Matsuda headcanons

I have no idea if any of you care in the slightest but, here's some of my favorite Matsuda headcanons :) (and the ones that I usually use in fan art/fanfic with him)

-Matsuda is a transboy who tries super hard to look manly

-His family was made up of assheads. They never used his preferred name and pronouns (even after he fully transitioned) they'd also never let him eat sweets, due to him gaining weight easily

-He has a squishy tum and thicc thighs

-Matsuda is bisexual, and has a crush on Light, L and Misa

-Even though he liked them, he always kept his mouth shut in fear of being judged

-He also never told anyone about him being trans, they figured it out on their own (since he isn't very discreet)

-He is very smart, he just doesn't like thinking too much, it gives him a headache

-Matsuda loves houseplants, and has an abundance of them. Some of them even have names. His favorite flowers are lillies, and he also likes cactuses

-I've already mentioned that he's a cat lady ;)

-He also has a super big, fluffy dog (probably a Saint Bernard) that likes to sleep directly on top of him

-He never had many friends, which is why he started collecting houseplants

-He was good friends with the Yagami children, and Soichiro or Sachiko would often send Light or Sayu to his house to deliver him food, since he usually forgot to take care of himself

-Everyone in the task force actually really likes him, they just don't admit it openly due to them not realizing that he is lonely

-Matsuda loves Sailor Moon, and named his dog Rei after sailor Mars (this also. Contributed to him naming his fifteen cats after planets) 

-Matsuda tends to get hella cramps, and very discreetly uses Mogi as a heating pad due to Mogi being large and warm (and not particularly caring) 

-He's a memey little fucker

-He has amazing balance, and is super flexible (and great at gymnastics ;))

-He's a screamer ;)

1. Your first OC ever?

Well I guess the first “oc” I can remember is this sonnavabitch, Black Cat and boy I wanna die this was one of the 2 big joint projects my bully-who-retended-to-be-my-friend-sometimes collaborated with me on. We were both very into Teen Titans and we ended up literally just making a teen titans rip off with like self insert ocs kinda thingies and this was my girl… 

she’s not gone though,,.. Over the years she’s transformed into this hunkin babe, Ayame!!!:

 4. A character you rarely talk about?

Oh jeez dude where do I even START??? Some I can barely talk abt bc they are barely based the design state of character making :( 

26. Have you ever had to change your OC’s design or something else about them against your will?

Yea, it was Ayame actually! I never really talked about Black Cat but over time she morphed a bit in my mind and basically looked like that pink cat villain from Teen Titans Trouble in Tokyo - at my first convention in 2011 I got my first commission from a really rad guy and I tried my best to explain what she looked like and he got it COMPLETELY WRONG! But my unusually pissy child self was ELATED when I saw it bc I thought it was fantastic and better than any design I coulda come up with

 so I played it off like this is perfect (which is kinda is lmao) thank you so much! Over the years she’s grown with some modifications into the lovely woman she is today 

Funny story about that guy tho: he was like you’re good enough to be on DA and stuff like that I’m like wow you really think so ?? (I didn’t know what DA actually had before then lmao thank god my slow ass never got one) so he saved my life but also nearly put me at jeopardy of more humiliation thanks Matt

 50. Give me the good ol’ OC talk here. Talk about anything you want

Oh lordY where do I begin. I have too many OCs I wish I could draw and create their stories and personalities like I can with a select few :( but I love them all. Too many to count and even more on the way kill me now (let’s see we got: Ayame, Robin, Tobi, Arabella, Star, Domino, Dani, Holly, May, Gigi, Squishy, Fellange, Mynte, Dusza Hjerte, my Work in Progress Latino transboy coming soon (nameless), my Boxsona and dragonsona thingies (both nameless), this lumpy Anglerfish mermaid in the works (nameless), these 2 other mermaids I’ve only drawn once wanted to draw again and never did but I still like them (nameless), and my Trollsona if that even counts. So far, they even trump my oldest daughter, May and Gigi appear to be the most developed personality wise and story wise AND aren’t a merciless pain in the ass to draw design so I feel like they get an unfair amount of attention, definitely recently >n
