Hero lineup!! Featuring some extra cigognelles bc shes too pretty not to draw

I originally planned on doing both the hero and civilian designs and then posting, but im too lazy and impatient so here u go

My longggggg thoughts and extra doodles down below, as always :333

So here are some things i kept in mind while designing them! Its nothing extraordinary but i like hearing people talk abt this stuff so i thought others would enjoy it too

While designing the three of them, i didnt exactly keep any inspiration for their designs (other than cigognelle, sorry lb and cn…) but there were some things i DID want, ill go through them here.

It was also pretty important for me that they look cohesive, because they DO have the big three miraculouses (i do like the idea of the other heroes joining, no zodiac miraculous tho)

I also pointed out some parts of the design that might be missed bc im obsessed

Ladybug:

One thing i wanted to incorporate was LESS SPOTS!!! Movie chat was right she DOES look like a watermelon

I also remembered mr bug’s suit and how he had armor on, and i really liked that idea! In my mind, the shoulder pads and breastplate are made of some sort of hard material, something synthetic.

And i also made her look more like a ladybug, with antennae. The little spikes are similar to the little hairs on insects, though ladybugs themselves dont have them (the little segments on their legs are joints, and i didnt rly like the look of them on a suit). This is mainly so she looks more insecty

The lines on her suit are inspired by spiderman!! As another insect themed hero, it was fun to make ladybug similar to him in that aspect. Expect to see her in spiderman poses in my art lol

Cigognelle:

Her look is inspired by ballet, because is there truly anything more graceful and crane-like than that?

I had my eye on specifically 1920s theatre and ballet costumes. Her hair, her hat (yes its a hat lol), her heels, etc

I thought it really fit her style, and her mostly black and white color scheme

Speaking of color scheme, i was REALLY surprised when i found out how perfect her colors were. The black and red are both colors that chat and ladybug have, and i thought it fit really well, considering her role :)

The little daggers she has are in the shape of a crane beak

Now, chat’s suit didnt really change much. Im in love with his actual suit, but i’d still make a few changes

Same as ladybug, i wanted to add in more elements from a cat. Again, his suit does this really well (the PAW TOES!!!!!! Im literally obsessed) so i only added some fur on his shoulders, wrist, and on his boots.

The little cat buckle on his concept design is far too cute, so i added it back, this time as a solid silver one for simplicity

I added some little silver studs around his suit, like his arms and mask and also his ears (it doesn’t show tho)

And lastly, i brought in more green into his design, cuz its more fun that way!!!

What I imagine the Monkey D Family would dress up as for Halloween!

Kuzan: Standard old man sleepwear fit! Complete with nightgown, cap, fake candlestick and a pillowcase to carry his sweets! He got booed by Dadan, she said it was just an excuse for him to wear pyjamas outside. He agreed, smugly saying that’s exactly why he chose it! He could go from trick or treating to napping in a snap with this outfit! He ends up with most candy by the end of the night.

Dadan: She goes for a classic: Little Red Riding Hood! She’s got a crimson cape, basket for her future haul and also a metal pipe that given to her by Urpi. It was gifted with clear instructions to only be used against creeps and weirdos. Bullies and other assorted candy thieves were a fists issue. Kuzan told her how she nailed the costume and she was practically floating on air before he continued how her trying to be cute was certainly the scariest thing he’d see tonight. She almost brought out the pipe but restrained and began to chase her little brother around instead.

Dragon: Little man spent atleast half of October debating his costume before ultimately decided to be a literal Dragon! He designed his costume himself and eager for every costume fitting. He didnt get booed by his siblings. They wanted to but he looked so happy with his outfit they couldn’t. He does however get called Dragon the Dragon all throughout the night and next morning.

Garp: As the escort for the night, Garp decided to go big! And by big, he means his full military uniform that he almost never wears! The hat, all his medals polished and shining on his chest, the whole shebang. He was expecting some grumbles but being hit with a trio of boos was a new one. They complained (rightfully) that he’s not even wearing a costume and how he’s besmirching the good name of Hallow's eve! Nothing a little playful roughhousing couldn’t fix though.

Urpi: She won the very unofficial Monkey D costume contest when she waltz though the doorway in full piratical gear. Knee high boots, sash around the waist and a tricorn fit for a captain! The kids loved it and Garp was a mixture of mortified and flustered. She knelt down to eye level and reminded her kids of that no candy was to be eaten before she got a chance to check it over. They pinky swore it and she sent them off with a kiss into the night.

Oho… Garpi as the ever so forbidden Marine and pirate duo… I can hear Gol D Roger’s jealousy from here.

Kuzan was sound asleep about halfway through the trick-or-treating rounds yet still got so much more candy than his siblings. Madness. It was the sleepy little face and the adorable little yawns and eye rubs that did it. It was too cute. He was weaponizing it.

Dadan was an adorable little sight in her little dress and red cloak. Garp said it needed on final touch. A wolf pelt. A literal actual wolf pelt from one of their hunting trips to the mountains. Garp said it was to tell all the other Big Bad Wolves not to mess with her. She loved it.

And Dragon, sweet, adorable, precious Dragon. He didn’t just dress up as just any old dragon, he dressed up as a millennial dragon. Now the only rules of that were that he could only use his own feathers if they were already shed. He followed along behind Dadan looking more like a ball of teal and gray fluff than the actual beast itself, but it was adorable. Absolutely adorable.

HELLO. so yes i somehow managed to win the game. and honestly. the final boss was pretty fun and everyone was so cute at the end omg... but i still think that side order is a bit underdevloped.... i dont even know if ill try to %100 is cuz playing it makes me SO STRESSFUL im glad i get to finish a run BUT i will definetly not be touching side order atleast for a while.... but despite i had plenty of stuff i didnt like in side order the ending managed to make me forget all that haha

Talking a little on the recent mangas I've started reading this week😗✨📚(two of them are new to me, for the others, I've picked up on the manga after finishing their current anime seasons) 💚THERE MIGHT BE SPOILERS💚

1) Tomodachi Game:

So i think I've only read up to around 12 chapters or so and it's so good????

The roller-coaster of emotions it's making me have though- like i started loving Tenji with my whole heart and soul then he...disappointed me. Then he earned my trust again- a whole twist.

Yuuichi is a pretty good MC so far. Bro is a cutie.

Sawaragi pisses me off a little. Idk how to explain it though.

So i have two volumes of Demon Slayer at home and i gotta say, the art improved and it's nice to have seen it grow. I know it's like this for most mangakas, but here i didnt see a whole art style change or whatever but something becoming finer while keeping that style very present.

The story is at its peak right now, i reached up to the point where Muzan decided to heehee himself in the no-no place for him. (idk how to say this without spoiling)

The story has taken a nice turn with the U-20 team rushing things up. I love it but i want to see Sae play already so I'm being an impatient little bug.

The art is MUAH as always. I love the lines added for light shading, ill probably inspire myself off it for future drawings.

Hiori needs to be friends with Chigiri so they can talk about hair products (Hiori is like a short-haired Chigiri with cyan hair. My boy has naturally long lashes (Rin's remain better 💅)

this was bound to be a disaster. all eris knew was that having the inner circle at autumn could lead to a multitude of issues, all of which would fall directly on him. he expected them to irritate his father, or break off the alliance, or even damage property. what he did not expect however, was the patronizing questions about his mate.

the questions all started on the first night. there had been a welcoming banquet in their honor, and you were standing aside eris in all of your autumnal glory. your magnificent outfit was adorned with jewelry and charms of autumn with dark red details and a beautiful trim. you stood elegant and poised, yet uncharacteristically close to eris, who seemed to be enraptured by you.

"who are they?" mor asked, eyeing you in slight confusion.

"im not sure, but if i had to guess, theyre eris' lover, or at least something akin to that" replied azriel. he watched you and eris with an amused look on his face, and the rest of the inner circle did the same. after a while, they dispersed and began to mingle among the fellow guests, but some of their minds remained lingering on you and eris.

"eris!" rhysands elegant voice cut through you and your mates soft conversation. you watch as eris takes on the role of the high lords son, and don's the mask of stone he so often wore around fellow nobles of the court.

"rhysand. i certainly wasn't expecting you here." his eyes narrowed slightly, looking at rhys and feyre, who accompanied him, with a calculating stare. you smile warmly, from what eris has told you, the inner circle will be a crucial part in overthrowing beron.

"its a pleasure to be here. however, there is one thing i personally didnt expect" rhysands eyes slide to you, and you meet his gaze. feyres eyes glimmer knowingly, and she meets your smile with one of her own.

"who is your precious companion, eris?" your lovers eyes narrowed, and he said simply, "none of your business. i suggest you return to the party."

"how cruel. you know, its rude to dismiss your guests" rhysand said almost mockingly, and eris' jaw tightened.

"well, id rather not cause a scene. i guess they must he rather important to you if theyre here. i hope we meet you again, perhaps in a less formal setting" rhysand says to you. with a smirk and a wink in your direction, rhysand turned with feyre beside him and walked away. you looked over at eris, and you could practically see his jaw working itself.

"relax my love. they arent a threat." eris sighs, turning towards you. "hes so fucking irritating" eris mutters, and you cant help but giggle softly.

that night had been the first of four instances in which the inner circle had begun to question you and eris' relationships, and finally eris lost his temper. cassian had cornered him while eris had simply been walking to the library and had begun to interrogate him, and eris has snapped.

"they are my mate you intolerable jackass! can you please fucking leave me alone?" eris spat, fuming in irritation. cassian had burst out laughing, but quickly winnowed away when he noticed eris' murderous expression. angry, frustrated, and overall irritated eris stormed back to your shared courters. when eris recounted the incident to you, you couldnt help but laugh. eris begrudgingly joined you, and cheer filled the room. the inner circle was clearly interested in eris' personal life, and it was hilarious to you the lengths they would go to discover your relationship.

Way-too-long story time: Kokoro to kokoro de is probs my favorite defense club song - its genuinely really emotional. I have a very meaningful memory involving it: like I mentioned before, HK dragged me back into Boueibu hell when it started airing and i went back and downloaded the OVA songs and that one non-sequitur Summer album. I was driving from college to my dad's house for a weekend and it started POURING rain, the most rain I have ever seen - and this is the Seattle area I'm talking about. It was A LOT of rain. So I'm pretty tense while driving, its dark out and pouring rain, traffic was way too fast for how many cars were on the road going through Renton that evening (google 'renton s-curves') and I'd just put my new boueibu songs playlist on - Ole Lovless Oblige had already played and I was HYPED about how much I already loved the new student council. And then Kokoro to kokoro de comes on - now I had heard it before so I knew it kinda well but i hadnt really emotionally connected with it during the OVA bc, ya know, the OVA was Like That. But with all my excitement about HK, and how heightened my emotions were from the insane weather, I start SOBBING listening to this fuckin song - singing along terribly because im crying so hard, trying my best to not completely fuck up driving. That memory feels like a fuckin emotional rebirth for me, it was a dang catabasis. I genuinely cant explain it - i think being able to feel nothing but unbridled joy and excitement about something despite a very stressful environment did something to me. I have never felt a high like that since LMAO

ANYWAY - next week HK!! and then MOVIE AFTER THAT!! Lets fuckin go!
