✘ is ‘Any head canons you’d like to imply on you character but know they wouldn’t fit?’

That jazz music relaxes Yukari a lot and she’s specifically fond of band jazz. But it would imply Yukari has something she loves, instead of soft liking towards Tea Ceremony, fashion and being a dickhead sometimes. At least it wouldn’t work in my main verse, since she struggles with precisely that: Her interest in things being somewhat effusive (with minimal likes toward stuff) and lack of passion.

How much time they’ve been roleplaying helps. Although I mostly decide on how interesting the interactions would be and how much drama they have around them.

He refuses to repress memories; no, in his mind, he’s come too far to grips with his own demons and his own problems to allow them to fade. And yet there are those that still enter into the wells of his conscience and bubble up frosted trauma that sends chills up his spine.

He can still hear her screaming.

He can still hear her screaming.

Each day and each night, he attempts to tell himself that he’s over it — yes, he understands full-well that his mother is dead; that he watched her die; that he watched them stab her, mindlessly, cruelly, each cut of the blade etching an unforgettable sound that punctured into his own mind and his own memory even to this day. He tries to forget about it — oh, so often he tries to forget about it; no, not the memory that it happened; no, not any of the faces of the twisted, disgusting men who took her away from him; no; he’d come to understand that she was dead; she was gone; nothing — nothing — was going to bring her back.

But he understood too much. He knew too much. He tried to pretend as though he was invincible — bulletproof — as though each stab and each cry and each godawful, sickening laugh didn’t affect him. He tried to remove himself from the fact that it was trauma; stitch up infected wounds and pretend it would not fester beneath his skin. He tried to be strong; instead, he was only foolish; instead, he was only weak. He tried to detach himself from the emotions he felt — the tears he cried, the black gash that tore away his heart, the childish innocence bleeding from him every moment she bled out all the same — and in doing so, he suffered.

He would cry himself awake at night at the thought of her — at the metallic sound of the blade in her juxtaposed with the dark, awful cacophony of Snagem’s arrogant laughter at her death. He could hear her beg for her life; he could hear the mistake of his own bravery and arrogance and the plea she made to spare Wes rather than she, and he could feel his resolve crumble at the fact that it was his fault. He would cry; he would shake; he would wake himself with shouts and cold sweats, only Eo and only Umo there to awaken him and lick away at his cold skin and curl up beside him to warm him. He would wake himself with instinctive scratches with his dull-cut fingernails that still left raised skin and the occasional starburst of blood, and he was eleven again, mute and trembling, thousands upon thousands of screams and questions held back behind a threshold of his own closed throat.

Yes, he remembers everything about the forsaken night it happened, but far be it that he can forget his same skin fourteen years prior, trembling and quaking and seized still as his amber eyes are forced to watch her die.

And he can still hear her screaming.

卐 is “Worst role play-related encounter and what advice you would give to others to avoid similar situations?“

Drama I had way way back. I was just starting in tumblr, I think I had less than a year here. But it was mostly because of my own stupidness and partially because of douchey people. The only advice I could give about it is that you shouldn’t think anyone here owes you anything besides courtesy and that you should try to talk to people before passing judgement on them. Sometimes is your own shit was stabs you on the back.

I think I should mention lumi here. She’s currently roleplaying Lillie from Pokemon Sun/Moon @herbloom. I can’t remember the first time I’ve met her, not right now at least (My memory is excessively selective, sorry), but reading her stuff forced me to step up my english. I’ve never been in an academy so that’s why my writing sometimes seems a bit broken but I had to do it. I felt that I had to work on it to not disgrace our threads.
