           with him being the one to bring the girls in, hyunki was clueless as to why he was acting all sulky suddenly. usually, he would be thriving in a situation like this, even basking in all the attention he's getting, but it seems like he's mentally checked out and the alcohol was catching up to him. eyes following the older, hyunbin joining him catches him by surprise. " guess i'm just not in the mood. i did say i was going to invite them just to watch, anyway. " his monotone way of speaking coming out, eyebrow quirking, " and you ? why are you here ? shouldn't you be waiting for her by the bathroom or some shit. " he suggests, though noticing that his words were slurred, an indication that he's way past his limit in alcohol. though not paying any mind to it and just taking another big swig from the glass in hand.

 all  smiles  when  flirting  with  the  female,  he  was  putting  up  a  show  for  the  swimmer  to  see  and  learn  how  it  was  done.  little  did  he  know  he  was  being  too  much  to  see,  not  knowing  how  the  swimmer  was  feeling  while  he,  himself  was  just  enjoying  every  moment  of  it.  why  did  he  even  want  to  have  hyunki  looking  at  him  ?  he  wasn't  even  into  this  guy,  was  he  ?  he  finds  himself  thinking  of  the  younger  male  suddenly,  which  causes  his  attention  to  falter  ;  thankfully  the  girl  was  taken  away  by  her  friends,  the  girls  going  to  a  bathroom.  which  left  hyunbin  alone  to  stand  there,  he  looks  around  momentarily  before  making  his  way  over  to  the  swimmer,  flopping  down  right  beside  the  younger.  ❛  so,  why  are  you  alone  here  ?  you  seem  upset.  ❜  he  says,  leaning  head  back  as  he  turns  it,  elbow  nudging  the  younger.

HELLOR id like to ask you on your opinion of this; would law give us presents, and if so, what would they be?

I absolutelly think Law would give you presents! I believe he would be rather thoughtful when it comes to gift giving. Not to say he wouldn't indulge in the occasional mindless novelty gift such as something quick and last minute to have on hand if he ever second-guesses the gift he had carefully chosen for you.

Because when it comes to a present for you, Law puts in far more effort than he would ever openly admit.

The gift itself? It would be deeply meaningful, something that shows just how much he pays attention to you. Maybe it's a piece of jewelry you admired when passing by a shop and you stared at it with eyes lingering just a few seconds too long as you murmured 'Maybe someday...' he would commit that to memory and ensure that someday comes sooner than you would ever expect.

Or maybe it is a trinket that goes along with your ever-growing collection. Bonus points it if is something rather hard to find out in the world. He would scour markets, libraries, or far-flung ports to track it down just knowing the joy it will give you.

Sometimes it is the nostalgia that gets him. Stories from your childhood that brought up memories of a toy or a book you miss. and Law would listen and find a way to surprise you with a piece of your past.

And Law doesn't ever expect anything in return either. But it truly would be lovely if you had something to give in return to a man who clearly cares deeply for you.

Hellor! Recently read your ‘Alfred gets frisked by a cop and said cop subsequently gets threatened by not Batman but Bruce Wayne’ fic and I was wondering where you got the police codes from! I know that may seem like a weird question but. Meh.

I pulled them mostly from a California state police radio manual! So they might not apply to New Jersey like I claimed they did in the fic. But it was a good list of codes and explanations so I ended up just sticking with that instead of digging too deep to find NJ ones.

I also watch a lot of dashcam videos, so some of the language was definitely pulled from those.
