str8 ppl culture is saying things like "how not to be a boring old couple" "how to remember to spend time with your partner" "how to keep the spice/spark" and the solution every time is just "plan regularly scheduled dates!"

#personal #like (1) im so happy and excited to be out of the honeymoon phase w my wife #even if things have slowed down we have so much more fun now #(2) yall have to be REMINDED to spend time w ur partners????????#(3) its funny seeing them argue over 2 dates a month vs every 2 weeks a new date vs every 2 -#like the number they always pick is 2 #like dont stop dating ur partner is true ig but also the way that these ppl get BORED with their partners #and not just like yknow happy complacent or content or whatever #they literally say they are Bored as id they hate it #and they position date nights as the Only Solution like u #like yall know u can do other things aside from like a date night right?#plan to make ur partner's breakfast for 1 week or smthn idk #use the “boring domesticity” to ur advantage and make them feel special #u dont have to go out or have food to make someone feel loved #hell my wife once a week goes to the store to get juice/snacks/random stuff for me simply bc she knows i love having juice around #and it goes way farther than “have a date once every 2 weeks”#like i cannot imagine treating quality time and loving my partner as a chore
