Don't mind him humming a song that's... quite popular. Hey they were in the Entity's realm but the Entity seemed to not mind giving them access to things outside of the realm that most of them would still know! The trial was going to start soon perhaps for all he knew but Ace was there humming. The song though was something that's been around for awhile... Girlfriend by Avril Lavigne was a good song okay!

There was no easy answer. At least, not one that might bring her immediate comfort. In truth, it had taken him a very long time to be able to handle everything immortality threw at them. There was always a weight to solve all the impending doom the rest of the world faced. How could they feed the hungry? How could they end wars? In what ways could they benefit medicine? It went on and on, unending on the sense of responsibility thrusted on them all.

"It is difficult," He admits. Chaos, death, and hurt. It only grew with intensity with year century that passed and humans grew more capable of horrors. Nicky and the others did what they could but they were not the natural state of things. They were an exception. Sometimes, you had to allow things to be in their natural order. People would die, war would happen, and things would hurt. They could only ease as much suffering as they could and help as many as their long lives would allow. It might never feel like enough but in reality, they were doing their best with the opportunity given to them.

There is a slight pause as Nicky's gaze drops as if remembering something quite far away, "I try to rectify my own mistakes and take every opportunity to grow. If there's one thing Sunstra has learned in her apparently short time as a vampire, it's that what Malee is saying is true. Even if she doesn't enjoy it most of the time. She's not innocent, obviously, but she tries her best to be a good vampire. If such a thing even exists.

"Safer doesn't always mean better, though," she says, after a few moments of silent contemplation. Arguing with Malee isn't really a good idea, but Sunstra isn't one to give up a good debate between friends. At least...she hopes Malee is her friend. "I've seen how miserable the Mikaelsons are, and they all live by that philosophy. I think I'd rather be happy, you know?"

would Katherine fight vecna and if so, who would win 👁️👁️. would she have a song to snap out of 👁️👁️ how would she react to the shadow monster, or possessed will byers 👁️👁️

This is a super interesting question. Especially since I keep it a crossover and not an AU-

So what we have to take into consideration here is that Katherine isn't a human so we aren't 100% sure how Vecna's powers would work on her? Katherine in peak condition, shes fed recently ect, is a 500 year old vampire that's learned how to keep witches and vampires out of her head to a certain extent. (Like when she tells Bonnie she's gonna have to do better than that bc shes been around a long time) so she has some resistance to psychic/magic infiltration. So unlike most of the hawkins residents- she has that advantage, and Vecna's strongest attacks rely on getting in people's heads.

With her super speed and strength she could easily out do him in a physical fight. I do not think that she would be immune to his powers, the boi is like super psychic and very powerful- So with her resistance I think she could catch him off guard a little bit, but if she doesn't finish him off then and he tries a stronger attack on her I don't think she would last long. Especially not since if he actually gets in her head there is a LOT to feed off of to take her down. So- could she beat him? Potentially in the early game- if not then? Then she would lose the long term fight assuming he did get into her head.

If Katherine were to find the information that a song can snap her out of a Vecna trance- I 100% would say her song would be one that reminds her of Stefan. Because her whole point of surviving is for love, and Stefan has always been her greatest love. Being set in the 80's I would say something Bon Jovi.

The shadow monster is.... large.... and Katherine doesn't really entertain fights she doesn't think she can win- survival and all that. So she would peace the fuck out of there really really fast for the shadow monster. A demogorgon She'd probably beat up- but not the shadow monster....

As for possessed Will? Depends on the interaction? If she's trying to get information from him im sure it wouldn't be pleasant. If she's just like- seeing him she's most likely going to assume he has the plague and someone should put him down. (not her tho, shes got other shit to do.)
