even though she never ends up playing, claiming she’s not creative enough to keep up (which eddie vehemently disagrees with, but he’s learned to pick his battles), chrissy loves sitting in the d&d room for the weekly hellfire sessions.

the first time she showed interest in going, eddie insisted that she sit on his lap on his throne (“it’s where princesses belong, sweetheart”), and she entertained him for about five minutes before he started moving and jostling her around. instead, she found a bean bag in the corner that looked not too destroyed, and since then got the best view in the house of eddie in his element, in complete control of the story he was guiding his little sheep through, reminding them of the rules and consequences should they not follow them, and providing them with a safe place to be creative, make mistakes and engage in their interests without judgement.

almost unconsciously, chrissy always sits with her legs firmly crossed.

and to their luck, at the end of the night after the party goes home, the bean bag fits two.

In an ancient and distant place, there was a small village surrounded by dark forests, which was terrorized by a creature of darkness: the vampire Eddie Munson. The villagers, in an attempt to appease their hunger and the wrath of the infernal beast, regularly sacrificed beautiful maidens. This time, the young and beautiful Chrissy Cunningham was the chosen one. Chrissy is taken to Eddie's castle. He, an immortal vampire, had spent centuries seducing and transforming his victims into his vampire wives, imprisoning them in an eternity of obedience. When Chrissy is delivered to him, Eddie sees her as just another prey. He plans to transform the girl so that she will be part of his dark entourage. However, something unexpected happens: Chrissy shows no fear, only anger and contempt for Eddie. Eddie had never met anyone like Chrissy before - a girl who resisted, who would not be subdued. The more he tried to dominate her, the more he found himself fascinated by her willpower and stubbornness. Chrissy, on the other hand, cannot stand the vampire she sees as the one responsible for her imminent destruction.

As the days pass in the castle, Eddie begins to grow fond of the girl. He, who had become cold and devoid of feelings over the years, now feels a deep and sincere attraction for her. Little by little, Chrissy also begins to realize that Eddie is not the cruel monster she imagined, but rather someone torn apart by suffering and rejection. There is indeed more to him than people can see.

I imagine them going on a rampage and killing Chrissy's parents after taking care of Jason and his crew~

Hellcheer week, day 3: Hideout.

Eddie and Chrissy spend a night together in the Munsons' trailer.

Chrissy ran through the warped nightmare of her family’s home looking for an escape, but every exit was blocked.  Even though she was faster than the monster, she was still trapped, and she knew it would catch her in the end.  There was no escaping the nightmare, but then…

She heard it…  It was faint at first but grew clearer as she listened.  It was music…  Lyrics…

 “It's the place where they keep all the darkness you need, You sail away from the light of the world On this trip, baby…”

She heard a song from her tape.  Her tape that she had made of songs that she loved.  Her mixtape that Eddie told her she could play while she waited in his living room while he went to get the ketamine.

 “You will pay tomorrow…”

My attempt at an AU/fix-it for @hellcheerweek​ 13 Days of Hellcheer day 6 “fix” prompt that started out as a one-shot that ballooned into a 16 chapter story where Chrissy is the first one to escape Vecna grasp thanks to her mixtape and everyone’s favorite drug-dealer who doesn't want her to die.

Chrissy only had a few minutes head start before him so it didn’t take long for him to find her. Sure, there were a few deadends from uncertain turns but eventually, they all lead back to the true path— to her.

She seemed to be taking her time, head bowed deeply as she watched her steps, hands fiddling with the brim of her witch hat which she’d taken off at some point. Meandering, and deep in her thoughts; he could spot her frown from where he stood. Hear the deep sigh that rustled the drooping leaves around her.

And she must’ve heard him coming, or at least seen him in her periphery, because when he went closer, she turned her head. Angled her body so that he could pass her on the narrow path.

“Oh. Hi, Eddie,” she said, dropping her hands to her side, her voice even and soft like she’d expected him all along.

Or, Eddie and Chrissy do a corn maze.
