Woody doesn’t really use pet names, except during those quiet, sleepy, tender moments (especially with an extra Southern twang eg. “darlin’”); Buzz keeps a calm face when this happens, but is internally squealing

sometimes a button is accidentally rolled on or pressed and Woody is rudely awoken by wings smacking into him—doubly annoying that Buzz usually sleeps through this

stuffed toys require more sleep and battery-driven/otherwise-powered toys require less; occasionally Woody will nap with his head in Buzz’s lap during the day

this also makes Buzz more prone to insomnia, which since he needs less sleep is really just annoying because there’s not much he can do when everyone else is asleep

but admiring Woody’s peaceful sleeping face in the glow of his own suit is a good way to pass that time

one time Buzz awoke from a nightmare he can’t recall on his feet doing a karate pose and Woody will never let him live it down

Woody shifts a lot in sleep, so it’s a good thing Buzz is heavier plastic to act as his anchor

Short Remus and tall Logan are so important to me. Remus grabbing Logan’s collar and yanking him down for a kiss. Remus making Logan sit down while he paces around, rambling about whatever he’s interested in that particular week, so that he doesn’t have to keep looking up at Logan. Logan watching him march around the room with an affectionate smile. Logan putting things on top of the fridge or in high cabinets not to keep them away from Remus but because they have a little game of how creatively Remus can get it down. One time a trebuchet was involved.

I'm so fucking confused by the casting for Wuthering Heights. Elordi doesn't have the heft for the part, maybe Linton but never Heathcliff! Also, they say Shazar Latif is playing Linton! As Bronte very definitely described Heathcliff as a POC. i find it weird they've cast an Asian guy as the bland and safe English character and Whitey Mc White face as Heathcliff. Could the casting details be wrong? So much of Heathcliff's characterisation stems from how he's treated due to his looks!

No clue either, like no tea no shade but nothing I've seen from JE gives me the impression that he has the gravitas to act in a romantic drama against Margot Robbie, he could definitely surprise me but I feel like Emerald likes him as a person and he's an easy sell to any studio at the moment, so they wanted him to play the romantic lead.

Prompt: Write about cuddling and someone being the little spoon for the first time.

Summary: Logan agreed to try something new with Janus, but is still a bit hesitant about it…

Janus entered the bedroom, expecting his boyfriend to already be in bed. Instead, Logan was sitting on the bed’s edge, nervously twiddling his thumbs. Janus sighed, concerned.

“Darling, I don’t want to invalidate your feelings, but I just can’t understand why you worry about this so much.” He took a seat next to Logan and carefully took one of his hands in his.

“I do not know either why the thought distresses me,” Logan mumbled. “It simply seems unnatural for me to try, I suppose.”

“Because of your height?”

“I am almost a foot taller than you, Janus. How is that supposed to work?”

“Logan, dear, we’re talking cuddling here, not rocket science. Just because you’re taller doesn’t mean I can’t fit my arms around you. Actually, I’d prefer if I couldn’t, you are worryingly thin.”

“As you have told me before.”

“Indeed. But that’s not the point. The point is that you can be the little spoon even if you’re taller than me. I can’t wrap myself around you the same way you can with me, but I can hold you still.”

“I simply… don’t understand how.” With a sympathetic smile, Janus pat Logan’s hand one more time before standing up and moving in front of his boyfriend.

“I don’t think trying to explain it will help, my darling. We’ve tried that already. Just lie down and let me show you.”

“Alright.” Logan’s answer was still a bit reluctant but he followed Janus’ instruction and slipped under the covers, his back turned toward his boyfriend.

“Good. Now take a deep breath and relax a bit,” Janus murmured soothingly and again, Logan followed his words. He took three deep breaths, and with every single one, his shoulders lost some tension before he looked like he might actually be asleep.

“Keep that up, honey. I’m going to join you now.”

Carefully, Janus slipped behind Logan, making all his movement deliberate and easy for his boyfriend to follow even without looking at him. He settled behind Logan, his face at the height of Logan’s neck before slipping his arm around his waist. Janus slowly pressed closer, tightened his grip a bit and buried his face in Logan’s neck, sighing in content when he found a comfortable position.

In his arms, Logan had gone a bit stiff again but Janus didn’t probe him with questions. He waited patiently for his boyfriend to either relax or tell him to move. It took a few long minutes but eventually, the former won out.

“This is… nice,” Logan admitted quietly. “I feel safe in a way I did not know I was not before.”

Janus pressed a kiss to his neck with a smile.

“I’m glad to hear that, sweetie. We can do this for as long as you like.”

“Thank you, Janus. For persuading me to try this.” Logan’s voice was quiet but in the silence of their bedroom, Janus could still hear him clearly. He squeezed his waist in response.

“You’re very welcome, darling. Now get some sleep.”

It was interesting to see the colored versions next to each other. I found the size differences to be funny, especially with the tallest one (Crimson) being in the same picture with the shortest one (Miriam).
