The other day I read a His Dark Materials/Northern Lights/The Golden Compass AU and I started to imagine Jasico with dæmons. Some ideas:

-Jason’s dæmon is probably a golden eagle. Her name is Aurea. Please, call her Aury

-Nico’s dæmon is a black cat. You can bet she is. Her name is Ombra.

-In the hug scene, Aurea wants physical contact to Ombra but she knows Ombra doesn’t like it (like Nico), so she stand on the floor, in front of Ombra, at a permissive distance. Ombra only sighs and goes to Aurea and gives her a headbutt. 

-A golden eagle can carry 4 kg or more of weight. The ideal weight of a domestic cat is between 3'6 and 4'5 kg. You can bet Aurea, after Jason and Nico start dating, start to carry Ombra flying in her claws. 

Every time. To Everywhere. 

Ombra just lets her do, with a disappointment look, but she doesn’t complain either. Ombra secretly likes it, but that’s not something that Aurea should know. 

She is a cat, she is the dæmon of a son of Hades, she has a reputation.

-The first time Aurea carry Ombra was in Croatia. She just grabbed her and when they returned to the floor, Ombra clawed Aurea.

The Voltron AU/Crossover is great because that means that Jason and Nico have been known for years and have a unique and beautiful trust bonding like Shiro and Keith.

And this is just so wonderful.

I feel blessed with this AU/Crossover.

I sincerely hope that, in the future, the cannons Jason and Nico can reach a similar level of sincere trust and beautiful camaraderie that Shiro and Keith have.

It wouldn't be exactly the same dynamics as Shiro and Keith, because Jason and Nico have a different story, but I sincerely wish they will have something as similar as possible to what Shiro and Keith have.

A part of me desperately wants Solangelo to break up just because the fandom slow down a bit. 

This ship is my NOTP but I would not bother so much if almost all the damn fandom would not treat it like "The perfect ship that everyone should love and that doesn't have a fault." 

Solangelo is a good ship by itself but it has faults fandom, it has them.
