Help, I need BG3 advice! please!

ACT 3 SPOILERS BELOW THE CUT!

So on my second playthrough, I am refusing to use any of the tadpoles I have collected. I want this to be an illithid-free run (as much as possible, anyway).

On my first playthrough, I ended up turning Karlach into a mind flayer, but I squished the astral tadpole.

I didn't run at all with Lae'zel during my first playthrough so I have never done her storyline before. Now that I have her with my second playthrough, I am wanting to try and free Orpheus, but I'm really worried about the repercussions of that decision. I'm told it makes the fight harder because the emperor abandons you and fights with the absolute if you free Orpheus. But if I side with the emperor I'm worried I'll have to abandon her and I really don't want to do that.

For anyone who has played either option, I would really appreciate some pros and cons to either choice to help me decide because it is the one thing that is stopping me from continuing my second playthrough because I have no idea how I want to finish it.

Another request related to Cult of Desire; I've got Masks that need designing! Father Zilot's is designed, but that leaves 11 masks undesigned and up for grabs, 2 of which are for Ed and Roy.

The masks are supposed to represent their wearer, obviously, through an animal, an element (like the Fire/Water/Earth/Wind types, not periodic table lol), primary and secondary colours, and a desire or pleasure-adjacent concept (usually sin-adjacent things like Greed or Lust, but things like Ambition or Devotion also count).

I have some ideas for Ed and Roy's masks (Like their animal + colours; Red and Gold Lion for Ed and Blue and Silver Dog for Roy, and Roy's element; Fire, obviously), but no concrete designs.

Obviously any design not created by me that I end up using will be credited to the actual creator, I'd just appreciate some assistance.

BG3 Settings Help?

I think this might be a "mira needs a mod" situation, but all the hair textures in my game look like hot garbage. Gale's beard looks like a fucking Brillo pad, and hair on other characters looks like trash too.

I can run my game on Ultra graphics, and I have spent ages trying to tweak my settings to no avail. I just want people's hair to not look horrible! Can anyone help me with this?

Happy Halloween! I'm really excited to be finally launching* what is maybe one of my most ambitious, largest work yet. This online library is the next phase of a research project that began in May 2020, when I first mused on how comics as a field doesn't have a resource that catalogues devices used in the medium. Like, theatre has devices, so does literature, and film! So why shouldn't comics? I always had an interest in comics studies and analysis. I love reading, making and thinking comics. However most of my knowledge was intuitive - I learned comics from osmosis and experience. This is true for many of my peers. Speaking about comics as a creator is hard, because we don't have a robust system of language. When we had to speak, many of us tend to reach for the language developed for film by film practitioners. If there is language specific to comics, it's either scattered in multiple blogs or hidden away in academic journals. The Comics Devices library is meant to aggregate everything and everybody into a single hub! After exploring some multiple resources, alongside some original, independent research, here is the first edition! * The Comics Devices project is still a work-in-progress! It's not final, nor will it ever be. This is why I am seeking contributors to help build this library. Translations, comics examples, etc. There is a lot of work to do! Anyone have good advice for plane travel with plane-induced panic + motion sickness?? Its been literally so long since I've set foot on a plane (last time in early 2019) and both my frequency of panic attacks and my susceptibility to motion sickness have increased since then.
