It is genuinely tragic that zoro can't actually fight anything anymore. I hate how all his attacks are dramatic charge-ups to one big slash it's the second-worst anime trope ever let my boy do some fighting!!!

#this style of swordfighting in anime bothers me so much #its all tell and no show and genuinely so frustrating to watch #especially for a guy who was raised on the amazing swordfights of the Princess Bride #i get why they do it swordfights are hard #and mangas gonna manga #but still #zoro deserves better #the strength to slice a ship in half is great and all but it should be used sparingly #one piece #roronoa zoro #also to be clear zoro is one of my favorites #hes currently a bit low in the rankings because he wasnt very funny in wano #and that made him more of an asshole #but when he starts being funny again hell shoot back up i promise you that
