Surprise‼️ This is so much fun! This was my first time growing this very rare Petmecky Indian flour corn from @victoryseeds The story is that it was given to the Petmecky family from the Comanche, and they grew it for many years. Opening the ears is a lot of fun, because there are different colors in each one. Like opening little surprises 😃 They are all so beautiful!!! Will most likely save a lot of this harvest for seed, but also looking forward to trying this as popcorn and corn flour! Until then, I'll enjoy its beauty 🌽 I so appreciate the seed companies saving these wonderful heirloom varieties that are fun, beautiful, delicious and so important for us to carry on. God is good, so over the top abundant and creative!! So much variety in his creation, and we get to care for it and enjoy it. It’s the first bean harvest of the season!
