Fenrir - 8 months

Fen has settled into Washington life - he loves the woods, he can't get enough of snuffling at the ground everywhere he goes, and he's decided splashies (splashing in the creek and lake - NOT swimming even though HE CAN bc he's a big baby) as I've dubbed them, are the best thing in the fucking world.

But he definitely needs to be neutered because his testical still hasn't descended. Which I was pretty much already planning on but I am sad this is something that absolutely must be done, because Fen is actually an incredibly well behaved intact puppy and, from a behavioural perspective, neutering isn't something I would jump to. But, cryptorchidism is genetic, so he absolutely cannot stud, and dogs with cryptorchidism have a much higher chance of testicular cancer than dogs who do not.

So with that decided, I'm hoping removing the testosterone machines will help ease his tendency to hyper-focus on things like reflecting light and cats, as well as some of his over interest in other dogs. He's just so overwhelmingly friendly for other dogs sometimes that he spooks them with how big and exuberant he is. The last time we went to the lake, a little dog lunged at him from underneath a bench and he was so surprised that he tripped over his own feet and fell on his side in the sand. But his tail was wagging and he laid low, even while that little dog snarled and growled at him. He just wants to be friends, even with dogs that want to rip his throat out. He's been socialised since he was 13 weeks old by a group of different dogs almost daily; you'd think he'd be able to read cues a little bit better.

I do love that he's so ridiculously friendly though. I love my big doofus.

Right now, we're working on different ways of getting Fen his exercise - he isn't really into jogging but he does like spending time with me and his natural heal is perfect during jogs. He loves hiking though, and it doesn't take much to wear him out. We're moving into a house with a fenced yard instead of an apartment in October, so I'm really looking forward to setting up some outdoor enrichment for Fen to have regular access to. He's going on his first big Washington hike on Saturday, which is exciting. All good things!

Oh yeah, and he's big now.

I’m open to anything, excluding smut, I suck at it and I’m not much of a fan of smut in general.

HOW LARGE DOES THE AGE GAP HAVE TO BE TO MAKE IT UNCOMFORTABLE?

Well considering I rp him around being about 23-24ish, no muses (or muns) under the age of 18. Above his age though I’d say it starts seeming a bit weird if the muse is about Endeavor’s age, because all it makes me think of is my muse dating someone old enough to be my dad... because I won’t lie Endeavor reminds me alot of my dad and brothers. Which is ironic because I named my baby guinea pig after Endeavor, for reasons that are awful and hilarious for those with a dark sense of humor.

ARE YOU SELECTIVE WHEN SHIPPING?

Yes and no, depending on your definition. As far as lovey dovey feelings and that I am pretty selective because I portray Dabi/Touya as being greyromantic, teetering on aromantic. He doesn’t fall in love easily, he’s hard to hold on to and considering the only ship I have on this blog is something the other mun and I plotted out as building from a childhood friendship I can’t say starting from scratch won’t take a long time.

Friends with benefits or hate sex relationship kind of stuff the muse is all for, so I don’t mind hinting at it or mentioning it in interactions but the other mun would have to talk to me before hand.

HOW FAR DO STEAMY MOMENTS HAVE TO GO BEFORE THEY ARE CONSIDERED N.SFW?

Hmmmm probably as clothes are starting to come of, like pants and what not or hands going below the belt so to speak. Tbh I might have a harder time figuring out what is NSFW and what isn’t because from working in animal care I’m used to stuff like a coworker joking about writing a children’s book about a cryptorchid dog that managed to have a litter of pups (he suggested ‘Waylon and the Successful ...well if you decide to look up cryptorchidism, you’ll figure it out). What do you mean, like how often do I like writing pre-established ships or starting them? Like I’m always game for the pre-established ships or building towards them, but I don’t it when all my interactions are exclusively shippy. Especially not right off the bat since it gets boring and Touya is not a lover so it doesn’t feel realistic.
