MOTIVATION MONDAY! 💜

Today, after Storm Ciara battered the British Isles yesterday, my motivation is taken from the extraordinary bravery and kindness of strangers to others. In my area we suffered terrible flooding in the valley and the local community rallied. There were people out there helping to rescue stranded folk who the overstretched fire and police services couldn't get to immediately. Others opened their doors to those who had lost everything. Offers of food, drinks, shelter and beds for the night came pouring in. We also had offers of help from charities far away. It was heartwarming to see 💜💜💜

I’m married (15 years) submissive – though it’s complicated. We’re bedroom only as Hubby isn’t that Dominant in life, which can make things very tricky when I need more than he is capable of giving. At the end of the day though I married him before I realised the real me, and I’m not prepared to throw away our wonderful marriage just because of this one small thing. Mixed in with my submissive side is a hint of masochist, a drop of little and a lot of brat! – though it’s not to be naughty - it’s more playful.

How did we get into the lifestyle?

I started it all. We’d gotten to a point in our marriage where we were just existing – both of us angry, sad and unsatisfied. We’d done the occasional tying up like most couples do (I assume) but I knew I wanted more. I started reading erotica and started to feel “this is me”, “I want these things”. It took  a while for me  to accept that it was ok to want these things and eventually I started to drop hints. We then seemed to just tumble into it. The physical side came first,  we went from tying up with whatever was handy, to spanking with hands, then a crop, a cheap cane, a paddle and then flogger, then the emotional side developed. My love of rope came from attending an exhibition and seeing a rope display – I was instantly hooked. Rope play for us has been a slow process, even now I’m not where I would love us to be with it.

Our situation at the moment:

Currently Hubby is out of work due to being made redundant 1 year ago. Like most countries, the economy is not that great and jobs are hard to come by and despite loads of interviews nothing has panned out for him, which leaves me the breadwinner. I work as a Teaching Assistant so my pay is not that great either. We’re lucky though as he doesn’t have that huge ego that states “ I am the man, I must earn more money”. It is stressful making sure all the bills and essentials are paid and it means there’s less money for toys and fun, but I know it won’t be like this forever.

I think the hard part about being a worker, a mother and a wife is switching my brain off at the end of the day. Sometimes it’s difficult to get in the mood when you’re worrying about how your kids are doing in school (especially as both have learning difficulties), how can I make Son 1’s (who has severe Autism) life easier. I find that when things are getting on top of me, my need to be submissive is greater – I need the rules, I need the spanking, I need the bondage, I need to be his. I’m definitely getting better at letting him know how I’m feeling and what I’m needing, and he’s growing in confidence in meeting my needs – so you could say we are surviving this rough patch together.

Good morning all. I'm a little sick today with a stomach bug. Thanks kids! Lol. Anyway, I've had to stay home and I'm about to get some sleep after being up since 3am. I'll be right as rain in no time 😊 I hope you're all well and I'll catch you later 💜💜💜

At lunchtime today I went outside at work and found this....

There are some people in my local area, (it might actually be a national thing too but I'm not sure about that), who paint rocks & leave them for others to find. This little fella put a huge smile on my face and made me feel happy all day long 😀 A message on the back lead me to a FB group where I posted my find. The lady who left it got in touch saying how happy she was that I'd found it and posted it. Happees all round! 🤗 The message also says that I can keep him or leave him somewhere for someone else to find. I want to pass the happees on and so within the next day or two I will leave him near to the local infant and junior school in the hope that a child will find him 💜🙏

@hesmysafeplace We had poached eggs on toast for brekkie. Kitty's just taken me to a supermarket so I can put fuel in my car for the return trip. Really not looking forward to that cos it's a long, boring drive. Now we're going to watch Aquaman before I set off back home 😊

Good morning from Kitty's place. We had a good day yesterday which involved 2 Bailey coffees, two bottles of Prosecco & 3 bottles of Desperado between us and spaced out over several hours, and lots of lovely food. We talked, laughed, cried a little, watched a movie, and eventually retired at about 2am 😁 Thank you @kittysparkleslove for your excellent company! 🤗😘
