One of my most important characters is based entirely off of my very first skyrim protagonist and so is her subsequent backstory 😭 I am grateful to tod for ONE thing
#she had married vilkas and had children with him (i hc'd fjotra was their third kid too since i refused to ever finish her quest lol..#she had his hair color 🥺)#but after that she ended up joining the dark brotherhood and i fell VERY much in lovw with it and started reinagining her entire life#so from there thats where Helgyr ended up becoming the cold and calloused person she was always meant to become#but it did mean she abandoned her family which vilkas neverrr forgave her for#his plight would be so horrible like imagine you give up a part of yourself to be with someone you love and who THINK loves you the same...#you give up this piece of you so that they never have to live with the monster you could be#only to watch your wife slowly pull farther and farther away from you until she turns into one herself#and shes never coming back#GIUGH. i take it back tod had nothing to do with it its all me#helgyr

I made Helgyr in 2011 and I have never ever mastered how to draw her hair. Whatevs
#if anyone cares this is moments before Mystria fully commits to betraying Crezia/the party and kills Helgyr lol.#Helgyr was a mother figure and teacher to Crezia. She was the first to find her as a confused amnesiac 19 yr old victim of necromancy and#took her under her wing <3 helgyr taught crezia everything she knows#and her girlfriend who she thought was the love of her life killed her. right before her eyes <3 wtow#helgyr also isnt ao much afraid as she is concerned abiut what witnessing her murder will do to crezia#helgyr is a soulless bitch that only has a heart when it comes to crezia...shes a seasoned assassin that ruined her own life and abandoned#her husband and children#but she found a calling to take care of cre#crezia*. her little mouse lol#art tag

i had so much lore abt ny first skyrim character and all the people around her it was so so much. so much that i had to turn her into a real oc later on and somehow integrate it into crezias story and only now may she get a (possible) redemption arc
#even a name since i fcked up in 2012 and her name was just Prisoner#now shes Helgyr :) lamely named after Helgen bc wtf else

skyrim crisis moment im trying to recreate/replay my original/very first character but ive come to the realization she mightve not in fact been a nord and might have been Imperial this entire time which changes very little but im fucked if true bc i already got pretty far in last night :(
#im having minor memories of regretting Not making her a nord tho so ig this works out kind of like theres not much difference#but i swear she was taller than most NPC's so thats what made me think she was a nord...#also finally named her after 30 minutes debating between Freyja Helgi and 100 combinations of both names#i just called her Helgyr lol. in my mind thats not even her real name just what she calls herself after surviving helgen

having a moment trying 2 recreate my first skyrim file bc the kid that i adopted i only did bc her parents were killed by a dragon so i got to be guilt free but NOW despite dragons spawning in the area all the time, it seems like npcs cant even get killed by dragons anymore, like im standing in the middle of the flame blast with the mom in front of me and shes just like owO Bring me some corundom ingots . No give me your life so that i can raise ur kid to be my assassin apprentice
