Is it okay if I ask what type of s/o would the Gods be into? I find that really interesting and would like to hear your opinion since I really love your writing <3<3
This request came just right, bc I really want to write but I'm mad busy rn, and this was a lot of fun! so I kinda wrote for ... everyone.
If you're conventionally attractive, you are in Zeus' dating pool. You're exceptionally beautiful? I'm so sorry. Once he has set his eyes on you, you are not safe anywhere. There is no other factor that matters, except maybe if you're exceptionally hospitable and kind to guests, which might attract his attention. Which is not a good thing.
Poseidon would love someone unpredictable, someone who never gets boring and never fails to surprise him or catch him off guard. He'd love the excitement of it all and is generally pulled to exciting and outgoing people, but also people who are more introverted but break out of their shell at unexpected times.
If Hades had a type, it would for sure be someone a little more ... alive than him. He's clearly going for that opposites attract thing, just look at Persephone. Also, I reckon he'd like someone who can stand up for themselves, as standing up to his brothers was always very hard for him and he would admire you greatly for it.
Demeter would like someone who is humble, orderly and respectful and appreciative of the beauties of nature. Someone who finds joy in the little things and never fails to call their grandma for her birthday.
To be honest- you don't have a romantic chance with neither Hera nor Athena, Artemis or Hestia. Though I thought it would be fun to make some platonic headcanons for what kind of mortal they would take interest in in a platonic way.
Hera admires loyalty, it doesn't even have to be to a spouse, it can also be your family or friends. Also, she appreciates people who remain strong even in the face of long term hardships or anguish, and it might earn you her favor. It's not that she pities you, but that she admires your strength to keep fighting. Also, she'd love to talk shit about men with you as much as the next goddess...
Artemis isn't about the whole opposites attract thing. As with Orion, she is likely to make friends with someone who shares her interests, as she also surrounds herself with her huntresses. She loves to talk about hunting and the wild and would like someone who isn't afraid to get themselves dirty. If you're a guy, it's pretty hard to get in her good grades though.
Athena is all in for academic weapons. Critical thinkers, challenging the status quo and earning great archivements. Someone she could have an intellectual conversation with, who offers new points of argument and is able to hold their own in an argument, she is the goddess of warfare after all...
I don't think there is anyone Hestia doesn't like, though she would favor people who spend a lot of time with their family and are kind and hospitable to others. Kindness to strangers is something she very much appreciates.
Apollo doesn't really have a type. His mortal lovers are symbolic for his creative inspirations, so he would not settle for a type but be all over the board. The variety of his lovers concludes that Apollo isn't looking for a specific kind of person. He simply watches or spends time with someone and BAM he's completely and utterly in love. He does love himself an artsy spouse though.
Ares needs someone calm and peaceful- it might seem a little contradictory, but Ares needs someone to ground him, to listen to him and provide the calm for his storm. Actually, he's all for domesticity, though a hot love affair doesn't turn him away either. If his spouse had a strong personality and could stand up for themselves, he would really respect that, but he would also be your guard dog if that wasn't the case. Ares just needs someone to love him unconditionally, quite like the next god on the list.
Not to be disrespectful but Hephaestus does not care who you are, he's just happy with someone who treats him with dignity. Be kind to him and he is putty in your hands. After all his family put him through, he'd also appreciate someone to rant about them to, who can also sit in silent understanding with him at other times. But honestly, he isn't setting the bar very high.
Not to call her vain, but you would have to be insanely beautiful to be on Aphrodites radar. She simply considers herself too good to spend her time on anyone who isn't pleasing to her eye- and that really cuts down the pool of potential lovers. Also, she would only stay around for someone who is ready to give their full attention to her at all times, she is a very demanding lover.
I think Hermes would want someone who is able to keep up with him, but also root him when he overdoes it a little. It would take quite a lot for him to actually stick around, because for him to make time in his busy schedule, he'd have to be head over heels in love.
Dionysus would probably not have a specific type either, simply because he wouldn't want to cut short his dating pool. Though he would like someone who is able to let loose at least sometimes and surrender to his pull of madness and ecstasy.
Extra: Eros would mostly go for someone attractive, but he wouldn't let that be the only factor. Just as the unpredictable and surprising nature of his arrows, Eros could fall for anybody, picking out a trait he loves about them and obsessing over it for the day (I'm thinking 'Someone New' by Hozier if you know what I mean).

Yandere main 6 x reader (headcanons) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
you were a mortal that the siblings had met after Zeus freed them from their father's clutches. Zeus who met you only weeks before while travelling through the mortal realm plotting against his father, brought his injured siblings to you for help nursing them back to health for the upcoming battle (and as an excuse to see you again).
needless to say, you were slightly in shock when a traveller whom you thought was a simple mortal, returned to your home with 5 of his godly siblings with him.
Hera and Demeter mostly ignored you at first, talking amongst themselves or Zeus to plot against Kronos. Hestia and Poseidon were the polite ones of the group, always helping clean up after meals and thanking you for helping them.
Zeus remained as he was before finding his siblings, flirting with you at any given moment and making slight touches that he claimed were 'accidental'. But before he could have too much fun, one of his siblings usually pulled him away.
after they had defeated Kronos and slowly began their path to destroying the rest of the Titans they left your home to live on Olympus, though they still returned on their own to visit you and mostly plead for you to come live on Olympus with them since it was too dangerous for you all alone in the mortal realm, now that the other titans knew that you had helped them.
Each time you denied their offers, they would act as if they didn't care, but inside, they were seething. How could you not realize they were only trying to protect you?
eventually if you deny them enough they wont give you a choice but to come with them, whether its poseidon bringing a flood to your home, or demeter growing poisonous spores in the village near by to scare you away.
once they manage to get you on Olympus, they slowly begin manipulating you into drinking ambrosia, becoming immortal like them. they say its to protect you so that you'll have a way to defend yourself, but really it's so that they won't lose you to old age or any other mortal weakness.
after you reluctantly agree and become immortal, they start showing some of their more true feelings, becoming more forceful or flirty at times dragging you around and trying to steal your attention from each other.
when Zeus and Hera begin having children of their own Hera practically leashes you to her, claiming she needed help caring for them, much to the disliking of her siblings.
as Zeus slowly begins straying from Hera, having other children with his mistresses you were pulled away by Hestia who wanted to keep you away from their fights, jealous by this Demeter slowly moved her way in, forcing her sister to share your time with her.
as the years went on and Olympus expanded, their obsessions slowly deepened, some hiding their jealousy well and others, causing a scene if anyone dared speak to you.
after the battle with Typhon when Zeus and Hera cheated Hades and Poseidon out of the elusynium stone with the claim that Zeus was the strongest of the three (but really it was a ploy to keep you with them), they declared that you would remain on Olympus since there was no way that you would thrive in the sea or underworld.
as soon as Hades and Poseidon had left for their new realms, and Demeter and Hestia had decided to keep to themselves to focus on their own duties to the mortals, you were left to Zeus and Hera.
they quickly took your hand in marriage, even if you disagreed with it, you were theirs and no one would change that. even if it meant fighting and betraying their siblings to keep it that way.

Hi! I just saw your daughter of Hera headcanons and I adored them! Can I please get something similar but instead as the daughter of Hestia? Thank you!
Being a daughter of Hestia HCs
note -> I love Hestia so much shes one of my favorite greek gods <33
warnings -> none.
content includes -> fluff, platonic! Hestia, everyone at camp likes you.
People are surprised that Hestia has a child. The goddess of the hearth is, of course, a virgin goddess and works to keep peace among the gods, so when you arrive at Camp Half-Blood, it's something of a shock to everyone—Hestia rarely takes a direct part in demigod affairs, and the idea of her having a daughter is unexpected.
You're instantly seen as a soothing presence. The moment you enter the campsite, people notice how your presence seems to bring peace with it. Fights seem to die down when you're near, and tension just melts away. The other campers start looking to you for comfort and advice instead of seeking battle advice or quests. They come to you when they need to be heard or if they had a long day of training and want to unwind.
You spend a lot of time around campfires. You are a daughter of Hestia, and you only feel at home around the fire. You would usually busied by tending it, to keep it burning steadily. You're less concerned with combat and quests than some of the other campers. But you provide a much-needed service: keeping the camp's heart-cordial and warm.
Your cabin is a home for all the others. Just because Hestia herself didn't have a cabin, you're probably sorted into Hermes' cabin, or you've been given your own tiny spot. Whichever the case, wherever you go, your space becomes a haven to the campers. A place to lock themselves up and relax, talking it over, or just being with themselves, not judging each other. You always keep one warm blanket around, should any camper need one, or an extra mug of hot chocolate.
You have a gentle approach to leadership. You do not like to bark orders or rush into battle, yet people hold you in high regard. Your quiet wisdom and soothing way with mediation make you a natural peacemaker and the others often ask you to help negotiate conflicts among the campers. Even the more hot-headed children of Ares or Hermes listen to you when tempers flare.
Your powers are subtle, yet so very valuable. You do not yield fire in a destructive manner, as Hephaestus' children do. You can control hearth flames and bring warmth and comfort with you where you go. You can light fires that never burn out or summon a small flame to soothe someone's anxiety or stress. Your powers are more about protection and nurturing than about combat.
Older campers, especially those who have been through wars and quests, respect you. They have fought enough battles; the tranquil natured attitude is a change of scenery. You are there to remind them it's not all about the fights that make life worth living. Some even open their hearts to you, sharing with you their deepest fears and worries, knowing you'll never betray their trust.
You are attached to nature and home. Like Hestia, you find delight in simplicity and small quiet moments. You love helping in the kitchens, planting flowers, and just sitting with others by the fire. All these so-called ordinary activities happy for you, and you make other people notice the beauty of them too.
People come to you for advice and comfort. Even campers who are more inclined toward fighting or adventure will be drawn to the calmness you bring with you. Children of Athena might look to you when they're troubled by strategy; children of Apollo might come to you when they need emotional support after healing someone else. You're never too busy to listen, and people learn to rely on that.
You're often underestimated, and that's really okay by you. Most anybody who assumes that you aren't a fighter also thinks you won't be much use on quests or in battles. But when it comes to anything involving the heart, family, and loyalty, you're second to none. The way that emotional intelligence and quiet strength keeps people off guard till your role proves to be utterly important.
Chiron and the other leaders trust you highly You're one of those people whose opinions are sought often at camp morale or in case of disputes arising. Chiron values your sober-mindedness and your ability to look at things from every side. You're the one he trusts to help mediate issues between cabins, and your input is quite valued in camp meetings.
Around campfires, you are usually the life of the company. While others may sing or tell stories, you can sit by the fire, stirring and keeping it bright. You seek no attention, but your presence will be felt in the warmth of the flames and the serenity it gives. Without you, the campfire would just not be the same.

Their favorite thing about you (DLH)
Ares:
Your eyes.
He loves your eyes, because that's how he met you. You were just one more small human of the thousands who came to ask for his intervention, one more and that's it. At first glance you didn't have anything special and a god shouldn't be attracted to you the way Ares was.
But no other god had seen what he saw in your eyes (or else a war would have been fought on Olympus for you by now). It wasn't just the beautiful color of your orbs, but the way they glowed with intense passion, deep rage, and endless bravery, that finally made the god of war fall for you. Even today, so many years later, Ares loves looking into your eyes, where there is still an intense fire that he knows will never fade.
Athena:
Your curiosity.
The goddess was used to receiving thousands of questions and pleas for help from mortals, who in these more modern days used to come to her only as a kind of living encyclopedia.
But you didn't. In fact, she had never even seen you set foot in her temple before. You were a completely different creature, full of curiosity about all the creation of the world, everything was fascinating to you, and she loved your questions, especially the simple ones, because they didn't come from a need beyond the simple fact of wanting to learn. It was something the world needed, and she was willing to protect you for it.
Arce:
Your patience.
She knew, she was more than aware, that she was not the best partner, especially for a mortal like you. She carried too many wounds, from a time when humanity didn't even exist, wounds that even other immortal beings didn't want to deal with.
But you do. You had opened for her not only the doors of your house, but of your life, you had welcomed her and accompanied her, you had taken care of her and, for the first time in centuries, she thought that perhaps healing was coming her way. Arce didn't want to exhaust you, after all, the wounds of a being like her were too big and heavy for a mortal, but your infinite patience gave her hope that you would at least stay with her for as long as your finite lifetime allowed you.
Demeter:
Your laughter.
She is the goddess of the harvest, she creates life wherever she goes. Strong and imposing trees, flowers more beautiful than the stars, unique and precious plants. But all that, paled and remained small before the perfection that was your laugh.
Demeter loved that sound, he loved the way your eyes and nose crinkled, how you showed your perfect teeth, how your stomach bounced slightly with the force of your joy. It was the sound of life, and she swore to protect it until time took it to infinity and the silence of death replaced it.
Hestia:
Your nose.
Listen, she's a simple goddess, okay? Does she like something? It's hers, period. And that goes for your beautiful and perfect nose too. Don't ask why of all your beautiful face that's her favorite part, just accept that you're going to have a very amused goddess pressing it like a little round button at all hours.
Hestia also loves your brilliance and sense of humor, which usually helps enhance her blackmailing pranks on the other gods, but that's another story.
Hades:
Your hands.
Hades loved your hands, not just because of how beautiful they were or how soft your skin was, but because of everything they represented to him. He was the god of death, he was used to ending things, destroying them, reducing them to nothing. But you? you created, you used your hands to bring new objects and ideas to life, you were the opposite of him and that never ceased to amaze him.
He loved your touches too, of course. He was used to the tedious humid heat of the underworld, the kind that is terribly unbearable, that makes you sweat and your clothes stick to your body. But you had shown him another kind of warmth, a soft and gentle one, that ran through his body like a calm light every time you caressed his cheek or took his hand.
Despena:
Your kindness.
It is not a secret to anyone that the goddess tended to be reserved and quiet, like a shadow that no one spoke to if it was not necessary. That is why she appreciated your warm and compassionate heart. She loved to see you interact with other beings, because your words, your gestures and movements were always charged with a deep love and respect for life.
After centuries of living in her sister's shadow, of being ignored by her mother no matter how hard she tried to be the best supporting goddess for her, Despena appreciated your kindness knocking on her door, showing her that she didn't need to be better than anyone, just be the best version of herself.
Hermes:
Your calmness.
As the herald of the gods and the fastest god on Olympus, Hermes was used to a hectic, fast-paced life with chaos always following him wherever he went. That's why it was a huge surprise to everyone when he introduced you as his partner, because you were the complete opposite of him.
However, it took Apollo and Athena only a couple of minutes to realize why Hermes loved you so much. You were perfect for him, precisely because you balanced him, because in the midst of all his chaos, you were always standing there, ready to be the immovable pillar, the security and stability that he needed so much. It didn't matter if you treated him like a little boy from time to time, he loved it.
Hecate:
Your hair.
It might sound simple and almost comical right? That the goddess of magic, someone who could create absolutely anything with the snap of her fingers, would be so fascinated by something as simple and vain as mortal hair.
But it was precisely that simplicity that drew her. Hecate was aware of the wonders she could do and why mortals came to her daily, but that you let her play with your hair allowed her to anchor herself to the world, to the fact that she could be more than magic, that's why she loved so much spending hours brushing it while you worked your own magic on her, the simple one that only required a smile and a cup of tea.
Hela:
Your vitality.
She was used to the cold of Helheim, to the thousands of lamentations of the souls in pain and to the feeling of loneliness that always nestled in her chest. That's why she loved so much when you went to visit her.
You were always smiling, you were always happy, your voice traveled to the last corner of the gloomy place and your presence seemed to radiate a warm and comforting light, the souls seemed serene and almost happy while they played with you. You were life itself arriving at the place of death, and Hela loved you for it, enough to push the fear of the day that light went out to the back of her mind.

Hiii!
I just recently saw your PJO fanfics about Nico and I loved them.
And I also noticed the severe lack of PJO x male reader fics in general. So I was hoping if you could write a fanfic with son of Demeter reader x Percy Jackson. (Can be a fanfic or just headcannons ur choice)
You don't have to do this request but it would be nice ^-^
Alright ty for listening to my Ted talk
Wildflower (Percy Jackson x Son of Demeter)
Thanks for the request :) You really had me dig out my books to remember how Demeter was portrayed, and surprisingly, she's kind, so it wasn't much trouble doing this request. It seems I got carried away, so I hope you enjoy!
tags: fluff, some angst, overprotective Demeter, who knows who your father is, headcanon and fanfic, mentions of calypso, break up/make up
Being a son of Demeter is a big deal. Because although she wasn't a virgin like Artemis or Hestia, it was rather difficult for a mortal to catch her attention. So not only are you a demigod but also cursed (lucky) to be a descendent of such an esteemed goddess.
Compared to other campers, you don't hate your godly parent. Sure, your mom is absent for many things and your memories of her are rather scarce, but, on the flip side, you are made aware of just how much your mother loves you. Afterall, you are her youngest child and she must keep an eye on you.
So, when news reaches her that you've begun dating Percy Jackson, she grows overprotective. What do you expect? After the whole fiasco with your sister, Persephone, she wants the best for her son. So expect the goddess to keep an eye on you two.
Percy doesn't mind your mother's overbearingness. In fact, it reminds him of his own mother. However, this doesn't mean that Percy is reckless. Demeter might be kind, but inquiring her wrath was stupid. So, he's extra careful and strives to show respect to the goddess—never stepping on flowers, always keeping a respectful distance from sacred plants, and treating every piece of nature as if Demeter herself is watching.
It takes some time, but your mother comes around. In fact, she's pleased you found someone 'worthy' of your affections. This might or might not have something to do with the fact that Percy has begun helping you tend a garden dedicated to her. Growing flowers known to be sacred to Demeter, like poppies and wheat. They work on it together, Percy’s hands clumsy but earnest.
Not everything in your relationship is easy. There are times, winter and fall especially, when your mood is foul and Percy is no help at all. His recklessness and impulsivity always ticks you off, but none more so when he keeps secrets from you. Like how Calypso kissed him before departing Ogygia.
The moment you saw him walking down the hill, something was off. He had that nervous look in his sea-green eyes, the one he got when he was about to face something dangerous—only this time, it was you. You crossed your arms, trying to root yourself in place, like your mother, Demeter, had taught you. But the anger simmering inside made that hard.
Percy reached you, giving a half-hearted smile. “Hey, I—”
“You kissed her?” Your words cut through the air like a sharp gust of wind.
Percy blinked, looking caught off guard. “What? No, it’s not like that—”
“Don’t lie to me, Percy.” You felt your fists tighten, your connection to the earth deepening as the grass beneath your feet curled and twisted with your emotions. “You let her kiss you, didn’t you?”
His brows furrowed, and he stepped closer. “It wasn’t like that. Calypso was—she was saying goodbye. It wasn’t…I didn’t want to hurt her.”
“You didn’t want to hurt her?” You repeated, the words feeling bitter on your tongue. “What about me? Or did you think I wouldn’t find out?”
Percy exhaled sharply, rubbing the back of his neck, clearly frustrated. “I was stuck on her island. I didn’t ask to be there! She kissed me because she had to say goodbye to something she couldn’t keep. It wasn’t my choice.”
You laughed, but it was bitter, like the taste of dry soil. “Maybe not, but you didn’t stop her either.”
Percy’s eyes flashed with frustration, the sea’s storm brewing behind them. “Come on, that’s not fair!” he snapped, his voice rising above the whispering trees. “I was stuck on a cursed island, not on some vacation! What was I supposed to do? Tell her no? I didn’t exactly have a lot of options.”
You took a step back, the sting of his words making your chest tighten. But anger pushed you forward again, overriding any hint of reason. “No, what’s unfair is me thinking you were gone, Percy!” Your voice cracked, but you didn’t care. The pain had to come out somehow. “I waited here for weeks, wondering if this was the quest that would take you away from me forever. Did you even think once of me while you were away? Or was Calypso the only thing on your mind?”
Percy opened his mouth, but for a moment, no words came out. The guilt that flashed across his face was brief, but it was there, plain as day. “Of course I thought of you,” he said, his voice softer now, though still tinged with frustration. “I thought about you every single day. But I was stuck on that island with no way out. It wasn’t about wanting to be with her. I was just trying to survive.”
“And that’s supposed to make it okay?” You could feel the vines creeping up again, brushing against your ankles like a reminder of everything you were trying to hold in. “You were trapped; I get that. But a kiss, Percy? Do you know how that sounds?”
“I didn’t want this to happen,” he whispered, his voice softer now, almost pleading. “I didn’t mean to hurt you.”
You looked away, blinking back the sting of tears you refused to let him see. “Well, you did.”
The silence between you was heavy, thicker than any storm. Percy stared at you, guilt and regret etched into every line of his face. “I don’t know how to fix this,” he said, almost to himself.
You swallowed hard, forcing the lump in your throat down. “I don’t either, but right now, I need to figure out if I even want to.”
To say Demeter was mad at Percy is an understatement. The goddess's wrath casted a dark cloud over Camp Half-Blood that left even the bravest demigods feeling uneasy. Percy found himself stuck inside his cabin, trapped by an invisible force of nature, the very flora that usually thrived in the camp now threatening to attack him.
Not even Poseidon, the god of the sea, could ease some of Demeter’s anger. He tried to vouch for Percy and his love for you, yet the mere mention of Percy's name caused your mother to shake the ground beneath him. That was the first and last time he meddled in your affairs.
The campers were worried for both of you—the fight had clearly affected everyone, their agriculture suffering greatly, but they truly believed you guys were it. So it pained them to see the perfect couple at the verge of going seperate ways.
It was Annabeth who managed to get you two to talk things through. With her acting as the mediator, you three were locked inside a room and forced to speak about your feelings. Looking back, it was comical how it closely resembled marriage counseling.
The room felt thick with tension, every breath heavy as if weighed down by the unspoken emotions swirling between you, Percy, and Annabeth. You sat on the edge of the worn-out couch, legs bouncing anxiously, eyes fixed on the floor as if the threadbare carpet held the answers you desperately sought. Percy was beside you, close but not close enough. The usual warmth of his presence felt distant, and though you could sense his guilt radiating off him, it wasn’t enough to bridge the gap.
Annabeth stood before you both, arms crossed over her chest, her expression a blend of sympathy and frustration. She was here as a mediator, but even the daughter of Athena couldn’t easily navigate this emotional minefield. “Let’s just go over the events,” she said, trying to keep her voice steady. She turned to Percy, urging him to explain. “What led to the kiss?”
Percy sighed deeply, running a hand through his unruly hair as he gathered his thoughts. “Calypso gave me some items—supplies, food—and made sure the raft was stable enough to withstand the ocean’s currents. I was grateful; she’d done so much to help me. So, I turned to say goodbye and thank her when she…when she suddenly kissed me.” He glanced at you, his eyes pleading. “M/N, please believe me when I say that I didn’t reciprocate—I didn’t want it.”
You finally looked up, eyes locking onto his with an intensity that made him flinch. “That’s not the problem, Percy,” you said, your voice surprisingly calm but laced with hurt. “What hurt me was that you didn’t push her away, that she thought you were interested enough to even try.”
You paused, swallowing the lump in your throat as you tried to keep your composure. “During your time on Ogygia, did you ever once mention that you had a boyfriend? Did you ever think of me when you were with her?”
Percy’s eyes widened in panic, the hurt in your words cutting deeper than any monster’s blade ever could. He reached out, but his hand fell short, hovering between you as if afraid to cross the fragile line that now separated you two. Desperation filled his voice as he finally spoke, each word trembling with urgency and raw honesty.
“I did tell her,” Percy blurted, his voice cracking. “Gods, I talked about you all the time. From the moment I set foot on that island, I told Calypso about you. Every single day. I told her how you were waiting for me, how you were my anchor—my reason for fighting and my reason I couldn’t stay with her. She knew, M/N. She knew you were my everything.” He ran a hand over his face, trying to hold back the tears that were threatening to spill.
Annabeth’s expression softened as she glanced at you, silently urging you to listen. Percy’s words were coming from the heart, and even she couldn’t deny the sincerity in his voice. But the pain in your eyes remained.
“When I first got there, I was barely conscious,” Percy continued, his voice softer now, tinged with a mix of sorrow and desperation. “I was so beaten up, so tired, and all I could do was mumble your name. Over and over, even in my sleep. She heard me say it—Calypso heard me calling out for you, asking for you.” He paused, swallowing hard. “She knew there was someone else. She knew how much I loved you. I made it clear, but I didn’t push her away fast enough. I was stupid, and I’m so sorry.”
You felt your heart twist at his confession, the image of Percy lying on that distant shore, broken and alone, but still calling out for you. It was the kind of story you had dreamed about before—the hero fighting impossible odds, returning home to the one he loved. But now, hearing it from his lips, the romance was stripped away, leaving only the raw truth of a mistake made in a vulnerable moment.
Annabeth cleared her throat, trying to diffuse the tension, but even she seemed at a loss. “Look,” she said gently, “what matters now is where you go from here. You two have been through worse together. If you still want this—if you still want each other—then you’ll find a way.”
Percy reached out again, hesitantly, his fingers brushing against yours. “I’m not perfect, M/N. I screw up, and I hurt you, but I want to make this right. I love you, and I’ll spend every day proving it if you’ll let me.”
Even if you forgive Percy, you take baby steps to rebuild your trust. You agree to talk more openly about your feelings and avoid keeping secrets from one another. Percy goes out of his way to make you feel valued, leaving you notes, planning small dates, and constantly reminding you how much you mean to him.
Percy knows he didn't only need to seek forgiveness from you, but your mother. To truly show his commitment, he request a chance to speak to the goddess. It’s terrifying—facing the goddess’s wrath head-on—but he humbly apologizes and explains how deeply he loves you, promising to never let you feel sidelined again. Demeter doesn’t forgive easily, but she appreciates Percy’s bravery and sincerity, granting her reluctant approval with a warning not to hurt her son again.
To solidify his commitment, Percy organizes a surprise picnic in the strawberry fields—your favorite spot. It’s filled with your favorite foods, and Percy shyly presents a flower crown he made himself, though it’s a little uneven. It’s simple but heartfelt, symbolizing his renewed promise to always cherish you.
After reconciling, you and Percy start talking about your future together, beyond Camp Half-Blood. You both decide that New Rome is the perfect place to build a life after everything you’ve been through. The idea of living among other demigods and having a peaceful life feels like a dream finally within reach.
The move to New Rome is filled with excitement and nerves. You find a cozy apartment together, and even simple things like grocery shopping or decorating the space feel like small adventures. It’s a fresh start, and every day feels like you’re building something new, hand in hand.
One evening after a particularly good day—whether it’s celebrating an exam passed or simply enjoying each other’s company—Percy gets down on one knee. He doesn’t have a grand speech prepared; he just tells you how much you mean to him and how he can’t imagine a life without you. The ring is simple, with a small gemstone that reminds you of the sea, and you say yes without hesitation.
Surrounded by your friends from Camp Half-Blood and New Rome, you and Percy get married in a beautiful ceremony filled with flowers and ocean-themed decorations. Demeter attends, blessing the union with flourishing blooms, a sign of her approval and happiness for you both. The ceremony is intimate, filled with laughter, tears, and the undeniable feeling that you’ve both found your forever.

Fem Mortal Reader x Yandere Hestia, but the reader isn't a pushover.
:)
yandere! Hestia x fem! mortal! Reader - ♡ general hcs
warnings -> none....it's hestia...actually, slight clinginess??
paring/s -> yandere! Hestia x mortal! fem! reader (gender of the reader isn't mentioned or relevant tbh)
a/n -> rising from my grave to finish this
————————————————————
-> meeting her as a mortal means that you're probably gonna meet her in your fireplace
-> the most likely scenario is that you had just faced one of the worst heartbreaks in your life— losing a family member, a regular breakup, whatever
-> Hestia, being who she is, would probably not be able to bear the sight of someone in pain, guiding the fire to warm you up, flames flickering up towards you as if in a comforting manner
-> her presence is a very comforting and homely feeling and when she concentrates on a particular hearth, her power increases tenfold
-> probably resulting in you dozing off in a cozy armchair, fast asleep like your world hadn't just come crashing down around you
-> she watches you sleep so peacefully (but like- in a non creepy way)
-> she keeps on at it for a while, watching you do your daily chores for a while, admiring you from a safe distance and slowly falling for you
-> I don't think Hestia would even bother trying to disguise herself as a regular human to you, she just pops up in your fireplace one day and shyly starts a conversation
-> Depending on your reaction, she'd either cool you down or happily continue your conversation like literally nothing ever happened
-> I'm not gonna go into details but she'd win you over pretty damn quickly and starts dating you as soon as possible
(now for some domestic fluff...cuz it's hestia)
-> I have this headcanon that because Hestia is the goddess of family, she'd know all the best picnic spots
-> like you cannot tell me that she wouldn't know the most gorgeous cliffside overlooking a sea view in the world and take you there as a date
-> she likes baking for you because she adores how your face lights up when she makes you those cookies you love so much
-> she already knows your allergies and taste in food so don't even bother telling her, she's already got the best recipes she has set in mind :)
-> she likes taking you on peaceful walks with her while she's disguised as a human
-> watching all the different people walk by with their dogs, significant others, etc, etc makes her very happy
-> she'll point out to you all the small, gorgeous details your eyes might've missed
->she wants to show you the beauty of the world you live in!
-> definitely takes you to visit her favourite places in greece
->dresses up like a local that the people know well by now and takes you to her favourite parts of her homeland <3
->wants you to try all the native food, 100%
->when it comes to the issue of her being an immortal goddess and you being a regular ol mortal with a short life span (compared to her anyway), she'll try to convince you to let her feed you nectar
->obviously, you say something along the lines of 'fuck no'
->she's devastated when you abandon her at the table in the restaurant she took you to, to run away
->keeps popping up in the hearth whenever you light your fire (only for you to extinguish the flames with water)
->she finally gets you to have a normal, healthy conversation with her when she catches you off guard while you're napping by the fireplace
->would probably end with a compromise (somehow) that she'd make your closest friends and family immortal with you so that you'd all be able to live together
->after that, your relationship is pretty much smooth sailing
->Hestia isn't a very possessive or jealous person and she usually communicates that she's uncomfortable when she is
->cuz, y'know...she's actually sane (unlike the rest of her siblings and nephews and nieces)
->adopts an animal with you, a hundred percent <3
->likes cuddling you in her hearth, because it's so warm and cozy that you always end up falling asleep on her chest
->and she likes that :)
->takes you up to Olympus because she isn't scared of someone else taking you away
->none of the gods would even try because who would want to make Hestia upset? (especially cause it's mostly out of fondness, rather than terror *cough cough* Athena *cough cough*)
->anyway, she's probably one of the best girlfriends in the world <3
->can't and doesn't marry you because of her vow, but gives you a promise ring and lets you give her one if you really wanted to <3
->mostly just overly clingy, staying by your side whenever she can and hearth-hopping to wherever you go— work, out with friends, etc
BONUS!
-> she leaves you with Aphrodite if she's busy, because Aphrodite thinks you're adorable and always spends her time with you helping her doves make you all pretty for Hestia, Cinderella's fairy godmother style :)

Reading your demigod post, I liked it. I actually want demigod! Yuu who is related to Hestia.
sure thing, ask and you shall receive
𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐈𝐅 𝐘𝐔𝐔 𝐈𝐒 𝐀 𝐃𝐄𝐌𝐈 𝐆𝐎𝐃 ( 𝐇𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐀 ) 🔥
A demigod is a divine mythological figure, a god who is either part human, or a minor god. In ancient Greece, dead heroes were sometimes thought of as demigods. Greek and Roman mythology have their share of demigods, and so do many other ancient religions and traditions.
Demi god!Yuu takes immense pride in making Ramshackle Dorm a welcoming space for everyone. It’s not just a place to live—it’s a home. They have an almost magical ability to keep the fire always burning in the hearth, no matter how cold or chaotic things get. Ramshackle smells of baked bread, warm spices, and something uniquely comforting whenever demi-god!Yuu is around.
Their magic is centered around protective fire. Their flames never burn destructively unless they wills it—they warm, soothe, and shield. During fights, they conjures a dome of fire around their allies, and they even use smaller flames to guide lost souls through dark places, like a guardian light.
They also have a talent at food magic, the food that they always make held magical capabilities, they are able to heal, enhance and banish anxiety. Their cooking has the ability to rejuvenate and heal the bodies and soul of those who ate it.
They also have a habit of finishing their food in half of it and then throw the unfinished in the fire, when multiple students ask why they did it, they said it's a way to say thank you to their mother.
Demi-God!Yuu is the grounding force in Grim’s chaotic life. Their relationship is much like a motherly bond—Grim causes chaos, and they quietly fixes it. Despite Grim’s mischievous nature, he often finds himself curling up by their side when the day is over, soaking in the warmth and comfort only they can provide.
Ramshackle has been transformed from its previously rundown state into a warm, inviting space. They have added soft, plush furniture like oversized couches, armchairs, and thick rugs, making it perfect for lounging or gathering with friends. The walls are decorated with warm earth tones and rustic, simple decor—wooden shelves, woven tapestries, and small plants give the dorm a homey, lived-in feel
.In the spirit of family and unity, there’s a large, handcrafted wooden dining table in the center of the kitchen, where they often serves meals to friends. The table is always set with mismatched, yet charming dishware, and they keeps it stocked with fresh bread, fruit, and snacks. Meals at Ramshackle are a communal affair, with friends from different dorms often dropping by for food and conversation.
The central feature of Ramshackle Dorm under Demi-godYuu care is a large, ever-burning hearth located in the common room. The fire never goes out, providing warmth and comfort to anyone who enters. The flames are magical, casting a gentle golden light that fills the room with a sense of safety. It’s both literal and symbolic, representing their connection to their mother and their role as the heart of the dorm.
Ramshackle has become a popular spot for study sessions under their watch. They’ll prepare snacks, light the fireplace, and create a quiet, warm environment perfect for focusing on schoolwork. The other students find it easier to concentrate when their around, as their calm energy balances the stress of academics.
The kitchen is the heart of Demi-God Yuu’s hospitality. It’s an open space with hanging pots and pans, shelves lined with herbs and spices, and a large brick oven where they bakes their famous bread and hearty meals. There’s always something cooking, filling the dorm with the scent of fresh-baked goods and simmering stews. The fire in the oven is controlled directly by their magic, ensuring perfect heat for every dish.
During free time trey, Jamil and them would try new baking and cooking recipes. You would always expect them at the school's kitchen or at the ramshackle kitchen cooking a hearty meal for students to enjoy.
Btw behind ramshackle holds a garden filled with vegetables and fruits Demi-God!yuu grow by themselves during free time you can always find them tending to the vegetables and for those who steal without permission is gonna suffer from their raft.
Ruggie enjoys their present, since they always give him free food. Or when he's tired and needs a place to rest you can always find him in ramshackle enjoying a meal prepared by Demi-God!yuu.
They love organizing small celebrations or get-togethers for special occasions. Whether it’s someone’s birthday or a dorm victory, they’ll create an event with homemade food, decorations, and warm fires to keep everyone cozy. These small festivals quickly become a favorite tradition among their friends, who look forward to their thoughtful touches.
They have a habit of collecting small, comforting objects from their friends and surroundings—little tokens like handmade charms, smooth stones, or dried flowers. These trinkets serve as reminders of the bonds they’ve formed with others, and they often places them on shelves or keeps them in pockets to carry that warmth with them.
At the end of the day, Demi-God yuu has a ritual of sitting by the fire, quietly meditating or reflecting on the events of the day. They’ll let the flames dance in front of them, using the soft crackling sound to clear their mind. Sometimes friends will join, creating a peaceful, bonding moment before heading off to bed.
They also often crafts small protective charms out of clay, fire, and herbs, infused with a spark of their divine power. These charms are designed to ward off harm and bring good fortune to those who carry them. Many of their friends have one, often worn as a necklace or tucked into a pocket. The charm glows faintly when danger is near, reminding everyone of their protective nature.
Though demigod-Yuu is kind and gentle, they are fiercely protective when it comes to their friends. They don’t always show it, but they’re constantly aware of everyone’s well-being, ready to step in if something goes wrong. Their quiet but vigilant nature means that danger rarely catches them off guard. When someone threatens those they care about, their flames burn hotter and more intense, transforming them from a peaceful caretaker into a protector.
Demi-God Yuu has an incredible emotional intuition, able to sense when something is off with their friends, even when they try to hide it. Whether it’s the way someone’s aura feels cooler than usual or how they’re behaving more distantly, they will pick up on the smallest shifts and offer quiet support. This makes them a comforting presence, as people don’t have to explain themselves for them to understand.
They can channel their fire magic into healing flames. When someone is injured, they place their hands over the wound and allow a gentle warmth to radiate, accelerating the healing process. These flames don’t burn or hurt but instead bring a soothing, regenerative warmth that makes physical injuries heal faster and leaves the person feeling rejuvenated.
Their clothing is enchanted to be fireproof, both for practical and aesthetic reasons. They often wear outfits that are warm and cozy, like oversized sweaters, soft scarves, and long skirts or pants. Their style is practical but has a rustic charm, blending comfort with the feeling of being always ready for action. The clothes seem to emit a slight warmth as well, making others feel comforted when standing close to them.
They also carries a small, portable cooking kit that includes a tiny pot, a collapsible spatula, and a few spices. While it may seem strange, this kit is perfect for impromptu cooking, whether it's brewing a quick soup or making tea. Their always ready to cook, no matter where they are.
Demi-God Yuu can communicate with fire spirits and small ember-like creatures. These spirits sometimes act as helpers or companions, flitting around them, providing warmth, guidance, or even playful company. These little spirits are drawn to their hearth-like energy and often appear when they need a reminder of home or emotional support.
While they are known for their warmth, they carry a deep sadness from feeling like an outsider. Their divine heritage often makes it difficult to fully connect with their peers, leading them to struggle with feelings of inadequacy or not belonging. They share their feelings only with their closest friends, who help remind them of their worth and the positive impact they have on those around them.
Demi-God Yuu has a collection of unique candles from different places, each with its own story. They love to light these candles during study sessions or gatherings, filling the room with various scents that evoke memories and feelings of comfort.
They carrie a small, intricately designed keychain shaped like a flame that their mother gave them as a child. It serves as a reminder of Hestia’s love and protection and brings them comfort in challenging times. They often hold it when feeling anxious.
Malleus has a soft spot for them, often visiting their room to enjoy the warmth and peace it provides. He feels a connection to their hearth-like energy, which calms him in moments of solitude. They share a special bond over their understanding of loneliness.
Demi-God Yuu holds various superstitions related to their heritage, such as always carrying a lucky charm or lighting a candle before an important event. They believe these rituals help them connect with Hestia and bring them good fortune.
Demi-God Yuu has an affinity for puns, especially ones related to fire or warmth. Their friends groan at Demi-God Yuu’s dad jokes, but they can’t help but laugh because of their contagious enthusiasm and genuine joy in sharing them.
They enjoy spending time with Lilia, as he appreciates the warmth they bring to any gathering. They often have deep conversations about life, family, and finding purpose, bonding over their shared experiences as guardians of their respective communities.
They also keeps a journal filled with recipes from around the world. They aspire to learn about different culinary traditions and eventually host an international potluck at NRC, encouraging everyone to share their heritage.

Motherly Instinct
Once upon a time, in the lush and storied lands of ancient Greece, there lived a kind and gentle goddess named Hestia.
As the virgin goddess of the hearth, home, and hospitality, Hestia was revered by all for her nurturing and welcoming spirit. She was the heart of Olympus, always ready with a warm fire and a comforting word for her fellow gods and goddesses.
One fateful day, as Hestia tended to the sacred flames of her hearth, she heard a faint whimpering coming from the woods outside her palace. Puzzled, she followed the sound and soon came upon a sight that filled her heart with sorrow: a small, abandoned infant boy, left alone in the wilderness to fend for himself.
Hestia's maternal instincts immediately kicked in, and she knew she could not leave the child to perish. She scooped him up in her arms and brought him back to her palace, determined to give him a warm and loving home.
As she cared for the child, Hestia was filled with a sense of joy and fulfillment that she had never known before. She named the boy Hephaiestos, and raised him as her own, teaching him the ways of the gods and instilling in him the values of hospitality and kindness.
Under Hestia's tender care, Hephaiestos grew into a strong and handsome young man, with a kind heart and a quick mind. He became the god of fire and the forge, using his skills to create wondrous tools and weapons for his fellow gods and goddesses.
And though Hestia never married or had children of her own, she was content in the knowledge that she had played a role in shaping the life of one of the most beloved and respected gods of all time. For the rest of her days, she continued to tend to her hearth and offer her hospitality to all, knowing that she had truly found her calling as a mother and a nurturer.
The legend of Hestia and Hephaiestos became a beloved tale in ancient Greece, passed down through the generations as a testament to the power of love and the importance of family. And to this day, Hestia is remembered as the kind and welcoming goddess who opened her heart and her home to a child in need, and in doing so, created a bond that would last for all eternity.

PJO DEMIGOD HEADCANONS [BONUS!]
🔥 HESTIA: Goddess of the Hearth 🏠
author's note: I had a sudden idea about writing some headcanons Camp Halfblood demigods being claimed and what it's like for each respective god and cabin, followed by a small blurb afterwards. Thank you for reading and please like and reblog! The order is not in order of the cabin numbers. [PJO DEMIGOD HEADCANONS MASTERLIST]
Alright bear with me on this take: The fact that Hades gets a cabin finally. Hera doesn’t have any demigod children yet still has a cabin because of propriety and based on principle, which makes her cabin essentially a temple, so why not the same for Hestia? While Hestia may not have a need for a cabin or anything, but if the rest of the major gods have a structure, it might've felt uneasy for everyone that Hestia is the only one left that doesn't have one. So they erect one on the fact unless Hestia herself explicitly says she doesn't want one.
Hestia is the goddess of the Hearth and every offering/sacrifice offered to the gods, a bit of it always goes to her too. She also presides over the home and community.
Although this is mainly connected with h er Roman counterpart, Vesta, she has something similar to Artemis’ hunters but less aggressive and non-violent, called “The Vestal Virgins” who tend to the sacred fire in the Temple of Vesta. Essentially, you’re priestesses of Hestia.
Any demigod, mortal who can see through the mist, or what have you, are allowed to become as Hestia’s priestesses, who follow the same oath of maidenhood, swearing off romance, and etc. It's not uncommon to have mortals who were sisters or cousins, to either to the mortal parent of the demigod, or the demigod themselves, enter as Hestia's priestess.
You help maintain the sacrificial fire that is set up at the campfire, at the dining hall, and later the one in the Hestia’s cabin/temple.
It’s pretty straightforward. You do your duties that fall underneath Hestia’s domain, helping out with also maintaining the camp along with the Nymphs. Doing what you can for the community.
Children and those entering the household were blessed by Hestia, around the fire, showering them in nuts and figs. This also applies to any children entering camp at a young age or any staff members employed into Camp Half-blood.
You help bless any new babies that are born in Camp Half-blood, or rarely brought forward by former camp members. Oftentimes, the babies are baby satyrs and you work together with the children of Hebe who help take care of them as a daycare situation.
On a sombre note: you also are in charge with the funerals, with helping prepare the funeral pyres, and each shroud. You put out the fire at their deaths and rekindle it once more.
Your place is also the place to be for cooking and baking. Hestia’s domain is the hearth, which was also used to cook, so the kitchen is also her domain. This leads to so much baked and cooked food, that is separate from the mountain of food cooked for the dining pavilion. You often then not have a never ending line of people asking for some goodies. Hey, all growing heroes need to eat!
You also have to fend and cap off the satyrs. Your kitchenware are not safe.
The Winter Solstices, Christmas, Harvest festival, Thanksgiving, all those kinds of days are your ALL HANDS ON DECK moments. So much food. So much preparation and decoration to do! You often employ other camp members to help out with the events from the cooking to decoration. Their payment? Little sneaky treats.
You wondered before how the sacrificial fire was maintained and taken care of before you all came to be. Sure it was technically magical/spiritual fire and a portion of it could’ve been taken from Mount Olympus long ago to Camp Half-blood, but still-
Then you see a little girl with brown hair and brown eyes helping tend to the fire. You weren’t sure but you all worked together with her until one day, you saw her eyes light up with fire.
You breathed in the smoke and heat of the crackling blazer. The fire was high and roaring yet despite the dangers of it, you weren’t afraid of getting burnt. Perhaps it is because you’ve been tending to the fire for a while now, so you were sure how close was too close. Or was it because you had a feeling this was Hestia’s fire and knew you wouldn’t be harmed by it as you serve in her name and domain.
You had just finished up helping with the food rotation, and you were on baking duty. You and your other fellow members worked alongside the nymphs and dryads, The table was laden out with food for the incoming hungry campers, and the sneaky hands of Satyrs.
You poured the oil into the blazer and the fires roared even higher. You watch the embers fly up into the darkening sky filled with the sunset hues.
“A wonderful fire” you heard as you turned. You saw the little girl with brown hair, and brown eyes right beside you , and you almost jumped into the fire. You weren’t afraid of getting burnt but surely jumping into the blazer would still be a big no-no.
The girl giggled as you placed a hand on your beating heart. “Um…yeah, yes, the fire is wonderful” you stammered out a reply.
The girl smiled at you and gestured to you to come closer. You did and she reached into her robe to pull out a treat. Your favourite treat. Your mouth watered and it smelled just right.
“For you. Wonderful work (y/n), I hope you continue to warm others with our hearth” she said as you took the treat. You looked her in the eye and her brown eyes lit with fire. You widen your eyes, your body stiffening as you realise who you were talking to.
Hestia gave you one last, warm smile, before she disappeared into embers.

thalia grace x hestia!reader
summary is basically the request!!
constant arguing. constant, constant, constant arguing. luke’s head was about to split open.
“i could have handled him just fine, thanks,” thalia shouted, storming ahead on the narrow path through the woods somewhere in pennsylvania.
‘guys, please,” he would have thrown his head back if he wasn’t carrying a sleeping annabeth on his back. you thought she was the most adorable thing, drooling a little on luke’s shoulder. even the knife she kept clutched in her small fist was cute, although luke looked a little terrified that if she jolted in her sleep she would slice his chest open. a few weeks ago, you had convinced luke and thalia to stop, let you brush out her matted curls, and put her hair in braids that wouldn’t get caught or tangled as you all continued along the road. of course, thalia sat there critiquing every knot and part you made (with a celestial bronze knife, mind you).
“it had you pinned to the ground,” you said, referring to the stymphalian bird that had been chasing you from philadelphia. “it would have bitten your head clean off if you hadn’t gotten involved.”
thalia rolled her eyes.
“can we try a little patience here? gratitude, maybe?” luke chimed in.
“shut up, luke,” you said in unison. you might be bickering all the time, but thalia was your best friend. you certainly didn’t need luke coming in the middle, acting like he ran the show because he was the oldest. you got enough of that from thalia, and she was only a year older than you.
“for gods’ sake,” he muttered.
you trudged along, summoning soft flames between your hands. you hadn’t been born to a goddess, necessarily, but your adopted mother, who had fallen for a kind librarian in your town, had found your doorstep one day, long after the librarian had disappeared from her life, with a note attached. you had accidentally incinerated it shortly after she took you in, but she gave you the gist, which was that hestia had found you through a fire in an orphanage, enthralled by the flames, and that she had decided you were in need of a mother. she had pulled you through the hearth, given you some strange blessing, and dropped you on your mother’s doorstep.
eight years later, when you were nine, your mother had died in a plane crash on her way back from visiting her father. the foster homes hadn’t loved taking in a nine year old who could summon fire, so that was when you ran away.
so far, you could tell that hestia was trying her best to help you along your travels, which was more than you could say for hermes (ironically) or athena, let alone zeus, who you were pretty sure was the one stopping the others from intervening. you got the impression that hestia didn’t answer to zeus as much as he would have liked.
the fire came in handy at nights, when you could warm yourselves around it. you had a way of making even a campground in the middle of the appalachian mountains that crawled with monsters feel like home. you would go to sleep around the fire, but manage to wake up curled within thalia’s arms. you could never place it, but it felt different than how luke held annabeth like her life depended on it: as in, you would always wake to them giggling over their breakfasts at you, but it didn’t hold any weight to laugh at them.
⭑
the fire came in handy when you were trapped, alone, in the cyclops’ cellar. you had screamed for your friends to leave you, that you would be okay. and it came in handy on the streets of new york for the next five years, and even at the candy shop you managed to get a job in (somewhat illegally: a nice woman named sally did sort of pay you under the table).
then sally went missing. you lost your job, and you made your way south again, staying in the demigod hideouts you had made with luke, thalia, and annabeth. flames trickled across your skin as you cried, wishing they were still with you. you hoped they were safe at camp, but you could help wondering why they hadn’t sent anyone to come find you. did annabeth even remember you?
⭑
luke found you just as you were about to starve to death. you’d been in an especial depression, hiding in the cave of the blue ridge mountains, over in tennessee. the cold of the winter was insane. you couldn’t remember it ever getting that bad in the city.
you broke when he told you she was dead.
“it’s his fault,” he said, false tears in his eyes. he had long forced away any emotion pertaining to camp half-blood.
and so you joined him, becoming his right-hand man. the monsters in kronos’ army feared you. the girl with the flames, they whispered. yet in the privacy of your cabin, you silently prayed to hestia, let her guide you as you fought her brother.
it was she who told you to follow luke to mount tam.
⭑
the mountaintop was impossibly windy. you were relying entirely on your sword if there was trouble—any flame would be immediately extinguished.
you hadn’t accounted for the bigger threat—the air leaving your lungs at the sight of your sister on the ground as artemis held the sky beside her.
he promised.
he had promised annabeth would never be hurt.
your stomach churned. she didn’t even see you, bent over in pain. you couldn’t speak. you turned to luke, suddenly terrified. what had he done? what were you a part of? your legs turned to lead. no. he was already practicing. the titan lord was already too far in his mind to turn it around. and he sensed your allegiance shifting.
when she came over the hill your heart stopped.
your vision blurred as you saw her face. as she came to your side, held your face in her hands, and helped you to the ground beside annabeth.
you watched through teary eyes as she fought luke. as he fell from the cliff, you couldn’t help but reach out.
and then your vision darkened.
⭑
your eyes opened to warmth. annabeth sat by your side, brushing hair from your face. thalia stood talking to a boy—about twelve or thirteen, you guessed—and a man who shared annabeth’s dark skin and deep-in-thought expression.
she rushed to your side when annabeth called.
as she knelt beside you, you adjusted yourself on the couch. your hair was probably a disgusting mess. she smiled softly, brushing her own short hair behind her ear.
“i thought you were a tree,” you croaked, and she laughed lightly.
“i was. i thought you were cyclops food.”
“i wasn’t.”
she lowered her head, and you pushed yourself up on your elbows. she pushed a pillow behind your head, but held it up with the hand that wasn’t resting on your thigh. as she kissed you, you saw the years of camping behind you and the years ahead of rushing to her tree as the hunters arrived at camp all at once.
and as she pulled back, you saw annabeth smile, hiding her face in the other kid’s chest.

Okay so I saw whose Daughter of Hestia headcanons (my compliments to the chef) and I also saw you write angst... see where I'm going?
So, might I request headcanons for the child of Hestia getting injured after a battle and just how that might impact the people at camp/morale
Not sure if this makes sense, so sorry about that, but thank you.
Child of Hestia getting injured in battle
note -> Glad you liked the HCs! Yes i do write angst, it just happens that either no one ever requests it or i dont have any idea for the requests.
warnings -> none.
content includes -> angst, the campers are pissed, reader is heavily injured.
The entire camp is shocked when you get hurt. As Hestia's only child, you're the one everyone associates with warmth, safety, and tranquility—so it's profoundly unnerving to see you hurt. It's like there has been a crack in the very foundation of their house, and it sends them reeling to the very core of their bones.
The campfire is chillier without you. Even at the infirmary recovering, your presence is missed. The usual comfort lingering around the campfire ebbs and the gatherings by the fire are not the same. Campers draw closer to the fire but are sans the warmth they're so used to because of the absence of your quiet, calming energy.
Campers take it personally, at least the ones that know you well. The more battle-hardened demigods—the children of Ares and Athena among others—find themselves feeling an anger, rare and deep, toward whatever got to you. To them, you are this sort of symbol of the gentler side of camp life, and seeing you get hurt as some sort of attack on the very heart of what they are fighting so hard for.
Hermes' cabin is affected the most. Although they are normally known to be a playful bunch of kids playing pranks and pulling all sorts of mischievous antics, they're subdued when you're injured. They miss your soft laughter and how you always offered to help clean up after one of their more chaotic moments. They band together to make sure your cabin is looked after while recovering, as means to repay some of the comfort you've given to them in return.
The mood in the infirmary is grim, yet determined. Will Solace, the healer of the camp, treats you with extreme care; after all, your well-being means the world to the camp. He's stern and intent, rarely leaving his post, ensuring that you are receiving all the best possible care. The Apollo kids put in an all-out effort to heal you, aware that it will make a great deal of difference to the morale of others.
Your closest friends refuse to leave your side: duty-operated, that is, they get shifts sitting beside your bed, trying to keep things light-hearted, telling stories, or making quiet jokes. You know that deep inside they're worried, yet they know you will not like seeing their anxiety, and so they try maintaining the usual cast of characters for your benefit, even when it's hard to camouflage worry in their eyes.
Camp activities are much more subdued now. Training sessions and sparring matches are nowhere near as energetic, and even capture the flag is a little more subdued, less peppered with shouts and playful competitiveness. There's a sense among the campers that they should be more careful, like the idea of someone like you getting injured has made them all realize that they're vulnerable.
The other campers make up for your lack, though: Demeter children care for the garden you were always in charge of, the kids from Aphrodite make common places of the camp cozy to the possible extent, and so on and so forth. Everyone tries their best at keeping the spirits up at the camp while you are recovering, but they really do miss your personal touch.
People find themselves visiting the hearth more often, looking to the proximity of the fire somehow reuniting them with you as you are out of commission. They will sit at the flames, muttering their apprehensions with crackling wood, thus hoping it be heard by Hestia herself for your recovery.
Nico di Angelo is particularly distressed by your hurt. He's not foreign to loss, but he has always looked upon you as a sort of anchor-someone who reminded him of peaceful things in life. The thought of losing you is a fear he doesn't want to admit to himself, and he'll be haunting the infirmary more often than he'd like, just to make sure you are still all right.
Your recovery means normalcy returns very grudgingly. As you get well enough to start your work, the energy in camp starts to return in homeopathic doses. When you're finally ready to join the others around the fire, there's celebration: full of treats and stories as campers press close to the flames now, as if to make up for lost time. You stand for a more complete warmer experience with the feeling that one weight has been removed from everyone's shoulder.
Your injury leaves an indelible mark on the camp. After you have regained your health, demigods are more cautious in battles and less often take superfluous risks in them, as they are more aware of the price for that. At the same time, your recovery becomes a beacon of resilience and the campers feel a deeper bonding knowing they've been through a rough time together.

Crowned by Desire
Chapter 3
A/N = I almost forgot this existed...
Warning = dark, yandere, toxic relationships, kidnapping, violence, thunder, nicknames
Pairings = Greek Gods x reader
Summary = After meeting the mysterious lady, you find yourself an escape. But not from them, from the underworld.
Word count = 1.6k words
Taglist = @caged-birdies-blog
It had been a day or two since you had that conversation with the mysterious lady. Her words had been stuck in your head ever since then. There was something about her that you couldn’t quite place. You confirmed she didn’t have a threatening aura at all, but there was something strange about her presence alone. It was faint, almost like a chill that lingered even after she was gone.
She had spoken with calm certainty, yet something about the way she looked at you made you feel as if you were under a microscope. Her eyes seemed to see through you, as though she knew something you didn’t. You couldn’t shake the odd feeling.
It didn’t take long for 2… or 3 other guests to arrive. They caused quite a havoc too. You heard Cerberus barking and went out to see what was happening, only to be met with an… interesting scene.
You saw a group of 4 people, including the mysterious lady you saw the other day, backing away from Hades and Persephone. Hades had a weird… glowing stick in his hand and Persephone was staring at it in amazement.
“A-alright… we’re gonna go now…” a teenage boy stammered with his hand held out to keep a safe distance from the pair.
You watched from a distance, trying to make sense of the situation. What on earth (or rather, in the underworld) had just happened here?
You continued watching, trying to piece the events together. Nothing was making sense at all. Then, you saw Persephone swiftly take down Hades. You listened closely to their conversation.
“W-what…?” the same teenage boy mumbled. His eyes were filled with fear.
“Do you know how suffocating it is to be trapped in here?” Persephone spoke up, grabbing the glowing stick from Hades’s hands. “The only thing I ever wanted was to get out of here,”
The group backed away.
“And now… you guys…” she says in a condescending tone.
Somehow, almost instinctively, you threw yourself against her from behind. The force of your movement sent both of you tumbling to the ground. She let out a startled cry as she fell, her arms flailing in an attempt to steady herself, but it was no use.
The bolt from her hands fell onto the ground and the teenage boy quickly rushed to grab it.
You hit the ground hard, the impact worsening your senses. Scrambling to your knees, you looked over at her, expecting a fight. But to your surprise, she didn’t immediately lash out.
Instead, she groaned and slowly pushed herself up, turning her head to glare at you.
“What do you think you’re doing?” she hissed, her voice low but venomous.
“I—I…” Words caught in your throat as you tried to come up with an excuse, but you couldn’t. You had acted on pure instinct, and now you were left to deal with the consequences.
The air grew thick with tension as the two of you stared each other down. She brushed the dust off her dress, her eyes never leaving yours.
“Well?” she said, her tone dangerous now. “Do you have anything to say for yourself?”
“Well, I do,” the boy holding the bolt says before directing the bolt at her.
The weapon in his hands illuminated with an intense light, almost blinding, as if the storm itself had been summoned to the very spot. Its energy crackled and roared, the sound tearing through the air with deafening ferocity.
The thunderous charge shot from the bolt and to her, unrelentingly sending a thunder strike. She barely even had time to react, her eyes widening in shock as she instinctively raised her hands to shield herself, but it was of no use against the sheer force of the strike.
The ground trembled beneath your feet as the bolt connected, sending a shockwave that rippled through the surrounding area. Dust and debris swirled into the air.
When the light finally dimmed and the rumble subsided, you squinted through the settling haze, heart pounding in your chest.
“Holy shit.” you say breathlessly.
“That was insane.” the horned guy said, his hand extending as if he was explaining.
Then silence followed and none of you said anything, that was until you did. “So… Do we get to go home now?”
“No…” the teenager murmured. “We still have to return the bolt… but we also only have three of… these,” he mentions, showing three small orbs in his hand.
“What are those..?” you ask.
“They’re our ticket out of here, but we only have three,” he answers.
“Why’d you only bring three?” you interrogate, with an accusing tone. Though, you weren’t sure what you were accusing him of.
“We lost one on our way here,” the horned creature responded, gaze flickering back and forth from you and his friend.
“Well I’m not staying here,” you say, hands held up.
“Well then I don’t know!” he yells.
“Okay calm down, I’ll stay here. We just need one more person to stay here,” the mysterious lady from a few days prior.
“Wait… are you… the lady from a few days ago?” you ask, pointing your finger at her.
“Yes,” she replies, her voice soft.
“So… that’s Percy?” you point a finger at the teenager holding the bolt. “Fuck it, then I’ll stay here.”
“Wait, are you sure…?” the girl asks.
“Yes, I’ve endured much more of the Gods’ bullshit.” your tone harsher than you meant it to be.
And with that, the three kids leave you and Percy’s mother. The place grew silent, not one of you saying anything, and the two gods not having woken up yet either.
You had no plan for what would happen if they woke up. There was really nothing you could do to contain them, aside from hoping they stayed asleep no, knocked out.
Luckily, Cerberus had quieted down and retreated into the shadows, leaving only the sound of your breathing and the occasional crackle of the torches lighting the room.
You glanced at her, unsure what to say. Her expression was calm, almost too calm, as if she’d been in situations like this before.
“So,” you began, breaking the silence, “how long do you think we’ll be stuck here?”
She didn’t look at you when she replied, her voice steady but distant. “Long enough to wonder if it was the right choice.”
Her words hung in the air, and you weren’t sure if she was talking about her decision to stay or something else entirely. Either way, the waiting felt endless, and the weight of what came next hung over you.
Were you even going to escape? Luckily for you, those thoughts were cut short when you found yourself back in Olympus, gods standing in their seats as they watched you in the middle.
“Percy…?” you call out his name softly, looking around to find him.
“I’m here,” he replies, loud enough for you to hear.
You sat in the grand hall of Olympus, the weight of their gazes pressing down on you like a smothering blanket. It wasn’t an unfamiliar feeling anymore, but that didn’t make it any less oppressive. The gods didn’t need to speak to remind you of where you stood. Right beneath them.
Zeus lounged on his throne, his fingers idly tapping the armrest as he watched you. The casual amusement in his eyes made your stomach churn. “You’ve adjusted well enough,” he mused, his tone light but with an edge of condescension. “Better than I expected.”
“I didn’t exactly have a choice,” you muttered, keeping your gaze fixed on the marble floor.
He chuckled softly. “No, you didn’t.”
Hera’s hand trailed over your shoulder as she passed by, the touch deliberate and uncomfortably lingering. “Such defiance,” she murmured, almost fondly. “It’s charming, really. For now.”
Athena stood nearby, her sharp eyes appraising you like she was analyzing her favorite chess piece. “The defiance is irrelevant. What matters is utility.” She turned to Zeus with a faint smirk. “Though I will admit, their spirit is… entertaining.”
“Entertaining,” Apollo repeated with a grin, stepping closer. His golden aura was warm but stifling, like the heat of a sun too close for comfort. “I prefer captivating. And they are that, aren’t they?” He reached out, tilting your chin up with two fingers. “Still so lovely, even when they’re afraid. Don’t you agree, Hera?”
“They belong to us,” Hera said simply, her tone leaving no room for argument. She slid into her throne, her gaze never leaving you. “But it’s no surprise they would cling to you, Apollo. Mortals always mistake warmth for safety.”
“I don’t—” you began, but Poseidon’s deep voice cut through.
“Enough.” He didn’t raise his voice, but the word was final. He leaned forward, his sea-green eyes fixed on you. “You’ll learn soon enough not to speak out of turn.”
The room grew unbearably still. You swallowed hard, resisting the urge to shrink under the weight of their stares.
Hestia, the only one who seemed remotely kind, gave you a small, almost pitying smile. “It’s for your own good,” she said softly. “Fighting us will only make it harder for you. We’re here to care for you. That’s what families do.”
“Family?” you repeated bitterly. “This is far from family. This is insanity,”
The gods didn’t seem too satisfied with your wording, but they didn’t bother to entertain your ‘antics’.
“Well,” Zeus said, rising from his throne. He descended the steps slowly, his presence overwhelming. “You’re going to have to learn that you’re ours.”
He stopped just in front of you, his hand brushing a strand of hair from your face. “And no need to look so frightened,” he said, his voice a low purr. “You’re exactly where you’re meant to be.”
