I started drawing goat then got lost in the sauce and went on a completely different brain tangent. I’m dying on my hill that the goat is from an alternate universe and I’ve always wanted to do a role swap with Narinder and Shamura.

I need to yap about the way I read the colours of cotl. Leshy, Kallamar and Shamura’s colour schemes match with their crowns. Heket’s colours are interestingly, mostly red with a hint of yellow (my read on this is implied parallels between her and Narinder.) Narinder’s main colour also isn’t red, he’s more closely associated with white, his domain and clothes being that colour and his black fur making him stand out as a black sheep of the family.

Red seems to have a dual meaning, associated with death and ambition, white almost reads as selfish and black is the old faith/ neutral. That’s why the lamb has more red in their colour scheme than Narinder does, they’re more morally aligned to death than they are to Narinder or themself.

So I altered the colours of both Narinder and Shamura. Made Narinder red so he matched the colour of the crown and made Shamura black so they maintain the black sheep look.

I didn’t draw the other three siblings for now partly cause I couldn’t decide how to shuffle them. I’m a bit more partial to Leshy as pestilence, Heket as chaos and Kallamar as famine.

My thought for characterization is to keep Narinder ambitious and Shamura’s wisdom. The rift in the family caused by Shamura being a bit more stubborn, knowing that they’re smart and not being receptive to any criticism.

I’m not re reading that ramble, if it dosen’t make sense then it’s between me and god.

seeing people making the goat's Narinder a dog makes me think about the other bishops, what species they would in the goat's universe, dunno why I'm talking about this but I propose dragonfly Shamura (from arachnid to insect), turtle Heket (from amphibian to reptile) and scorpion Leshy (from clitellata ((aka the animal class worms are apart of)) to arachnid) to match the whole dog Narinder since felines and canines are different animal classes, don't have any idea for Kallamar tho (I thought he could be an octopus but both octopus and squids are cephalopods)

WRITE A TON OF OUR CULT'S THINGS!

Tonight my fellas, we're talking about our canon events, this list may be actualized in the future when I actually buy the game and play again (bc I was playing with PS Plus and recently got cut out from the family budget, thus leading to cancel it)

- Leshy and Heket firstly didn't got along (still they don't), and while our dear frog girl was in her turn of the bar, a very drunk ass moss worm atarted pressing her buttons. One punch lead to another...

Heket lost and fucking died.

(No worries! She revived right after that by Abel's word)

- Calix (soon to talk about his lore) was one of the cult's healers, the best at his job, he would not hesitate to save someone's life, thus making him get eaten by a recently revived guy...

When Abel took care of the threat and revived this dear cat of the cult, what was his first request?

"Leader, KILL ME. DO IT ON THE NIGHT SO THERE ARE NO WITNESSES."

(Currently, Abel's trying to explain Leshy (his lover) how did he fucking died next day of being revived.)

- Love's in the air they said to Abel, but little they expected that something else would float when a guy implied that his former husband Ramses wasn't being loyal to him.

(Fortunately, the poet was good food.)

- What was the most sudden plot twists of the cult? Kallamar has the trait 'Lustful', but surprisingly, no partners match him. Leshy took the place of the cult's sex worker. So, at night, kissing random people and dragging them into more sin, at day, hitting the kitchen to bake delicious food

(Abel wants him to burn one of these days...)

- When Cayn firstly met Shamura, they were slightly creeped oht, but the former bishop fell deeply in love. Little the spider expected, that the new goat had already a lover. In a meticulous plan, they trashed the lover and made their way to them. After marrying successfully and developing feelings, they confessed that... And surprisingly, they weren't freaked out.

Joseph, the wandering trader

-Child of a union between a goat and a sheep, a family of nomads with nowhere to go but the beyond;

-when the sacrificial ages started, his father was taken from him, and his mother begged for him to be spared, but it was no use;

-they were taken as prisoners and worked for endless hours, Joseph would mostly be at the farm, learning soon how to differentiate one from the other fungi, and making sure the spores of the poisonous mushroom don't get near them, soon, he became head farmer;

-his mom succumbed in her sleep, natural causes is what the healers told him at 17 years old, but he swore he saw a bottle of poison in her hand when he found her in her bed;

-while studying demonic circles, Joseph was called upon by Heket herself, who turned him into one of her demonic cultists, becoming a Lockbox;

-Later on, he meets the love of his life, Maahdaleen, who bested him in combat, but after having such a formidable match, Maahdaleen spares him, he thinks it was out of pity, and still does, but that never mattered, for she stole his heart;

-Joseph and Maahdaleen weren't formally married, but he managed to get her a ring as soon as he was out of the cult of Heket;

-and 3 years later, at 33 years old, Lambriel was born;

-Meehlinda, Maahdaleen's mom wasn't so keen on having a "half-blood" as a son-in-law, but Maahdaleen was never one for arranged marriages, so she took what she could, and tolerated Joseph;

-Joseph did the same as his parents, and traveled, selling seeds in exchange for materials, which he would sell in various cults;

-The last time he saw Lambriel was on his 6th birthday, after that, 3 months later…the village was destroyed, and his wife had a grave but there was no sign of his child, he assumed that he was taken as a sacrifice;

-they meet again when Lambriel is an adult, and their reunion was one full of tears.
