14 years since Never Been Kissed aired. Did you watch it live? Where were you? Did you think it would be the start of something major - one of your favorite ever ships?

Ohh, interesting question!

It's kind of funny to try to remember details of something that did happen nearly fifteen years ago. the tl:dr version of how I started watching Glee was that I wasn't in a great place in Mar of 2010, and a friend of mine had given me the DVD of Glee S1 Part 1 (because that's a thing that happened back then.

And I watched it and I was, meh, it was fine. I mean, DSB gave me literal chills. But I didn't really connect with any of the characters (and omg did I find Terri and Ken annoying). And it's funny, Kurt I had a hard time with -- not at all because of the gay thing, but because his crush on Finn hit a little too close to home and I was still a little sensitive about how I was during high school.

Anyway, the same friend said we should start watching the show together - so I started going over to watch it with her. We watched the rest of Season 1 together. And maybe the first half of Season 2? I definitely watched the first four-ish episodes with her. I think (?) I must have watched NBK with her.

The ONLY thing I remember from my first time watching was the forced kiss between Kurt and Karofsky. It was THAT shocking. Like, WHOA what is happening???

The only real thing I remember about Blaine was that my friend had told me that Kurt was supposed to be getting a boyfriend, and we all wondered if it was going to be Sam (because Duets did give that tiny-ish set-up). And when Blaine showed up, it was one of those - oh, is it this dude? type things.

I did not like Season 2 when it was first airing, Nonny. I'll be honest with you about it. The thing I've since learned about RM and his shows, he often fills them with a lot of unlikable characters who are often ridiculously dramatic. And it just wasn't my thing. But also remember, the show focused hard on Rachel, Finn, Quinn, Puck, Sue, and Will (and Emma). Like -- not my favorite characters. At all.

It's one reason I appreciate the later seasons, because characters I like got more focus, and it just became super weird and super queer and that's just more to my taste.

But anyway -- I kind of only watched sporadically after the first few weeks. I caught Silly Love Songs - because I remember thinking after Kurt and Blaine have their When Harry Met Sally convo, oh yeah, they'll get these two together.

I have zero memory of watching Original Song for the first time. Which I just have, because I knew Klaine was together after that point. But I did miss most of the second half of Season 2.

No, I had zero idea I'd love Klaine as hard as I did (do). I can tell you I remember the exact moment I fell in love with Klaine, though. I decided to catch up on Season 3 because I missed the first half (and hilariously - I was actually enjoying Season 3 more than Season 2 at the time, wild right?) and it was The First Time, and it was the auditorium scene, and it was this moment.

And really, just Kurt saying -- I'm just a silly romantic, and Blaine saying it wasn't silly, and just kissing him. And, my god nonny, it made my cold, dead heart come alive. It took my breath away.

And then, I mean, I rewatched the full series again, and really got into the Klaine of it, and got into fandom, and as much as fandom was a headache -- and my god it was a headache -- I think that's why I stayed with Glee for so long? It was something to have fun with and explore and write about and talk to people about and there was the insanity of week to week, and it was wild - I mean really wild, but it's what made the show fun. Because, I mean, I love the show - but it's a mess.

And I'm constantly amazed new people come in for it, because sometimes it feels like there's a -- you had to be there -- to get it, lol.

But, I mean, did I think I'd be here, fifteen years later, still talking about how it impacted me? Not even a little bit. :)

I want to genuinely understand Vecna/Henry's motives. This might sound stupid, but I don't get him. This charcter's story revolves around the fact that he feels too strong to be a limited, petty human and that he doesn't "agree" with time and life/death rules, given the fact that he's insanely powerful. But he gets to achieve that, after is fight with baby Eleven, he's sent to the Upside Down, a place with no time or life/death rules like the world he comes from, and he's turn into a whole new creature, leaving his humanity behind. He gets what he wants. So I would very much like a satisfactory explanation of why he wants to go back to Hawkins, because that's the whole plot of S4 and after how little he thinks of humans I refuse to believe that he just wants revenge against Eleven because that's not only human, that's plain basic. So please Duffers explain ?¿?¿?¿?¿

I want Nancy Wheeler to be full and whole and a l o n e. I would very much like the show to bitch slap everyone who plainly focuses on who is Nancy going to end up with when season after season she's struggling to be strong and independent and competent in everything she does, so I would very much like for her to just be happy with herself and not having people around her that makes her slow her pace.

Would very much love if writers wouldn't be afraid of finishing characters arcs by ending up in death. I'm sorry, it's not that I don't want this to happen because I love the boy with all my heart and he's by far my fav, but for example, if Steve dies his arc is complete. I won't expand the reasons because that will be for another long ass text post, but he was intended to die and they're extending the character, first because Keery's amazing performance in s1, and second because after s2 he became insanely loved and they can't afford to kill such a beloved character (like they didn't kill Hopper in s3) before the shows has a clear end.

I want Karen to do something. Anything. Also, Holly. That'd be precious. I'd love to see her team up with Joyce and bring back the powerful badass character she used to be in s1. Mommy Killer Team (that might include Steve if he's not left to his own devices).

I don't want to bring Eddie Munson back to life. I'm sorry. I know after the Steve death and this Eddie thing I may earn some unfollows but. Let him stay dead. Bring Joseph Quinn back, yes, in flashbacks or stuff, but keep Eddie dead. Don't turn the teary s4 end into a fucking prank. Please, I beg. I don't want to see the fandom all angry (again) because for two years we've been making it better with art and fanfics and headcanons and love to make justice for the Eddie's demise that the show so unashamedly delivered. Please, don't make the fandom look like clowns.

For Steve exclusively (as a bonus) I'd love to a) see him wielding the nailed bat again, b) become Max's legal big brother and c) to have a great ending.

can I just start with how funny it is that blaine's personality changed from well blaine to darren? Like at first he's this smooth talker suave handsome guy and then he's just... a dude? I know it's talked about a lot but it is just THAT funny.

Rewatching season 5 rn and honest to god I didn't remember a single plot point from this season. And rightly so it's so chaotic (as is most glee) I know they stopped caring at this point lmao. Like what's up with artie doing 3 girls at once?? And blaine's jealous of kurt cause he's getting muscular?? And RACHEL LEAVES FUNNY GIRL??? Like what is even happening.

Also remembering things i forgot on my rewatch: the twerking episode has a plot. I totally forgot that I always thought of it as just the twerking epsiode and while i was watching it I was like "oh it actually has kinda good plot"

Very true! Especially compared s2!blaine to s4!blaine, it’s like a whole ‘nother level. Even before in s2, there were hints there with his romantic gesture to the gap guy, but later on, he started to get less “classy” to say the least haha.

Season 5 is actually where I stopped. Exactly at the 20th ep. It’s very weird. And the stuff with Blaine, I feel like seeing Kurt in his footing made him insecure (not that he wasn’t already but you get it). While I don’t like how he handled it and the way he acted, I can relate to feeling insecure and being a little jealous of even the closest people around me.

And the Artie plot was so funny to watch. I did really like him with Kitty tho so rip to them.

Rachel leaving Funny Girl especially is ridiculous. Her whole arc was getting into Broadway and being a star. And then fast forward to season 6 and apparently she left for a goddamn tv show and is stuck in Lima like wtf. Anyways, S1 & S4 Rachel was superior all I’ve gotta say.

The twerking one was also so icky. Like no teacher in real life would be condoning this. Not to mention, last I checked, didn’t Schue twerk on those minors??? I can’t believe I’m actually siding with Sue here but…

As for why I ship Quartie, I actually didn’t ship them when I first watched but I loved their dynamic. Seeing @thomas-the-goat-of-satan and other tumblr users talking about them made me love Quartie more.

I just love how happy Quinn was around Artie. Probably the happiest she ever was around a man lmao. And I love how they both bond when Quinn was paralyzed and the way Artie seemed to challenge her.

Being someone who is wheelchair bound, I feel like he prides himself on being self sufficient and learning basic cooking skills is something he'd take the time to learn. I don't think it would be gourmet or anything, but i do think it would give tasty comfort food

Coming in at #6 I put, and this might be controversial, Santana Lopez! Listen. One thing about mexicans is that we know how to cook. Something just happens and i truly believe it's in out genes but one day you just sort of wake up and realize that you don't burn your hand flipping tortillas on the grill, and i feel like those skills would translate really well to a christmas/thanksgiving dinner--especially all the traditional mexican holiday dishes? i think she'd secretly take a lot of comfort in making those for her found family

Breaching the top 5 at #5 is Tina Cohen-Chang! I feel like she's done it a couple of times with her own family and probably helped out in the kitchen growing up, just to be helpful. Generally, she seems pretty competent too so there's that

#4 goes to my beloved Sam Evans. My man practically had to raise his siblings, there is not a doubt in my mind that he already HAS made a whole ass holiday meal with what he could and it probably came out fucking delicious too! It Just Makes Sense!!

Alright up in the #3 slot is yet another one of my faves, the puppetmaster himself, Blaine Devon Anderson! Cooking pancakes for his fiance in the morning?? Our runner up, taking her place firmly at the #2 slot is the Queen of McKinley, the one, the only Quinn Fabray! This one also Just Makes Sense. She was primed from a young age to basically be a trophy wife. Which. Hate that for her but I wouldn't doubt her mom had her prepping the sides at like, age ten. Her parents def would trot her skills out like a trick pony and show off how well she can "provide" for a future husband or some shit like that. Anyway, i like to think she uses these skills to make holiday dinners for those who don't have anywhere else to go <3

TTG go makes jokes about Dick being an all suffering loser and it works (bc its usually self inflicted and played up in a lighthearted way), the harley quinn show tries and its too lame to watch :/ (theres nothing more cringey then showing someone experiencing something genuinely awful and telling the audience they should laugh at it)

Honestly, it's one of the top reasons why i dropped the hq show. I wanna try watching it again but s2 put me off so badly.

1) dont make yet another dc project thats supposed to be about someone else be about batman again!! Also a part of why i refuse to give the newest flash movie the time of day (that, and live action superhero movies tend to suck ass, and the lead actor is just downright awful)

2) nightwing shouldnt even be this prominent in a harley show, and hes just being mocked for some of the darkest parts of his history that were beyond his control? It makes him out to be whiney, but specifically bc hes traumatized. Serious things like flashbacks and panic attacks are very hard to make funny, and hqs failed intensely.

3) the deaging of most of the female characters. Its just insulting. A bit misogynistic. Introducing babs and dick as the same age and just meeting as college age adults, making babs batgirl when damian is robin instead of when dick was robin, the way they mixed up the ages make it impossible for steph to have ever been batgirl, erasing the possibility for her or cass to have any significant role, erasing oracle.

4) the bats are there for marketing. I refuse to believe anyone who gives half a shit about any of them wouldve made such a cluster fuck. It was cute and funny when they were used for one off gags in season one, like damian trying to make harley his nemesis. But the larger role they took after s1 is a god awful insult to all of them.

The problem isnt that the bats are there, its that theyre all poorly written and take time away from the actual main characters that i was watching the show for. Sorry for ranting, but its something that frustrates me ceaselessly.

Hey question asker! Thanks for asking. It's been long since somebody asked me. I never thought about this question because I solely love Kurt Hummel only with Blaine, Puck, Mike and such. I actually have no ranking for girls as well as boys. But let's see.

In order to get myself away from less trouble, let me rank it in s1-3 and then s4-s6

1.Tina Cohen Queen Chang

She has more plus for me than minus. I am not saying because I am an asian myself but she takes the cake. She sings well(underrated girl), she dances well(they put her in grp A:Better dancers in "Ice Ice Baby") and she is an unsung hero: sewing costumes for and members. She accepted many things without a say. I can feel her emotions.

2.Mercedes Jones

She is a less problematic character. Her smile is just out of the world. She just wonna sing and succeed in her life. I am glad she didn't end up with anybody because she showed me that it's okay to be without a partner. Sometimes, solitude let's you achieve more. I am subjective about her voice but Human nature is my favourite. Her duo with Kurt lit up my screen in early seasons. I didn't like her in Troubletones. It brought worst of everybody.

3. Quinn Fabray

This is somewhat unpopular now. But I prefer her. She started as a normal high school cheerleading head with head weight and had almost everything she wanted. But once she got pregnant, the harsh reality of life hit her life rock. She was pulled down many times after a development but she was a work in process. She learnt that there was life after high school. And she sticking with nd in s3 after Troubletone was formed warmed my heart.

Also, she is one of my favourite voices. She"?'s got stage presence.

I am going to kill myself for ranking these people after this. They had good moments but I disliked them some times.

4. Santana Lopez

She is really ,"darling, I'm a nightmare dressed like a daydream". She is Charming, hot (yes, I'll admit) but she was a little Satan. But I survived the NYC plot because of Kurt and her. Until that famous funny girl fight came.

Her rants were okay sometimes, but it got worse in later seasons. She started to rant just because she wanted too. But she was a better friend. She is one of the people who will be like," I can roast my friends like barbeque but I can only roast."

And anybody who says Kurt cried for unnecessary reasons, think of this girl who cried for cutting tanning privileges and for calling out she was mean.

Her voice is subjective too for me.

5. Lauren Zizes

She was nice addition to nd when Kurt left. Plus, Ashley Fink has good comedic timing and is charming. I love her attitude where she didn't give 2 shit about what other people said but she lowkey was a bully too.

Her voice isn't for singing but she is entertaining.

6.Rachel Berry

Her whole character started as somebody who will do anything to achiever her cake. I didn't care about her most of the times but she she really got on my nerves in later seasons. I felt like slapping her multiple times. She doesn't want to listen to anybody, she sent a person to a crack house just because she was threatened, she threw many people under the bus for no reason. She is one of the worse dancers too.

She was annoying downright at nyada and successses were served in her plate. I know she was work g hard but she had to let her work speak, not her mouth. I still can't digest that Rachel kept pestering Carmen when Kurt waited patiently. He did go to Carmen for second chance, but at least he did his first audition better, and he took effort to make a video tape if him singing another song(wake me up before you go go in acoustic version is pretty questionable though).

I was so happy that her tv pilot failed and she became slightly better. Also confusing your boyfriend about his career when he was already confused just so he could be with you?Nope for me.

I do t know how people love her and hate Kurt.

Her songs are totally subjective .

7. Brittany S. Pierce

I don't like her for some reason. She was bland for me. Not interesting. And I don't care for Brittana. Also she posted a sex tape of herself and girlfriend and got away. She kept dating people, she didn't have a stable mind on loving people. Also, her lines were sometimes hilarious but they were insulting.

9. Sugar Motta

Sugar Motta was... There. That's it. She was just a cash cow. She was funny sometimes but she is not for me.

Now for s4-s6

1. Unique Addams

The love child of Kurt and Mercedes. I liked her among later season nd members. She is a diva but she didn't throw people under her bus. Much like Kurt. I like her voice. I didn't like her catfishing but she was ok.

2. Tina Cohen Chang

I think Kurt and Santana are the ones I have the least problems with, musical catalogue wise, bc at least their songs were fewer and further between so they hit harder. Plus there's actually like a lot of variety in their styles. which again could just seem like a personal matter bc like someone else could say that all kurt's songs are just old broadway standards that blend together but like that's what i like and what i know lmao so they stand out more to me from song to song. yknow???

How I feel about this character:  I do not hate her - hell, as a kid I used to like her (mostly because JL was pretty). I think people enjoy hating on both her and JLS a little bit too much, like the whole "everyone treats her like she's perfect" not really?? That basically stopped in S2, and then her bad behaviour basically just goes uncommented on. The main issue I have is how unequal her relationship with Chase is, and even then compared to Lizzie and Gordo (very clearly the blueprint for this show, especially in S1) Zoey seems absolutely infatuated with Chase compared to Lizzie's very platonic vibe. She's mostly fine in S1, and really she's fine in any episode where she's shown to actually care about Chase as a person.

But the rest of the time she is incredibly rude, and a lot of that is because JL is incapable of bringing any softness or warmth to her as the show goes on, so you get one designated "Choey" episode where she acts like she likes him and then the next one she's completely contemptuous; sometimes this is even scene by scene. That's not completely her fault, she is the most underwritten character because female protagonists in Dan's shows rarely get quirks which is what he thinks characterisation is, but it does make episodes centered solely around her boring at best and actively aggravating at worst.

All the people I ship romantically with this character:  Chase.

My non-romantic OTP for this character:  ...Lola? Michael? Also Chase because they're bffs?

My unpopular opinion about this character:  I think the most unpopular opinion would be that I wrote a 21k fic from her perspective because I could have done that for an interesting character.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: I will say it again, we deserved more jealous!Zoey and also probably pining!Zoey.

My OTP: Chase/Zoey.

My cross over ship: Frankly I don't even really want her in this show let alone another one.

A headcanon fact: Every headcanon I've ever had has gone into what I've written, specifically if there is anyone in the sun because even when you go off of canon there isn't a whole lot there. But you specifically asked for headcanons so I'm just going to list some things that hopefully constitute as such and aren't just thoughts:

I think I hc her as being on the grey ace/aro spectrum so a lot of the dates she went on, especially in high school, were more out of a societal expectation than true desire. Either that or the Catholic guilt is very strong.

I usually don't have Chase and Zoey being together around college, partly because a lot of stereotypes about high school couples, but also because I think they needed to grow as people and fall in love with each other as adults. Part of this is politics, because I think Zoey would have been quite conservative (both in a "I am going to get married at 23 and have 2-3 kids" way and a "fiscally I am a Republican" way) meanwhile Chase is like "here is why Reaganomics has always been a scam". She grows out of it though.

Zoey doesn't get jealous 99% of the time but the few times she does it's Quinn levels of "I will zap you with a laser/stab you with a fork" etc. She also does occasionally get nauseous over the idea of Chase having been with other people, in that "I can't believe you existed romantically with other people before me" way. She is specifically annoyed that her first time was with Chase and his first time was with Rebecca even though she's let the balloon thing go.

I have a half-baked fic/TV season idea where Zoey and Chase have a teenage daughter and Zoey quits her job as a fashion designer to instead teach at PCA. It is a deliberate subversion of "the gang ends up teaching at PCA" trope because I don't especially like it, and the main reason Zoey did it is because Maddie is a complete daddy's girl and Zoey is trying to connect with this child that is way less like her than she expected or wanted.

None of these headcanons have been fun lol uhh...Zoey was fully in love with Chase by Goodbye Zoey because otherwise why is she crying over him and going to England to spite him, and the show probably wouldn't have done the weak ass "I could be" had Sean stayed on. You could even argue she's in love with him around The Radio which is why she a) takes him overreacting so personally and b) gives the radio back even though he's been a dick because at that point the idea of him not being her best friend is kind of unthinkable, so she stops caring about being right.

In general I think being right/the moral high ground is very important to Zoey and how she perceives herself, as is being able to fix things, so letting herself be wrong and letting herself 'fail' around Chase is always a testament to how much she loves him.
