Doc and Doccy! finally finished!

For the new people, I was apart of the HermitCraft Colouring book Zine that you all can download and fill out yourself as well! (Transparent files in this one)

took the time to actually sit down and finish this one after getting settled in from the move, so enjoy the first finished art I made in my new house!

I thought, you know as a way to chill as I feel like a cold is coming to me, that I'd do some colouring (specifically the 'Help PET Post' piece from the new Hermitcraft colouring book by @coloringwithhermits it's so cool you should check it out).

It really reminds me of how much I used to paint with watercolours and especially pieces of art one of my high school friends used to make. I don't have those paintings anymore after moving almost 220 miles across the country but this is giving me the same feeling.

Now I'm not an artist at all so I didn't expect to spend a lot of time on the piece. And then I got too into it and I'm kinda proud of it, so far. Especially the sculk sensor despite its kinda rough look.

Mumbo!

As a dragonet, he always loved puzzles and machines and creating things, and finding little opportunity for that in the rainforest, he decided to leave so he could do more of what he loved. Fearing that dragons wouldn’t take him seriously due to being a RainWing, he decided to disguise himself as a SkyWing. His disguise is very easy to see through, but it has worked well enough and he has built a good reputation for himself as a vault designer. He met Grian when they were both commissioned to design a rich dragon’s mansion (as an architect and vault designer respectively) and have been friends ever since!

He has also, unfortunately, been stuck with the name “Mumbo Jumbo” ever since.

The Frost Citadel

Propaganda : decked out is not only an incredible build on the OUTSIDE, with a great colour scheme and a lot of detail, it's also a hugely important build for the season in general - being the place most people would hang out for the last few months of the server - and importantly a redstone MASTERPIECE. how did this man create literally an entire game with a point buy system and effect cards and randomised threats in minecraft?! like this is vanilla. i think the only mod used was for the disc system and even then he was ready to run that without mods. on so many levels this is such a fantastic build.

The Winter Cabin

Propaganda : techno and phil's cabins are THE build they're what minecraft is to me maybe not impressive or huge. they use common materials. there's no redstone mechanics. but they're what minecraft is about: making a place yours. making something with your friend. genuinely the most meaningful build in my opinion because it was simple and cozy and made sense for these characters! the stable with carl right in front. the dog house. the soft glow of the beacon. the fact their cabins are connected. similar but not the same. that's my propaganda op. that these cabins sum up what makes minecraft so lovely. and are a great memory for techno. | It's cozy and safe. The perfect hideaway for anyone looking to plan revenge and hold political book clubs. Includes three main houses and a giant training area. It has many adorable animals, including Steve. A polar bear.

Interest Check!

Please respond regardless of the timing of the event! Assume that it would happen when you are most available for purposes of the Interest Check.

I've had this idea for a few months and wanna see if anyone would be up for it. It's just how it sounds. It's a colouring book themed around Hermitcraft, Empires and the Life Series! Artists would make lineart of characters, backgrounds, maybe comics if they wanted and ships. Anything goes as long as it's SFW!!! (Some things may be included as well depending on how many people are interested such as separated sections for things like gore, aus, etc. It all depends.)

Since it's a colouring book, artists who just want to colour, those who don't have time to make art themselves, and those who don't/can't make art themselves will be able to have a whole book of their fandom to colour and add stuff to!

Just wanted to see if anyone would want this, or if this is a waste of time lol. I think it'd be fun for tons of people so I wanted to share :)

Slowly getting through the 'Help PET Post Deliver Mail' from @coloringwithhermits

Tumblr's kinda messed up the quality a lil and it's not 100% complete yet (as you can tell by Pearl's hair) but it's been fun to take the time to really get into the details.

I spent way too long on the skulk sensor and crystals, especially with the glow from the larger blue crystal. Could it be better? Probably but I'm happy with it as it is.

Can you tell that I found one brush that I really liked and used it for the rest of the piece?

It was such a good moment when Grian finally got his well deserved Mending book. I'm a bit late to the party but here you go a little Gem and Grian as they are the water peeps this season.

There is so much in my mind lately but Hermitcraft has been such a safe space ♡♡♡ I'm sure many people would agree.
