HAPPY FAB FRIDAY!

I’m almost to 22,000 words on my WIP and my anniversary is coming around the corner this Summer! I can’t wait to celebrate my “10 Years (2013-2023) Of Original Writing” Anniversary!

22k words is FANTASTIC!!! And TEN WHOLE YEARS is INCREDIBLE!!! Wishing you ten, twenty, and even thirty more years of writing adventures to come! :)

Casimir Mraz was only one drink in and already obsessed with the wraith-like figure at the bar.

Of course, a vampire's tolerance for alcohol was already staggeringly low, and Caz had been supplementing his pork-blood-and-vodka cocktail with nips from his flask. Which may have explained why he found this stranger — from the out-of-place jewelry glimmering off delicate wrists and earlobes to the eager downing of shot after shot of whisky — so enthralling.

"Ya know, I tend to favor gals who could kick my ass and fellas who I could break in half," Caz said, sidling up to this stranger. "What's so interestin' about you is I'm getting both sorts of feelings from you."

It was an incredibly rude thing to say, but Casimir Mraz was incredibly buzzed by this point. At the very least. And the stranger didn't seem to mind.

"I think you just about nailed down how I'm feeling tonight."

A smirk flickered on a set of oddly-scarred lips, and then -

"You can call me, ah, let's say Lee. They/them," they said.

Caz got the feeling the stranger was not actually called Lee, but he didn't care.

"Casimir," he said. "I'm a he. I mean, a man. I mean -"

He was most certainly not a man, but he wasn't used to these additional formalities. Not that he hadn't come across his fair share of Lee-types over the centuries.

The stranger laughed like a hissing snake and placed a hand on Caz's arm. They had a sharp, impish face suited for laughing. Caz wondered how they had gotten into The Merrow's Toe, with all its magical barriers. They looked only slightly older than he did, appearance-wise, but something felt much more ancient about them.

The stranger wound a flame-red lock of hair around their finger. Caz would have loved to dig his fingers through that mane of theirs, but he could be patient.

"What's your poison?" he instead asked.

Lee placed a finger to their mouth in serious thought.

"Suppose they don't have mead here, do they?" they said. "At least, not the kind I like. What's Fireball taste like?"

"Like too much cinnamon and too much sweetness," Caz said, even though he only knew what Jade had told him about it. Vampire guts tolerated vodka well enough, but not flavored whisky.

"I love sweets," Lee said, and Caz found them even more endearing.

They turned around and gestured to a table behind them. A woman nearly as tall as Caz was leaning her massive frame toward a willowy, freckled woman. They were making moon eyes at each other, and Caz had to admit he found himself jealous of both of them.

"Those are my wives," Lee said. "We have an open marriage, the three of us. If you're alright with that."

Caz nodded and ordered a shot of Fireball.

"Think they might wanna join us later?" he asked.

A burning grin spread rapidly across Lee's face.

"Let's just wait and see, darling."

It didn't take long or even that many drinks for Lee to follow Caz to the bathroom. They were surprisingly small, and Caz found himself lifting them up to press them against the wall.

"Hold on, hold on," Lee said, pulling away from his mouth. "Let's try something. Turn around."

Caz spun on his heel until he was the one pressed against the cool tile. His pretty stranger grinned, their legs wrapped tight around his waist to stay upright.

"Much better," they said. "Now -"

Caz gagged as an invisible bond pressed against his throat, forcing him back against the wall. Another tightened around his arms. Still another got his legs.

Lee dropped to the floor, their eyes pinched and curious as they ran a hand along his jaw.

"What are you?" they asked. "A draugr, maybe? You're most definitely undead, but seem a bit smarter than that."

Caz huffed and growled. Maybe it was a bit too feral, but he did not like getting humiliated on his dates.

The tying up would have been otherwise welcome.

"Unlucky for you, I had such a light dinner," he said. "Because when I get out of here I'm gonna drain you dry, you freaky little witch."

The freaky little witch smirked at him.

"Oh, my Jotunn blood wouldn't taste so good," they said. "Certainly not as appetizing as a tasty, human heart. And I'm much more than a witch, darling."

They paced around the bathroom, running a hand along their chin.

"You could be a prank by my daughter, but she's supposed to be at home with the sitter," they said. "Unless -"

They stared at Caz, eyes suddenly wild with fear. Then they pulled a knife on him.

"You're one of Odin's einherjar, aren't you?" they asked. "Come to spy on me? Well it's not going to end so well for you, is it? And you're certainly not taking my children!"

"I'm not — what the fuck would I do with your kids?" Caz cried. "Fucking Bram Stoker! He ruined vampires' reputations!"

Lee stepped back in confusion. They looked like they were about to ask what the fuck Caz was going off about, when the door burst open.

Jade-fucking-Shaw had arrived to save his ass.

"What the fuck is wrong with you?" were the first words out of her mouth. Caz had never been so glad to hear them.

"Why would you even try to pick a fight with a Norse trickster god?" was the next thing she said. Which left Caz very confused and Lee very smug-looking.

"So you know who I am, witch?" they asked.

"I wasn't picking a fight, I was trying to fuck them," Caz said at the same time.

Jade gripped a hunk of dark hair. She was in a black dress accented by several pieces of spiked jewelry, which only made her more terrifying.

"That's even worse," she said. "And yes, I know who you are. Not only could I sense something very weird was going to happen here tonight, but your wives also told me."

The two women were now standing in the doorway, looking nearly as aggravated as Jade.

"He's not an einjerhi, Loki," said the willowy, freckled one.

"Trust me, I would know, having fought enough of them," said the other woman. She stared admiringly at Jade. "Did you know they also have witches in this time and place?"

"Every time and place has witches, Bodie," not-Lee said with an eye-roll. "You just have to look hard enough."

They turned back to Caz and snapped their fingers. He fell toward the bathroom floor before catching himself.

"Think the night's over," said the muscled woman. Jade nodded in agreement.

"Aw, but Bodie -"

"But Jade!"

"It's nearly closing time, anyway," Jade said, and the four of them all trudged out the doors of the Merrow's Toe.

"Jade," Caz asked, craning his neck. "What the fuck is that?"

Or who the fuck, maybe. A red-haired man in breeches and a waistcoat knelt above them. He was about 40 feet tall. Caz could just make out a petite, dark-haired woman letting loose a steady stream of curses on his shoulder.

"Fucking shit, Logi!" she said. "I think we're late!"

Okay so thank you for this ask because this just streamed out of me like I was possessed and I had so much fun writing it.

Hello!!! Happy Blorbo Blursday 😆 thank you for stopping by!!!

I have mostly been working on my OCs for Paragon and fan OCs for RWBY and, honestly, the majority of their conversations would revolve around the differences in their weapons and powers- the RWBY characters having semblances, and my Paragon characters having control over elements.

The thing that would blow their minds the most for the RWBY characters would probably be the Mythic and for the Paragon it would be the concept of aura :)

This ask motivated me to write 139 words for Home is Where Your Light Shines Brightest.

Hi!! Thanks for the ask!

Well, first off, all my thief characters (Avidra, Ashlin, Hermes, etc.) would be having a great time chatting. I have several of them across my WIPs, and that would be kind of fun for them to get together and chat. However, everyone else there would have to keep a very close watch on their stuff, lmao. I don't even wanna know what kind of heist they'd pull off together.

Also, all the royals (Fallon, Kristopher, Dorian, Alora, <Prince>) would probably get along decently well, for the most part. <Prince> might rub some people the wrong way at first, but he knows how to behave himself. His kingdom is just very, very different from the ones the other royals come from. I think that Dorian would also feel a bit awkward because he doesn't want to be a royal, but either Alora or Kristopher would probably pull him back into it. (Alora because she's just nice like that, and Kristopher because he understands the feeling.) Dorian and <Prince> would maybe bond over having magic that hurts them when they use it. If <Prince> would ever even admit that. It takes him halfway through or more of the book to even admit it to Alora, and she's the only person who knows, aside from Lila.

Speaking of Lila, she and Tessa would get along amazingly. Actually, probably Theo too. They'd be a bit overwhelmed at first with everything going on, but Theo would find their people and start to truly enjoy it.

Calista and Nora would get along great too. They're both smugglers of a sort, and operate outside of the law, but they're also both good people who try to make the world a better place.

Mabel would take it into her hands to provide food for everyone, and would get super stressed out and snappy trying to do it, but in the end she'd pull it off and everyone would love her food.

Captain Blackthorne would probably feel more than a little outnumbered, seeing as he's the oldest person there. (A good 90% or more of the people there would be 18-30 years old.) (Pierre is probably older, but he's not invited, and I don't really want to think too hard about the ages of the entire Pelle family. It gets confusing with that many of them, askdajdks.)

Oh, and everyone would adore Squish. She'd be the center of attention, and she'd love it.

(and as a bonus, the Narrator would be watching all the shenanigans with a smile from somewhere in the rafters...)

Oh! I love grilled cheese sandwiches too! My college makes them at our C-store, and I buy them all the time! I guess that's one thing I have in common with Shine!

BALLAD OF EMPIRES [READING EXCERPT]

“Cær!” The curse escaped Xiani’s lips as she stumbled back to her friends. Their horses were gone, they had to cross the mountains on foot, for better or worse. Something that slightly reassured Griffin deep inside. Perhaps the horses would not have survived the hardships of the forced march and so now had a higher chance of survival. Anything was better than losing a living creature. He only hoped that they would find the animals again. His eyes found Xiani’s, and he became lost in those dark pupils coated with a slight orange glow. His heartbeat slowed as he felt something touch his consciousness. He wanted to scream, but no sound passed his lips. Something was moving through the forest towards him, frantically. He caught a glimpse of iridescent scales in ruby red. Then reality took a step to the left and he felt himself falling.

HAPPY FAB FRIDAY!

I had made it a little past 24,000 words on my main WIP! It’s almost done! I’m still trying to decide on how I should celebrate my 10 YEARS (2013-2023) OF ORIGINAL WRITING ANNIVERSARY!

So far, my ideas were: Writer Interviews, Characters Interviews, and Snippets Madness. But I’m open for suggestions. I just want something simple yet FUN.

🖊 Factoid about Keim: He's secretly been going on the surface on a daily basis because he noticed how interested in the surface world Glorie was and he knew one day he'd have to fetch her, so to prepare his body to get used to the pain of being dry, he would drag his ass up there daily. Kinda like werewolves dosing themselves with wolfsbane.

🖊 Factoid about Harmony: Her hair was actually black and used to hate pink, but after an incident, she came to embrace pink and magically dyed her hair and clothes all pink permanently and her eyes are pink too so she came to adore the color and now she wears it unironically.

I think my ideal anniversary story would be some kind of tribute to all the stories I've written and all the things I've learned over the years. I'm not sure what the best way to do that would be because I've never thought about the concept of an anniversary story, but it is a sort of fun prompt 😊 to me, it would just be some kind of celebration of writing :D

Oh no XDDD oh no.... Uh, in a word, Chaos. Lots of chaos would happen XD. To help us keep track of things, I color coded the characters- pink for FSF, green for TCIO, and blue for Galaxy Destoryer.

Astra, Pandora, V, Kylee, Chase, Sapphire, Erica, Monty, and Triveya would all hit it off immediately, I think. The chaos gremlins of their groups. Everyone else is probably going to be keeping them from burning the building down. Chase is the most low energy out of them but he will happily participate in chaos shenanigans.

Bryson, Lan, and Knox, are all the parental/chaperone figures of their groups, and the only ones with the group braincells, so they'll be most of the damage control. Good luck guys.

Raven and Asher would probably develop small crushes on each other, their lovers Sapphire and Damian wouldn't mind it. They bond over being protective over their lovers, though Raven is more morally gray than Asher is (who is a tiny bit disturibed by Raven's willingness to kill).

Cassandra would also develop some small crushes on V, Astra, Nova, and probably Nickelle just because she looks so cool. Her pirate girlfriend Erica doesn't mind because she also thinks they're hot. (once they find out Nickelle is aroace, however, they respect that).

Oh god, Snow and Nickelle. Snow and Nickelle would be buddies for life and hit it off once they meet each other. Both AroAce?! Both seem deceptively smart and having common sense but are dumbasses as well?! Having best friends that they adore and would die for?! BESTIES. They rope in Corie into their AroAces club too, though she's more socially awkward, has no friends, and actually has some common sense.

Gabby would be dressing everyone up and giving everyone makeovers, making them feel beautiful by enhancing the features that they have of course. Everyone from FSF and Galaxy Destoryer loves her and immediately joins her protection squad.

Aries and Elliot would also become friends I think, because of their personalities and how they love their girlfriends. Xey would also be interested in Elliot's literature and books and be curious about them.

Kylee and Triveya would bond over neurodivergent things and Kylee would see how burntout Triveya is and how little help she's gotten with her mental disabilites and help her out. Autistic/ADHD besties. (Kylee is autistic and Triveya is AuDHD). Then they commit mischief and do feral little gremlin things together.

Uhhh, I'm most definetly forgetting some but this post is getting long. May add onto it later if I remember.
