hellcanons pt 2: Wrath

Yes, I know that the show will likely go in the dragon direction with Satan, but I did not find that out until I drew him up as a cowboy.. i mean... bullman. Satan is the first after Lucifer to fall. It comes about from him becoming angry at god for casting Adam and Ever out of the garden, and he tries to incite anger in them as well. Satan is blind in his main eyes, blinded in rage and all that, but he has a second pair of eyes on his nipples. Because I drew it as a joke but then thought that it was so funny that I kept it. Sorry. Satan has the largest day-to-day form, towering over the rest of hell's citizens. He keeps weapons from past attempts to kill him stuck in his back as proof that he cannot be defeated through combat. The markings on his face and shoulders are meant to be reminiscent of skulls.

Imps!

Imps are the native hellborn race of Wrath, supposably born of the sand-lizards that live in it's dry feilds and deserts. Imps grow around 4 ft tall and live for around 70 years. They have large hands and thick scaly skin. Through genetic differences imps can have black or white hair or be bald, and be pedigrade or digitigrade. After sinners, Imps are the most populous race in hell. They can be found in every ring, and can reproduce quickly because they have short pregnancies (3 months) and multiples are common (10% of births) They are just little guys.

the angels in heaven were getting a little stir-crazy as the holidays were approaching. raphael was in and out of the city, in and out of the throne room -- in and out of heaven's gates that peter's face was basically carved into the back of his head at this point as he welcomed him and bid him farewell every time. some of the younger, lower-ranking, angels went a little crazy with the decorating, streamers and tinsel everywhere - of course praises of the father's son, cheer and giddiness was bursting at the seems of their home. of course with the decorating and happiness came some mischievousness here and there.

as raphael was coming back with michael, having talking him down from his temper flaring up (something with him and adam, raphael had caught the tail-end of their conversation. adam likely saying something vulgar as he always had, and michael's purity being simply disgusted in his presence). raphael was kind for them both when other angels bowed or waved to them in greeting, some cheerfully giggling as they skipped past. he smiled, greeted them and nodded towards their direction each time, despite michael had kept his nose to their air as he always had while trotting along. for such a small angel, he was quick on his feet.

they'd stopped just before entering the counsel room, head's barely underneath the doorframe, and raphael blinked quizzically towards the smaller male. before they could start, continue, end -- really do anything. there was that familiar squeal of the young seraphim that joined their ranks recently. emily was excitedly clapping her hands and giggling, pointing out that they were caught under mistletoe; to which both raphael and michael raised their heads like baby birds looking for their mother. wide-eyed, slightly flustered, raphael held his hands up in defense, ready to tell michael that he didn't have to participate in a very-human tradition.

he wasn't sure if it was the pressure of the young seraphim or michael's pride, but his hands were quickly slapped away and the hem of his robes were yanked on to pull him down (not that it were hard for michael to go up on his toes, raphael was hardly much taller than him). the kiss wasn't anything spectacular, groundbreaking . . . but it still had raphael turning so bright that he was vaguely sure there was a halo of light surrounding his body.

it was barely even a kiss to the lips - more closer to his cheek than anything else. but lord, just the small feeling of michael's lips against his skin had his knees buckling.

before michael could drop him, raphael had pressed his own awkward little kiss to the soft rounded cheek. he was careful to not smear any makeup on his fair skin, and even more careful to not make more of a scene than what he had in his reactions. smiling awkwardly as michael dropped his robes, raphael took it upon himself to brush out the creases from a strong fist.

" perhaps we should take that down? i wouldn't want the wrong person being caught under this. " he suggested, as if it michael wasn't the very person who was not ever meant to be caught said plant.
