I've got sweaters on the brain. Top left, handspun mystery fleece - pretty sure I have enough for a big, loosely knit lounging type sweater once I dye the wool. Top right, handspun that was originally for a maple leaf shawl but I kind of like the idea of having this bright fall sweater. May need other yarn for cuffs/etc. Mid-left, my Green Mountain Spinnery haul. Bottom right, 2/3rds of a two-color sweater (gotta use that WEBS coupon for the other two skeins in the same brand of yarn~~~). Bottom left, maybe a So Faded??? I'll keep them together and see how I feel later (4 @onceuponacorgi skeins, 1 @bohemiafibers Ziggy Stardust custom colorway). #helphelpitshappening

I wasn't PLANNING on casting on a sock, but I made plans with a friend who's in town to go see Moana tomorrow and my movie socks are too close to being done. @spicyhomemaker is working on these Afterthought Everything socks that have stuck themselves in my brain, but my brain must make everything an unnecessary challenge, so these are going to be true afterthought everything socks with the cutting stitches and everything. Slightly nervous about that part of it, but like... A 2.5' stockinette tube with ribbing on either side is ideal for movie theatering. #helphelpitshappening

I mostly crochet with acrylic/acrylic blend yarns, but I've frogged the worsted weight cozy memories blanket and started a scrap crochet blanket with those yarns, which were consciously chosen as wool yarns/handspun. The thoughts I have about how crocheted handspun and crocheted nice wool yarns feel are obscene and not fit for public consumption. God. Damn. It's. Just. Guh. And if I can get over my feels about the texture of this, I may write this up as a scrap pattern as I finish sections. #helphelpitshappening
