I am so glad you did, I just really love this show so much. And if you like "Ever Fallen Head Over Heels" then you should read Heraldsmith by @thesolarangel

Okay but the angst was of this ship if you have them established and use Celebrimbor dieing and Elrond having brought an army but still unable to save him from the book canon, than the tragedy of khazad dum slowly dimming the bright young elf we see in the show to the version we have in the movies. I just the chokehold Rop!Elrond has me in is unreal.

The pain I would feel would be unimaginable ✨

Omg yes that one was so good! I love all of us having Elrond being so very thirsty and pent up. And the way that Heraldsmith has Elrond take the lead is beautiful.

A tiny fluff fanfic

In the garden: Heraldsmith Epilogue

Rating: G tooth-rooting-fluff

Elrond is first to arrive. Eregion’s lush garden presented itself with an abundance of blooming flowers, rare healing herbs and numerous kinds of dense green trees. He had visited here a few times before, mostly to seek solitude in this bustling city and write his texts in privacy. But not a single time he was left sated with observing the beauty the garden had to offer. He found great comfort in these gardens and they supplied him with inspiration and creativity.

There was a secret sitting area in the back beneath a pergola with a wisteria entwined around it. Flourishing purple blossoms everywhere. The shine of several lanterns covered every surface with warm orange light, now that it was past sundown.

Elrond sits down on a chaise. He was feeling a little nervous, even though there was no rational reason for it. But he did just pour out his deepest feelings to Celebrimbor… and he wonders what comes next for them… Elrond really wanted to kiss him again, feel his hands on him… 

Celebrimbor stepped into the pergola with two glasses and a silver wine decanter in hand. “Hello again, my dear Elrond.” he greets him affectionately, putting everything down on a small table next to Elrond. 

“Hello.” Elrond replies, slightly flustered, when he realises he got caught dreaming about Celebrimbor. They may have shared an intimate moment together, but this didn’t keep Elrond from being a little shy around the elf lord who he felt very strongly towards.

Celebrimbor settles next to Elrond on the chaise. He turns to the herald, takes his hand into his own and gives him a lingering kiss on the cheek. Pulling away to look at Elrond, he finds the half-elf smiling lovingly and watching him with anticipation. Now Elrond leans forward and closes the gap between them to kiss Celebrimbor. 

They share a few tender kisses, until Celebrimbor pauses and puts his forehead gently against Elrond’s and rests it there for a few seconds.

Celebrimbor asks Elrond to share some of his creative endeavours and so Elrond recites his latest poetry. He presents a beautiful lyric that speaks of nature and of friendship. Celebrimbor is utterly transfixed by him, watching his every expression, not wanting to miss anything. 

They sit and talk like this for hours, enjoying each other's company, drinking some wine, laughing, whispering sweet things into each other's ears, holding hands. This moment could go on forever…
