Healing spells

There are a variety of healing spells to choose from. One of my favourites is to combine the power of crystals & light healing with candle magick. I have had great success mixing these two methods in the past & it works well for me. If it isn’t broken, don’t fix it.

As you can see from the images, I like to use a crystal grid that focuses on the candle in the middle. The candle is connected to my client & I focus all the energy from the crystals, oils & herbal allies into it. The candle slowly over two weeks burns down releasing its energy slowly so the client receives a steady flow of energy. This is gentle on the body & doesn’t bombard them during their healing journey. For two weeks I use sound energy to recharge & focus the crystals. To do this I use tuning folks, drumming or song & dance. This helps to keep them strong & the intention clear. Chants are created that are specific to my client that are used along side the charging method I have chosen. If I feel drawn to do so I will also work with spirits or Deities. For this casting I worked with an aspect of the Goddess Hekate that is for healing & placed the casting on her Alter. Happy casting, blessings

There is no better offering or prayer to Hekate than the happiness of celebration with the people we love. Drink, eat and laugh! There is nothing more to do tonight than to be aware of the glorious gift of being alive, and sharing these moments with our loved ones. Toast for your family, for your friends, for your ancestors, and do it from the heart. Drink for those close to you, for those who live far from you, for your human, and non-human family (you know that's not your pet, it’s your little dog/cat baby)

25 December  - The healing of our will, Hekate Paionios

Tonight we keep in mind both the health and well-being of our loved ones and ourselves. I know this idea of excess and consumerism has been instilled in us. But we have to remember that discipline is part of the healing process where we can take control of our habits without being carried away by "traditions" devoid of value or benefit.Let's be honest about our health while preparing an infusion of medicinal herbs (the ones you like the most). Or even a pleasant green tea, as an offering and recognition to Eir. Which is given for all those traditional and homemade remedies that are being forgotten under the overwhelming empire of processed medicines. In this case, consume the offering visualising the soothing effect within us.

Today's focus is Diana. 🌿 Diana Nemorensis has three faces, the faces of Diana, Luna and Hekate, queen of the land sky and sea. ⛰️🌙🌅 I work with all three of their legends because of this, as well as the PIE legends that were woven into their past. For more info on that, check the bottom of the post! ✨❤️ For this reason, I always keep moon and key symbology close to her on my altar, as well as occasionally arrows and bees. 🐝🌕🏹🗝️ (Some of the bees and arrows are Apollo's though, as he was also associated with both) It's also a reason why sometimes my worship looks different to Hellenists for example- my coven's worship is more rooted in the animistic worship of earlier Gods. It all comes back down to the roots of our experiences. 🙏🏻🌿✨ One of Hekate's epithets is 'Who works from afar' and that's certainly how we often come to meet her. In my traditiom she is often introduced officially by her consort. ✨ While he stands within the crossroads, she stands on the paths of the crossroads- so he takes us to meet with her. One of Hekate's other epithets is 'who waits by the gate' - she stands at the gates of the crossroads. 🗝️ (PIE legends have the repeating pattern of twins born out of Chaos- King and Queen of the Fae, and you can see this pattern imprinting in some of the earlier polytheistic Gods as humanity moved into the later animism/early polytheism era. Hekate Alter

I recently ordered this hand carved item for my Hekate Shrine. My Alter is going through a bit of a transformation process from smaller individual Alters to a larger working Alter. The change was encouraged by Hekate & she has given me plenty of visions for what it is going to look like. This is a special Item I have made in honour of this change, to thank Hekate for all her guidance & support. It’s a beautiful carved wooden Alter piece that can be hung on the wall or stood on a table. It’s Greek themed & a unique one of a kind item. I love how one side turned out darker & the other lighter. It makes me think about the due aspects of Hekate that I can work with. Blessings

Entering Hekate’s Cave Book Review

Completing this book was a journey of honesty & shadow work. This book takes you into Hekate’s cave, where you will encounter various epithet’s of Hekate in order to face some harsh truths about yourself. This tackles subjects such as trauma, abuse, neglect, repeating toxic patterns & cycles, self sabotaging behaviours & addiction. All of which come in various forms. Working through each of these issues brings you out of the darkness & into the light. Healing these wounds & scars so you become whole again.
