Happy Pride Month! This Graphic was actually created to accompany the upcoming new chapter of Running Through The Shadows, Hiding In Plain Sight (yes I know it's taken a loooooong time to get it completed, but sadly life got in the way - a lot!), however I felt it also worked perfectly for Pride Month - so decided to post it - and here we are!

In this Graphic, our emerald and amber-eyed beautiful Boys are shown with their beautiful Boys (and Girl), ahead of NYC Pride, and....that's all I can say about that for now! 😉

until recently, the weather here has been hot and humid, befitting for a country with a tropical climate (us locals always say there’s two seasons here: hot and hotter) but as the monsoon season arrives it’s been raining a lot which i love! perfect relief for those who hate the heat (which is probably all five-ish million of us LMAO). i love the wind and some rain and find myself lulled to sleep by the cooling temperatures. rainy days indoor are always great too!

there’s a public holiday next week which i’m looking forward to, to rewind and relax. over here we don’t have a lot of public holidays (only 11 this year if i remember correctly 💀 absolutely criminal) so i’ll take whatever free days i can! i’ll probably catch up on books, get back into giffing and take my own sweet time to get ready in the morning. my family and i are also going to watch spain vs croatia later on so i’m excited for that!

also i’m so curious to know what’s it like in germany (or, more specifically, the region you live in) with all the fans streaming in for euros? it must be quite the atmosphere! - 💙

and the vibe here’s been lovely! i actually moved to munich almost a year ago now so i’ve obviously got front row tickets to the atmosphere. generally when you’re out and about you see a lot more people in kits of different countries; i was at marienplatz yesterday which is one of the main town squares (and the most famous one) in inner city munich and they’ve got that ‘you got this’ ad everywhere with different german national team players and other players who took part in the ad like jude bellingham and whatnot plus you see so many german flags everywhere! it’s also pride month and the actual pride march (it’s called CSD here) is on saturday so they’ve also put up different lgbt flags which is lovely.

apart from that yeah when games are held in munich you can hear fireworks and people cheering and drunk guys at tube stations hahaha the opening game was held here in munich and i saw so many scots with kilts and bagpipes and chatted to a few, they were all just rly thrilled about being at the euros (and of course they sang ‘we hate england more than you’ to german fans on the train and the tube). my friend lives along the tube lines that lead to the fan zone and arena and she said that on the day the opening game took place she didn’t sleep for hours because there were so many people outside her flat wanting to get on/off the tube 😭 all in all it’s rly nice and it’s also nice chatting to ppl who’ve come here to watch their countries!!

the windows are open, unlike every other day, to let the breeze cool down the house before the storm hits. the forecast hadn’t said anything about an upcoming storm, but judging from the clouds, you both knew that it was a safer bet choosing to stay inside. you frowned at the sky, mentally cursing it as you leaned onto kiyoko’s shoulder. you were, unsurprisingly, bummed. you’d been looking forward to spending some time with your girlfriend and the cats at the cafe after a long week, and apparently it was too much to ask for.

“stupid clouds,” you muttered. “you dumb clouds are ruining everything, you know that?” you asked, knowing full well that there wasn’t that high of a chance of you actually getting a response.

kiyoko laughs, “you’re so worked up about this.” she tentatively starts running her fingers through you hair, growing more sure in her actions as you lean into her touch.

you close your eyes and hum, feeling content with her pampering. “of course i am, i wanted to go to ai cat with you. and this dumbass rain is ruining it,” you complain and rest your head on her lap. “i mean, is it really too much to ask for?” you pout.

she shakes her head and smiles. “you,” kiyoko whispers, “are so adorable.” she pinches your cheek, earning a whine of her name from you. she laughs again, leaning down to press a kiss to your nose. “don’t worry, baby. we can just go there tomorrow.”

Hellooooo!!!! What is UPPP

Thought of the day is pride because I feel like I have come ~so far~ because growth is happening!! Growth is feeling like we should use the scale, realizing it will make us sad no matter what it says, and then consciously deciding to say noooo to the scale and not use it!!

Growth is being called the thick one in the friend group and knowing 2 (two!) things:

I am hot as FUCK and the way people perceive me doesn’t really matter because I perceive myself as growing and a strong strong girlfriend and my legs can do wonders from getting me up stairs to class on time to stretching for a certain Gemini. And some people’s concept of weight is just wack. Why boy weigh same as girl but girl have boob and boy have no boob? Wack. I know that’s not the correct boy girl terms but whatever this is MY journal and I know what I meaaaan.

Second point is thick is hot as FUCK and every person can look good in their own way but I am finally loving the way I look even if I’m not at peak performance 😌 and some girls may be smaller than me but I love my food and I love my body and I am finding balance and that’s what matters!!!

I am loving life right now and so very thankful for all the friends who appreciate and love me and I can’t believe I was singing woe is me for thinking I had no one a couple months ago. C’mon we have Kelly and Jacob and Sam and Jake and Jessica and MB and Bridget and Sarah and Nick and Colbry and Noah!!!! Noah called today and it was so funny and made me so happy!!!! And we have Thomas!! I hope mans comes out and we can finally have another gay in the group! I hope the world becomes accepting of gays!!! I have so much hope and happiness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
