im kind of obsessed w matoba in Jail arc and here. coldreading absolutely no actual like. convo w natsume abt this bc natsume rightly refuses to engage when he fishes around it lol. but just zeroing in on natsume's fear of the fujiwaras finding out about what he sees being bc they'd find out what kind of /danger/ hes been in that they cant protect him from. like more than anything else abt the secret and its implications that IS why natsume still hides it
