Summary: A month or so after Adamant, the Champion of Kirkwall returns just in time for Starkhaven's annual ball. She's been away “aiding” the Inquisition, and the crowned Prince has missed her terribly. He has something to ask her.

5 Henley Hawke Facts (Part 2)

3.) Out of all my OC’s so far including the actual nobles (Cousland, Aeducan), Henley is best suited for the life of upper society. Besides her love for luxury, and her extensive knowledge of decor and fashion, Henley actually enjoys the stifling parties and petty backstabbing drama. She remembers every lord and lady she’s ever met because it has been crucial to her rise to high society. She’s memorized every lesson Leandra taught her as a girl about dining etiquette, which kind of frock to wear at which event, ball room dancing, and parlor manners. Henley utilizes her reputation, her looks, her style, her lack of a quick temper (I wouldn’t necessarily call it ‘patience’, but she is not  prone to snapping or to outburst of passion. mostly because she’s perpetually unimpressed) and her scathing, but appropriately timed, shade to enthrall rooms. Even if there may be few who actually like her, a majority of the guests at any gathering worth attending are at least intrigued by her. Sebastian tries to not be smug about having "the most interesting woman in the room” on his arm at every event. 

4.) Henley had strong romantic feelings for Varric realized sometime during the long walk back from the Deep Roads Expedition. Other than being her literal only friend (probably ever), out of all her companions he is the only one who just accepts her awfulness for what it is and doesn’t try to make her better (Aveline, Sebastian), try to make her care about a cause she doesn’t (Anders), terribly inconvenience her (Isabela, Merrill, Anders again), or just flat out get on her nerves (Fenris with his brooding, Carver and his surliness). 

During the period between Act 1 and 2 before the Amell Estate is purchased/cleaned/refurnished, she spent a good deal of her spare days with him and many of her nights in his palatial suite trying and failing to sleep (curse her insomnia) so staying up to talk crap about people they mutually dislike or just listen to his stories. Nothing sexual ever happened between them but for a time there was definitely something there. He was the first person she’s ever been in love with (”It was a silly infatuation, Sebastian. Nothing to concern yourself with.. Do not ask again.”) and casually often remarked she would marry him if he ever found a way to become Viscount. 

Guarded as his heart is though at that time, he frequently jokingly reminded her of “Prince Husband” and she would sneer and shake her head, assuring him that Choir Boy would never join their motley crew. By Act 2 though, Sebastian did, and shortly after, Varric betrayed Henley in the Fade. She took it harder than either of them thought she was capable of, and refused to see him at all for weeks (her main party alters: Aveline, Anders, and Sebastian taking Varric’s place. She never took him anywhere again until Act 3). She still hurts bitterly for years about what happened, but after she became Champion she realized she needed someone to talk shit about the nobles she’s been meeting to. She reconciled with Varric over the 3 years between Acts 2 and 3, though most of her time in that span was spent with Sebastian. Though it is never quite the same between them, she still considers Varric her only friend (”Do not give me that look, Sebastian. Husbands do not count. Jealousy is so ugly.”). 

5.) When her mother dies Henley kind of goes off the grid for a while, but it is then that Aveline locks in Henley’s loyalty. She wouldn’t say she was ever particularly fond of Leandra, but by no means did she have a bad relationship with her. Her mother had groomed her to become the lady she needed to be to charm a significant husband and rise back up into nobility. And Henley had never thought she would die on her anytime soon (”How dare she. Without my permission!”). For 2 weeks, Henley refused to leave her room, languishing dramatically in bed with Oranna coming in to bathe and feed her. Though there were never any tears, and she was filled with more bitter loneliness than actual grief, it was a dark time for her. With no committed love interest at the time, Aveline is the first one to come check on her and her concern shocked Henley though she does not show it. Without meaning to, Aveline took Leandra’s place in one of the very limited spaces in Henley’s mean, guarded heart. Though Henley would never call her “friend” or even say she “likes her at all”, if Aveline needs her for something, and it doesn’t terribly inconvenience her, Henley will help out.

Worldstate 2: Isseya Mahariel, Henley Hawke, Xiaofan Cadash

14) if they’d been in each other’s places would they have made the same or different choices? And who would they have romanced, if anyone?

Isseya’s choices-

vs. Henley’s: Would have joined the guard with Aveline [they would have been rivals for Captain position], would not have given Merrill the tool, would have dueled the Arishok instead of team-battle, would have sided with Templars to maintain order, would have romanced Varric (or at least tried to)

vs. Xiaofan’s: Would also have declared for “order not faith” (same choice), would have sided with and leashed the Templars (same choice), just a lot of the same choices. Would maybe have also romanced Blackwall but sent him to Wardens instead of full-pardoning him

Henley’s choices-

vs. Isseya’s: Would have just completely abandoned Alistair and her Warden responsibilities and nope-ed out of Ferelden, probably to Starkhaven as a refugee (Ferelden would have been doomed…)

vs. Xiaofan’s: Would have declared the inquisition for “my own power”, would have conscripted the mages to serve the Inquisition, no romance but Varric would be her only friend again (she’d probably have one-sided romantic feelings for him too)

Xiaofan’s choices-

vs. Isseya’s: Would also have recruited Templars/made Bhelen king/made Anora queen alone (same decisions); would not have saved Redcliffe, would have slaughtered elf camp and recruited werewolves, would have spared/conscripted Loghain, would have not done Dark Ritual or taken final blow against archdemon (Loghain would have died killing it), no romance 

vs. Henley’s: would have given Isabela to Arishok, would have sided with Templars, no romance

18) What is the biggest similarity between your protagonists? 

All 3 women are strong, self-confident, and capable. They take no shit, they get shit done, they play by their own rules/agenda and don’t let others interfere with that. None of them would hesitate to take down whatever’s in the way of their goals. Their vibes are all “fierce but regal”.

Though only Henley is the true “asshole” type, all 3 of them tend to come off as “intimidating, unapproachable, critical, and proud”. They tend to not get close to people easily and have close but very few friends. They prefer to see their other companions as “coworkers/underlings/fellow associates”. In social settings, they all mingle well with upper society and nobility (Isseya as Arlessa, Henley as Lady Hawke, Xiaofan as Inquisitor), and would be formidable players of The Game. They also all dress well, are frugal, and have an affinity for finery.

In love, they expect complete, unquestioned loyalty and devotion (something Zevran, Sebastian, and Blackwall are more than happy to give) but also provide it in return. They prefer to keep their lovers close, not doing well with distance or separation.

19) What is the biggest difference between your protagonists?

Isseya Mahariel is the only one not “evil” aligned (she’s Lawful Neutral) and unlike the other two prefers to uphold the laws of the land. Xioafan is Lawful Evil and also values balance and order, but her allegiance is more to Carta protocol and tradition than government issued structure. Isseya is the most community oriented, a pack animal unlike the solitary Henley and Xioafan. She makes decisions to benefit not only herself but as Commander her Grey Wardens, and as Arlessa the people of her Arling.

Unlike devoted, attentive mothers Isseya and Xioafan, Henley Hawke (Neutral Evil) doesn’t have any particular warmth or tenderness towards her child. She’s protective of Violet Vael because she’s the only heir to Starkhaven, but though she is never outright mean to her daughter, she’s a distant, unaffectionate mom at best. Sebastian adores and spoils their daughter but Vi still pines for her mom’s acknowledgement in a way Isseya and Xioafan would never allow to go unanswered. Also, unlike the other two who wear the proverbial pants in their relationships (Blackwall being rather submissive to his Lady, and Zevran who knows his wife considers them equals but prefers to follow her lead anyways), despite all Henley’s pride, Sebastian low key often gets the final say in big decisions. This is likely due to Henley not really having cared much for the outcome of topic to begin with but having to be dramatic and involved at least a little bit.

Xiaofan Cadash’s age and rise through the Carta has left her with a kind of affinity for bloodshed. Though Isseya will kill when necessary, she tends to avoid it if she can (she’d rather put a prisoner to hard labor or recruit them; she hates to be wasteful). And though Henley will murder occasionally if she’s been pissed off and/or terribly inconvenienced, more often than not she will just let someone go if a companion, usually Varric or Sebastian, subtly suggests it (and when she does kill she takes no pleasure in the act besides prideful satisfaction that they ‘had it coming’). But Xiaofan is another breed of killer. After sentencing someone to death, either in the Carta or as Inquisitor, she serenely relishes the feel of a beheading against her blade. Passing judgement from a seat of power has become something of a hobby and she will not hesitate to execute someone simply to prove a point. She loves a trial almost as much as she loves carrying out the death sentences herself.

He’s so dreamy, dude. Like damn, Prince Vael, congratulations on your FACE. Also he’s such a handy teammate, definitely my favorite rogue to have in squad in terms of ranged DPS (plus he looks hot when fighting melee in close combat and sustainability). I like his party banter with Fenris a lot too and how they become friends,  and how Varric’s main complaint about him is that he is “too nice”, like yes please, nice men are rare thank you for existing. My Henley Hawke is a lucky woman for becoming his queen, I imagine he’s such a doting husband.

Red-Warden’s OCs: Champion of Kirkwall

Worldstate 1:  Akono Hawke the “Chaotic Chill Champion of Kirkwall”

Basics: anarchy and wit and chill. Jack-of-all-trades mage (knows one basic spell from each school of magic) but specializes in Ice magic. Is also a skilled Spirit Healer. Magic manifested at age 11 when he made it snow indoors on a very hot summer’s day to keep the twins cool. Varric’s nickname for him: “Frost”. Gay/Grey-sexual. Fenris Romance.

Physical: age 25-32 (DA2) and 36 (Inquisition), 6′4, tall, strong well-muscled build, very muscular arms, colorless/silver eyes, black hair in thick cornrow braids, brown skin tone, black well-trimmed beard, dark purple face tattoos, handsome. Modern AU he is half white/half African-American coded with Nigerian ancestry. 

Psychological: Purple Hawke (almost exclusively, except a few Blue moments with Leandra and Carver). Chill, funny in a dry way, introverted, shy, impressively patient, brilliant visionary and planner, prefers not to lead directly but pull strings from the shadows or behind a mask. There’s a million ideas always running through his head but he focuses these many ideas, narrowing down those that are illogical and discardable. His intelligence propels him in everything he does, shaping his values, shifting his actions. Akono is passionate about equal rights and overthrowing oppressive establishments- but still maintains a healthy sense of humor and ease. Painfully empathetic but hides it; Devout Andrastian but anti-chantry. Chaotic Good

Decisions: Carver became a Grey Warden, Dueled the Arishok (was not Basalit-an), Sided with Templars publicly most of Acts 1 and 2 (lets mages escape when Templars weren’t involved) to gain their trust (his plan was to get Meredith alone somewhere to assassinate her). Did not help Anders place bomb in chantry. In the end, sided with Orsino/Mages. Killed Anders by his request (to become a martyr the mage rebellion could idolize). Privately agreed with Anders, but publicly will deny it. Survives Adamant (Loghain left in the Fade).

Relationships: Full/high Friendships with everyone (including Carver) except  Merrill, closest with Isabela and Varric. He looks out for her as if she were his little sister but she doesn’t forgive him for not giving her the tool to fix the Eluvian (full Rivalry). Considers Aveline Vallen and Sebastian Vael family, but has few other close friendships due to his shyness and preference for privacy. Main party: Act 1- [Carver, Isabela, Varric] Act 2/3 - [Fenris, Isabela, Varric]

After Kirkwall: Stays for a little while to help rebuild Kirkwall, but leaves a few months after, using his gold to buy Isabela a new ship. Leaves his mabari “Tor” to Aveline. Brings Fenris with him and the three become pirate liberators on the seas, hunting down slaver ships and freeing the slaves (while adding gold and ships to their fleet). Does this for years up till Inquisition while accumulating wealth to hire mercenaries. Is planning to lead the last slave rebellion of Tevinter and overthrow the Archon. Will seek aid from Inquisitor Adaar. Writes to Warden Carver regularly (they’re very close).

Worldstate 2: Henley Hawke the “Red Queen of Starkhaven”

Basics: tired eyes and sharp edges and spite. Arcane/Earth focused Mage (Specialization: Blood Mage). Has great difficulty learning any kind of creation/healing spells. Magic manifested late at age 16 when she caused a small earthquake while in a very bad mood after being slighted by a nobleman bachelor. Varric’s nickname for her: “Queen of Hearts”, formerly “Queen of My Heart.” (”Queenie” for short). Biromantic/Asexual. Sebastian Rivalmance.

Physical: age 25-32 (DA2) and 36 (Inquisition), 5′10, tall and slender, gray eyes, shoulder length burgundy red hair (secret: exact color is maintained with magic) styled into loose curls daily, pale skin, dark smoky eye make-up to hide dark raccoon eyes from lack of sleep. Suffers from anemia, chronic insomnia, and night-terrors since childhood. Resting bitch face but is strikingly lovely anyways. Modern AU she is Irish coded. Faceclaim: Elizabeth Gillies

Psychological: Red Hawke (almost exclusively, except a rare Purple remark at Varric). Difficult to faze but stubborn. Vain, selfish, paranoid, antisocial, but well-educated and can hold stimulating conversation on a wide variety of subjects. Is often mean for the sake of getting people’s reactions; full of blunt criticism. Too straight-forward to ever lie or be sarcastic. Exceptional memory for names of people and places, important events. Can mingle with mobility effortlessly. Easily bribed, considers every deal with demon but rarely actually accepts. Very motivated by the goal of an easy, luxurious life and more than willing to marry money to achieve this goal. Is unbothered by any killing she does to get her way but does not actively enjoy it. Neutral Evil 

Decisions: Carver became a Templar, Refused to duel the Arishok and instead team battled (was not Basalit-an), Sided with Templars most of Acts 1 and 2 so they wouldn’t bother her. Helped Anders place bomb in chantry. In the end, sided with Orsino/Mages after flipping a coin (she didn’t care for either side and would have picked Templars if Meredith had paid). Approved of Anders but executed him to keep Sebastian. Survives Adamant (Alistair left in the Fade).

Relationships: Full Rivalry with everyone (including Carver) except for Varric Tethras (full Friendship). Generally, she is awful, and Varric is the only real friend she’s had in her life and she is begrudgingly in love with him through the 3 years between Acts 1 and 2. After he betrays her in the Fade, she begins to pursue Sebastian out of desire to become Queen of Starkhaven. Over the years, she comes to tolerate and eventually love him. She is loyal to Aveline though they dislike each other (like sisters with a love-hate relationship). Oddly attached to her elf servant Oranna, she considers her “hers” and is very protective possessive.  Main party: Act 1- [Carver, Varric, Anders] Act 2- [Aveline, Sebastian, Anders] Act 3 - [Aveline, Sebastian, Varric].

After Kirkwall: Leaves to Starkhaven with Sebastian most immediately after defeating Meredith. Gives her mabari “BC” (”Better Carver”) to Merrill. Brings her servant Orana with her as she is the only one she trusts to serve her loyally. Becomes Arcane Advisor to the Prince of Starkhaven and eventually his fiancé then wife. Becomes known as “the Red Queen”.

Worldstate 3: Claira Hawke the "Bluebird"

Basics: conversation and anxiety and adaptation; Alyss Amell’s cousin. Short-bow Rogue (Specialization: Shadow). Varric’s nickname for her: “Bluebird”. Bisexual. Anders Romance (after Fenris Rivlamance). 

Physical: age 25-32 (DA2) and 36 (Inquisition), 5′5, average build on the softer side due to eating carbs and sweets constantly, toned legs maintained by daily running and stretching; wide hazel eyes with under-eye bags, dark brown hair down to mid-back kept in a messy bun on top of her head, fair skin tone, freckles, red lipstick, wears a red-hooded cape.  Faceclaim: Lydia Graham

Psychological: Blue Hawke (60% Blue, 40% Red); devoted but dynamic, brave but panics easily, smart but naive, easily excited but easily depressed; friendly but with a savage temper, values peace, foul-mouth though tries to control it. Doesn’t really know who she is but does her best. Devout Andrastian but kinda slutty (in just her time in Kirkwall she sleeps with: Athenril, Fenarel, Fenris, Isabela, Templar Hugh, Cyril de Montfort, Anders, a tal-vashoth, and propositioned Seneschel Bran but he turned her down); uses hookups and casual sex as a coping mechanism for stress, also may have commitment issues. Modern AU she is English coded and has diagnosed Generalized Anxiety Disorder and Panic Disorder. Neutral Good

Decisions: Bethany died in the Deep Roads, Dueled the Arishok (was Basalit-an), Vocally and actively sided with mages all Acts 1 and 2, Emotionally manipulated into helping romanced Anders place bomb in chantry. Sided with Orsino/Mages. Spared Anders and tells him to “just go”. Survives Adamant (Stroud left in the Fade).

Relationships: Full Friendships everyone except for Fenris (full Rivalry) due to bringing him everywhere while being very vocal and helpful to the “freedom for mages!” cause. Gets along well with everyone due to intense desire to please and be liked but has few close friends (Aveline and Merrill). Main party: Act 1- [Fenris, Bethany, Merrill] Act 2/3 - [Fenris, Merrill, Anders]

After Kirkwall: Flees Kirkwall with Anders immediately and though she’s broken up with him out of anger for the lives lost (disapproved) in the Kirkwall Chantry, she comes to forgive him eventually but they do split up and go their seperate ways. A couple months later she realizes she is pregnant and sends a distress raven to her friends. Aveline is busy in Kirkwall holding off Sebastian’s invasion, and Varric is already captured by Cassandra, but Merrill, Fenris, Isabela come and help keep her safe through her pregnancy. They eventually part ways again about a year or so later, except for her best friend Merrill who stays by her side. They eventually become romantically involved, raising Claira’s son Silas together.

4. Coldest VS Most Emotional

(OC Face Claim: Maggie Cheung)

Team Cold

1. Winner: Xiaofan Cadash (Worldstate 2) - There is no OC I have that deserve the term “ice queen” more than Xiaofan. Her alignment is Lawful Evil because she can do terrible things without losing any sleep and does it all with a calm face, sometimes a cold smile. Due to the greed, evil and betrayal by others, she has a dead husband, a dead 4 year-old son, and many dead family members (some she’s killed personally in retaliation), and all of this has made her cold. But also strong, smart, and slow to trust. Sentiment is not useful except when used against others. Feelings cloud judgement and she cannot allow that; she has a world to rule. 

Henley Hawke (Worldstate 2): Henley is too sleep deprived and irritable 90% of the time to feel any kind of warmth for others. Her capacity for caring or feeling emotions is very low. Though she gets annoyed easily, bursts of anger are very rare as they require too much energy. Sadness and guilt are both emotionally draining, so she chooses not to feel either. Even happiness is experienced calmly and without a smile. (She very seldom laughs because there aren’t a lot of things or people she finds humorous, Varric is the exception). Though she softens a bit after becoming romantically involved with Sebastian, she still remains cold and callous to most everyone else (exceptions: Varric, Merrill sometimes, her servant Orana, her and Sebastian’s daughter [Violet Vael] sometimes). 

3. Blue Surana (Worldstate 1): Has always had difficulty comprehending the things she’s feeling. And when she has an idea of it she will stop to wonder why and analyze them and before she realizes it, the moment has passed, and she has not expressed in face or words how she’s felt about it. This is why her general expression is stoic or unemotional. That isn’t to say she does not have feelings, because when she accepts them they are actually quite strong, but her general outward appearance to those who do not know her well tends to be “cold”.

(OC Face Claim: Anna Karina)

1. Winner: Alyss Amell (Worldstate 3) - Even before the Blight, she was always an easy crier; moved to tears by a harsh word, a bad grade, public speaking, or when badly startled by a fireball accidentally cast too close to her. She was bullied in the Circle for being a crybaby and her gentle nature prevented her from fighting back. Alyss is easily swayed by appeals to pathos, almost anyone can win her empathy and her aid and she will bend and break rules whenever moved by strong emotions to do so. She is also heavily influenced by feelings of guilt, inadequacy, regret, anxiety- things only barely countered by her desperately persevering hope that people are good at heart and that things will get better.  However, her sad feelings eventually overwhelm her and corrupt the Hope spirit living within her into Despair and she faces the Archdemon without allowing Morrigan to do the ritual, knowing exactly what’s going to happen, and wanting it. 

2. Cassian Cousland (Multi-Warden AU): A soft boy, just a very gentle man in touch with his feelings and unafraid to express them. Though he is slow to anger, the rest of his emotions are felt and shown with no shame. When sometimes makes him sad, he cries, and when something amuses him, he throws his head back laughing like a little kid. When he’s in a good mood- which is very often- he is all smiles and bright eyes. Cassian is like a puppy: bewildered by small things, gets excited like a child, does not understand what “subtlety” is, but in the best way. 

3.Kyung-jae “Kieran” Tabris (Multi-Warden AU): Though “anger” tends to be his go-to, Kieran is expressive in a broad spectrum of emotion. He’s prone to bouts of jealousy, loud excitement, and his all-consuming love for his friends. He feels nothing by halves, and though he tries to hide some of the “less cool” feelings, it’s always still written on his face. Sadness is expressed through punching walls and loud shouts rather than crying, but it’s always expressed. He tears up when he’s furious, but also when he’s laughing, though will admit to neither. It’s easy to see when his emotions are most affecting him because he will over-exaggerate when he talks, and he does so often. He’s a dramatic little bitch.

01) Favorite game of the series?

Dragon Age 2. I love the bisexual disaster companions and how they have friends/relationships/lives outside of you. And I love Hawke and their tragic story. I also like having years passing with the same protagonist/companions instead of “my new companions and I had one crazy year together”. Plus fighting mechanics were my favorite in this game. 

02) How did you discover Dragon Age?

I saw gifs of Morrigan on tumblr years ago (back when DA2 was still new) and thought, “holy shit, she’s pretty I should play that”, and just never got around to it till a couple years later till when I saw a lot of gifs of default Marian Hawke and thought “she’s gorgeous and funny and I would die for her” (I still can’t believe I used to think I was straight...) and then found out she’s not till the second game so I hurried up and bought Origins to play first. Then got hooked, Origins has such a great story.

03) How many times you’ve played the games?

I’m on my 4th and 5th (playing simultaneously) playthroughs of Origins, I’ve played DA2 either 6 or 7 times. Inquisition I’ve only played once and I skipped most of the side missions because that game is so long.

04) Favorite race to play as?

Elf. I love dwarves a lot though and if they could do magic they’d easily be the fave. 

05) Favorite class?

Mage. I like healing and not having to get close to enemies. 

06) Do you play through the games differently or do you make the same decisions each time?

I try to play differently each time and role play hard (ex: certain mage OC’s are only allowed to have skills in certain fields of magic even if it’s inconvenient for me, my traumatized-by-Carver’s-death Hawke who is triggered by seeing ogres can only “hold position” when one appears and I can only fight as the companions because she’s having a panic attack). In Origins I like to put someone different on the throne each time, side with mages once and templars the next, and have companions love/hate me according to my OC’s personality (and not cheat by using the Feast Day gifts). In DA2 I have a different personality Hawke each time and they make varying choices but in the end I have never sided with templars. I think in my 2nd Inquisition playthrough I’ll side with templars though out of curiosity. 

07) Go-to adventuring group?

Always depends on who is the love interest and who are the closest friends of my protagonist. Even if the team comp is terrible. 

08) Which of your characters did you put the most thought into?

Blue Surana was my first character ever so she’s had the longest time of me adding/subtracting/updating her and her story. That being said I like to think I’ve put a lot of thought into my Mahariel and Amell as well. Out of my Hawkes, Claira is the most developed. 

09) Favorite romance?

Fenris. 

10) Have you read any of the comics/books?

I've read all the comics and I’ve read “The Calling” and “The Last Flight” I plan to read the other books soon hopefully. 

11) If you read them, which was your favorite book?

I really recommend The Last Flight if you’re a die hard Grey Wardens fan like me. The main character inspired the name for my Mahariel. 

12) Favorite DLCs?

 I genuinely forgot Awakening is DLC since it came with my game but, yeah. I love all the companions in Awakening and I wish it were longer. “The Exiled Prince” is also another fave since I genuinely like Sebastian Vael and he’s a kickass squadmate. 

13) Things that annoy you.

The white-washing, what happened to Orsino, the way Inquisition doesn’t take into account Hawke could have been a blood mage, no healing as an Inquisition mage, the fucking Requisition Officer, the way you can’t be nicer to Sera, no dwarf romances, and how the Inquisitor can’t call Cullen out on certain things (Cassandra too, honestly, though I love her she can be really insensitive to other cultures). That’s just in the games, don’t even get me started on some of the fandom. 

14) Orlais or Ferelden?

Frozen Dog Lovers > Snooty Elf Oppressors, any day 

15) Templars or mages?

Mages, no contest.

16) If you have multiple characters, are they in different/parallel universes or in the same one?

I have 3 worldstates that I have playthroughs for, and a Multi-Warden AU

Worldstate 1 - Arcane Warrior/Battlemage/Fire Mage, mutual-pining-for-Sten, grey-sexual Blue Surana + Spirit Healer/Ice Mage, Fenris Romance, gay Akono Hawke

Worldstate 2 - Ranger/Assasin Archer, Zevran Romance, straight Isseya Mahariel + Blood Mage/Earth Mage, Sebastian rivalmance, panromantic/ace Henley Hawke

Worldstate 3 - Blood Mage/Spirit Healer/Entropy Mage, Leliana Romance, bisexual Alyss Amell (dies) + Shadow/Dual-Blade Rogue, Anders Romance, bisexual Claira Hawke

Multi-Warden AU: Blue Surana is main warden and recruits the others after Ostagar forming what I call the “Warden Squad”. Most thought-out world, that I have the most writing for but will probably never get around to writing the actual fic. We will see. Also, I need to make some Inquisitors for all these worldstates....they’re planned out I just need to force myself to actually play them. 

17) What did you name your pets? (mabari, summoned animals, mounts, etc)

Mabari’s: Rabbit (Blue Surana), Dog (Isseya Mahariel), Teddy (Alyss Amell), Tor (Akono Hawke),  Better Carver “BC” (Henley Hawke), Bear (Claira Hawke). Isseya Mahariel numbers her wolf and bear summons A-# for wolves and B-# for bears. 

18) Have you installed any mods?

I play on xbox so nah, sadly. 

19) Did your Warden want to become a Grey Warden?

Blue Surana didn’t want to leave the Circle and Isseya Mahariel didn’t want to give up searching for Tamlen so “no” for both of them, but they both were amazing at it. Alyss Amell, as much as it terrified her to leave to fight things, wanted to be free of Kinloch Hold. 

20) Hawke’s personality?

Akono is almost exclusively Purple though he has rare Blue moments when speaking to Carver or sometimes Fenris. 

Henley is solidly Red except maybe once or twice chose purple banter for talking to her only friend, Varric. 

Claira is the most varied in that she’s split 60-40 between Blue and Red, meaning well and wanting to be all good/peaceful, but having a wild, passionate temper when defending mages and her friends/family. I also headcanon she has the foulest mouth of my Hawkes though she actively tries to stop cursing it’s an unbreakable habit. She’s also a shameless flirt and hits that heart button almost every single time it comes up (I wouldn’t consider her Purple at all though since she isn’t sarcastic and is the type to laugh at jokes rather than make her own).  

21) Did you make matching armor for your companions in Inquisition?

I made Cole and I matching outfits because I love him ._.

22) If your character(s) could go back in time to change one thing, what would they change?

This could get long if I listed everyone so, Blue Surana regrets not telling Sten how she felt sooner, though she doubts it would have changed anything. Isseya Mahariel wishes Tamlen could have been found sooner so the Joining could have saved him. 

23) Do you have any headcanons about your character(s) that go against canon?

My entire Multi-Warden AU is a big “fuck you” to canon because all those potential wardens deserve to live dammit.

24) Who did you leave in the Fade?

In this house we do not leave Hawkes in the Fade. So, sorry Loghain :(

25) Favorite mount?

I legit forgot I had a mount 90% of the time. At least I got to hear more dialogue I guess.
