watching some TV whilst you wait for him. After a moment, you paused your show and looked up to see him staring at you. You just looked at the TV again and pressed play on the show again...
"Is there a reason why you're staring at me?" You asked him.
"Just.. wondering what you're doing?" He replied, crossing his arms.
"You didn't hear me screaming and shouting whilst you were in the bathroom? I was watching a fight on my favourite TV show."
"Sounded like something else to me..."
You looked up to see him in only a towel. You hesitated a little bit as you saw his body. His dad-bod was fully showing but you could tell he was training for Hawkeye. You didn't notice that you were staring at him with such a cute face, according to Jeremy at least.
"Stop doing that with your face, someone else might snatch you up," Jeremy mumbled.
"What am I doing with my face? And… 'someone else'? I'm not yours, you know?"
"You know damn well what you’re doing and well not yet anyways..." Jeremy mumbled to himself; you didn't hear the second part of what he said.
He then cleared his throat as he continued to say, "Anyways, the bathroom is free for you to use. If you need it of course."
You hummed and nodded your head in acknowledgement as you got up and went into the bathroom.
You asked Jeremy if you could have a bath beforehand. And he agreed, of course.
After a while, you went to have a bubbly bath, spending about an hour in it. You got out of the bath eventually and wrapped a towel around your y/s/c body. You then stepped out of the bathroom and you instantly saw Jeremy lying on the bed in his boxers, reading a comic book.
Was he teasing you?
"Did you enjoy your bath?" He didn't even look up as he asked that, still reading his comic book.
"I did. Just.. going to get my clothes from my suitcase." You replied. Hailee managed to pack you a bag with spare clothing and stuff, just in case you did stay at Jeremy’s. You went over to the bag and got some pyjamas from it. It was a tank top and shorts that were purple and black. You took the towel off and started to put them on.
Jeremy raised an eyebrow as he quickly looked up to see you naked, but respectfully looked down.
"Are you seriously dressing in front of me?" Jeremy asked you, hiding his face behind the comic book.
"I can't be bothered to go back to the bathroom, just to get changed." You replied.
"Then why didn't you take your clothes into the bathroom then?" Jeremy pondered.
"And get my clothes wet? No thanks."
"Do you want some privacy or something?" He looked up to see you topless. You already had your shorts on and were putting your tank top on.
"I don't mind. If it makes you uncomfortable, then you can leave the room..."
You blushed as you realised Jeremy was looking at you whilst you were half-naked.
“Could you not? I’m half-naked!” You exhaled slowly and heavily.
“Not my fault. You’re the one that is in front of me, getting dressed.” He answered.
“Wh – what? Jeremy, this is serious!" You sighed.
“And I’m being serious as well.”
You raised an eyebrow at him as you put on your tank top. You then looked at the obvious tent in his boxers. You looked away quite quickly, so he wouldn’t notice.
But it was too late.
He noticed.
You watched with your y/e/c eyes as he put down his comic book and got up from his bed. You slowly got up from your kneeling position as you faced Jeremy.
He slowly walked towards you. He then stopped you from getting up. You kept the kneel position from before, realizing that your face was quite near his dick.
“It’s hot when you talk back, you know that?”Jeremy said with a growl in his voice. He then went to grab your hair softly, making you stand up to look at his face. “Does it make you nervous when I stare?”
You couldn’t talk as he then placed a hand underneath your chin.
He noticed you stammering and stuttering every word that was trying to get out of your mouth.
He just chuckled softly.
“It’s okay baby. “ You shuddered at the nickname. “I like you staring at me. Now… What are we going to do about this beautiful face, huh?” He stroked your face with his left hand, his thumb caressing your bottom lip.
You looked at him, with such lust in your eyes.
“Anything you want…” You whispered, hoping that he didn’t hear that. Unfortunately, he did.
“Anything I want, darling?” A Southern twang was heard in his accent; a twang you thought was so attractive and sexy. That was what you loved about him.
All you did was nod, biting your lip.

Oodie-Boogie
Name of fic: Oodie-Boogie
Pairing: Jeremy Renner x female reader
Summary: Y/n decided to get an Oodie as a gift for herself. Of course, Jeremy doesn't know about it until he comes back from filming Rennervations in India.
Warnings: Fluff, implied smut, language.
Jeremy walked into his house that he shared with his girlfriend Y/n. He closed the front door behind him and dropped his backpack on the floor. He looked around the hallway before calling out to her.
“Y/n! Where are you?” He said.
“Bedroom!” He heard her reply.
He smiled as he walked up the stairs and knocked on the bedroom door. Even though they were together, they weren’t very intimate with each other yet. So they would knock on the door whenever one of them was in the room.
“Are you decent?” Jeremy asked her, to which he heard Y/n hum in approval. He then opened the door slowly and was surprised to see Y/n, in an avocado Oodie.
Of course, an Oodie (if no one knows what they are) was a blanket hoodie, which was made with two types of fleece and sells itself as the ‘warmest… piece of clothing you’ll ever own’.
But that wasn’t what Jeremy was surprised about.
As Y/n was lying on top of the bed, her legs were crossed. He noticed she wasn’t wearing any panties, not even pyjamas shorts. He saw her biting her lip seductively, pulling her Oodie up slightly and slowly opening her legs, like she was in Basic Instinct.
“…Y/n?” He hesitated a moment as his mouth was slightly gasped.
“Hey there sailor.” She purred.
Jeremy then squinted his eyes as he saw a bit more underneath her Oodie. She was fucking naked! He had no words as he watched her hand go towards her clit and insert her index finger into it.
Jeremy felt his dick twitch in his pants. He was not expecting this situation at all, especially for you. It was mostly himself who would do this.
But it was Valentine's Day. And it was probably a present for him.
“Fuck.” Is all that Jeremy could mumble under his breath as he closed the bedroom door behind him.
“What was that, baby? Did I hear you say, ‘you want to fuck me’?” Y/n cooed. All Y/n could hear was the growling coming from Jeremy as he pulled down his jeans and boxers, letting her see his erected dick, slowly bobbing up and down. Her tongue licked her lip at the sight of it.
“Come here baby.” She beckoned Jeremy with her other hand .
And all the neighbours could hear was the moaning and groaning coming from their bedroom. As well as, the creaking of the floorboards and the king-sized bed squeaking rhythmically.

Name of fic: bad idea right? Pairings: Jeremy Renner x OFC (Simone), Anthony Mackie x OFC (Simone - brother/sister relationship), Sebastian Stan/Anthony Mackie. Plot summary: Her half-brother Anthony invited Simone to an afterparty where some famous people go to have a blast of a party. But it feels like the more time she spends at the party, the more she wants to go home with Jeremy… it’s a bad idea, right? Fic inspired by: The song “bad idea right?” by Olivia Rodrigo. Author’s note: I’m not gonna keep saying “half-brother”, so if it says brother then you know what I mean. And don’t worry Simone is 22, so she’s old enough.
youtube
Simone’s POV
Halloween. 2023.
My black curly hair was up in a ponytail as I wore a loose, revealing black dress, see-through grey tights, really long, black leather boots and cat ears and tail – with black makeup on my face to show a cute little nose and whiskers, and of course fangs – I walked into the undisclosed location of an afterparty somewhere in Los Angeles. I was Anthony Mackie’s plus-one, and I was his half-sister, surprisingly.
“Simi!” And that was his annoying voice. I was joking of course. I could see he was dressed as zombie Falcon – a very unoriginal idea if you ask me. But I noticed him talking to Sebastian Stan – who was Cowboy Ken – and someone else; I waved at him as I walked over to the group and as I got closer to them, I realised who the third person was.
No fuckin’ way.
“Jeremy?” I exclaimed out loud as I recognised the dimples in Renner’s face when he smiled. Yes, I didn’t acknowledge Anthony or Sebastian that much, but can you blame me? I haven’t seen Jeremy since I did some voice work for his film, Arctic Dogs.
I was trying to figure out what Jeremy was wearing exactly. Was he like a vampire? Or some kind of Joker? I could see some kind of temporary hair dye in his hair.
“Hey, Simone!” I heard him excitedly say back to me, and I then felt him hug me and softly kiss my cheek. I tried not to freak out as I heard snickering from my brother’s mouth. Jeremy had a confusing look on his face as we both pulled away.
I gave Anthony a look, tilting my head with a look as I glared at him. “Anthony Dwane Mackie. Don’t you fuckin’ snigger at me.” “What? I-I was not sniggering at all!” Anthony said, looking like I offended him in some way and a hand on his chest, gasping out loud, to which Sebastian playfully slapped his ‘friend’s’ arm. “Anyways, are you dressed as a sexy cat?” “Mh-hm. A sexy vampire cat, to be more exact.” I explained to them, showing off the bite mark that was on my neck and the fangs of course, which made Sebastian have a confused look on his face. “I didn’t know cats could be vampires…” “It’s called using your imagination, Sebastian,” Anthony remarked. “Well, I think it looks good on you, Simone.”
I heard Jeremy complimenting me and I tried not to blush at his words.
“And what are you supposed to be, Mackie? Because going as your own character is so predictable for you.” Jeremy then asked Mackie.
I just nodded at what Jeremy just said, his laughter was quite loud. I could hear him trying to get his words out, his drink going down the wrong way.
“I’m sorry, but that costume is so unoriginal!” “Oh, so going as a sexy vampire is any better?” As Anthony said that, Jeremy had a confused look on his face. ‘Was he not a vampire?’ I thought to myself. As he showed my brother that he didn’t have any fake fangs in his mouth, it was clear that he wasn’t dressed as a vampire.
“Does this look like I’m a vampire?” “Not really mate,” Sebastian said casually, with a shrug of his shoulders. “What are you supposed to be exactly?” “I’m supposed to be Lucifer. From the show? Hence the suit and the slight red hair dye….” Jeremy tried to explain to Anthony, Sebastian and myself, but the Falcon and Winter Soldier duo couldn’t see it. They then started to complain about where his horns and wings were.
But I was digging the costume. It did look like he was blooded up and the suit was teared up. He looked quite hot like that.
“Doesn’t Lucifer have horns or, at least wings?” Anthony asked him. “Well yes, but even though he does have them, does he show them all the time? No.” “Well, I think it’s a cool outfit idea actually,” I said out loud, but I wouldn’t expect to say the next thing that came out of my mouth. “It’s actually quite hot.” My hands went to my mouth as quick as the Flash, and my eyes noticed Anthony – again – trying so hard not to laugh out loud. Sebastian was facing away from us, so I couldn’t tell if he was sniggering.
Of course, I was too scared to see Jeremy’s reaction.
Little did I know that he was smirking at my unique choice of words.
“Ooh, they’re doing karaoke!” I exhaled as Anthony changed the subject, but I was dreading for him to ask me to sing. “Sis, you should definitely sing!” “Wait, you can sing?” That surprised Jeremy as I sighed, shrugging my shoulders. I didn’t want to sing in front of a few hundred people. That was not my thing. “Y-yeah…?” I said with slight hesitation to my voice. “Please could you sing for me?” Anthony pleaded with me.
All that I could was freeze for a moment. But it looked like Jeremy could see the nervousness in me as he placed a hand on my shoulder, which seemed to calm me down slightly.
“If she doesn’t want to sing, then she doesn’t have to,” Jeremy told Anthony with a stern look on his face. “Fine, fine… But anyway me and Sebastian are going to go up. C’mon, Seb!” “Wait what-”
I didn’t even hear Sebastian trying to get his words out or see Anthony pulling his best mate towards the karaoke machine as I was quite distracted by Jeremy himself… Which only left me and Jeremy on our own. My anxiousness rose as soon as I realised that it was only the two of us together.
I couldn’t think of anything to say to him. Other than…
“So how have you been since… y’know?” I asked him, not wanting to bring the taboo subject up. I didn’t know if it was a good thing to ask him about his well-being after his accident. But as soon as I heard him say that he was well, that lifted my spirits a little bit. “I’ve been well, I guess… how about you?” He asked me with a soft smile. “Meh. I mean, my career in both music and acting is going alright. I was in the Barbie movie-” “Oh shit yeah! You were the… daughter, right?” I just nodded as Jeremy continued to say. “I didn’t mean any of what I said about Barbie…” All I did was laugh. “Don’t worry Jeremy. I don’t take offence to any of that.” She chuckled with a slight blush on her face.
Jeremy also laughed softly, with a small smile on his face.
“That’s good. I don’t want to be mean to you.” Jeremy said to me, to which I raised an eyebrow at what he said. “What? Jay, you’ve never been mean to me… what do you mean?” I asked him with a confused look on my face. “Well, I’ve never wanted to be disrespectful or angry at you. I know how you hate grappling with emotions and people being mean to you. It makes you annoyed–” “Jeremy… what are you going on about?”
Jeremy moved closer towards me and cleared his throat.
“Well…” Jeremy was trying to get his words out, and I realised he was trying to avoid eye contact with me. Not deliberately of course, but I had a feeling why he was being like this around me. “Jeremy… is it because you like me, not as a friend, but romantically?” I asked him, with a blush on my face, hesitantly touching his arm. He looked at me with a slight chuckle coming up his throat, managing to face me again. “I guess that’s what I’m trying to say, yeah.”
I just looked at him with a bright smile, and he could see the blush on my face. I saw him move even closer towards me, and it felt like the world had stopped spinning. Did his arm accidentally touch my own?
“Do you want to get out of here, Simone? This party is a bit of a bore, right?” Jeremy asked, standing beside me and unconsciously parting his lips, clearing his throat. “You want to leave my brother and his friend here?” I retort back, noticing that Jeremy was sipping his drink and licking his lips. “Well, I think he’s doing quite well here actually,” Jeremy said as he pointed towards my brother, who was clearly flirting with Sebastian. I knew that they had a thing, but I always thought that it was a joke or something.
Anthony and Sebastian were still at the karaoke machine, singing some kind of rap/hip-hop song – to which I couldn’t figure out what the song was – and I noticed that my brother was sexually gazing at Sebastian, exploring his body. And then Sebastian was reaching out to slide his fingers down to Anthony’s hand and pulling him close.
“Okay then. We can get out of here.” I smiled at him before he took my hand and led me out of the undisclosed location of the party.
As we both got to his place – as he had a house in LA if he was visiting the city – he had some things to take into his home, so his hands were quite full as he was carrying some bags. “Do you mind getting the door? My keys are in my pocket.” Jeremy angled himself so that I could get to his pocket. I put my hand into his jeans pocket but there were no keys that I could feel.
“Uhm… darlin’, those aren’t my keys.” Jeremy awkwardly said with a slight chuckle, as he looked away. “Oh shit! Fuck, I am so sorry Jay!” A flush creeps across my cheeks, as I moved my hand out of his pocket as quickly as lightning, my ears turned red as she thought sweat was falling down my forehead. “It’s okay. They’re actually in my jacket pocket. The one closest to you.” Jeremy said with a chuckle and a smirk, as he watched me slowly putting my hand in the pocket of his suit jacket. I started to rummage my hand around it until I felt them, taking them out.
I took the bags out of his hand for him, as I wasn’t sure which way the key turned to unlock the door, so he did that whilst I waited for him to open the door. After he did, he smiled as a ‘thank you’, taking the bags out of my hands and letting me in first.
As he closed the door behind us, I watched him walk over to the kitchen and put the bags on the counter. He must’ve gone shopping earlier in the day. A lack of eye contact was definitely there for me, realising that he was walking back towards me.
“Please Simone, make yourself comfortable.” He gestured towards the couch in the room and I nodded slightly, slowly walking over towards it. As I sat down in the seat, Jeremy was simply leaning against the doorway with a smirk on his face, tilting his head like he was quite interested in me.
And I instantly knew he was DEFINITELY interested in me.
“So..?” I said with a nervous tick, a small smile grew on my face as I observed him walking over to me. Was he trying to change his posture and walk to fit the character he was dressed up as? Or was it normal? “You romantically like me then?” I asked him, to which he chuckled softly.
He then sat next to me, putting his arm around me. “Yeah, I do…” He then placed his other hand on my face, before leaning down and gently pressing his lips to mine. It made me gasp softly as our lips met, and I felt an electric charge jolt through my body. I was lost in the moment, consumed by the heat of his mouth on mine.
As we pulled away, we both shared a soft intake of breath; we looked at each other with a smile and all I could say to it was, “Wow” as I heard Jeremy chuckle softly.
“You liked that?” He asked me – my face was as red as a tomato – as I nodded slowly. I then gained the confidence to put my hands on the back of his neck, pulling his head closer towards mine. “Oh… you want another one, darlin’?” He asked me with a smile, innocently letting me take the lead on what was about to happen.
“Perhaps I want something more…” I decided to flirt with him, to which I noticed him raising an eyebrow with a smile on his face. “You sure about that?” Jeremy retorted back at me. “Jay, I’m only 22. I want you to be my first time, I’m sure of that.” I nodded at him, confessing that I hadn’t had my virginity taken from me yet, and Jeremy was going to be my first time. And he was quite surprised about that.
“Wait, y-you’re a virgin?” He asked me with a raised eyebrow. And all I did was nod nervously, biting my lip. “Simone, it’s okay. I’ll make sure your first time is… memorable.” He said to me with a smile, to which I retaliated back.
I felt his hand lifting up my chin, and his thumb rubbing my soft and delicate bottom lip. “Really?” “I’m definitely sure, Mona.” I heard him chuckle deeply.
I instantly blushed at the nickname as I felt him pull my body towards his, as close as he could, before kissing me again passionately. Of course, I kissed him back, feeling his hands on my waist and I moaned softly against his lips.

Name of fic: The Distance Pairing: John Doe x OFC (Violet) Plot summary: After joining Sweet Tooth’s gang, she stumbles across John Doe and Quiet, as they were on their way towards New Chicago. She couldn’t help but feel attracted towards the milkman with a funny sense of humour… Warnings: Strong language, violence. Author's note: This is in a 3rd person POV, but it does have their thoughts in this fic.
Chapter 1
John was helplessly pulled along by Sweet Tooth, as he offered the dark-haired woman a forced smile. He was nervous, more or less because he wasn’t sure just how long this would take. He would have to stay and watch the clown’s show, and then he could be free, right? That’s what he was hoping, as he was lead into a large dining room, with a big stage, a rack of clothes, and a makeshift bed made for the clown. John looked around, before looking towards Sweet Tooth.
“What, was the suite already booked?” He joked. It got a laugh out of Sweet Tooth, as he explained himself a bit, before he pointed out what used to be an old fish tank, long dried out, that went from the floor to the ceiling. Inside was none other than quiet, who pounded on the glass with her fists.
Making sure Sweet Tooth was busy, John ran up to the glass.
“Serves you right. Why should I help you anyways?” he stated, as the woman reached into her jacket pocket, and pulled out his keys. “Shit…” He cursed, before he looked towards the other woman who’d been stuck here with them. “We’ve got to convince him to let her out. Without those keys, I’m stuck here. We’re stuck here.” He told her softly, before a scream just down the hall was heard loudly ringing out. Shit, more people? It seemed Sweet Tooth was already alerted by the noise, but John sort of stopped him before he could move on.
“Hey, wait up man, can’t we let her go?” He asked, pointing to Quiet. “Wait! Hear me out, but wouldn’t you want more people to see your show? Well, why not have three…or more people clapping for you when the shows all over?” He reasoned, forcing a smile to the clown.
Violet just ignored the milkman, but little did John know is that she was actually listening to his words. She watched the intruders' conversation, as she acted as one of Sweet Tooth's guards. All that Violet could hear from Sweet Tooth, when John suggested to let Quiet go, was deep laughter from the clown.
"Stay with them, Dragonfly. Don't let them get into any trouble." The clown asked Violet, ignoring John’s suggestion completely, as she stood there in her leather jacket and boots, her Nirvana t-shirt was on show as her bow was strapped around her body. She nodded as it gave John the idea that she was working for the clown.
When she looked away for a moment, she started to blush, noticing how handsome John was. She then cleared her throat as she looked back at Quiet and John, taking a gulp of water from her metallic gold water bottle to hide the fact that her face was bright red.
As the clown came back, with blood on his mask, he thought for a moment before shaking his head. This made Violet realise this might be her chance of escaping his casino, so she cleared her throat making the others look at her. She then muttered to Sweet Tooth, "He is correct. You might want both of their feedback for your show." She tried to convince the clown.
“What?” Sweet Tooth and John said in unison. Both were surprised by Violet speaking up. John was more surprised because he didn’t even know she could talk up until that point. He blinked a few times, before nodding in agreement.
“Yeah, what she said. We’ll stay for your show.” He insisted, as he gave Quiet a look, as if saying she better play along. “Well…you do make a good point…and it’s not like we get a lot of women around to give feedback for that demographic…alright! Dragonfly, let her out!”
Sweet Tooth agreed, after a moment of thinking it over. John sighed with relief and looked towards Dragonfly. He’d owe her one for sure. For now though, he’d focus on the situation they were in.
“So, what about the other guys?” John questioned, catching the clown’s attention. “What other guys?” Sweet Tooth asked, sounding intrigued. “The ones that are back in the casino. Didn’t you hear their car pull in?” John questioned, before suddenly the clown grabbed his large machete, and faced Violet.
“Dragonfly. Keep an eye on these two. I’m going to get more people for the show.” He insisted, as he moved out of the room, promptly leaving the three together as John moved to help get Quiet out of the large fish tank.
“You know, you have one hell of a boss.” He commented towards Dragonfly as he shook his head, although he was entirely glad she was on their side. A pretty woman like that? Of course he would be glad to have her on their side.
As Violet nodded to the clown's instruction, she chuckled under her breath as she heard John's accusation, shaking her head. "He's not my boss. God, he's too crazy." She rolled her eyes as she watched John help Quiet out of the empty fish tank. "After he heard that I was a part of the Army, he forced me to join his gang." Violet explained softly to the two of them so that Sweet Tooth couldn't hear her.
“Part of the army- no way! A pretty woman like you?” John asked in surprise, as Quiet finally climbed out of the tank, equally as surprised as John, but said nothing. Not yet. She couldn’t just trust anyone just yet.
"WAS a part of the Army." Violet said to them, shaking her head.
She then adjusted the bow and quiver on her back and then put some gold-coloured lipstick on her lips, looking into her pocket mirror, realising that it was smudging slightly. She cursed softly, "Sh*t-" She muttered to herself as she put her mirror back inside of her jacket pocket.
The man smiled as he watched Dragonfly for a moment, before he cleared his throat. “So, you ready to get out of this place, I take it? I mean, you said it yourself, the guy’s too crazy.” He questioned, to which Violet just shrugged her shoulders. He figured she must be interested in taking him up on his offer, which was fine enough for him. Still, they’d have to wait for Sweet Tooth’s show, something that did bug him. He had a schedule he was on.
He had to pick up that package, and fast. He only had ten days, after all. He couldn’t afford to waste one of those whole days here in Vegas. The man was pretty intrigued by the killer clown wanting to do a show though.
John wondered what the hell kind of show Sweet Tooth would even do? “If you were with an army at some point…did you used to live in one of the cities?” He asked curiously as he looked towards Violet, before realising he was getting ahead of himself. He hadn’t introduced himself at all yet.
"I was a Staff Sergeant. And yes I'm going to escape this fucking place, but you can't tell Sweet Tooth." She replied to John's question, before explaining to him that she had no idea what Sweet Tooth's show was going to be.
When Violet said he couldn’t tell Sweet Tooth, the man gave a nod in agreement, and gave a signal that his lips were sealed. “No worries, I gotcha.” he told her in a hushed tone, just in case the clown came snooping around during the conversation.
She knew that she was going to be apart of this 'show' and entertaining Sweet Tooth with her singing. "Yes. I used to live in Boston, but then I moved to Austin, Texas." She answered John.
“Boston? You’re from up North?” He suddenly asked, rather surprised. He’d never been up north, everyone knew it was bad up there. Too many vultures, butchers, and Holy Men. In fact, there was probably far worse up that way than he liked to admit. Even though North was exactly where he was supposed to be heading. Yeah, he really still wasn’t too thrilled about that, but at least the job was definitely worth it.
“Shit, that’s right, you don’t know who I am! I’m John. Her? I have no idea who she is. She’s a mute, I’m pretty sure.” John introduced himself, before he pointed towards Quiet who promptly flipped him off and rolled her eyes, shaking her head.
“See? This is what I had to deal with out there…” He muttered, shaking his own head, clearly not thrilled with Quiet at all. The man eyed Dragonfly though, very interested in her. She was far too pretty to be stuck in a place like this, and she seemed interesting enough. He wanted to get to know her more.
"Nice to meet you John. I'm Violet. People just call me Dragonfly because of my necklace." Vi then showed him her dragonfly necklace around her neck before looking over at Quiet, nodding at her. She wanted to tell Quiet that she was just like her, quiet but badass.
Just then, she heard loud footsteps, knowing it was Sweet Tooth and she knew he wanted them to go to the stage. Violet sighed. "I think he wants us to get to the stage. Follow me." She said so sternly, wanting John and Quiet to follow her.
John was still intrigued with Violet though, and wanted to get to know her more. They didn’t have the time though, as she mentioned getting to the show room. “Oh, right! You think he got those other guys snooping around? The guy seems pretty thorough.” John questioned, as he followed Violet along, Quiet not far behind as they entered the show room only to find a blonde woman sitting there.
“Wow, okay…that accent is very Boston…you two wouldn’t happen to know each other, would you?” The man joked, as he looked towards the blonde, then towards Violet. He chuckled awkwardly afterwards, and took a seat at a table, looking around the room. Something really did smell good, and he hadn’t noticed it until just then. Was…Sweet Tooth actually giving them a show, and food?
Violet only rolled her eyes at John, mentally apologising for his behaviour at Juliet. "No." Is all that Violet said to John's question before nodding at the blonde and going backstage to get ready for Sweet Tooth's show. She wore a black dress and matching heels, her hair was up in a bun. She then heard the clown walk into the same room where they were.
“I take it the two of you got roped into this…any clue what the shows about, exactly?” The blonde woman – who was in the same room as John, Quiet and Violet was – asked the milkman.
John watched Violet as she walked off. Seriously, how could he not? His eyes lingered right up until Quiet nudged him harshly in the side, forcing his gaze back on her. “What?” he responded, before the blonde spoke up. “No clue, blondie. Hey, why exactly are you here yourself?” He questioned curiously. She had to be a milkman. Given how casually she was treating this, it was something a lot of them shared amongst each other. He supposed he was just so used to other milkmen at this point, he could just pick up on that sort of thing.
Before the ‘blondie’ could reply, the crazed clown came back into the room.
"Are you ready Dragonfly for the show?" The clown called out to Violet, to which she replied with, "Yeah I'm ready."
She then walked onto the stage as the intro to 'Supermassive Black Hole' by Muse started to play. She held the retro-looking microphone in her hands as she began to sing with such a sultry voice.
John didn’t have a long time to think about it really, let alone think about much else as the music started playing, and Violet got up on stage.
If John had been head over heels with the woman before, he was certainly head over heels in love with her now. Okay, maybe not ‘in love’, but was she drop dead gorgeous? Yes. Was her voice absolutely breath taking? Absolutely.
His eyes were glued to her as she sang, and his eyes never left her figure. Quiet, who was equally as impressed as the other two rose her eyebrows in awe, and gave a slight nod of approval. Really, the woman was amazing, and the three had the fortunate chance to see it. All three of them were beginning to think that this show wouldn’t be as bad as they were thinking it would be to begin with.
Violet went off stage and that was it for the first act. The other two was up to Sweet Tooth for the other acts, having no idea what his plan was going to be. She got dressed back to her original outfit, as she was intending to escape with that outfit and not with a dress on.
John watched Violet return and gave her a wide grin. “Wow, an army woman and a great singer? You’re really something else.” he complimented.
Vi tried so hard not to blush in front of him as he complimented her. Just then, she felt Sweet Tooth pull her by her arm, to which she did not like and the others could tell she didn't.
John wanted to say more, but before he could, Sweet Tooth went pulling her along, and John didn’t like that one bit. In fact, it made him shift in his seat, as if stopping himself from getting up immediately and starting a fight with the guy. He already knew from experience that would be a bad idea though, so instead, sat still. He wasn’t sure just how honest Sweet Tooth had been about letting the two of them go after the show. Especially now that more people had miraculously shown up.
"Dragonfly, my little girl… I would like for you to entertain our guests again with a little show, if you know what I mean." She cringed, knowing exactly what the clown was on about.
But she saw the confusion on the others' faces as she sighed, going backstage yet again to get ready for the second act.
Then again, the crazed clown had actually been kind of nice to him after their little fight, so who knows. John looked over towards Quiet, who casted a glance towards him. “I know, I know…we’ll get out of this as soon as we can…” He promised the girl. She just glared at him, and turned her gaze towards the stage.
John wasn’t leaving Violet though. He couldn’t now. There was no way in hell he would let her stay back here and suffer in this place. He could tell she wanted to leave, and so, he’d help her. He was determined now more than ever to do so.
After 2 more acts of Violet wearing outfits that were too revealing, and singing 'Sexyback' by Justin Timberlake and 'Old Town Road' by Lil Nas X, she was exhausted as hell from the 3 performances. John couldn’t keep his eyes off of Violet, as she came out and sang in the revealing outfits.
His eyes lingered over her body, and whenever it was a bit too long, Quiet would nudge him. Quiet on the other hand had realised that the blonde was busy freeing herself when the clown wasn’t looking. It seemed everyone was focused on escaping. Well, everyone except for John who was more focused on Violet on stage. It seemed like he’d long forgotten about what they been discussing before this show.
She looked at Sweet Tooth, who was cheering and applauding it.
"Sooo… what did you guys think?" The clown asked John, Juliet and Quiet, tilting his head with curiosity as he leaned his baseball bat against his beefy-looking shoulder. Violet wasn't sure how he was going to react with either a compliment or a criticism about her show, so she just stood there nervously.
Once the show was over, it took John a moment to remember where he actually was. What they were doing here.
Oh shit. That’s right. “Y-yeah! It was great!” John agreed with the blonde, although was surprised at the clown’s violent reaction. That wasn’t what he’d wanted to hear? The man looked towards Violet and wasn’t sure what to say. “I’m serious! She was amazing!!” He quickly said.
The clown got annoyed at John's compliment, the grip on his baseball bat got tighter. He didn't want them to compliment the performance at all. He wanted to them to be brutally honest about the whole thing, and he would keep his promise of letting them go.
Quiet then spoke up. “It was fine. She has a great voice and all, but you’ve got to change up a show when you’re entertaining people.” She said, suddenly making everyone go silent. “What?” John asked, surprised the woman could even talk. “Well, not everyone likes music right? Maybe you could’ve…done some skits between the music.” Quiet added, causing the clown to stop and think, seemingly debating the woman’s idea.
When he heard Quiet's criticism, the smirk on his face grew at the fact that the woman could actually speak. He laughed out loud before saying to them, "Okay, okay! I'll let you go now. Go on." He then went to uncuff Juliet from her chair, not noticing that she tried to get out of it.
John was relieved when Sweet Tooth seemingly just accepted Quiet’s criticism and stood up, ready to leave. But as she saw John trying to get Violet to go with them, he stopped them in their tracks. "Not her. She stays."
Violet looked down to see Sweet Tooth's hand gripping her arm, not letting her go with them. She was speechless as she looked over at John with a pleading look in her eyes. She couldn't take down the clown on her own, even with her judo and karate training but she was getting angry with him touching her arms.
"What? But you said-" She tried to explain to Sweet Tooth of their deal, but he interrupted her yet again by laughing in her face. "NO! That was not part of our deal, Dragonfly. You still stay, remember?" He suddenly shouted at her, as she felt his grip getting tighter.
John froze in place as the clown stopped Violet from leaving. He turned to look at the clown, and shook his head. “Come on, man. Just let the lady go, she doesn’t want to stay here anymore.” He said, knowing fully well it wouldn’t convince the clown. He gave Quiet a look, and the woman seemed reluctant, but ready to help. They’d need to team up, he supposed, especially if they wanted to get out of here in one piece, altogether.
“Well, if she ain’t leaving, then we’ll just have to bust her out.” John said, as he threw a well placed punch at the clown, but it hardly made the man budge. The man’s eyes widened in horror. Shit. He forgot the guy was a damn good fighter. Quiet shoved John out of the way, just in time to avoid the machete to the face. Instead, the machete got lodged in the floor. “Shit!” He shouted, as he looked around the room. The blonde was gone, and it seemed like it was only he, Quiet, and Violet for now.
As Sweet Tooth let her go after going after John tried to punch him, she managed to avoid the situation as she grabbed her bow and quiver. She notched a cool trick arrow onto the bow and aimed it at the clown, whilst climbed on a table. She then shouted at him, "Hey dumbass!" She said in Spanish, which made the clown turn around towards her. "This is for making me stay here!"
She then let go of the arrow and as soon as it hit Sweet Tooth's mask, it let out some kind of gas that would knock out a person, including some crazed clown.
John watched as Violet’s trick arrow hit Sweet Tooth, and knocked him out. Relief washed over him instantly, and ran after her as soon as she shouted for them to do so. “You are the most bad-ass woman I know!!” John shouted with a chuckle as he and Quiet made it to Evelin, his own car.
Quiet tossed him the keys, and John started up the car, glancing towards Violet. He wasn’t about to lose her, not when he was just getting to know her. Besides, without her, Quiet and himself would’ve been stuck there themselves. They might even have been dead already without her.
She got down from the table and rushed over towards John and Quiet. "Let's go! What are you guys waiting for?" She said to them as she managed to get out of the casino and to her motorbike Archangel.
“Hey, Violet!” John shouted. “Stay close, we don’t need to lose you when we just got you out of here!” He added, before he heard Violet call back at him.
"Already ahead of you, John!" Violet rode Archangel, her motorbike towards John and Quiet in his car, Evelin and stopped it to look at the two of them. She had to admit though that John did look handsome whilst he was driving his car. But she was nervous that Quiet was going to steal John away from her. But he wasn't hers. He will never be hers, right?
They all quickly pulled out of the casino, and started driving in the direction John had been driving in beforehand, eyes glancing over to the mirror to make sure that she wasn’t far behind. With that, he sped off out of Vegas, glad to leave the city behind. He never wanted to see a clown ever again. At least, not for awhile.
"We should get a motel. It is getting late." Violet suggested to the two of them, knowing that there was a motel between Vegas and the checkpoint. As she followed John and Quiet out of Vegas, she realised that there was a checkpoint a few miles ahead of their journey. She didn't know where they were going to, but after that whole time with Sweet Tooth, she was willing to follow them.
John felt pretty damn good after that. Mostly because now he had a pretty woman to look forward to talking with. Chances were, she’d be a lot of help on his journey to ‘New Chicago’. He just needed to get that package, and bring it back to Raven. It definitely sounded easier than it was. Who knew what would await them up North. If it were anything like that deranged clown, he really wasn’t sure how they’d manage. They would though. They’d have to.
Hearing Violet’s voice, John looked over towards her, and gave a nod. “Yeah! I know a place, just follow me!” He called back, as he sped ahead, but not too fast. With it getting darker out, they ran the risk of running into vultures, butchers, and even Holy Men, if they were even more unlucky. It wasn’t much longer of a drive, and John stopped at an abandoned hotel. It gave them ample opportunity to relax and at least figure out where to go from here. Especially since Quiet was an… unwanted guest in his vehicle he was only reluctantly allowing to tag along.

Nov. 8th 2022
Today is the day I make a comeback and confess a few things.
I apologise to all of my followers but my real name is not Natasha. My actual name is Heather. Natasha was a pseudonym, which was named after a Marvel character. I have been writing in secret because I was ashamed of writing fanfiction in front of my parents.
But now they are no longer with us, I have decided after a year of absence, I will be myself. However, everything on my Tumblr page was all real and made by me.
Me being a coloured bisexual woman with social anxiety has made me hesitant to come out, but now I am brave enough to face the shame of having a fake name to write what I am passionate about.
So, it’s time to start anew and write some more stuff.
Again, I apologise for everything and I hope you can forgive me.

Name of fic: Sacrifice
Pairing: Mike McLusky x OMC (Jacob)
Plot summary: Jacob Stevens used to work for Milo Sunter and was known as the Winter Soldier. When Mike finds him on a farm to help him capture Milo. When he agrees to it, he finds Iris who he used to guard her when she was working. Throughout this stressful situation, Jacob develops feelings for Mike. What will happen when Milo meets Jacob again?
Faceclaim for Jacob: Pedro Pascal
Word count: 4.5k
Warnings: Strong language, sexual content, smut, potential spoilers for Mayor of Kingstown season 2, trigger warnings for just about everything…
Author’s note: The title of this fic is inspired by the song Sacrifice by The Weeknd. I just watched the first 2 episodes and they are SO good! Can’t wait for the rest of them. I feel like Mike is at least bisexual and his relationship with Iris is NOT going to turn out romantic at all. Mike and Evelyn however? They will do. Anyways I had Mike get with a male OC, so I hope you will enjoy this fic!
Kingstown was a small town, but with a high crime rate. Everybody wanted to get out, but had a hard time doing that. Was it because they were scared?
That’s what Jacob thought.
He was currently on the outskirts of Kingstown, where he was on a farm. He loved horseback riding, so whenever he had the chance, he would escape the town and do what he loved. Even though, drawing and painting was also what he loved, it was his job.
And he needed to escape that too.
He was putting away his favourite horse, Buttercup –which is what he called it– until he heard the sound of a car pulling up on the muddy path. He didn’t recognise the model of the car or the number plate on it either.
“What the-?” He mumbled to himself as he closed the stable door behind him.
His dark brown eyes stared at the guy, who was getting out of the drivers seat. The man was wearing a navy-coloured suit with dark sunglasses. He had dark brown hair that was quite short. Jacob didn’t see the colour of his eyes.
“Can I help you?” He called out to the man as he slowly walked over to him.
“Yes… are you Jacob Stevens?” The man replied.
“Perhaps. Who’s asking?”
The person then took off his sunglasses and put them in his pocket.
His eyes were grey, he just realised.
“The name’s Mike McLusky. I help keep the peace in this town.” The guy – who he now knew was named Mike – said to him, putting his hands in his pockets. “I heard you used to work with Milo Sunter?”
“Yeah… what is it to you?” He muttered.
Mike sighed as he put his hands in his trouser pockets.
“Look. There is chaos inside and outside of the prison. Of course I don’t blame the gangs for what is happening-” Mike started to explain.
Jacob raised an eyebrow at him.
“Okay that’s false, but I do need your help.” Mike finished his explanation.
“If it’s to do with Milo, count me out. I’m not dealing with that fuckin’ bastard.” Jacob exhaled. Milo was a dick, he would say to himself every single day of working with him. It felt like he was working for him and not working with him.
“I know about your father, Brody. He’s currently in the male prison at the moment-” Jacob interrupted him.
“-not for much longer if the guards decide to torture everyone in there for fuck all.”
Mike hesitated his words as he looked at his surroundings, licking his lips. Jacob’s eyes following the movement of Mike’s tongue. He was proudly gay, even though when he was younger, his father hated him revealing his sexuality. He would always say to his son,
“You are never going to live in this town, with people thinking that you are gay. Bad people are going to attack you, physically, emotionally and mentally! You. Are. Going. To. Die. Here.”
But now that he had grown up, he didn’t really care what everyone was thinking about him. He had the right skills, as an ex-assassin, to handle anyone that gets in his way. And was this Mike guy making him fall in love with him?
He wasn’t sure yet.
“Okay, fuck. Look, I’ll cut you a deal.” Mike sighed.
“What deal?” Jacob crossed his arms as he looked at him.
“I’ll get the guards to stop all this shit. I have this plan in my head involving the leaders. That way I can protect your father in prison. In exchange, you can help me with Milo.” Mike explained.
All that Jacob could do was laugh. He shook his head as he noticed Mike raising his eyebrows at him.
“You really think I give a shit about my father after everything he has done to my life?” Jacob retorted, gesturing with his hands. He then took a flask out of his jacket pocket and twisting the lid off of it, sipping it. Inside of the flask was whiskey.
It was his guilty alcoholic drink. It was only 12 in the afternoon so he was technically allowed to drink.
“He was a disgrace of a father. I don’t care if he fucking gets murdered in that shithole.”
“What was he in for exactly?” Mike asked him.
Jacob chuckled silently. It was ironic how and why his father was in prison.
“You won’t believe it…” He smirked to himself.
“Try me.”
“...sexual assault of a minor. And the minor was a 13 year old boy.”
Jacob saw Mike’s eyes open wide as he exhaled with the information that Jacob just gave him.
“Shit. Wow.” Is all that Mike could say as he licked his lips again. Jacob’s eyes was again following the movement of Mike’s tongue yet again. He couldn’t help it. “Is there… anything else I can do then?” Mike asked him.
Jacob hesitated for a moment.
If Mike’s idea was to put Milo away for good, maybe he could help him. All Jacob saw was Mike sighing and walking away. This was the only opportunity to take revenge on the second man who ruined his life.
“Wait!” He called out to Mike. He then saw Mike turn back around and just stand in his new spot.
“What?” Mike replied, sighing.
“I’ll help you, okay?”
Mike just chuckled and shook his head. “Okay then.” He then walked back towards Jacob and took out a business card. His assistant probably made them to gain more customers. Mike exhaled quickly as Jacob just stared at him.
“My… business card. So you know where my office is.” Mike cleared his throat.
“Mh-hm.” Jacob hummed as he took the card out of Mike’s left hand. “Got it.”
✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧
Jacob arrived at Mike’s new office on his motorbike. He put it on standby as he stopped the engine and climbed off of the vehicle. He then walked through the front door and his eyes were on the woman behind a desk. She had black hair and unmistakably round eyes.
“Hi? Are you here for an appointment with Mike?” She asked him.
Jacob exhaled, putting his hands on his hips.
“Uh– I don’t really have an appointment with him…” Jacob was about to explain until Mike came out of his office.
“Rebecca, it’s fine. He’s helping me with the Milo situation.” Mike acknowledged, nodding at Jacob.
“Uh, okay that’s fine. Well Mike, you’re done for the day.” Rebecca said to him.
Mike just nodded.
“Don’t worry, I’ll lock up the office when I’m done.” Mike reassured her. “Go. I’ll take care of this okay?”
Rebecca just nodded as she gathered up her things and headed for the door. That left Mike and Jacob alone in the waiting room. Jacob then watched as Mike wandered to his office and he couldn’t stop staring at his ass as Mike walked away.
He had to admit that Mike did have a great ass.
Jacob eventually got out of his daydream and slowly followed Mike to his office. Just then, out of the corner of his eye, he then saw the very woman he was not expecting to see.
“Iris? What the fuck are you doing here?” Jacob exclaimed.
Iris’s eyes widen as she got up from Mike’s sofa and stood there, frozen as hell. She couldn’t believe who was in the same room as her.
“Jacob?” Is all that she could say.
Mike was standing on the other side of the office, confused as to the situation that was happening in front of him.
“How do you know each other?” Mike asked the both of them.
“Milo.” Both Iris and Jacob said together; Iris in her Southern accent and Jacob in his Spanish accent.
Mike sighed. “Of course it’s Milo.”
“How-how have you been?” Jacob asked Iris.
“I should ask you the same thing.” Iris retorted. “How have you escaped him?” She asked him.
“I haven’t. He still thinks I’m with that Joseph bastard and protecting you. But of course, what he doesn’t know, is that I haven’t seen you since you went to New York.” He said to Iris.
Iris just nodded.
“You were her… bodyguard?” Mike asked Jacob.
“I guess you can say that.” He shrugged.
Mike went over to the coffee jug and poured himself a cup of coffee. He then sipped it and went over to his desk, sitting at it.
“Okay then. Iris, I would suggest going somewhere safe. Me and Jacob will handle this. I have a plan.” He would say, but of course Iris would defend herself.
“I don’t need protection Mike. Don’t take me to Witness Protection again!” Iris said to Mike.
“Iris… you remember my brother Jonathan?” Jacob would chime into the ‘argument’ as he saw Mike sigh, putting his head in his hands.
“Hmm… yeah I do. Why?”
“If you want, you can go visit him. Milo doesn’t know him, I’m assuming Mike took the tracker out of you, right?” Jacob asked her, to which Iris nodded.
Mike’s head perked up from his hands, quite interested in Iris and Jacob’s conversation.
“Are you sure? I don’t want to be a bother-”
“Iris. Milo is a dickhead, you know that. You will be safe with Jonathan, okay? And don’t get any ideas of escaping.” Jacob told her.
“...okay.” Iris mumbled under her breath.
✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧
After Jacob sent Iris to his brother’s Jonathan’s house, which was on the outskirts of Kingstown, Jacob and Mike were standing nearby Mike’s car and Jacob’s motorbike. They were both parked in the car park, just outside of Mike’s office.
“So what should we do first?” Jacob asked him.
“Well, I gotta go and see Bunny and tell him the plan.” Mike said to Jacob.
“Bunny? You mean the leader of the Crips? What is your idea exactly?” Jacob crossed his arms and leaned against his motorbike, his helmet on the handlebars.
“I’m putting every single gang leader in the Kingstown prison. The chaos outside the place is influenced by the chaos inside of the place. They need to regroup and pick new leaders.”
“Are you fucking insane? What the hell are you trying to do here? What if they all get killed in there?” Jacob shouted at him.
“Do you have a better idea?” Mike retorted.
Jacob sighed as he put his hands on his hips, shaking his head.
“I guess not, but-”
“Okay good. It’s getting late. We should… stay in the same place tonight so we can talk about how we’re going to do this in the morning.” Mike suggested. “If you keep your motorbike here, you can carpool with me to Bunny’s place and then to the cabin.”
“Are you sure it’s safe here?” Jacob said.
“Yeah don’t worry.”
Jacob just nodded as he walked up to Mike’s car. They both jumped into his car; Jacob in the front passenger seat and Mike in the drivers seat, and they both drove to Bunny’s new territory.
They both got out of the car and they walked toward the abandoned dry cleaners. Mike then knocked on the garage door and one of Bunny’s gang members let them both through, much to Mike’s surprise.
They got up to the rooftop and saw Bunny sitting on the edge of the balanced roof.
“Bunny.” Mike called out to him. The guy got up and nodded at Mike. He then saw Jacob and was surprised at seeing him. He hasn’t seen him since he asked Jacob for a self-portrait of himself.
“Mike. Jacob.” Bunny faltered on his words.
“Hey Bunny. Haven’t seen you for a while.”
Bunny went over to Jacob and pulling him into a handshake, then giving him a hug.
“You too. So Mike, what are you doing here man?” Bunny asked Mike.
“I have an idea. It’s a bold move, but it’s the only idea that might work.” Mike explained to Bunny.
Bunny crossed his arms as Mike explained to him the idea that he said to Jacob. Jacob just stood there as Mike finished explaining his idea and then Bunny getting a bit agitated at it.
“Mike. What are you trying to fucking do to me, man?” Bunny snapped at him, nearly pressing a finger against Mike’s chest.
“I’m giving Kingstown a chance Bunny! There is people getting killed every single minute and I don’t want this to happen any more!” Mike shouted back at Bunny.
“And you think putting me in a fucking prison is going to do anything?”
“If there are new leaders inside of the prison, there’s gonna be peace outside. The prisoners won’t be killed every single day by the guards. And I won’t stand by that. Do you have any other idea other than that?” Mike asked him, still a bit taken aback from Bunny’s reaction.
Jacob decided to intervene and placed both hands on Mike’s shoulders. “Mike, just calm down. Let him take this idea into his head for a moment.”
Mike just sighed, slowly calming down and sighing.
“Bunny. I was against this idea as well. I don’t want you to get killed in there. But Mike might be right. This is might be the only chance of bringing peace here in this shitty little town.” Jacob calmly explained to Bunny.
Bunny considered Jacob’s words and sighed slowly.
“Fine. But if I’m in the shit, you’re done for.” Bunny pointed at Mike as Mike walked away, opening the rooftop door and making his way downstairs.
“Yeah, yeah…” Mike trailed off as he walked off. “I’ll send you details okay?”
“Fuck you Mike!”
Jacob just nodded as he followed Mike.
✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧
Once back in the car, Mike’s hands were on the steering wheel. Jacob was looking out of the window at the beautiful scenery outside. Of course, just like the farm, Mike’s cabin was on the outskirts of the town.
So before they came up to the steep hill, Mike sent some messages to Bunny and the police department about the idea he had.
“Why are you texting them back now? Why don’t you wait until you get to your cabin?” Jacob asked him.
“You’ll see.”
Mike just smirked at Jacob as the car went up the hill. Mike pointed at his phone, nodding at it. Jacob’s brown eyes as he looked over at Mike’s phone.
“Keep an eye on the signal.” Mike simply said.
Just then, the signal went from full bars to none. There was no signal whatsoever.
Jacob began to chuckle under his breath. “No signal huh?”
“Nope. Won’t get any messages until we go over the hill again, back into Kingstown. So we can get some peace and quiet.”
“Finally some fucking peace and quiet from the chaos in this town…” Jacob mumbled.
“Agreed.” Mike finally chuckled softly as he turned the corner to the dirt path, leading to his cabin. “Definitely fucking agree with you there.”
As they arrived at the cabin, they had a few moments to settle down. Mike asked Jacob to go out and get some firewood. Jacob did just that and came back to see Mike, smoking on the deck outside of his cabin. He was still in his suit and was leaning against a wooden pillar. He also had a glass of something liquid in his other hand.
Jacob was wearing a lumberjack top –which was red, green, white and black colours in a tartan pattern – with tight denim jeans, thick winter boots and gloves that he wore to chop down wood. His sleeves were rolled up as he was carrying at least 4-5 big logs in his arms. Once he got to Mike, he placed the logs down on the ground and sighed, wiping his head from the sweat.
He noticed Mike was staring at him and he thought to himself, ‘Was he checking me out or…?’ Nah. Why would this handsome 50-something year old man fall for a 32 year old man who used to be a silent but deadly assassin for Milo Sunter and now is a freelance artist, who is willing to forget about that experience?
“Jacob. Can I ask something?” Mike said as he sat down on the nearby chair.
“Yeah sure.”
“What were you doing when you were working for him?” Mike asked him, Jacob knowing he was on about Milo.
He just sighed as he dropped down to sit next to Mike, on the deck.
“I was an assassin. Killing people for him. The silent but deadly type. I specialised in firearms and hand-to-hand combat. I was also known as the Winter Soldier, cause of my amazing talent of fighting.” Jacob began to explain. “My main duty was protect Iris. But once she went to New York, I decided to not to follow her. I stayed here, not letting Milo know where I was, hiding out in the farm you met me in.”
“Did he put a tracker in you?” Mike asked him.
“No. He trusted me enough not to do that. So he didn’t have no idea that I was still in Kingstown… wish I could leave this place, but- I feel like I can’t.”
“Why can’t you?”
“I feel like I’m trapped here…” Jacob trailed off before looking up at Mike. “What about you? Are you stuck here?”
Mike just shook his head.
“I guess so? I was going to do a cooking class in Wyoming until all hell broke loose. My mother isn’t very proud of me. I had to take over my brother’s job after he got shot by one of Milo’s thugs.”
“I heard. I’m sorry for your loss. Milo shouldn’t have done that.” Jacob said sadly, looking down at his hands, that were fidgeting with each other.
“It’s okay, it wasn’t your fault.”
Jacob then also shook his head.
“No, no. Mitch shouldn’t have been killed by that fucking bastard. If I was there, I would’ve killed that guy who killed your brother. I would’ve been in that prison for life for that, but I wouldn’t have cared-” Jacob explained to Mike.
“-and I wouldn’t have let you.”
Jacob was surprised at Mike’s words. “What?”
“I wouldn’t have let you. Don’t think Mitch would’ve let you either.” Mike admitted to him. “I was… upset that he got shot, but this would’ve happen either way.”
Jacob just nodded.
✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧
A few moments later, they were both in the cabin. Mike was sitting on the bed whilst Jacob was in the bathroom, standing in the shower. Mike took off his suit jacket, tie and white tight Oxford shirt, leaving a loose white tee. He also took off his shoes as well.
Mike then got up and leaned against the doorway between the bathroom and the bedroom, of course he wasn’t looking at Jacob’s naked form.
“You okay?” Jacob heard Mike’s deep voice as he scrubbed himself with a loofah and some mint body wash.
“Yeah. It’s been a while since I’ve had a shower. I normally have baths back at my place.” Jacob acknowledged.
Mike just hummed. “Do you want any tea?” He asked him.
“Sure.”
Mike nodded, even though Jacob couldn’t see it, and went into the kitchen to make some cinnamon tea for the both of them. Afterwards, he grabbed both cups and paused as soon as he got to the bathroom. He then cleared his throat to try and get Jacob’s attention.
“I got your tea. You decent?” Mike asked him.
“It’s fine Mike. It’s nothing you haven’t seen before, right?” Jacob chuckled softly. “You can come in.”
Jacob watched as Mike slowly walked into the bathroom and placed down Jacob’s cup of tea on a nearby counter. He kept his own cup in his own hands as he sipped it gently before placing it down next to Jacob’s.
Mike realised that he could see all of Jacob’s naked body and visibly gulped at the thought of what he could do with that body.
“Thanks.” Jacob slightly smiled at Mike. “Is that… cinnamon?”
“Mh-hm. You like cinnamon?”
“I love it.”
Mike smiled at Jacob before sitting on the toilet seat, which was directly opposite the shower.
“Am I sleeping on the couch or..?” Jacob finally said after a moment.
“If you want. We’re both grown men. We can share the same bed without it getting awkward.” Mike responded.
Jacob just stared at him, slightly smirking and tried to splash Mike with the water.
Mike didn’t get splashed with any water but chuckled at the failed attempt.
“You don’t want to start that darling, seriously.” He beamed at Jacob. “I just suggested that, that’s all.”
Jacob slightly blushed at the nickname that Mike had given him, especially in his American accent. “And I asked if I should sleep on the couch cause I don’t think I can contain myself in that king-sized bed of yours.”
The light-haired man noticed the dark-haired man staring at him. Was it lust in those blue-grey eyes? Jacob didn’t know, but he did watch Mike get up from his seat and walk over to him. He then went in the shower, standing underneath the shower head, getting his hair, shirt and trousers wet.
“Of course… unless you want to make it awkward- that was a bad pickup line, I’m sorry.” Mike laughed, closing his eyes and shaking his head. He wasn’t really expecting Jacob to laugh as well.
Mike then felt a hand on his face. His face was slightly bruised after the last conflict he had. Apparently, it was still kinda there. He slowly opened his eyes and saw Jacob’s hand on his left cheek. His thumb was caressing the place where his bruise was.
“That was awkward, but… you tried your best I guess.” Jacob chuckled. “Where’s this bruise from?” He then asked him softly as his Spanish accent was as clear as day.
“You heard about the riot in the prison that happened recently, right?” Mike told him.
“Of course.”
“I guess it was from that. Or… I don’t know. Don’t know where it’s from, to be honest.” Mike shrugged his shoulders. “It just stayed there.”
Jacob slightly smiled as he kept caressing his bruised cheek as his brown eyes stared into Mike’s blue-grey ones.
“I don’t know how you’re gonna react with what I’m going to do here, but hopefully you’re not gonna punch me or anything like that.”
Mike raised his eyebrow confusingly as he looked at Jacob.
Jacob took a deep breath before deciding to move closer towards Mike, placing his other hand on his other cheek. It looked like Mike wasn’t moving away anytime soon, so Jacob then went for it. His lips brushed Mike’s; softly, delicately, like butterfly wings, just long enough that he could inhale Mike’s breath.
It felt like Mike enjoyed it. He had kissed men before, or he kissed women like this before.
Of course Jacob wasn’t expecting Mike’s lips mashing against his, as if he was trying to flatten and destroy it. Jacob hungrily pushed back, his mouth open. The bristles of Jacob’s goatee scratched against Mike’s soft cheeks. Mike gripped his head firmly, as if to keep him from escaping. He worked Jacob’s mouth against his, their tongues battling back and forth like wrestlers, each trying to pin the other.
They both pulled away, breathing heavily as they looked at each other.
“I-I didn’t know that you were…” Jacob hesitantly said to Mike.
“Well, you never ask, did you?” Mike smirked at him.
“I guess so.”
Jacob chuckled. He felt Mike’s hands still on his face. He blushed as he also felt his thumb on his bottom lip, stroking it softly.
“Does this mean-?” Jacob murmured to himself.
Mike only hesitated a second before taking off his trousers and boxers. He didn’t even bother to take off his short-sleeved t-shirt. He then went closer to Jacob, feeling his erection and pressing their lips together.
Jacob found the hem of Mike’s shirt and clumsily pulled off his shirt, and somehow it came off.
Mike’s skin was extra sensitive everywhere; he felt everything. The smooth texture of the warm water against his back. The pressure of Jacob’s hand on his knee as he pushed his legs open, Jacob’s breath on his neck before he kissed him there, tonguing and sucking gently.
Mike moaned and pushed Jacob against the shower wall, trying to brush their cocks together. “Fuck sweetheart...” He muttered under his breath. “You should know who’s the dominant one in this relationship.” Mike told him.
That made Jacob froze for a moment.
Relationship? Mike thought they were in a relationship with each other?
He wouldn’t expect Mike to turn things around and flip Jacob onto his front. Mike took Jacob’s wrists and pinned them above his head. “Keep them there darling, okay?” He whispered in Jacob’s ear as he placed the tip against Jacob’s hole. When it breached him, Jacob let out a gasp of pain.
“Jacob, sweetheart, you okay?” Mike asked him.
“Mhm. It’s okay. Keep going.” He shuddered.
Mike began slowly pushing himself inside. His hand gripped Jacob’s hips as his cock went deeper. Sensing Jacob’s tension, he began to remove himself just as gently.
“Don’t worry darling, I just want you to enjoy this.”
“Maybe I do, but I don’t mind you being dominant.”
Mike smirked as he slowly rocked in and out of him. He heard Jacob’s moans turning into screams of pleasure, causing him to speed up. He felt Mike’s balls hit his ass with every deep thrust he delivered. He then began to kiss Jacob’s neck, putting his dominant left hand on Jacob’s wrists.
“Mike!” Jacob called out.
“That’s not my name sweetheart. What’s my name?” Mike said to him.
“S-sir…”
“That’s better sweetheart. There it is!”
Mike heard Jacob shakily gasp behind him. He continued thrusting, making sure to hit that one spot. Jacob’s skin prickled as his head began fuzzing out. He felt a hand wrap itself around his dick. The arm around his throat tightened until Jacob was gasping.
“Sir,” The arm around his throat moved to push him all the way down his dick as both hands gripped his hips. Mike’s rough thrusts became more erratic.
“Sweetheart!”
Jacob felt the warmth of Mike’s cum spill inside him.
“Fuck…” Jacob sighed as he felt Mike’s dick leave him. He heard his breathing as he turned around to look at Mike. “I was- not expecting that so soon.”
“You liked it though, right?” Mike smirked.
Jacob just laughed. “I guess you can say that. But my legs are killing me…”
“From the sex or from standing up in the shower the whole time?”
Jacob didn’t answer that question as he got out of the shower, slapping Mike’s ass on the way. All he said was “yeah” to him, making Mike smile to himself and chuckling softly as he turned off the shower and got out, closing the glass door behind him.
He looked over at Jacob, who was in his bedroom, putting one of Mike’s shirts on. It was quite tight, but it didn’t cover Jacob’s dick. Mike’s own dick twitched at the sight of him in his shirt, basically naked.
“Fuck sweetheart, you’re doing things to me you cannot believe.” Mike mumbled, to which Jacob actually heard and smirked a little.
Jacob then sat on the bed, leaning back slightly on his hands. His legs were wide open and he smiled at Mike. “What are you waiting for? I don’t mind doing a round two, Mr McLusky.”

“Stop looking at me like that or my knees will not hold me any longer.”
“Reality is even better than my dreams.”
“You don’t know half of the things you do to me.”

Author’s note: Before you ask, yes, the OC is based on myself. And no, I have never been to Canada 😢 There will be a smutty part 2 don't worry 😉
Heather’s POV
After I ordered my green tea and of course, paid for it, I backed away from the counter to wait for it. I then bumped into someone.
“Oh my God, I am so sorry!” The person exclaimed. They had a cup of coffee in their hands. Which was spilt all over my shirt.
“Oh fuck.” I would curse and sigh. “Great. This is my favourite shirt as well.”
“I am so sorry!”
I would then look up from my stained shirt to see who exactly I bumped into.
And I couldn’t believe who it was.
“Holy shit! You’re Jeremy Renner!” I blurted out suddenly. “Oops. I said that out loud.”
Jeremy just chuckled as he was in a suit and tie. He was probably filming for the second season of Mayor of Kingstown.
“I’m guessing you’re a fan. And again, I’m so sorry for all of this.” He asked me.
“Yeah… Look, it's my fault. I wasn’t looking where I was going –” I was about to say until Jeremy stopped me.
“No. It’s okay. Look, I’ll pay for your dry cleaning.” He uttered to me.
“Definitely not. I am not letting you pay for my dry cleaning. I’ll wash it when I get back to London.”
Jeremy was shocked. You were from England? But you didn’t have a British accent at all.
“You’re from London?” He speculated.
“Yep. I know, you’re probably wondering where my British accent is. I guess I wasn’t born with one.” I shrugged my shoulders. “What, you think British accents are sexy?”
“Well, kind of. To be honest, I feel like your accent is quite sexy.” He smirked.
I blushed at that compliment. I wasn’t expecting Jeremy motherfucking Renner to compliment me today. Not even meet him in a coffee shop in Toronto.
“You’re just saying that..” I started to stutter.
“No… I mean it. Your voice is cute and sexy. May we sit together perhaps?”
“I-I would love to!”
I smiled at him as I took my green tea and another mysterious cup towards a secluded area of the cafe. The tables were full, so we had to stand. Jeremy then stood opposite me. I gave him the cup as he raised an eyebrow at me.
“There you go. I’m guessing that it was a straight black coffee that you ordered. So, I brought you one. Out of compensation.” I smiled at him.
“You didn’t have to do that. I could’ve paid for it myself.” Jeremy replied.
“Well, too bad.”
We both laughed.
“Anyways, I was not expecting to bump into you on my vacation.” I explained. “I can cross that off my bucket list.”
“I was on your bucket list?”
“Yeah! Meeting someone you can only dream of meeting. Which was you.” I added.
“Aw.. that’s so nice! Well, I’m glad to cross off one thing off your bucket list.” Jeremy chuckled to himself.
He just kept staring at me. His blue-green eyes staring into my chocolate brown ones.
“Stop looking at me like that or my knees will not hold me any longer.” I said quietly, which I hoped he didn’t hear me.
But he did.
“Stop looking at you like what?” Jeremy replied, smirking at me. He stared at me with that look in his eyes. The look of lust and desire.
“Like that!” I exclaimed, gesturing at him, my tea in one hand.
“I’m clearly not staring at you like I’m in love with you or something.” Jeremy said.
He was definitely staring at me. We JUST met!
“Anyways, you.. erm.. want to hang out tonight, if you’re not busy? We can go for dinner or karaoke?” Jeremy suggested.
“Yeah! I would love to! I’ll give you the hotel and the room I’m in. You can come and knock on my door.” I picked up a napkin and got a pen out of my bag. I wrote down where I was staying, as well as my phone number.
I then gave the napkin to Jeremy.
“There you go. You can pick me up at 7:30pm and you can pick what we do. Oh! I didn’t introduce myself! I’m Heather.” I smiled at him.
“I will. And it’s a pleasure to meet you Heather.” He replied.
Before I left, he leaned in and kissed my cheek, hugging me close as well.
“See you at 7:30.” He said to me, waving me off. I waved back as I walked out of the coffee shop.
Did I just get a date with Jeremy Renner?!
7:29pm.
I was rushing to get my hair and makeup done before Jeremy came to pick me up. I was wearing a light blue buttoned-up shirt with denim shorts and trainers. I didn’t want to wear anything formal, so I wore what I wanted.
Just then, two knocks were heard and I was putting my black curly hair in a ponytail as I walked towards the door. I opened up the door and saw Jeremy, smiling at me and having one hand behind his back. He was wearing some casual clothing; a tight white shirt, denim jeans and trainers. And also a backpack…?
“Please don’t tell me you brought me flowers.. Or wine.” I said. I didn’t like flowers as much. And I wasn’t much of a drinker.
“No… I brought chocolate! I thought you got hayfever, you didn’t like to drink or something.”
Jeremy took out a box of chocolates from behind his back and handed them to me.
“Oh! Ferrero Rocher! I love those! Wait, how did you know I wasn’t allergic to nuts?” I said, putting the box down and crossing your arms.
“Umm… I guessed?” Jeremy shrugged.
I chuckled.
“They’re perfect.” I smiled at him.
3rd person POV
It was only a short walk to the nearest karaoke bar in Toronto and, like the gentlemen he was, Jeremy held the door for her as you both walked into the place.
There was a big stage with a DJ and a karaoke stand with two microphones. Also, private rooms if you were too shy to go onto the big stage and sing in front of small crowds.
“So, you want to go on the big stage or rent a private room for a few hours?” Jeremy asked her.
“What about food?” She retorted.
“That’s what the backpack is for.”
“Wait, you can’t bring food in here! Can you?”
Jeremy just chuckled as he leaned in to whisper in her ear; “They don’t have to know, do they?”
She watched him walk towards the counter to rent a room out. She could still hear the words that he whispered and his lips near her ear. It seemed like the manager of this place knew him personally. Perhaps he came here when he was filming the first season of his show.
After his podcast he did with Dax Shepard and many interviews, especially the Hot Ones interview he did whilst promoting Hawkeye and Mayor of Kingstown, she knew he attended karaoke bars back in Los Angeles.
She liked singing, but performing in front of other people was one of her biggest fears.
There were only a few people who knew that her singing was quite good; your best friend Taylor (who was a boy) and her imaginary friend, Jeremy (yes, she named them after Jeremy himself).
Jeremy came back with his hands in his pockets.
“Are you nervous to sing in front of all these people..” He began to say.
Of course, that wasn’t the only thing. She was kinda nervous to sing in front of him. He was an amazing singer. She looked down, trying to make the floor look more interesting than the topic in hand. She fidgeted with her hands and shuffled her feet.
Jeremy lifted her chin with his left hand.
“..Or is it someone else?” He finished his sentence.
Was he touching her? Other than the time he hugged her and kissed her cheek.
“Come on Heather. Be honest.”
She sighed and looked up to meet his eyes.
Jeremy let go of her face as she began to say, “Yeah, it’s because of you. You’re a great singer and I feel like you’re gonna judge me because of my singing abilities.”
“Heather. I’m not going to judge you whether you have a great voice or a really bad one. You’re a great gal.” Jeremy replied.
She smiled at him.
“Okay then. I guess I could get the courage to sing in front of you.”
“That’s the spirit! Come on then.”
He wrapped his arm around her and you both walked into the room he rented out.
Once you both got into the room, Jeremy went first, like a gentleman and chose his first song. It was ‘It's My Life’ by Bon Jovi. His voice was so deep and croaky for this 90s rock song and it was astounding. She was amazed once again.
“It's my life
It’s now or never
But I ain't gonna live forever
I just want to live while I'm alive”
Once he finished, he bowed and she was clapping.
“Wow. That was amazing. I thought you were going to do Sinatra or Backstreet Boys or something like that?” She stood up, still clapping.
“Well… you learn something new every day.” Jeremy smirked. He handed over the microphone towards her as it was wireless. “I think it’s her turn. Pick any song you want.”
She nervously took the mic and walked slowly towards the karaoke machine. She looked through the many songs on the list and she eventually picked ‘Watermelon Sugar’ by Harry Styles.
As she started the first verse, her arms and legs were shaking. Jeremy saw her shaking nervously. So he smiled at her, nodding and putting his thumbs up.
She eventually got the courage, singing more loudly as it got to the chorus.
“Breathe me in, breathe me out
I don't know if I could ever go without
I'm just thinking out loud
I don't know if I could ever go without”
She noticed Jeremy smiling more as he heard her singing voice.
As she finished, he smiled and stood up, cheering and clapping. “Oh.. my fuckin’ God! That was… amazing!” Jeremy complimented her.
She went over to him and he put his arms out for a hug. She returned the hug, putting her arms around his waist, her head against his chest.
“It was good?” She said to him, looking up to see his grin.
“It was amazing! Wow, you sounded exactly like Harry!” Jeremy replied as you both pulled out of the hug.
Just then, her stomach rumbled.
“Oops. I guess I haven't had anything to eat since this morning.” She chuckled slightly.
“You want me to take out some food? What do you want?” Jeremy asked you, taking out his phone.
“A sandwich would be amazing. Thanks. How long did you book the room for?”
“About an hour and a half. That’s all.”
He picked out a ham and cheese sandwich and a drink for her and handed it to her. She thanked him and opened up the sandwich pack.
She bit in the first slice of your sandwich and placed it down onto the table with her drink.
As Jeremy got out a BLT sandwich and a bottle of sparkling water, he placed it on the table with her stuff.
“Okay, are you ready for a duet together? You can choose the song.”
“My knowledge of music is very diverse, but I’m not sure of the perfect song to sing together.”
She shrugged her shoulders as she watched Jeremy walk towards you.
“Well I got the perfect song…”
She raised an eyebrow as she watched him go to the karaoke machine and picked out ‘Senorita’ by Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello. He then picked up another wireless microphone and gestured towards her to come and stand next to him.
“You ready?” He asked her as she walked over to him.
She nodded your head as she saw the lyrics come on screen. And it was his turn first.
“Land in Miami
The air was hot from summer rain
Sweat dripping off me”
She would look at him as he sang. And she was in love. His voice was seductive, deep and it was digging into your soul. That last line was making you anxious internally. Soon enough, it was her turn.
“Locked in the hotel
There's just some things that never change
You say we're just friends
But friends don't know the way you taste, la-la-la”
Jeremy then looked over to her as you both started to sing the next part.
“Ooh, when your lips undress me
Hooked on your tongue
Ooh, love, your kiss is deadly
Don't stop”
His blue-green eyes stared into her brown eyes. His face was up close as he was holding his microphone in his left hand. She moved your microphone away from your mouth and felt his right hand on her waist.
“Jeremy? What is happening right now?” She whispered as the song ended.
She watched as Jeremy smiled at her. He took the microphone from her hands softly and put both of them back to where they were. He then took her hands and held them with his.
“Can I tell you something? And I hope you don’t run away because of what I’m about to say.” Jeremy asked her.
“Why would I run away? Just tell me.” She chuckled silently.
Jeremy sighed before continuing to say,
“I really like you, Heather. Like, really like you.” Jeremy said.
“What? Do you actually like me?” She replied.
“Yeah I do.”
She blushed as she looked down onto the floor. She looked at her feet.
He put a hand on her face and lifted her chin.
“Can I kiss you?” He asked her.
She nodded as she smiled at him. Her hands slowly went around his waist as he slowly leaned in. He grabbed her face softly with both of his hands and his lips collided with hers. His lips were quite soft and delicate against hers.
It was perfect. Both of them fit together like two puzzle pieces.
They both pulled away.
“Wow..” She whispered as she stared at him. “Reality is even better than my dreams.”
“Your dreams? What are your dreams exactly?”
She saw him raise his eyebrow and smirking at her.
“Oh. Well.. it’s nothing you need to know about.” She chuckled as she slowly moved away from Jeremy.
“Fine.” Jeremy put his hands up in surrender. “I won’t ask anymore.”
As he drove her back to your hotel room, she both walked up to the closed door.
“That was an amazing night Jeremy. Thank you.” She smiled at him as you turned around to face him.
“You’re not annoyed that we kissed on the first date?” He said.
“No! I’m actually happy that we did. It is a shame that I’m going back to London tomorrow, so we probably won’t be able to see each other again.”
“Wait, you're going back home? How long is your vacation?” He asked, placing his hands in his pockets.
“Only three days, I’m afraid.”
“Shit.”
You both chuckled softly but sadly.
“I don't really want to leave you. I mean, you are great company after we both got to know each other.” He explained.
“Me neither. But that’s life, I guess.” She shrugged your shoulders.
Jeremy then pulled out his phone and scrolled through it for a moment before speaking up again, "Look at your phone once you go back in your room. Okay?"
She was confused as heck but I said "okay" anyways.
She then smiled as he leaned in again for the third time tonight and kissed her cheek. "Goodnight Heather." He smiled and whispered near her ear.
As she got back into her room, she closed the door behind me. She then took her hair out of her ponytail and laid down on the hotel bed, next to her packed-up things. She got out my phone and saw that she got a text from Jeremy. The contact name she had for him was 'Jeremy' with the purple heart emoji.
She opened up the text and it read:
'Dear Heather, thank you for the great company and the karaoke tonight! I'm sad that you have to go back to London but as you said, that's life I guess? You have to work as a... wait let me guess. An author? (please tell me I'm right). Anyways, I also have a job, as you know already, but I would still like to talk to you. My number is available for a text conversation, phone call or even a video chat.
You don't know half the things you do to me.
