Thank you for the roadblocks of my life because of this i was not perfect. Thank you because you redirected my life to something better because you know I deserve better. Thank you because I doubted you in my mind and heart - what you truly planned for me but I am trusting you fully. Thank you for the relationships that never worked out because then I wouldn’t know what being strong meant. And I finally understood why those doors never opened no matter how hard I knocked. Thank you because my determination to be a nurse never faltered. No matter how many times i was knocked over - you helped me get back up. Thank you because you made me stronger than I was before. Thank you because as I look back now, you were always there even when I didn’t have anyone. Thank you for loving me unconditionally. Thank you for the rocks and the wall because it gave me courage to conquer any obstacle that came my way. Thank you for the emotion of envy and jealousy because it lead me to be more humble. To appreciate more than what I have and what I don’t have. Thank you for the gift of life and to be able to breathe and live another day. Thank you for the guidance and support no matter how many times I doubted you - you never left. Thank you because of you - i am who I am today.

As I lay my head down, at night, I whisper a short prayer of thanks. I look back on my day and see God’s hand in everything. All of my opportunities are from Him.
