I’m not one to do screenshot edits anymore. But I’m not above self inserts and redrawing scenes to suit my characters lol.

I don’t really draw in styles outside my own much either. Since it took me so long to find a style of my own (still is tbh) but I really wanted this to feel like it was straight from the movie so I did my best!

I wanted to use Helios' design as a guideline for how I designed these two. In designing Terra I tried to do my own thing while still respecting Naoko's original concept. For Gaia, I just tweaked my original preistess design using Helios as a closer reference than a loose one like last time.

So I also decided that Gaia is going to be apart of Lady's team in Crystal Tokyo! But more on that later xD

🌿”Torrid Summer”🌿 A Mucha-inspired series

As a life-long HelioChibi shipper, I had to devote one of the seasons to this ship, even if it’s only teasingly so. 😘 Though her true adult form is only shown briefly in the manga, it’s one that’s fueled a lot of my head canons over the years.

Out of the 4 pieces in this set, this one most heavily reference Mucha’s artwork, specifically the 1896 Summer. Based on the figure’s pose, I imagined a scenario in which Lady had ran off to enjoy a secret shady spot in Elysian during the summer, and Helios had to go find her. What happens after that? Well, given that this piece’s title is “Torrid Summer”, I will leave it to your imagination. 😉
