UPDATE: WE HAD SMALL SUCCESS TODAY!!!!

I decided to bust out a new treat today (some random moist-bite sample pack of things she really shouldn't be eating tbh but in tiny doses it should be ok) because I think one of our biggest problems is this dog is NOT using her nose for these exercises. I've never managed to get her to realize the SMELL is the salient information. So I grabbed our forbidden, stinky treat and wouldnt u know it...she is sniffing now. I was using stinky stuff before but it wasn't NEW. i think the novelty had her wanting to huff it so YAYYYY

I know we are improving cause i got some good interactions with the lone hot article before adding a dead one. Then she sniffed between them to decide which one was worth it instead of just randomly pouncing around hoping I would do something 😂 AND THEN!!!! SHE BROUGHT IT TO ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had not worked any retrieve into this at all, i was just marking for interacting with the right tube in a meaningful way, but rewarding away from the "pile" and on my body. She figured out the best way to make that happen was to bring it over 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 we will see if the momentum continues but i am just in heaven rn

I only get like 8 reps cause i can only use so many bits of these illegal treats so i have to make good on what ive got lol
