So basically hermitcraft reverse harem au.

It’s got an either dystopian or fantasy setting, but either way there’s something making girls really rare (hence three hermitgals to like 20 hermitboys). Because of this women are allowed to do/have pretty much whatever they want provided that they don’t let the human race go extinct. Meanwhile, men are seen as expendable and get assigned jobs to benefit society- unless they marry a woman, in which case their job is doing whatever the woman wants them to do (and helping not let the human race go extinct).

So the hermitgals are ofc best friends w the hermitboys, but the boys are abt to be assigned jobs, which will leave them very little time for hangin’ out and chillin’. The girls are like “hm thats bad” and come up with a plan- they’re just gonna marry like seven boys each and then they don’t have to be without them! Women having multiple husbands isn’t rare just bc there are so many more men than women, but seven is kinda pushing it. So they have to convince whoever’s in charge of letting people get married that they’re gonna use the boys for their Intended Purposes and not just friendship (they’re totally just gonna be friends with them. Fuckin owned.)

Ofc there’s gonna be some govt. official who’d rather the boys be used as labor and the girls matched with more “genetically fit” men, so they try to delegitimize the marriages before they can go through. This means the girls have to prove they love ALL their boys, with lots of shenanigans and honestly quite obviously fake romantic displays. Eventually they get to marry all their boys though. 

The harems are:

Stress gets Grian, Mumbo, Scar, Iskall, Bdubs, Beef, and Ren

False gets Wels, Xisuma, Impulse, xB, Jevin, and Hypno

Cleo gets Joe, Keralis, Zed, Tango, Doc, Etho, and Cub

Maybe some of them are involved romantically, but most of them are just buds. Also this allows for mutual pining between two people who are literally married. 

Also when they do eventually have kids they’re gonna be spoiled af. 7-8 parents who love them sm. Lucky bastards
