Is it okay if I ask what type of s/o would the Gods be into? I find that really interesting and would like to hear your opinion since I really love your writing <3<3
This request came just right, bc I really want to write but I'm mad busy rn, and this was a lot of fun! so I kinda wrote for ... everyone.
If you're conventionally attractive, you are in Zeus' dating pool. You're exceptionally beautiful? I'm so sorry. Once he has set his eyes on you, you are not safe anywhere. There is no other factor that matters, except maybe if you're exceptionally hospitable and kind to guests, which might attract his attention. Which is not a good thing.
Poseidon would love someone unpredictable, someone who never gets boring and never fails to surprise him or catch him off guard. He'd love the excitement of it all and is generally pulled to exciting and outgoing people, but also people who are more introverted but break out of their shell at unexpected times.
If Hades had a type, it would for sure be someone a little more ... alive than him. He's clearly going for that opposites attract thing, just look at Persephone. Also, I reckon he'd like someone who can stand up for themselves, as standing up to his brothers was always very hard for him and he would admire you greatly for it.
Demeter would like someone who is humble, orderly and respectful and appreciative of the beauties of nature. Someone who finds joy in the little things and never fails to call their grandma for her birthday.
To be honest- you don't have a romantic chance with neither Hera nor Athena, Artemis or Hestia. Though I thought it would be fun to make some platonic headcanons for what kind of mortal they would take interest in in a platonic way.
Hera admires loyalty, it doesn't even have to be to a spouse, it can also be your family or friends. Also, she appreciates people who remain strong even in the face of long term hardships or anguish, and it might earn you her favor. It's not that she pities you, but that she admires your strength to keep fighting. Also, she'd love to talk shit about men with you as much as the next goddess...
Artemis isn't about the whole opposites attract thing. As with Orion, she is likely to make friends with someone who shares her interests, as she also surrounds herself with her huntresses. She loves to talk about hunting and the wild and would like someone who isn't afraid to get themselves dirty. If you're a guy, it's pretty hard to get in her good grades though.
Athena is all in for academic weapons. Critical thinkers, challenging the status quo and earning great archivements. Someone she could have an intellectual conversation with, who offers new points of argument and is able to hold their own in an argument, she is the goddess of warfare after all...
I don't think there is anyone Hestia doesn't like, though she would favor people who spend a lot of time with their family and are kind and hospitable to others. Kindness to strangers is something she very much appreciates.
Apollo doesn't really have a type. His mortal lovers are symbolic for his creative inspirations, so he would not settle for a type but be all over the board. The variety of his lovers concludes that Apollo isn't looking for a specific kind of person. He simply watches or spends time with someone and BAM he's completely and utterly in love. He does love himself an artsy spouse though.
Ares needs someone calm and peaceful- it might seem a little contradictory, but Ares needs someone to ground him, to listen to him and provide the calm for his storm. Actually, he's all for domesticity, though a hot love affair doesn't turn him away either. If his spouse had a strong personality and could stand up for themselves, he would really respect that, but he would also be your guard dog if that wasn't the case. Ares just needs someone to love him unconditionally, quite like the next god on the list.
Not to be disrespectful but Hephaestus does not care who you are, he's just happy with someone who treats him with dignity. Be kind to him and he is putty in your hands. After all his family put him through, he'd also appreciate someone to rant about them to, who can also sit in silent understanding with him at other times. But honestly, he isn't setting the bar very high.
Not to call her vain, but you would have to be insanely beautiful to be on Aphrodites radar. She simply considers herself too good to spend her time on anyone who isn't pleasing to her eye- and that really cuts down the pool of potential lovers. Also, she would only stay around for someone who is ready to give their full attention to her at all times, she is a very demanding lover.
I think Hermes would want someone who is able to keep up with him, but also root him when he overdoes it a little. It would take quite a lot for him to actually stick around, because for him to make time in his busy schedule, he'd have to be head over heels in love.
Dionysus would probably not have a specific type either, simply because he wouldn't want to cut short his dating pool. Though he would like someone who is able to let loose at least sometimes and surrender to his pull of madness and ecstasy.
Extra: Eros would mostly go for someone attractive, but he wouldn't let that be the only factor. Just as the unpredictable and surprising nature of his arrows, Eros could fall for anybody, picking out a trait he loves about them and obsessing over it for the day (I'm thinking 'Someone New' by Hozier if you know what I mean).

โ€œHoly shit, what was that Percy?!โ€ you half-whispered and screamed.
๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝIโ€™m sorry, Iโ€™m just trying to help you.โ€ he whispers, voice just as fiery as yours.
ย โ€œHelping? Youโ€™re going to get me in more trouble if youโ€™re not careful!โ€ you scold him like an older sister. Well, youโ€™re technically his stepmom if you think about it.
โ€œAlright, whatever. Letโ€™s just keep going!โ€ his annoyed voice says.
Slowly by slowly, you two crawl on the cold, ceramic ceiling tiles. Your hands were bruised and wounds were all over your hands from the sharp edges of the tiles. But you didnโ€™t care. As long as you got to be free, nothing else mattered. It didnโ€™t matter if you had to get injured, a few cuts on your hands were nothing.ย
You two trek on forward, looking for a safe way down. From the view in front of you, youโ€™d probably predict that it was around 1 or 2 AM in the morning. The sky was dark & gloomy, dusty grey clouds scattered through the sky.
โ€œHey,โ€ you call Percy. โ€œHow do we get down? Weโ€™re on the second floor,โ€
โ€œWith these,โ€ he says proudly as he pulls out a pair of winged shoes.
โ€œWhat are thoseโ€ฆโ€ you ask.
โ€œThey can fly, cโ€™mon. Iโ€™ll show you,โ€
Percy puts the shoes on, wings starting to come into life as his foot goes inside. A minute flash of magic is seen on the shoe, letting Percy levitate above the ground.
โ€œWoahhhh!โ€ you stare in amazement.
The teenage boy goes down with the pair of shoes and softly lands onto the luscious ground beneath. And you watch as the magical footwear flies back up towards you.
โ€œWeโ€™re so close! Cโ€™mon!โ€ Percy cheers you on.ย ย ย
You hesitated for a moment, staring at the winged shoes as they hovered in front of you. Could you really trust these things? What if they just broke mid-air, and sent you plummeting to your death? Then again, dying might be better than staying in that god-forsaken palace.
โ€œCโ€™mon Y/N, donโ€™t be scared! We have to go!โ€ Percy whisper-shouted from below.
โ€œShut up,โ€ you muttered, reaching for the shoes and slipping them on.ย
The moment your feet went inside, a strange sensation ran through your legs, it was like your body suddenly weighed nothing. The wings twitched, then flapped, and before you could even brace yourself, it lifted you off the ground.
โ€œWhoaโ€” whoaโ€” !โ€ You flailed your arms around in panic, nearly losing your balance as you hovered above the edge of the building.
โ€œRelax, just lean forward a little,โ€ Percy called, arms outstretched like he was ready to catch you if things went south.
You took a deep breath to prepare yourself before tilting forward just a bit to let it workโ€ฆ and suddenly, you were gliding in the air. The wind rushed past your face, cool and freeing, so wildly different from the suffocating air of the palace. Your heart pounded against your chest, but for the first time in a while, it wasnโ€™t from fear.
You reached the ground, stumbling slightly as you landed, but Percy caught your arm before you could fall.
โ€œWe did it,โ€ you breathed, glancing up at the palace looming above. You half expected alarms to start blaring, for divine wrath to strike you down for even daring to leave. But the night remained still.
โ€œYeah,โ€ Percy grinned. โ€œNow we run.โ€
And you did. Neither of you looked back.
โ€”
It had been a few hours since you two started running, and you had no idea where you were nor what time it was. All you saw was arrays of trees before you, covering anything and everything, only a dark sky seen above.
โ€œHeyโ€ฆ so uhm, do you actually have a plan?โ€ you decide to ask. Honestly, youโ€™re the dumb one for trusting a teenage boy.
โ€œN-noโ€ฆโ€ the words came out of his mouth and it felt like your world shattered.
No, you couldnโ€™t blame a minor but then it was also his fault for giving false hope. But on that pretense, everything worked out well for the boy right? It should work out fine for you too.
โ€œYouโ€™re kidding,โ€ you deadpanned, stopping in your tracks.
Percy winced. โ€œLook, I justโ€” I got you out, didnโ€™t I? That was the hard part.โ€
โ€œOh, yeah, totally. The hard part was escaping literal gods. Not the fact that they can track us down at any second and drag me right back.โ€ You threw your hands in the air. โ€œFantastic plan, seaweed brain.โ€
โ€œHey, donโ€™t call me thatโ€”โ€
โ€œThen have a plan next time!โ€ you snapped. You could feel the panic creeping in, your breath coming faster as you glanced at the thick woods surrounding you. The cold night air did nothing to stop the sweat forming at the back of your neck. Theyโ€™d find you. Theyโ€™d find you, and when they didโ€”
Percy mustโ€™ve noticed your spiraling thoughts because thatโ€™s when he grabbed your wrist. โ€œWeโ€™ll figure something out,โ€ he said, voice softer and way more comforting now. โ€œThereโ€™s a safe house not too far from here. We just gotta keep moving.โ€
You exhaled, forcing yourself to nod. Keep moving. Right.
Together, you pushed forward through the woods, your steps quick but careful. Every snapped twig sent a fresh wave of paranoia through you, every gust of wind felt like someone breathing down your neck.
Then, the sound of somethingโ€” someoneโ€” rustling in the trees stopped you dead in your tracks.
Percy went still beside you, hand moving toward Riptide.
A voice, low and amused, echoed through the trees.
โ€œYou really thought you could run from us?โ€
The moment you turned to run, a force slammed into you, knocking the air from your lungs. You hit the ground hard, dirt and leaves sticking to your skin as you struggled, but it was useless. Their hands were way too strong, too unyielding. They grabbed at your wrists, yanking them behind your back. Cold metal wrapped around them, clicking into place. Shackles. Again.
โ€œReally now?โ€ A familiar voice sighed above you. โ€œYouโ€™d think after the millionth time, youโ€™d learn. Mortals really are stupid.โ€
A firm grip pulled you up to your knees, and as your vision cleared, you found yourself face to face with Apollo. He crouched before you, golden eyes burning like the damn sun. Except this wasnโ€™t his usual, playful warmthโ€” no, this was blazing anger barely masked behind his lazy smirk.
โ€œBringing you back is starting to get exhausting, little dove,โ€ he said, voice honeyed with amusement, but the sharp edge beneath it made you shiver. โ€œYou keep running, and we keep having to chase you. Do you have any idea how tiring that is?โ€
Behind him, you caught glimpses of the others. Artemis stood with her arms crossed, eyes colder than the night air. Hermes was nearby, shaking his head like a disappointed older brother. Even Hades was here this time, his presence heavier than a storm cloud, gaze unreadable as he loomed over you.
Percy was nowhere to be seen. They mustโ€™ve separated you twoโ€ฆ again.
Ares scoffed, stepping closer. โ€œIf you want a fight, sweetheart, at least win for once.โ€ His fingers gripped your chin, tilting your face up. โ€œPathetic.โ€ he says as he pushes your head away with one swift flick of his wrist.
You jerked your head away, glaring. โ€œIf you hate chasing me so much, let me go.โ€
A sharp laugh cut through the air. Hera. She approached with the slow grace of a queen, swirling wine in a glass as if this was all some casual entertainment for her.
โ€œOh, darling,โ€ she murmured, crouching to your level. โ€œYou are ours. Why would we ever let you go?โ€
Your stomach twisted as she gently brushed a strand of hair from your face, her touch feather-light but suffocating.
โ€œThis little rebellion of yours is getting boring,โ€ Hermes added, sighing dramatically. โ€œYou donโ€™t even make it fun anymore.โ€
You gritted your teeth, yanking at the chains around your wrists. โ€œGo to hell.โ€
Apollo only chuckled. โ€œBeen there, babe. Hades wasnโ€™t a fan.โ€
The god in question shot him a look before returning his attention to you. โ€œThis needs to end.โ€
For a moment, silence hung in the air. Then, Hera spoke again, her voice softer this time.
โ€œWeโ€™ve been patient with you.โ€ Her fingers trailed down your cheek, almost gentle. โ€œBut patience has limits, my love.โ€
Your breath hitched as her nails lightly scraped against your skin, her tone shifting into something darker, something dangerous.
โ€œI think itโ€™s time,โ€ she murmured, tilting her head, โ€œthat we teach you what happens when our little dove forgets her place.โ€
โ€”
Okay, by โ€œlessonโ€, you didn't expect to be shackled to a bed andโ€ฆ for your clothes to be torn away, leaving you naked in front of their eyes.
It wasnโ€™t your first time being forced like this, but it was your first time doing it with multiple of them.
โ€œNo! No! Wait, please can we rethink this?โ€ you ask as you shuffle roughly against the metal restraints.
โ€œRethink? Oh honey, weโ€™re done rethinking it and this is our final decision.โ€ Heraโ€™s voice speaks up.
You opened your mouth wanting to argue back, but instead those arguments were quickly muffled once Apolloโ€™s lips crashed yours. His tongue was swirling inside of your mouth, desperately wanting to taste you.ย
โ€œMMFFF!โ€ You let out a muffled protest, thrashing against the restraints.
Apollo didnโ€™t care though. If anything, your resistance only seemed to excite him more. His lips moved hungrily against yours, tongue sweeping through your mouth as if he could devour you whole. His hands cupped your face, firm yet possessive, keeping you locked in place as he deepened the kiss.
The others watched, their gazes heavy with amusement and something darker. You tried to turn your head away, but Apollo chased after your lips, refusing to let you escape even for a second.
โ€œYou still fight,โ€ Zeus mused, arms crossed as he leaned back lazily. โ€œHow adorable.โ€
โ€œGive her time,โ€ Aphrodite cooed, tilting her head as she observed you with an almost pleased expression. โ€œSheโ€™ll learn to submit. They always do.โ€
Apollo finally pulled away, a thin string of saliva connecting your lips as he gazed down at you, his golden eyes burning with desire. He swiped a thumb across your lower lip, smirking when you flinched.
โ€œYou taste so much better than before, is it because of the situation?โ€ he murmured, voice dripping with satisfaction. โ€œIt almost makes me want to keep you all to myself.โ€
A sharp chuckle came from Ares. โ€œAs if weโ€™d let that happen.โ€
Your breath came in shallow pants, your mind spinning from the force of the kiss. Every part of you screamed to resist, to push back, to fightโ€ฆ but the gods around you werenโ€™t just powerful. They were patient. And that was far, far more terrifying.
You barely had time to re-catch your composure before you felt a hard cock being pressed against your slit. You look downwards to see Apollo excitedly rubbing his hot, pink tip against your glistening folds.ย
Slowly, and painfully, he slid it inside you. You squirmed against the shackles on your wrists as the friction started to become unbearable. You werenโ€™t lubed at all, it was dry and rough andโ€”
โ€œF-fuckโ€ฆ!โ€. Apollo roughly pushed his whole member inside you unexpectedly, earning a loud shriek from you.
As Apollo claimed you in front of them, the air in the room grew thick with something possessive, territorial. The other gods watched, their expressions ranging from dark amusement to barely restrained jealousy.
Zeus leaned back in his chair, fingers messing with the bulge around his pants as gaze bore into you, intense and heavy. He was a king used to getting what he wanted, and right now, he was watching something he believed belonged to him.
You closed your eyes in desperation, trying to block out the reality of the situation. Then, you felt someone grab your chinโ€ฆ and something pressing against your lips.ย
You open your eyes to see who it is. Itโ€™s Hermes.
โ€œOpen up,โ€ he says as he glared down towards you, practically towering over you.
And on command, you do.ย
This is going to be a long nightโ€ฆ or nights.

Yandere main 6 x reader (headcanons)
--
you were a mortal that the siblings had met after Zeus freed them from their father's clutches. Zeus who met you only weeks before while travelling through the mortal realm plotting against his father, brought his injured siblings to you for help nursing them back to health for the upcoming battle (and as an excuse to see you again).
needless to say, you were slightly in shock when a traveller whom you thought was a simple mortal, returned to your home with 5 of his godly siblings with him.
Hera and Demeter mostly ignored you at first, talking amongst themselves or Zeus to plot against Kronos. Hestia and Poseidon were the polite ones of the group, always helping clean up after meals and thanking you for helping them.
Zeus remained as he was before finding his siblings, flirting with you at any given moment and making slight touches that he claimed were 'accidental'. But before he could have too much fun, one of his siblings usually pulled him away.
after they had defeated Kronos and slowly began their path to destroying the rest of the Titans they left your home to live on Olympus, though they still returned on their own to visit you and mostly plead for you to come live on Olympus with them since it was too dangerous for you all alone in the mortal realm, now that the other titans knew that you had helped them.
Each time you denied their offers, they would act as if they didn't care, but inside, they were seething. How could you not realize they were only trying to protect you?
eventually if you deny them enough they wont give you a choice but to come with them, whether its poseidon bringing a flood to your home, or demeter growing poisonous spores in the village near by to scare you away.
once they manage to get you on Olympus, they slowly begin manipulating you into drinking ambrosia, becoming immortal like them. they say its to protect you so that you'll have a way to defend yourself, but really it's so that they won't lose you to old age or any other mortal weakness.
after you reluctantly agree and become immortal, they start showing some of their more true feelings, becoming more forceful or flirty at times dragging you around and trying to steal your attention from each other.
when Zeus and Hera begin having children of their own Hera practically leashes you to her, claiming she needed help caring for them, much to the disliking of her siblings.
as Zeus slowly begins straying from Hera, having other children with his mistresses you were pulled away by Hestia who wanted to keep you away from their fights, jealous by this Demeter slowly moved her way in, forcing her sister to share your time with her.
as the years went on and Olympus expanded, their obsessions slowly deepened, some hiding their jealousy well and others, causing a scene if anyone dared speak to you.
after the battle with Typhon when Zeus and Hera cheated Hades and Poseidon out of the elusynium stone with the claim that Zeus was the strongest of the three (but really it was a ploy to keep you with them), they declared that you would remain on Olympus since there was no way that you would thrive in the sea or underworld.
as soon as Hades and Poseidon had left for their new realms, and Demeter and Hestia had decided to keep to themselves to focus on their own duties to the mortals, you were left to Zeus and Hera.
they quickly took your hand in marriage, even if you disagreed with it, you were theirs and no one would change that. even if it meant fighting and betraying their siblings to keep it that way.

Their favorite thing about you (DLH)
Ares:
Tumblr media
Your eyes.
He loves your eyes, because that's how he met you. You were just one more small human of the thousands who came to ask for his intervention, one more and that's it. At first glance you didn't have anything special and a god shouldn't be attracted to you the way Ares was.
But no other god had seen what he saw in your eyes (or else a war would have been fought on Olympus for you by now). It wasn't just the beautiful color of your orbs, but the way they glowed with intense passion, deep rage, and endless bravery, that finally made the god of war fall for you. Even today, so many years later, Ares loves looking into your eyes, where there is still an intense fire that he knows will never fade.
Athena:
Tumblr media
Your curiosity.
The goddess was used to receiving thousands of questions and pleas for help from mortals, who in these more modern days used to come to her only as a kind of living encyclopedia.
But you didn't. In fact, she had never even seen you set foot in her temple before. You were a completely different creature, full of curiosity about all the creation of the world, everything was fascinating to you, and she loved your questions, especially the simple ones, because they didn't come from a need beyond the simple fact of wanting to learn. It was something the world needed, and she was willing to protect you for it.
Arce:
Tumblr media
Your patience.
She knew, she was more than aware, that she was not the best partner, especially for a mortal like you. She carried too many wounds, from a time when humanity didn't even exist, wounds that even other immortal beings didn't want to deal with.
But you do. You had opened for her not only the doors of your house, but of your life, you had welcomed her and accompanied her, you had taken care of her and, for the first time in centuries, she thought that perhaps healing was coming her way. Arce didn't want to exhaust you, after all, the wounds of a being like her were too big and heavy for a mortal, but your infinite patience gave her hope that you would at least stay with her for as long as your finite lifetime allowed you.
Demeter:
Tumblr media
Your laughter.
She is the goddess of the harvest, she creates life wherever she goes. Strong and imposing trees, flowers more beautiful than the stars, unique and precious plants. But all that, paled and remained small before the perfection that was your laugh.
Demeter loved that sound, he loved the way your eyes and nose crinkled, how you showed your perfect teeth, how your stomach bounced slightly with the force of your joy. It was the sound of life, and she swore to protect it until time took it to infinity and the silence of death replaced it.
Hestia:
Tumblr media
Your nose.
Listen, she's a simple goddess, okay? Does she like something? It's hers, period. And that goes for your beautiful and perfect nose too. Don't ask why of all your beautiful face that's her favorite part, just accept that you're going to have a very amused goddess pressing it like a little round button at all hours.
Hestia also loves your brilliance and sense of humor, which usually helps enhance her blackmailing pranks on the other gods, but that's another story.
Hades:
Tumblr media
Your hands.
Hades loved your hands, not just because of how beautiful they were or how soft your skin was, but because of everything they represented to him. He was the god of death, he was used to ending things, destroying them, reducing them to nothing. But you? you created, you used your hands to bring new objects and ideas to life, you were the opposite of him and that never ceased to amaze him.
He loved your touches too, of course. He was used to the tedious humid heat of the underworld, the kind that is terribly unbearable, that makes you sweat and your clothes stick to your body. But you had shown him another kind of warmth, a soft and gentle one, that ran through his body like a calm light every time you caressed his cheek or took his hand.
Despena:
Tumblr media
Your kindness.
It is not a secret to anyone that the goddess tended to be reserved and quiet, like a shadow that no one spoke to if it was not necessary. That is why she appreciated your warm and compassionate heart. She loved to see you interact with other beings, because your words, your gestures and movements were always charged with a deep love and respect for life.
After centuries of living in her sister's shadow, of being ignored by her mother no matter how hard she tried to be the best supporting goddess for her, Despena appreciated your kindness knocking on her door, showing her that she didn't need to be better than anyone, just be the best version of herself.
Hermes:
Tumblr media
Your calmness.
As the herald of the gods and the fastest god on Olympus, Hermes was used to a hectic, fast-paced life with chaos always following him wherever he went. That's why it was a huge surprise to everyone when he introduced you as his partner, because you were the complete opposite of him.
However, it took Apollo and Athena only a couple of minutes to realize why Hermes loved you so much. You were perfect for him, precisely because you balanced him, because in the midst of all his chaos, you were always standing there, ready to be the immovable pillar, the security and stability that he needed so much. It didn't matter if you treated him like a little boy from time to time, he loved it.
Hecate:
Tumblr media
Your hair.
It might sound simple and almost comical right? That the goddess of magic, someone who could create absolutely anything with the snap of her fingers, would be so fascinated by something as simple and vain as mortal hair.
But it was precisely that simplicity that drew her. Hecate was aware of the wonders she could do and why mortals came to her daily, but that you let her play with your hair allowed her to anchor herself to the world, to the fact that she could be more than magic, that's why she loved so much spending hours brushing it while you worked your own magic on her, the simple one that only required a smile and a cup of tea.
Hela:
Tumblr media
Your vitality.
She was used to the cold of Helheim, to the thousands of lamentations of the souls in pain and to the feeling of loneliness that always nestled in her chest. That's why she loved so much when you went to visit her.
You were always smiling, you were always happy, your voice traveled to the last corner of the gloomy place and your presence seemed to radiate a warm and comforting light, the souls seemed serene and almost happy while they played with you. You were life itself arriving at the place of death, and Hela loved you for it, enough to push the fear of the day that light went out to the back of her mind.

Telemachus x blessed by Hestia reader
Chapter one : a warmth like home
His first memories of her were vague, nothing more than a drop in the ocean of his memory. However, she had found her way into his head and never left.ย
Telemachus was only a child when he first saw her, on that dry winter's day. He was still too young to see the true nature of the men who invaded the palace of Ithaca. To see the damage Demeter's grief was causing. Yet the young prince often heard the maids speak of her, in whispers and gossip. "Child of the hearth", "gift of the gods", "guardian of the fire". So many words used to describe a little girl, seeming rather to evoke something divine.ย
The courtiers were like a poison that gradually spread to every corner of Ithaca. The children's laughter had fallen silent, replaced by loud mockery. The corridors, once lit by the soft glow of the sun, were now dirty and desolate. Odysseus seemed to have taken the soul of his island with him when he left for Troy.ย
Antinous had had far too much to drink tonight, and the encouragement of his companions only made him madder. Telemachus, sitting at his mother's feet, felt his anger increase with every obscenity he shouted. He, a little boy, could respect his mother, the graceful Penelope of Sparta. So why did men claiming to be courting her turn up every night and harass her like this?
The clamor of the men grew louder with each passing second, like the howling of a wolf pack before a hunt. The maids left discreetly, their heads lowered, and Telemachus felt the courage of his young heart flicker like a flame in the wind. Suddenly, a menacing silhouette detached itself from the group of men. The glow of the torches reflected off his dark skin, and his red tunic evoked the blood he so loved to spill in countless fights. He approached Penelope slowly, each step testing her, preparing to seize her. But the Queen remained dignified, silently weaving on, now carrying the King's honor on her shoulders.ย
It wasn't the first time Antinous was trying to force her, unfortunately, far from it.ย
Antinous stopped in front of Penelope, letting out a mocking laugh before sighing:
"Let's see, Queen of Ithaca. The King's been gone for 5 years already and you're still thinking about him? So let me...... discover what old Odysseus loved so much".
In an impulse of indignation, Telemachus stood up, his little face taut with anger. This man was leading those who were destroying his life, his home, his father's dignity, and he dared to speak of his mother like a common whore?
"Shut up! My mom deserves better than you! "
The words, fiery with passion, had escaped the young prince's mouth before he could think any further. Under normal circumstances, when Antinous was sober, he would have mocked Telemachus' words, would have launched the other courtiers into countless taunts. But alcohol destroyed his thoughts, fueled the fire in his soul.ย
Antinous grabbed a handful of Telemachus' hair, his eyes wide and his mouth forming a menacing sneer. Penelope had stopped her work, frozen at the sight of her son being manhandled in this way, the way her child was threatened. She should have intervened, had to intervene, but that would only make the situation more difficult.ย
Telemachus let out a small yelp of pain, a veil of tears covering his eyes as he tried to remove Antinous' fingers from his soft black locks. Antinous simply tightened his grip with a sneer and exclaimed:
"My companions! Who thinks the little prince deserves to learn a lesson the hard way? "
But before anyone could reply, a soft voice was heard:ย
"Stop right there Antinous....."
Telemachus turned his head with difficulty towards the origin of the sound. And his heart raced when he saw her, with a mixture of fear and curiosity. A child, hidden by a long crimson cloak, was playing with an old stray cat by the fire . The fabric of her cape was covered with flames embroidered in gold thread, and her worn leather sandals had orange straps. But it was when she revealed her face that the Prince's heart stopped. Her eyes were the color of flames, two orbs blending yellow, orange and red in perfect harmony.ย
Some courtiers, annoyed by her intervention, moved towards her, joined by Melanthius and Antinous. The two chatted for a brief moment before Melanthius rushed towards the little girl, raising his hand to slap her across the face.ย
She didn't seem bothered at all, preferring to clean the ashes that had accumulated on the cat's paws before declaring, "You, who have so abused Xenia, Melanthius, slapping an envoy of the gods will not appease Lord Zeus's resentment towards you." These simple words were enough to unsettle the courtiers, who all calmed down and returned to their usual huddle. Even Antinous returned to his seat, giving him a nasty look as he passed by her.
When night fell and Telemachus was ready to sleep, snuggled against his mother's chest, a question crossed his mind.
In a tiny voice, he whispered, "Mom? Why was Antinous afraid of the girl? And who is she?" A long silence passed before Penelope answered in a weary voice, her fingers tracing the branches of the olive tree that served as her bed.
With a deep sigh, she declared, "It's....a Girl blessed by Hestia Hestia. We found her asleep amidst the ashes, a few days after your father left. She's your age, and honestly, that child is a true angel. Antinous is afraid of her because she plays at scaring him, but what you saw of her isn't her true personality, far from it..."
Telemachus let out a soft sigh of admiration, his sleepy mind wandering into a world of ideas about this girl blessed by Hestia. With a mischievous smile, he looked at his mother and exclaimed, "She must be as strong as Achilles!"
Penelope let out a laugh as he ruffled her hair and replied, "It is true that she possesses more humility and patience than that great warrior..."
This answer satisfying him, Telemachus snuggled up to his mother again, and before closing his eyes, muttered, "Tomorrow, I will go see her to ask her to play... and tell herthat her eyes are beautiful..."

Hiii!
I just recently saw your PJO fanfics about Nico and I loved them.
And I also noticed the severe lack of PJO x male reader fics in general. So I was hoping if you could write a fanfic with son of Demeter reader x Percy Jackson. (Can be a fanfic or just headcannons ur choice)
You don't have to do this request but it would be nice ^-^
Alright ty for listening to my Ted talk
Wildflower (Percy Jackson x Son of Demeter)
Thanks for the request :) You really had me dig out my books to remember how Demeter was portrayed, and surprisingly, she's kind, so it wasn't much trouble doing this request. It seems I got carried away, so I hope you enjoy!
tags: fluff, some angst, overprotective Demeter, who knows who your father is, headcanon and fanfic, mentions of calypso, break up/make up
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Being a son of Demeter is a big deal. Because although she wasn't a virgin like Artemis or Hestia, it was rather difficult for a mortal to catch her attention. So not only are you a demigod but also cursed (lucky) to be a descendent of such an esteemed goddess.
Compared to other campers, you don't hate your godly parent. Sure, your mom is absent for many things and your memories of her are rather scarce, but, on the flip side, you are made aware of just how much your mother loves you. Afterall, you are her youngest child and she must keep an eye on you.
So, when news reaches her that you've begun dating Percy Jackson, she grows overprotective. What do you expect? After the whole fiasco with your sister, Persephone, she wants the best for her son. So expect the goddess to keep an eye on you two.
Percy doesn't mind your mother's overbearingness. In fact, it reminds him of his own mother. However, this doesn't mean that Percy is reckless. Demeter might be kind, but inquiring her wrath was stupid. So, he's extra careful and strives to show respect to the goddessโ€”never stepping on flowers, always keeping a respectful distance from sacred plants, and treating every piece of nature as if Demeter herself is watching.
It takes some time, but your mother comes around. In fact, she's pleased you found someone 'worthy' of your affections. This might or might not have something to do with the fact that Percy has begun helping you tend a garden dedicated to her. Growing flowers known to be sacred to Demeter, like poppies and wheat. They work on it together, Percyโ€™s hands clumsy but earnest.
Not everything in your relationship is easy. There are times, winter and fall especially, when your mood is foul and Percy is no help at all. His recklessness and impulsivity always ticks you off, but none more so when he keeps secrets from you. Like how Calypso kissed him before departing Ogygia.
The moment you saw him walking down the hill, something was off. He had that nervous look in his sea-green eyes, the one he got when he was about to face something dangerousโ€”only this time, it was you. You crossed your arms, trying to root yourself in place, like your mother, Demeter, had taught you. But the anger simmering inside made that hard.
Percy reached you, giving a half-hearted smile. โ€œHey, Iโ€”โ€
โ€œYou kissed her?โ€ Your words cut through the air like a sharp gust of wind.
Percy blinked, looking caught off guard. โ€œWhat? No, itโ€™s not like thatโ€”โ€
โ€œDonโ€™t lie to me, Percy.โ€ You felt your fists tighten, your connection to the earth deepening as the grass beneath your feet curled and twisted with your emotions. โ€œYou let her kiss you, didnโ€™t you?โ€
His brows furrowed, and he stepped closer. โ€œIt wasnโ€™t like that. Calypso wasโ€”she was saying goodbye. It wasnโ€™tโ€ฆI didnโ€™t want to hurt her.โ€
โ€œYou didnโ€™t want to hurt her?โ€ You repeated, the words feeling bitter on your tongue. โ€œWhat about me? Or did you think I wouldnโ€™t find out?โ€
Percy exhaled sharply, rubbing the back of his neck, clearly frustrated. โ€œI was stuck on her island. I didnโ€™t ask to be there! She kissed me because she had to say goodbye to something she couldnโ€™t keep. It wasnโ€™t my choice.โ€
You laughed, but it was bitter, like the taste of dry soil. โ€œMaybe not, but you didnโ€™t stop her either.โ€
Percyโ€™s eyes flashed with frustration, the seaโ€™s storm brewing behind them. โ€œCome on, thatโ€™s not fair!โ€ he snapped, his voice rising above the whispering trees. โ€œI was stuck on a cursed island, not on some vacation! What was I supposed to do? Tell her no? I didnโ€™t exactly have a lot of options.โ€
You took a step back, the sting of his words making your chest tighten. But anger pushed you forward again, overriding any hint of reason. โ€œNo, whatโ€™s unfair is me thinking you were gone, Percy!โ€ Your voice cracked, but you didnโ€™t care. The pain had to come out somehow. โ€œI waited here for weeks, wondering if this was the quest that would take you away from me forever. Did you even think once of me while you were away? Or was Calypso the only thing on your mind?โ€
Percy opened his mouth, but for a moment, no words came out. The guilt that flashed across his face was brief, but it was there, plain as day. โ€œOf course I thought of you,โ€ he said, his voice softer now, though still tinged with frustration. โ€œI thought about you every single day. But I was stuck on that island with no way out. It wasnโ€™t about wanting to be with her. I was just trying to survive.โ€
โ€œAnd thatโ€™s supposed to make it okay?โ€ You could feel the vines creeping up again, brushing against your ankles like a reminder of everything you were trying to hold in. โ€œYou were trapped; I get that. But a kiss, Percy? Do you know how that sounds?โ€
โ€œI didnโ€™t want this to happen,โ€ he whispered, his voice softer now, almost pleading. โ€œI didnโ€™t mean to hurt you.โ€
You looked away, blinking back the sting of tears you refused to let him see. โ€œWell, you did.โ€
The silence between you was heavy, thicker than any storm. Percy stared at you, guilt and regret etched into every line of his face. โ€œI donโ€™t know how to fix this,โ€ he said, almost to himself.
You swallowed hard, forcing the lump in your throat down. โ€œI donโ€™t either, but right now, I need to figure out if I even want to.โ€
To say Demeter was mad at Percy is an understatement. The goddess's wrath casted a dark cloud over Camp Half-Blood that left even the bravest demigods feeling uneasy. Percy found himself stuck inside his cabin, trapped by an invisible force of nature, the very flora that usually thrived in the camp now threatening to attack him.
Not even Poseidon, the god of the sea, could ease some of Demeterโ€™s anger. He tried to vouch for Percy and his love for you, yet the mere mention of Percy's name caused your mother to shake the ground beneath him. That was the first and last time he meddled in your affairs.
The campers were worried for both of youโ€”the fight had clearly affected everyone, their agriculture suffering greatly, but they truly believed you guys were it. So it pained them to see the perfect couple at the verge of going seperate ways.
It was Annabeth who managed to get you two to talk things through. With her acting as the mediator, you three were locked inside a room and forced to speak about your feelings. Looking back, it was comical how it closely resembled marriage counseling.
The room felt thick with tension, every breath heavy as if weighed down by the unspoken emotions swirling between you, Percy, and Annabeth. You sat on the edge of the worn-out couch, legs bouncing anxiously, eyes fixed on the floor as if the threadbare carpet held the answers you desperately sought. Percy was beside you, close but not close enough. The usual warmth of his presence felt distant, and though you could sense his guilt radiating off him, it wasnโ€™t enough to bridge the gap.
Annabeth stood before you both, arms crossed over her chest, her expression a blend of sympathy and frustration. She was here as a mediator, but even the daughter of Athena couldnโ€™t easily navigate this emotional minefield. โ€œLetโ€™s just go over the events,โ€ she said, trying to keep her voice steady. She turned to Percy, urging him to explain. โ€œWhat led to the kiss?โ€
Percy sighed deeply, running a hand through his unruly hair as he gathered his thoughts. โ€œCalypso gave me some itemsโ€”supplies, foodโ€”and made sure the raft was stable enough to withstand the oceanโ€™s currents. I was grateful; sheโ€™d done so much to help me. So, I turned to say goodbye and thank her when sheโ€ฆwhen she suddenly kissed me.โ€ He glanced at you, his eyes pleading. โ€œM/N, please believe me when I say that I didnโ€™t reciprocateโ€”I didnโ€™t want it.โ€
You finally looked up, eyes locking onto his with an intensity that made him flinch. โ€œThatโ€™s not the problem, Percy,โ€ you said, your voice surprisingly calm but laced with hurt. โ€œWhat hurt me was that you didnโ€™t push her away, that she thought you were interested enough to even try.โ€
You paused, swallowing the lump in your throat as you tried to keep your composure. โ€œDuring your time on Ogygia, did you ever once mention that you had a boyfriend? Did you ever think of me when you were with her?โ€
Percyโ€™s eyes widened in panic, the hurt in your words cutting deeper than any monsterโ€™s blade ever could. He reached out, but his hand fell short, hovering between you as if afraid to cross the fragile line that now separated you two. Desperation filled his voice as he finally spoke, each word trembling with urgency and raw honesty.
โ€œI did tell her,โ€ Percy blurted, his voice cracking. โ€œGods, I talked about you all the time. From the moment I set foot on that island, I told Calypso about you. Every single day. I told her how you were waiting for me, how you were my anchorโ€”my reason for fighting and my reason I couldnโ€™t stay with her. She knew, M/N. She knew you were my everything.โ€ He ran a hand over his face, trying to hold back the tears that were threatening to spill.
Annabethโ€™s expression softened as she glanced at you, silently urging you to listen. Percyโ€™s words were coming from the heart, and even she couldnโ€™t deny the sincerity in his voice. But the pain in your eyes remained.
โ€œWhen I first got there, I was barely conscious,โ€ Percy continued, his voice softer now, tinged with a mix of sorrow and desperation. โ€œI was so beaten up, so tired, and all I could do was mumble your name. Over and over, even in my sleep. She heard me say itโ€”Calypso heard me calling out for you, asking for you.โ€ He paused, swallowing hard. โ€œShe knew there was someone else. She knew how much I loved you. I made it clear, but I didnโ€™t push her away fast enough. I was stupid, and Iโ€™m so sorry.โ€
You felt your heart twist at his confession, the image of Percy lying on that distant shore, broken and alone, but still calling out for you. It was the kind of story you had dreamed about beforeโ€”the hero fighting impossible odds, returning home to the one he loved. But now, hearing it from his lips, the romance was stripped away, leaving only the raw truth of a mistake made in a vulnerable moment.
Annabeth cleared her throat, trying to diffuse the tension, but even she seemed at a loss. โ€œLook,โ€ she said gently, โ€œwhat matters now is where you go from here. You two have been through worse together. If you still want thisโ€”if you still want each otherโ€”then youโ€™ll find a way.โ€
Percy reached out again, hesitantly, his fingers brushing against yours. โ€œIโ€™m not perfect, M/N. I screw up, and I hurt you, but I want to make this right. I love you, and Iโ€™ll spend every day proving it if youโ€™ll let me.โ€
Even if you forgive Percy, you take baby steps to rebuild your trust. You agree to talk more openly about your feelings and avoid keeping secrets from one another. Percy goes out of his way to make you feel valued, leaving you notes, planning small dates, and constantly reminding you how much you mean to him.
Percy knows he didn't only need to seek forgiveness from you, but your mother. To truly show his commitment, he request a chance to speak to the goddess. Itโ€™s terrifyingโ€”facing the goddessโ€™s wrath head-on๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝbut he humbly apologizes and explains how deeply he loves you, promising to never let you feel sidelined again. Demeter doesnโ€™t forgive easily, but she appreciates Percyโ€™s bravery and sincerity, granting her reluctant approval with a warning not to hurt her son again.
To solidify his commitment, Percy organizes a surprise picnic in the strawberry fieldsโ€”your favorite spot. Itโ€™s filled with your favorite foods, and Percy shyly presents a flower crown he made himself, though itโ€™s a little uneven. Itโ€™s simple but heartfelt, symbolizing his renewed promise to always cherish you.
After reconciling, you and Percy start talking about your future together, beyond Camp Half-Blood. You both decide that New Rome is the perfect place to build a life after everything youโ€™ve been through. The idea of living among other demigods and having a peaceful life feels like a dream finally within reach.
The move to New Rome is filled with excitement and nerves. You find a cozy apartment together, and even simple things like grocery shopping or decorating the space feel like small adventures. Itโ€™s a fresh start, and every day feels like youโ€™re building something new, hand in hand.
One evening after a particularly good dayโ€”whether itโ€™s celebrating an exam passed or simply enjoying each otherโ€™s companyโ€”Percy gets down on one knee. He doesnโ€™t have a grand speech prepared; he just tells you how much you mean to him and how he canโ€™t imagine a life without you. The ring is simple, with a small gemstone that reminds you of the sea, and you say yes without hesitation.
Surrounded by your friends from Camp Half-Blood and New Rome, you and Percy get married in a beautiful ceremony filled with flowers and ocean-themed decorations. Demeter attends, blessing the union with flourishing blooms, a sign of her approval and happiness for you both. The ceremony is intimate, filled with laughter, tears, and the undeniable feeling that youโ€™ve both found your forever.

Fem Mortal Reader x Yandere Hestia, but the reader isn't a pushover.
:)
yandere! Hestia x fem! mortal! Reader - โ™ก general hcs
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
warnings -> none....it's hestia...actually, slight clinginess??
paring/s -> yandere! Hestia x mortal! fem! reader (gender of the reader isn't mentioned or relevant tbh)
a/n -> rising from my grave to finish this
โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”
-> meeting her as a mortal means that you're probably gonna meet her in your fireplace
-> the most likely scenario is that you had just faced one of the worst heartbreaks in your lifeโ€” losing a family member, a regular breakup, whatever
-> Hestia, being who she is, would probably not be able to bear the sight of someone in pain, guiding the fire to warm you up, flames flickering up towards you as if in a comforting manner
-> her presence is a very comforting and homely feeling and when she concentrates on a particular hearth, her power increases tenfold
-> probably resulting in you dozing off in a cozy armchair, fast asleep like your world hadn't just come crashing down around you
-> she watches you sleep so peacefully (but like- in a non creepy way)
-> she keeps on at it for a while, watching you do your daily chores for a while, admiring you from a safe distance and slowly falling for you
-> I don't think Hestia would even bother trying to disguise herself as a regular human to you, she just pops up in your fireplace one day and shyly starts a conversation
-> Depending on your reaction, she'd either cool you down or happily continue your conversation like literally nothing ever happened
-> I'm not gonna go into details but she'd win you over pretty damn quickly and starts dating you as soon as possible
(now for some domestic fluff...cuz it's hestia)
-> I have this headcanon that because Hestia is the goddess of family, she'd know all the best picnic spots
-> like you cannot tell me that she wouldn't know the most gorgeous cliffside overlooking a sea view in the world and take you there as a date
-> she likes baking for you because she adores how your face lights up when she makes you those cookies you love so much
-> she already knows your allergies and taste in food so don't even bother telling her, she's already got the best recipes she has set in mind :)
-> she likes taking you on peaceful walks with her while she's disguised as a human
-> watching all the different people walk by with their dogs, significant others, etc, etc makes her very happy
-> she'll point out to you all the small, gorgeous details your eyes might've missed
->she wants to show you the beauty of the world you live in!
-> definitely takes you to visit her favourite places in greece
->dresses up like a local that the people know well by now and takes you to her favourite parts of her homeland <3
->wants you to try all the native food, 100%
->when it comes to the issue of her being an immortal goddess and you being a regular ol mortal with a short life span (compared to her anyway), she'll try to convince you to let her feed you nectar
->obviously, you say something along the lines of 'fuck no'
->she's devastated when you abandon her at the table in the restaurant she took you to, to run away
->keeps popping up in the hearth whenever you light your fire (only for you to extinguish the flames with water)
->she finally gets you to have a normal, healthy conversation with her when she catches you off guard while you're napping by the fireplace
->would probably end with a compromise (somehow) that she'd make your closest friends and family immortal with you so that you'd all be able to live together
->after that, your relationship is pretty much smooth sailing
->Hestia isn't a very possessive or jealous person and she usually communicates that she's uncomfortable when she is
->cuz, y'know...she's actually sane (unlike the rest of her siblings and nephews and nieces)
->adopts an animal with you, a hundred percent <3
->likes cuddling you in her hearth, because it's so warm and cozy that you always end up falling asleep on her chest
->and she likes that :)
->takes you up to Olympus because she isn't scared of someone else taking you away
->none of the gods would even try because who would want to make Hestia upset? (especially cause it's mostly out of fondness, rather than terror *cough cough* Athena *cough cough*)
->anyway, she's probably one of the best girlfriends in the world <3
->can't and doesn't marry you because of her vow, but gives you a promise ring and lets you give her one if you really wanted to <3
->mostly just overly clingy, staying by your side whenever she can and hearth-hopping to wherever you goโ€” work, out with friends, etc
BONUS!
-> she leaves you with Aphrodite if she's busy, because Aphrodite thinks you're adorable and always spends her time with you helping her doves make you all pretty for Hestia, Cinderella's fairy godmother style :)

A demigod is a divine mythological figure, a god who is either part human, or a minor god. In ancient Greece, dead heroes were sometimes thought of as demigods. Greek and Roman mythology have their share of demigods, and so do many other ancient religions and traditions.
Demi god!Yuu takes immense pride in making Ramshackle Dorm a welcoming space for everyone. Itโ€™s not just a place to liveโ€”itโ€™s a home. They have an almost magical ability to keep the fire always burning in the hearth, no matter how cold or chaotic things get. Ramshackle smells of baked bread, warm spices, and something uniquely comforting whenever demi-god!Yuu is around.
Their magic is centered around protective fire. Their flames never burn destructively unless they wills itโ€”they warm, soothe, and shield. During fights, they conjures a dome of fire around their allies, and they even use smaller flames to guide lost souls through dark places, like a guardian light.
They also have a talent at food magic, the food that they always make held magical capabilities, they are able to heal, enhance and banish anxiety. Their cooking has the ability to rejuvenate and heal the bodies and soul of those who ate it.
They also have a habit of finishing their food in half of it and then throw the unfinished in the fire, when multiple students ask why they did it, they said it's a way to say thank you to their mother.
Demi-God!Yuu is the grounding force in Grimโ€™s chaotic life. Their relationship is much like a motherly bondโ€”Grim causes chaos, and they quietly fixes it. Despite Grimโ€™s mischievous nature, he often finds himself curling up by their side when the day is over, soaking in the warmth and comfort only they can provide.
Ramshackle has been transformed from its previously rundown state into a warm, inviting space. They have added soft, plush furniture like oversized couches, armchairs, and thick rugs, making it perfect for lounging or gathering with friends. The walls are decorated with warm earth tones and rustic, simple decorโ€”wooden shelves, woven tapestries, and small plants give the dorm a homey, lived-in feel
.In the spirit of family and unity, thereโ€™s a large, handcrafted wooden dining table in the center of the kitchen, where they often serves meals to friends. The table is always set with mismatched, yet charming dishware, and they keeps it stocked with fresh bread, fruit, and snacks. Meals at Ramshackle are a communal affair, with friends from different dorms often dropping by for food and conversation.
The central feature of Ramshackle Dorm under Demi-godYuu care is a large, ever-burning hearth located in the common room. The fire never goes out, providing warmth and comfort to anyone who enters. The flames are magical, casting a gentle golden light that fills the room with a sense of safety. Itโ€™s both literal and symbolic, representing their connection to their mother and their role as the heart of the dorm.
Ramshackle has become a popular spot for study sessions under their watch. Theyโ€™ll prepare snacks, light the fireplace, and create a quiet, warm environment perfect for focusing on schoolwork. The other students find it easier to concentrate when their around, as their calm energy balances the stress of academics.
The kitchen is the heart of Demi-God Yuuโ€™s hospitality. Itโ€™s an open space with hanging pots and pans, shelves lined with herbs and spices, and a large brick oven where they bakes their famous bread and hearty meals. Thereโ€™s always something cooking, filling the dorm with the scent of fresh-baked goods and simmering stews. The fire in the oven is controlled directly by their magic, ensuring perfect heat for every dish.
During free time trey, Jamil and them would try new baking and cooking recipes. You would always expect them at the school's kitchen or at the ramshackle kitchen cooking a hearty meal for students to enjoy.
Btw behind ramshackle holds a garden filled with vegetables and fruits Demi-God!yuu grow by themselves during free time you can always find them tending to the vegetables and for those who steal without permission is gonna suffer from their raft.
Ruggie enjoys their present, since they always give him free food. Or when he's tired and needs a place to rest you can always find him in ramshackle enjoying a meal prepared by Demi-God!yuu.
They love organizing small celebrations or get-togethers for special occasions. Whether itโ€™s someoneโ€™s birthday or a dorm victory, theyโ€™ll create an event with homemade food, decorations, and warm fires to keep everyone cozy. These small festivals quickly become a favorite tradition among their friends, who look forward to their thoughtful touches.
They have a habit of collecting small, comforting objects from their friends and surroundingsโ€”little tokens like handmade charms, smooth stones, or dried flowers. These trinkets serve as reminders of the bonds theyโ€™ve formed with others, and they often places them on shelves or keeps them in pockets to carry that warmth with them.
At the end of the day, Demi-God yuu has a ritual of sitting by the fire, quietly meditating or reflecting on the events of the day. Theyโ€™ll let the flames dance in front of them, using the soft crackling sound to clear their mind. Sometimes friends will join, creating a peaceful, bonding moment before heading off to bed.
They also often crafts small protective charms out of clay, fire, and herbs, infused with a spark of their divine power. These charms are designed to ward off harm and bring good fortune to those who carry them. Many of their friends have one, often worn as a necklace or tucked into a pocket. The charm glows faintly when danger is near, reminding everyone of their protective nature.
Though demigod-Yuu is kind and gentle, they are fiercely protective when it comes to their friends. They donโ€™t always show it, but theyโ€™re constantly aware of everyoneโ€™s well-being, ready to step in if something goes wrong. Their quiet but vigilant nature means that danger rarely catches them off guard. When someone threatens those they care about, their flames burn hotter and more intense, transforming them from a peaceful caretaker into a protector.
Demi-God Yuu has an incredible emotional intuition, able to sense when something is off with their friends, even when they try to hide it. Whether itโ€™s the way someoneโ€™s aura feels cooler than usual or how theyโ€™re behaving more distantly, they will pick up on the smallest shifts and offer quiet support. This makes them a comforting presence, as people donโ€™t have to explain themselves for them to understand.
They can channel their fire magic into healing flames. When someone is injured, they place their hands over the wound and allow a gentle warmth to radiate, accelerating the healing process. These flames donโ€™t burn or hurt but instead bring a soothing, regenerative warmth that makes physical injuries heal faster and leaves the person feeling rejuvenated.
Their clothing is enchanted to be fireproof, both for practical and aesthetic reasons. They often wear outfits that are warm and cozy, like oversized sweaters, soft scarves, and long skirts or pants. Their style is practical but has a rustic charm, blending comfort with the feeling of being always ready for action. The clothes seem to emit a slight warmth as well, making others feel comforted when standing close to them.
They also carries a small, portable cooking kit that includes a tiny pot, a collapsible spatula, and a few spices. While it may seem strange, this kit is perfect for impromptu cooking, whether it's brewing a quick soup or making tea. Their always ready to cook, no matter where they are.
Demi-God Yuu can communicate with fire spirits and small ember-like creatures. These spirits sometimes act as helpers or companions, flitting around them, providing warmth, guidance, or even playful company. These little spirits are drawn to their hearth-like energy and often appear when they need a reminder of home or emotional support.
While they are known for their warmth, they carry a deep sadness from feeling like an outsider. Their divine heritage often makes it difficult to fully connect with their peers, leading them to struggle with feelings of inadequacy or not belonging. They share their feelings only with their closest friends, who help remind them of their worth and the positive impact they have on those around them.
Demi-God Yuu has a collection of unique candles from different places, each with its own story. They love to light these candles during study sessions or gatherings, filling the room with various scents that evoke memories and feelings of comfort.
They carrie a small, intricately designed keychain shaped like a flame that their mother gave them as a child. It serves as a reminder of Hestiaโ€™s love and protection and brings them comfort in challenging times. They often hold it when feeling anxious.
Malleus has a soft spot for them, often visiting their room to enjoy the warmth and peace it provides. He feels a connection to their hearth-like energy, which calms him in moments of solitude. They share a special bond over their understanding of loneliness.
Demi-God Yuu holds various superstitions related to their heritage, such as always carrying a lucky charm or lighting a candle before an important event. They believe these rituals help them connect with Hestia and bring them good fortune.
Demi-God Yuu has an affinity for puns, especially ones related to fire or warmth. Their friends groan at Demi-God Yuuโ€™s dad jokes, but they canโ€™t help but laugh because of their contagious enthusiasm and genuine joy in sharing them.
They enjoy spending time with Lilia, as he appreciates the warmth they bring to any gathering. They often have deep conversations about life, family, and finding purpose, bonding over their shared experiences as guardians of their respective communities.
They also keeps a journal filled with recipes from around the world. They aspire to learn about different culinary traditions and eventually host an international potluck at NRC, encouraging everyone to share their heritage.

HEADCANONS OF LEO X A HESTIA READER LIKE
Imagine the reader making his favorite foods when hes busy working at the forge and he gets all teary eyed bc he didnt expect reader to cook for him
๐Ÿฅบ
STOOOOOOOP THIS IS SO FUCKING CUTE.
No bc Leo has bounced around from place to place for pretty much his whole life. In a moment of pure and utter self loathing he realized "I probably can't even say I'm from Houston because I've spent way more time moving around than I actually spent there! So I'm not actually from anywhere!" But GODS the moment he laid eyes on you he felt it. He though oh, this is what home feels like. You know everything about him, you pay attention and you take such good care of him he wonders of he even deserves it (he does). You're a homebody at heart, just like everyone else in your cabin, but you're more than happy to hang out with Leo and body double with him through late nights in bunker 9. You make anywhere feel like home, a place where he can be still and recharge. You'll be sitting nearby reading or knitting or working on some adorable little cottagecore cross stitch piece while he works on some sort of advanced automaton. One night in particular you show up a little later than usual. You smell like a breeze that carries the changing of the seasons - though he can never place which one - and the soft smell of clean laundry and a cozy fireplace. You're a little damp from a drizzling rain, and you greet him like usual with a warm lingering hug and a fond kiss and a little pat to his chest. But this time you're carrying a bunch of containers. You set them down on a clear part of his workbench rambling about how you thought he'd be hungry and how you spent all afternoon in the camp kitchens because you couldn't decide on what to make him so you just sort of... made everything. Including your signature dessert, a new type of cheesecake you've been dying to try on someone, and butterfingers flavored fudge.
He can barely process this. You COOKED for him completely of your own accord, you made him desserts, remembered his favorite recipes, remembered his favorite candy and somehow turned it EXACTLY into fudge squares?!?!?!?!???? That's the moment it really hits him. He can never, ever let you go. It doesn't matter how long you've been dating or how old you are, that is THE moment that he points to when someone asks "when did you know you were in love? When did you know you were gonna marry them?"
It's that.
Also, you're the only one who can get the motor oil stains out of his clothes.

Motherly Instinct
Tumblr media
Once upon a time, in the lush and storied lands of ancient Greece, there lived a kind and gentle goddess named Hestia.
As the virgin goddess of the hearth, home, and hospitality, Hestia was revered by all for her nurturing and welcoming spirit. She was the heart of Olympus, always ready with a warm fire and a comforting word for her fellow gods and goddesses.
One fateful day, as Hestia tended to the sacred flames of her hearth, she heard a faint whimpering coming from the woods outside her palace. Puzzled, she followed the sound and soon came upon a sight that filled her heart with sorrow: a small, abandoned infant boy, left alone in the wilderness to fend for himself.
Hestia's maternal instincts immediately kicked in, and she knew she could not leave the child to perish. She scooped him up in her arms and brought him back to her palace, determined to give him a warm and loving home.
As she cared for the child, Hestia was filled with a sense of joy and fulfillment that she had never known before. She named the boy Hephaiestos, and raised him as her own, teaching him the ways of the gods and instilling in him the values of hospitality and kindness.
Under Hestia's tender care, Hephaiestos grew into a strong and handsome young man, with a kind heart and a quick mind. He became the god of fire and the forge, using his skills to create wondrous tools and weapons for his fellow gods and goddesses.
And though Hestia never married or had children of her own, she was content in the knowledge that she had played a role in shaping the life of one of the most beloved and respected gods of all time. For the rest of her days, she continued to tend to her hearth and offer her hospitality to all, knowing that she had truly found her calling as a mother and a nurturer.
The legend of Hestia and Hephaiestos became a beloved tale in ancient Greece, passed down through the generations as a testament to the power of love and the importance of family. And to this day, Hestia is remembered as the kind and welcoming goddess who opened her heart and her home to a child in need, and in doing so, created a bond that would last for all eternity.

Ok so I just saw that one Poseidon short animation Neal Illustrator did, and omg, Neal ur gonna be the absolute fucking death of me, nevermind Neal STEVEN WHAT IS THAT SONG!? But I also saw Neal's rockstar designs and got to thinking, what if that was one of their songs? Sung by none other than "Mr-More-Lovers-Than-Zeus"
It's only been a few months but anyone would know about the band Natural Disaster(Neal's name for them, I can change it if requested), the eldest brother who was a god at sound design and pretty good on the drums, the youngest brother the lead guitarist of the band and well known ladies man, and the middle brother who had a voice the gods would envy. Out of all of Natural Disaster it is a well known little joke, Hades' music was always recognizable, Zeus' face his most recognizable feature and as for Poseidon it was of course his voice. The main character in this story however found it all quite corny, fictional god names? Really? Little did Reader know that said "fictional gods" were not so fake but neither do they hold the divine powers they did back then, and after meeting the wife of Hades, Persephone, and befriending her Reader would go on to meet the infamous brothers. Let's just say Readers personality was rather...harsh when combined with theirs and their first encounter wouldn't be so pleasant, oh what will Reader think when they find out the man they beat to a near pulp because he was being too touchy feely around girls was the king of gods in his prime. Now though? Well they're basically mortals, in every way except their immortality which they retained. How will Reader fare on their journey? And which love interest may catch their eye?(If any at all) But seriously...do you really believe Reader meeting Persephone will be a coincidence? Nah, you see Readers had this little pain in the ass for as long as they can remember, honestly thought they were schizo or something when they got older, but no, why are you surprised?
"HAHAHAHAHAHA!"

If this gets to 50 likes I'll release headcanons and funfacts on my modern!celebrity!AU or "the universe where they've been stripped of power as the eons went by" basically.

PJO DEMIGOD HEADCANONS [BONUS!]
๐Ÿ”ฅ HESTIA: Goddess of the Hearth ๐Ÿ
author's note: I had a sudden idea about writing some headcanons Camp Halfblood demigods being claimed and what it's like for each respective god and cabin, followed by a small blurb afterwards. Thank you for reading and please like and reblog! The order is not in order of the cabin numbers. [PJO DEMIGOD HEADCANONS MASTERLIST] {5/9/2025} editted over repeated paragraphs
Alright bear with me on this take: The fact that Hades gets a cabin finally. Hera doesnโ€™t have any demigod children yet still has a cabin because of propriety and based on principle, which makes her cabin essentially a temple, so why not the same for Hestia?ย ย  While Hestia may not have a need for a cabin or anything, but if the rest of the major gods have a structure, it might've felt uneasy for everyone that Hestia is the only one left that doesn't have one. So they erect one on the fact unless Hestia herself explicitly says she doesn't want one.
Hestia is the goddess of the Hearth and every offering/sacrifice offered to the gods, a bit of it always goes to her too.ย She also presides over the home and community. ย
Hestia is the goddess of the Hearth and every offering/sacrifice offered to the gods, a bit of it always goes to her too.ย She also presides over the home and community.
Although this is mainly connected with her Roman counterpart, Vesta, she has something similar to Artemisโ€™ hunters but less aggressive and non-violent, called โ€œThe Vestal Virginsโ€ who tend to the sacred fire in the Temple of Vesta. Essentially, youโ€™re priestesses of Hestia.ย
Any demigod, mortal who can see through the mist, or what have you, are allowed to become as Hestiaโ€™s priestesses, who follow the same oath of maidenhood, swearing off romance, and etc.ย It's not uncommon to have mortals who were sisters or cousins, to either to the mortal parent of the demigod, or the demigod themselves, enter as Hestia's priestess.
You help maintain the sacrificial fire that is set up at the campfire, at the dining hall, and later the one in the Hestiaโ€™s cabin/temple.ย
Itโ€™s pretty straightforward. You do your duties that fall underneath Hestiaโ€™s domain, helping out with also maintaining the camp along with the Nymphs.ย Doing what you can for the community.
Children and those entering the household were blessed by Hestia, around the fire, showering them in nuts and figs. This also applies to any children entering camp at a young age or any staff members employed into Camp Half-blood.ย
You help bless any new babies that are born in Camp Half-blood, or rarely brought forward by former camp members. Oftentimes, the babies are baby satyrs and you work together with the children of Hebe who help take care of them as a daycare situation.
On a sombre note: you also are in charge with the funerals, with helping prepare the funeral pyres, and each shroud. You put out the fire at their deaths and rekindle it once more.
Your place is also the place to be for cooking and baking. Hestiaโ€™s domain is the hearth, which was also used to cook, so the kitchen is also her domain. This leads to so much baked and cooked food, that is separate from the mountain of food cooked for the dining pavilion. You often then not have a never ending line of people asking for some goodies. Hey, all growing heroes need to eat!ย
You also have to fend and cap off the satyrs. Your kitchenware are not safe.ย ย
The Winter Solstices, Christmas, Harvest festival, Thanksgiving, all those kinds of days are your ALL HANDS ON DECK moments. So much food. So much preparation and decoration to do! You often employ other camp members to help out with the events from the cooking to decoration. Their payment? Little sneaky treats.
You wondered before how the sacrificial fire was maintained and taken care of before you all came to be. Sure it was technically magical/spiritual fire and a portion of it couldโ€™ve been taken from Mount Olympus long ago to Camp Half-blood, but still-
Then you see a little girl with brown hair and brown eyes helping tend to the fire. You werenโ€™t sure but you all worked together with her until one day, you saw her eyes light up with fire.
You breathed in the smoke and heat of the crackling blazer. The fire was high and roaring yet despite the dangers of it, you werenโ€™t afraid of getting burnt. Perhaps it is because youโ€™ve been tending to the fire for a while now, so you were sure how close was too close. Or was it because you had a feeling this was Hestiaโ€™s fire and knew you wouldnโ€™t be harmed by it as you serve in her name and domain.ย
You had just finished up helping with the food rotation, and you were on baking duty. You and your other fellow members worked alongside the nymphs and dryads,ย  The table was laden out with food for the incoming hungry campers, and the sneaky hands of Satyrs.ย
You poured the oil into the blazer and the fires roared even higher. You watch the embers fly up into the darkening sky filled with the sunset hues.ย
โ€œA wonderful fireโ€ you heard as you turned. You saw the little girl with brown hair, and brown eyes right beside you , and you almost jumped into the fire. You werenโ€™t afraid of getting burnt but surely jumping into the blazer would still be a big no-no.ย
The girl giggled as you placed a hand on your beating heart. โ€œUmโ€ฆyeah, yes, the fire is wonderfulโ€ you stammered out a reply.ย
The girl smiled at you and gestured to you to come closer. You did and she reached into her robe to pull out a treat. Your favourite treat. Your mouth watered and it smelled just right.ย
โ€œFor you. Wonderful work (y/n), I hope you continue to warm others with our hearthโ€ she said as you took the treat. You looked her in the eye and her brown eyes lit with fire. You widen your eyes, your body stiffening as you realise who you were talking to.ย
Hestia gave you one last, warm smile, before she disappeared into embers.

constant arguing. constant, constant, constant arguing. lukeโ€™s head was about to split open.ย
โ€œi could have handled him just fine, thanks,โ€ thalia shouted, storming ahead on the narrow path through the woods somewhere in pennsylvania.ย
โ€˜guys, please,โ€ he would have thrown his head back if he wasnโ€™t carrying a sleeping annabeth on his back. you thought she was the most adorable thing, drooling a little on lukeโ€™s shoulder. even the knife she kept clutched in her small fist was cute, although luke looked a little terrified that if she jolted in her sleep she would slice his chest open. a few weeks ago, you had convinced luke and thalia to stop, let you brush out her matted curls, and put her hair in braids that wouldnโ€™t get caught or tangled as you all continued along the road. of course, thalia sat there critiquing every knot and part you made (with a celestial bronze knife, mind you).ย
โ€œit had you pinned to the ground,โ€ you said, referring to the stymphalian bird that had been chasing you from philadelphia. โ€œit would have bitten your head clean off if you hadnโ€™t gotten involved.โ€
thalia rolled her eyes.ย
โ€œcan we try a little patience here? gratitude, maybe?โ€ luke chimed in.
โ€œshut up, luke,โ€ you said in unison. you might be bickering all the time, but thalia was your best friend. you certainly didnโ€™t need luke coming in the middle, acting like he ran the show because he was the oldest. you got enough of that from thalia, and she was only a year older than you.
โ€œfor godsโ€™ sake,โ€ he muttered.
you trudged along, summoning soft flames between your hands. you hadnโ€™t been born to a goddess, necessarily, but your adopted mother, who had fallen for a kind librarian in your town, had found your doorstep one day, long after the librarian had disappeared from her life, with a note attached. you had accidentally incinerated it shortly after she took you in, but she gave you the gist, which was that hestia had found you through a fire in an orphanage, enthralled by the flames, and that she had decided you were in need of a mother. she had pulled you through the hearth, given you some strange blessing, and dropped you on your motherโ€™s doorstep.ย
eight years later, when you were nine, your mother had died in a plane crash on her way back from visiting her father. the foster homes hadnโ€™t loved taking in a nine year old who could summon fire, so that was when you ran away.ย
so far, you could tell that hestia was trying her best to help you along your travels, which was more than you could say for hermes (ironically) or athena, let alone zeus, who you were pretty sure was the one stopping the others from intervening. you got the impression that hestia didnโ€™t answer to zeus as much as he would have liked.ย
the fire came in handy at nights, when you could warm yourselves around it. you had a way of making even a campground in the middle of the appalachian mountains that crawled with monsters feel like home. you would go to sleep around the fire, but manage to wake up curled within thaliaโ€™s arms. you could never place it, but it felt different than how luke held annabeth like her life depended on it: as in, you would always wake to them giggling over their breakfasts at you, but it didnโ€™t hold any weight to laugh at them.ย ย ย
โญ‘
the fire came in handy when you were trapped, alone, in the cyclopsโ€™ cellar. you had screamed for your friends to leave you, that you would be okay. and it came in handy on the streets of new york for the next five years, and even at the candy shop you managed to get a job in (somewhat illegally: a nice woman named sally did sort of pay you under the table).ย
then sally went missing. you lost your job, and you made your way south again, staying in the demigod hideouts you had made with luke, thalia, and annabeth. flames trickled across your skin as you cried, wishing they were still with you. you hoped they were safe at camp, but you could help wondering why they hadnโ€™t sent anyone to come find you. did annabeth even remember you?ย
โญ‘
luke found you just as you were about to starve to death. youโ€™d been in an especial depression, hiding in the cave of the blue ridge mountains, over in tennessee. the cold of the winter was insane. you couldnโ€™t remember it ever getting that bad in the city.ย
you broke when he told you she was dead.ย
โ€œitโ€™s his fault,โ€ he said, false tears in his eyes. he had long forced away any emotion pertaining to camp half-blood.ย
and so you joined him, becoming his right-hand man. the monsters in kronosโ€™ army feared you. the girl with the flames, they whispered. yet in the privacy of your cabin, you silently prayed to hestia, let her guide you as you fought her brother.ย
it was she who told you to follow luke to mount tam.ย
โญ‘
the mountaintop was impossibly windy. you were relying entirely on your sword if there was troubleโ€”any flame would be immediately extinguished.ย
you hadnโ€™t accounted for the bigger threatโ€”the air leaving your lungs at the sight of your sister on the ground as artemis held the sky beside her.ย
he promised.ย
he had promised annabeth would never be hurt.ย
your stomach churned. she didnโ€™t even see you, bent over in pain. you couldnโ€™t speak. you turned to luke, suddenly terrified. what had he done? what were you a part of? your legs turned to lead. no. he was already practicing. the titan lord was already too far in his mind to turn it around. and he sensed your allegiance shifting.
when she came over the hill your heart stopped.ย
your vision blurred as you saw her face. as she came to your side, held your face in her hands, and helped you to the ground beside annabeth.ย
you watched through teary eyes as she fought luke. as he fell from the cliff, you couldnโ€™t help but reach out.ย
and then your vision darkened.ย
โญ‘
your eyes opened to warmth. annabeth sat by your side, brushing hair from your face. thalia stood talking to a boyโ€”about twelve or thirteen, you guessedโ€”and a man who shared annabethโ€™s dark skin and deep-in-thought expression.ย
she rushed to your side when annabeth called.ย
as she knelt beside you, you adjusted yourself on the couch. your hair was probably a disgusting mess. she smiled softly, brushing her own short hair behind her ear.ย
โ€œi thought you were a tree,โ€ you croaked, and she laughed lightly.ย
โ€œi was. i thought you were cyclops food.โ€ย
โ€œi wasnโ€™t.โ€
she lowered her head, and you pushed yourself up on your elbows. she pushed a pillow behind your head, but held it up with the hand that wasnโ€™t resting on your thigh. as she kissed you, you saw the years of camping behind you and the years ahead of rushing to her tree as the hunters arrived at camp all at once.ย
and as she pulled back, you saw annabeth smile, hiding her face in the other kidโ€™s chest.
