I am a 26 year old mother of two rambunctious little boys who loves to play sims in my spare time. This is a simblr.

You seem like one of those stereotypical Autism Moms I hear to much about :(
I really debated not answering this because I’ve made a promise to myself to not feed into the negativity on this site any longer, but honestly this ask deserves a response. Why? Because it’s so ignorant and it’s my job as the mother of two Autistic children to raise acceptance and tolerance for them and Autism in general.
So I’m the “stereotypical Autism Mom”? I’m choosing to take this as a compliment because this is what being a “stereotypical Autism Mom” means to me:
I love my boys fiercely and will do anything to help them and improve their quality of life.
I advocate for Autism acceptance because most people are unaware of exactly what it is and why it’s so common and are afraid of people who are different than they are
I teach my children that they are no less than and yet no better than anyone else because of their differences.
My oldest son has been bullied to the point where he was suicidal a few months ago and he is only NINE YEARS OLD. I’ve taught him that those bullies are assholes and ignorant little fucks that don’t understand how amazing he is because they can’t get beyond his quirks due to their ignorance
I volunteer in my boys’ school three times a week and am involved in several committees so I can help their school be better not just for my own children, but for all the students and staff
I teach my children to love themselves and their quirks because every single person on earth is different and we need to celebrate those differences, not diminish them
I take my kids to therapy and to the neurologist so that they can make the most of every little talent and skill they have because the outside world is cruel and nasty to those they deem different and I want them to have every opportunity available to them.
I push them to do their best, but never make it harsh or exceeding. If my son brings home a low grade we talk about what happened and why and how we can do better next time.
I teach my children to love and accept everyone no matter their abilities, their race, skin color, sexuality or gender. They are young at 9 and 5, but those lessons begin from birth practically and can make a huge difference in our nasty, cruel world.
I love my boys unconditionally and answer rude little shits like you who come into my inbox with your negative comments about how somehow my being a fierce advocate and protector of my children is somehow a negative thing.
Here’s the thing, Nonny. All you’ve done with this ask is show your ignorance because you know nothing about me or what I do or believe as a parent to two Autistic children. But thanks for this ask because you’ve helped me shed a light on why being vocal about my boys’ Autism is so important. It’s to let ignorant little fucks like you and others who think the same realize they know nothing about what it’s like to have two amazing, intensely intelligent, funny, loving little boys who get shit on constantly because of their differences.
You think I protect my friends fiercely? You know nothing about poking a Mama Bear.

Dream Catcher
After a rough round with Walburga, Sirius sends his little brother off and is left to his own aid. Taking matters into his own hands he tries to cope through the pain with potions. What happens when Regulus finds him the next morning? This is my story of how Sirius ended up with the potters the summer before 7th year.
