Part 2 of 2 (part 1 here)
Julien lied by omission when he told Rhea his mother approved of the engagement to Violette. When he approached Charlene for her approval to propose, she was gave him an ultimatum. She knew he was still seeing Rhea and that he had real feelings for her. Charlene told him that if he wanted to propose to Violette, he needed to end things with Rhea. Having been in Violette’s shoes, Charlene didn’t want to trap the poor girl in a one sided marriage and offered Julien another option. Charlene gave Julien permission to propose to Rhea if that was what his heart wanted. When Julien offered to get down on one knee and ask Rhea to marry him, he has his mother’s full support. Julien would have married Rhea in a heartbeat if she had said yes. Rhea wanted to say yes, she didn’t want to lose Julien but couldn’t bind herself to someone, she was afraid of being trapped in a loveless marriage. 😞
AN: Thank you for humoring me as i procrastinate working on the next few scenes of chapter 6! I may circle back to Rhea from time to time. It’s been fun to work through the Rhea/Julien/Violette relationships and there’s a lot more to their story that I’ll probably, more like never, get to.

Very interesting the connections that Ketu and Jupiter has with Frankenstein's monsters.
In the upcoming film "Bride" Jessie Buckley will play the Bride of Frankenstein and Christian Bale will play Frankenstein's monster.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Both are Ketuvian. She's Mula Sun, and he is Ashwini Moon. The film is made by Maggie Gyllenhaal who is a Vishakha Sun.
Benedict Cumberbatch and Jonny Lee Miller in (National Theatre Live 2011) "Frankenstein" interchangeably play the Creature (Frankenstein's monster) and Victor Frankenstein. Benedict Cumberbatch is an Ashwini Moon and Jonny Lee Miller is a Vishakha Sun.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The play was literally directed by Ashwini Moon Danny Boyle.
In the film "Lisa Frankenstein", Magha Ascendant Cole Sprouse plays a corpse from the Victorian-era who was resurrected to life (named Creature, commonly being Frankenstein's monster), and his love interest is played by Shatabhisha Moon Kathryn Newton as Lisa Frankenstein. The film is directed by Punarvasu Moon Zelda Williams.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Cole Sprouse's character reminds me of Emily the Corpse Bride from the film "Corpse Bride", voiced by Magha Moon Helena Bonham Carter and the movie being made by Magha Sun Tim Burton.
Tumblr media
What I found so interesting was how the internet is intuitively sensitive to Ketu energies as they have connected Laura Harrier to this character in online fan-casting. Laura Harrier is literally an Ashwini Moon.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In the film "Van Helsing" Frankenstein's monster is now played by a Jupiterian instead of a Ketuvian. Purva Bhadrapada Sun Shuler Hensley.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Purva Bhadrapada Moon Daniel Radcliffe, though he plays Igor, Frankenstein's sickly hunchback assistant, in the film "Victor Frankenstein". And in this film it is Ashwini Sun James McAvoy who played Victor Frankenstein.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And Tim Burton's "Frankenweenie" animation movie, it is Mula Moon Charlie Tahan who voices young Victor Frankenstein who resurrects his dog.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Purva Bhadrapada Moon Jacob Elordi will be playing Frankenstein in Guillermo Del Toro's retelling of the story, ultimately replacing Purva Bhadrapada Ascendant Andrew Garfield who was up for the role. AND Purva Bhadrapada Sun Oscar Isaac will be playing Victor Frankenstein.

Tumblr media Tumblr media
A couple of years ago, I remember Scarlett Johansson was in talks for a "Bride of Frankenstein" movie, and this was never heard of again. I doubt the project has been finalized or proceeded, considering the fact that it's been four years now. But still noteworthy as she is Vishakha Moon so perfectly fits this post.
Tumblr media
Vishakha Sun Emma Stone stars in the film "Poor Things", based on a book with the same name which is a clever feminist retelling of Mary Shelley's known work.
A film quite aligned with "Poor Things" is actually "Frankenhooker", being that the 'Creature' is a victimized female, starring Punarvasu Sun Patty Mullen who plays a girlfriend accidentally killed by her scientist boyfriend and is resurrected by him with the use of her head and separate body parts of deceased prostitutes.
Tumblr media
This film was literally directed by Magha Sun and Purva Bhadrapada Moon Frank Henenlotter.
Mary Shelley, the creator of the tale of Frankenstein, was a Mula Moon and Ardra Ascendant, a gothic novelist whose work is considered one of the earliest work of science fiction 🖤
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Literally went into more examples about Ketu's connections to transcendence, life, death, resurrection etc. in part 2 of my Ketu exploration. And also my vampire post.

Legendary Female Country Singers and Their Greatest Hits
Tumblr media
Country music has long been celebrated for its storytelling, emotional depth, and distinctive sound. Female country singers have profoundly impacted their stars, defining the genre through their talent and charisma.
In this blog, we’ll explore some of the most legendary female country singers and their greatest hits that have left an indelible mark on the music industry.
The Icons of Female Country Music
Dolly Parton: The Queen of Country
Early Life and Career
Dolly Parton’s journey to becoming a country music legend began in the mountains of Tennessee. Born on January 19, 1946, in Sevierville, Parton grew up in a large family with modest means. Her love for music was evident from an early age, and she began performing on local radio and television programs as a child.
Greatest Hits
Dolly Parton’s extensive discography includes some of the most memorable songs in country music history. Her greatest hits include:
"Jolene": Released in 1973, "Jolene" remains one of Parton’s signature songs. The track tells the story of a woman pleading with another woman, Jolene, not to take her man. Its melancholic melody and poignant lyrics have made it an enduring classic.
"9 to 5": Parton's 1980 hit song is a tribute to her versatility and a hymn for working women. The song, featured in the film of the same name, captures the frustration and triumphs of office life with an upbeat and catchy tune.
"I Will Always Love you": Originally released in 1974, this song became a global sensation when Whitney Houston covered it in 1992. Parton’s heartfelt ballad showcases her ability to convey deep emotions through her music.
Patsy Cline: A Voice for the Ages
Early Life and Career
Patsy Cline, born Virginia Patterson Hensley on September 8, 1932, in Winchester, Virginia, is remembered for her powerful voice and emotive singing style. Her career was tragically cut short when she died in a plane crash in 1963, but her influence continues to resonate.
Greatest Hits
Several iconic songs define Patsy Cline’s legacy:
"Crazy": Written by Willie Nelson, "Crazy" is perhaps Cline’s most famous song. Its melancholy lyrics and Cline’s soulful delivery make it a quintessential example of country music’s ability to evoke deep emotions.
"I Fall to Pieces": Released in 1961, this song showcases Cline’s vocal range and emotional depth. The track became one of her biggest hits and remains a classic in the country music canon.
This 1957 hit was Cline’s breakthrough song and introduced her to a broader audience. Its blend of country and pop elements helped pave the way for future crossover successes.
Loretta Lynn: the Coal Miner’s Daughter
Early Life and Career
On April 14, 1932, Loretta Lynn was born in Butcher Hollow, Kentucky. Her upbringing in a coal-mining family profoundly influenced her music, which often reflects the struggles and triumphs of working-class life.
Greatest Hits
This autobiographical song, released in 1970, is one of Lynn’s most celebrated tracks. It tells the story of her upbringing in a coal-mining family and has become an anthem for working-class women.
Released in 1966, this song showcases Lynn’s aggressive and assertive side. It became a hit and established her as a powerful voice in country music.
This 1975 song broke new ground by addressing the topic of birth control, a controversial subject at the time. Lynn’s bold approach and willingness to tackle taboo topics cemented her status as a trailblazer in the genre.
The Modern Legends
Reba McEntire: The Queen of Country
Early Life and Career
Reba McEntire, born on March 28, 1955, in McAlester, Oklahoma, is known for her dynamic vocal style and versatility. Her career spans several decades and has maintained a prominent place in country music.
Greatest Hits
Reba McEntire’s impressive list of hits includes:
Released in 1990, "Fancy" is a song about a young woman’s rise from poverty to prosperity. Its empowering message and McEntire’s commanding performance have made it a fan favorite.
This 1991 hit is a narrative song that tells a gripping story of murder and betrayal. McEntire’s dramatic delivery adds depth to the song’s narrative.
Released in 2009, this song showcases McEntire’s ability to convey complex emotions through her music. Its heartfelt lyrics and powerful delivery resonate with listeners.
Shania Twain: The Pop-Country Sensation
Early Life and Career
Shania Twain, born Eileen Regina Edwards on August 28, 1965, in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, is known for her blend of country and pop music. Her innovative approach has earned her widespread acclaim and commercial success.
Greatest Hits
Shania Twain’s greatest hits include:
"Man! I Feel Like a Woman!": One of Twain's most well-known songs is this 1999 smash tune. Its upbeat tempo and empowering lyrics have made it a staple in her discography.
Released in 1998, this song showcases Twain’s ability to blend country and pop elements seamlessly. Its romantic lyrics and memorable melody have made it a classic.
This 1993 song was a major hit and helped establish Twain as a leading figure in country music. Its catchy tune and relatable lyrics resonate with listeners.
Conclusion
The legendary female country artists highlighted in this blog have left an indelible mark on the genre, each contributing their unique voice and perspective. From the timeless classics of Dolly Parton and Patsy Cline to the groundbreaking hits of Loretta Lynn, Reba McEntire, and Shania Twain, these artists have defined country music and inspired generations of fans.

One, two, three. That's all it takes for them to sucker punch me.
Sucker Punch by Alta Hensley is now live!
Caught in the middle of three men who demand what they want, I soon discover that I am the one they’ll fight dirty to keep.
With my legacy on the brink of destruction, I enter the fight of my life, determined to do whatever it takes to hold on to what’s mine.
Sin, debauchery, body sweat all around me. Dangerous men want what I have inherited, and corruption suffocates the air I breathe. With no other option, I’m cast in a world of underground cage fighting full of violence for money.
But I’m an innocent girl completely out of my league.
Except, I’m not alone.
I have them.
This is their world.
Will they be my saviors? Or the masters of my ruin? The power of three to take me down, but they also have the power to build me back up… if they choose.
There’s Frankie, also known as Freakshow when he’s ready to fight. Unpredictable, dominating, and a brooding storm that intensifies with me in the room.
Bones is the one who truly sees me for the woman I am. He can break down my walls with little effort, and the man makes me weak in a world where I need to be strong.
Then there’s Lotto. He’s the protector, the leader. His eyes never leave me, and they never will. He’s watching. Always watching. But he awakes hidden demons I can’t resist.
To these men, I bring chaos, but in me they unleash something more…
Survival. Redemption. Dark desires.
Each one of them is different, but they each have something in common.
They all have an obsession…
Me.

Sucker Punch by Alta Hensley is now live!
My Review This book is a sucker punch to the gut. Ari, Frankie, Bones, and Lotto are a lot to take. Ari & Frankie are trying to keep the boxing gym in business. Bones needs someone to take a chance on him again, and Ari is down to give it to him. This book is sad too. We had boys that had grew up in the foster care system. Ari lost her father. Bones was fighting trying to help his father fight cancer.
They all come together in lust. This book was tense. They had to fight together. It also had them all finding family in each other. Yeah… why choose?

Katherine Hensley is a werewolf that currently resides in Shadow Lake and has been a Lunar Cove resident for a few days.
ITS THE END OF THE WORLD
GENDER/PRONOUNS: Cis Woman, She/Her
DATE OF BIRTH: December 21, 2000
OCCUPATION: Waitress at Peggy's Diner
FACECLAIM: Amber Midthunder
AS WE KNOW IT, AND I FEEL FINE
SPECIES: Werewolf
WOLF CLASSIFICATION: Beta (Bitten)
PACK AFFILIATION: Member
WELCOME TO LUNAR COVE, KITTY HENSLEY
Trigger Warnings: Death
Katherine “Kitty” Hensley was born in Sisseton, South Dakota, on the winter solstice, a time of celebration. The shortest day of the year signifies change, a turning point, an understanding that winter will come to an end soon. Born into a large family of practicing witches, Kitty was expected to be a part of a long legacy of magic users specializing in natural magics. However, it was pretty clear from early on that Kitty didn’t have the same magic touch as the rest of her family. Because of this, Kitty lived both without and within the world of magic, knowledgeable but disconnected.
So, Kitty had no magic. She had to live with that. And, sure, her family did their best to make sure she didn’t feel left out, and that helped, but there were so many things that Kitty could never understand: the feeling of magic in her fingertips, the innate sense of belonging with the natural world. While her siblings blossomed like the magic that they wielded, Kitty felt stuck.
Even if witches were still mortal, and even if they didn’t mean to, her family made her feel so boring, average, and human. So Kitty learned to have fun being human. She made friends everywhere she went, inserted herself in every group that she could, went to every party that was held. She let loose and had fun and tried to enjoy her life, even if it felt like she was missing something. She was wild, and she dragged her best friend, Parker, with her into every mess she got into.
Kitty met Parker when they were in kindergarten, and they were thick as thieves ever since. They did everything together, including getting into trouble. Where Kitty was, Parker was, too, and vice versa. He was the only person she told about her family’s abilities, and he was welcomed like he was one of their own. A second, magicless child to keep the other one happy.
And Kitty was happy. Really, she was. But she wanted more. She wanted that connection to the magical world in more ways than she could possibly say. So, when a werewolf came to Sisseton and offered Kitty the chance of a lifetime, of course Kitty took it, and of course Parker agreed to take it with her. The two of them accepted the bite and prepared to go through the Change together, deep in the woods and away from everyone else, and they just knew that when morning came, they were going to face a brave new world together.
Except that isn’t what happened. Kitty woke up alone and covered in blood, her eyes glowing a bright, unnatural blue. She had survived through the night and the Change, but it was clear to see that Parker hadn’t. Kitty washed herself off and came home to a family that was worried sick. Eventually, what was left of Parker was found. The Hensleys were grateful that it hadn’t been Kitty, and Kitty knew that she couldn’t stay home anymore.
In the end, she took her dad’s old truck, packed a bag, and started traveling, looking for work and leaving town when she felt like she’d been somewhere for too long. She missed being settled, though, and remembered hearing from family about a place called Lunar Cove, somewhere that she could settle, at least for a time. As soon as she arrived, Kitty felt something different, and she thought that maybe, just maybe, she’d found somewhere that she could fit in.

“I hope you’re ready for tonight,” Colin Whispered in her ear as he got ready to leave for work.
“I’m ready and will be impatiently waiting all day for you to come home” Jamielee answered with an eye roll.
“Haha,” Colin said, “When’s Zoe coming over?”
“Couple hours” Jami answered.
“Don’t gossip about me too much” Colin said as he left
“Don’t flatter yourself” Jamie yelled after him with a smile.

It's been a month (actually more like 3 months) since we last saw the Hensleys, and we're back just in time for Poppy to catch her train.
Candace: [...] And promise to call every day. I want to know what's going on with you over there, okay?
Poppy: I will, I promise.

~Blaz Brooks, entry 18. A chit-chat~
I miss my family. I still see them every single weekend and we text all the time, but it isn’t the same. I have learned that training isn’t just about physical fitness, but mental too. And mentally, I am struggling. The longer I am away the more I think of my sister. Does Marin miss us? Does she miss me? Is she okay? It seems I will never find out. I’m just...losing hope, a little at a time.
I did my best to hide my struggles, but Hensley cornered me while I was catching up on the news.
“Brooks! What’s up with you kid? If you want to get to space you got to suck it up!”
“Ah, yes sir. I want to go to space, yes I do! As for the sucking it up...I am working on it, sir.”
“Good, that’s what I like to hear!” He barked, then quieted a little. “Ah hell, we’re off the clock. I understand where you’re coming from. I struggled during training myself, although they really didn’t care back then.”
I was shocked. “You sir? You...pardon me, but you don’t strike me as the struggling type, sir.”
Hensley laughed. “Yeah, well, shit hit’s the fan sometimes Brooks. My girlfriend was doing an internship at the time, and I was in training...and she got gunned down by a hit and run. My mom was with her at the time, they were having lunch. Both died that day.”
“I...wow, I am so sorry, sir.”
“Yeah, plummed me up, real good Brooks. REAL GOOD. I wanted to quit and go after the buggers myself who did that. They just wanted to send a message to the owners of that bistro, and didn’t care who they hurt. But, my mentor of the time told me about it, locked my butt in the training room and told me to go ham. Yell, scream, shout, beat crap up. Whatever it took to finish, cause then I could take the plummers down properly, so they couldn’t hurt anyone else’s family.
