#I love beetles all my usernames are named after beetles#I've tried finding a source/reference pic for this description but I cant :[.. I'll have to look into it on my own time#also a hercules beetle in particular is interesting!#hercules beetles like (most big beetles) are known for fighting each other for mating rights#beetles are also a shorthand for heroes. but in a very tokusatsu kinda way because a lot of little kids catch beetles for beetle fights#now that I think about it Robo-Ky does have a lot of tokusatsu sensibilities- even down to his name#lot of stuff about Robo-Ky just clicked in my head at once through the lens of Beetle Knowledge#much to think about#guilty gear
