“Hello. It’s good to see you in high spirits for Family Day.” Silver greeted you with a small smile. “If you’re interested in meeting my father, he’s socializing with some of the other parents."

Silver turned his head, and you followed his line of sight to a small group of adults. You couldn’t immediately tell who was the right man—there was no cap of telling silver hair to tip you off. That’s right, Silver said he was adopted. They wouldn’t look alike.

“Which one is your…” You looked back at the second year—and startled.

A man had suddenly appeared beside Silver.

He took one look at the surprise in your expression and gave an impish grin. "You called for me, and so I have appeared."

His voice, you noticed, was as deep as the darkest night, or an abyss without an end. But it was far from empty—there were unsaid secrets and wisdom threaded in the way he spoke, a sacred and sagely quality to his words.

“You’re…”

"Father." Silver lowered his head in a polite bow. "This is my friend."

"Is that so? Hello, hello! Such a pleasure to meet one of Silver's bosom buddies. Thank you so much for looking after my boy.”

“Oh, it’s no problem at all! Silver’s a great guy, he’s very easy to get along with.”

You took a step back and slowly scanned the smooth-talking stranger up and down.

He was a shocking short fellow, with black hair swept into a high ponytail that cascaded past his back. From his deep voice, you’d had anticipated someone more intimidating—hadn’t Silver mentioned his father being a general?—but he moved and spoke with all the care of a gust of wind, liberated from the stuffy suit he wore. The jacket casually laid on his shoulders, too, seemed to come to life and dance with him, relishing the beautiful day.

And his face was…

You rubbed your eyes and looked again, squinting this time.

Something was odd about his face.

You had always known Silver for his strangely iridescent eyes. They shifted color in different lighting, sometimes more pink or blue or purple depending on the time of day. But his father’s features were all jumbled.

Whenever you thought you had something pinned down—the hawkishness of his nose, the shape of his mouth, the color of his eyes—they seemed to change every so slightly. Suddenly the nose was rounder, or his cupid’s bow had sharpened, or his irises had gone from gold to violet to green. Everything seemed blurred, as though you were gazing at him through a heavy veil of fog.

What’s going on here…? Am I not fully awake?

Silver’s dad chuckled lightly. “My, is something the matter? You’re staring at me so intensely.”

"Er, have we met before... sir?" you asked, hesitant. For a moment, you thought you caught Silver's face paling and tensing. "You seem familiar somehow, but I can't put my finger on why."

"No I’m afraid this is our first encounter," Silver's dad said, his every word coated with mirth, "but perhaps some of my charm has rubbed off on my son here. As they say, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree!"

He dug an elbow into Silver’s side. The knight sighed—but from the twinkle in his crooked half-smile, you could tell it was done in fondness.

“Never mind, must just be me then.” You automatically stuck out your hand. “Anyway, it’s nice to meet you, Mister…?”

This is it!! Hope swelled in your chest. The moment of truth…! I’ll finally know what Silver’s last name is!!

The ponytailed man happily clapped a hand into yours, giving a firm shake. When he smiled, his teeth came into view—the shapes of them inconsistent, just like the rest of his face.

"You can call me Mr. Silver,” he crooned.

“Oh, sure thing—” Your hand went limp as realization suddenly sunk in. "Wait… so that means your son’s full name is…”

Silver Silver?!

“That’s… right,” Silver said carefully. He cast his father a weary look. “Yes. I was named for my hair color, which happens to be the same as my surname.”

“Gosh, no wonder why you never use your last name then!” you cried. “It’s a weird conversation starter to introduce yourself with the same thing twice!”

“Admittedly, I’ve never been too good with naming!” Mr. Silver confessed. He let your hand drop, and straightened his lapels. “But I’m a firm believer that it’s the content of one’s character which determines their worth, rather than the titles they hold.

“Kufufu. I do hope that you and Silver can continue your studies together and become adults of wonderful character someday.”

Forgive me for what I'm going to say, but from the ideas you have, I think I want to read the AU where they have 10 children. I was very interested, I think it's more curiosity than anything how you would develop their relationship. And I also believe your idea where Fisk kills Matt and tries to revive him, I think it's a good idea.

Really? (°⩌°) I would have thought people would be least interested in the 10-kid one. Hahaha. It was just a silly thought I had with a friend awhile back. While I do have a "day in the life of" oneshot fic with some bits and pieces written, I can slake your curiosity a little below the read more. Just any loose ideas that have floated through my head.

And yes! Thanks. The fic where Matt dies is one of my favs in the works. (I've made art for it and everything.) I would go ahead and publish the first five chapters I do have, but I'd hate to make people wait for the rest. Because I'm not sure when I'll finish it. I'm trying to focus on my other multi-chapter fic right now.

Loose ideas for 10-kid AU:

My whole premise is: What if Fisk (only child) and Matt (only child, if we ignore Mike) had a child of their own? What if they (neither of whom had any friends until their late teens) agreed that childhood without siblings was lonely? What if they agreed to have more than one child? What if Matt made good on the Catholic "multiplying like bunnies" stereotype? What if Fisk's money provided for as many kids as they want? What if they had ten kids? 😂🙏

I'm more than willing to be super obvious and have the genders be an even 5/5 split.

I have a note where I keep a rough kind of idea of the timeline in case I forget. (Second number is their age when last baby born.) While I do have name ideas, the only ones I'm really married to are that Matt names a boy after his dad, Fisk names a girl after his mom (nickname from the younger children who mispronounced it), and the twins.

All of the drama of how Fisk and Matt got together and agreed to raise a child together is in the first girl. And during the pregnancy and first year or so, things remained very bumpy between Fisk and Matt. I fully believe any relationship between them would have ups and downs until they find what works. But they got there and loved their daughter, loved each other, and thought a second child wasn't such a bad idea.

The twins (maybe my favorites) have the Devil in them. 😈😈

They live in a 5-bedroom penthouse. The four kid rooms are: two oldest girls, two oldest boys, three youngest girls, and three youngest boys.

Not canon to the story but... could be canon? If I lean into the crack just a little? Wesley interviewed nannies for a long while, but with all his enemies and paranoia, Fisk could never trust leaving his children with them. Somehow, they decided it had to be someone Fisk trusted above all others but who still had a decent knack with children. And thus Wesley is nanny. 😅 I don't think anyone else could keep everything so organized and efficient tbh. 🤣

I don't have too much else to add since it's mostly a fun place to park my thoughts sometimes when I want FiskMatt content that isn't so serious. But then... serious is how I tend to prefer them. Heh. I do have 2k of a oneshot wip, and maybe one day I'll finish that. Just for fun.

this is a new(sorta?) oc i just drew. MR CØF1EE, aka Mr. Coffee. Theres some slight lore to him? Rant but if u dont wanna read just look at cool art :)

Mr. Coffee originally was a lego character i made from scraps i had, a robot from a Lego Movie set, a harry potter hair, and some random legs. Then i kinda got obsessed. I made him cars out of legos, i gave him a little coffee cup, and he soon became the mayor of this town i had as a kid with all of my toys. I was like 8 at the time. He eventually got broken and lost by my little brother (😒😒😒) but i made a NEW ONE out of a random blank orange head, i drew on a face, a yellow construction helmet, some minecraft zombie arms, and random body pieces. I drew the old version, i plan to draw the new version sometime soon :) but im hoping i can make some lore for this little dude, i already have some ideas cooking. Her parents are actually dead. They were murdered. That's why she ended up in G*tham, she literally was out for revenge for about uhhhhhhh. Fuck... I wanna say I killed her parents off when she was 8 and that was her driving force for revenge, which she got, at around her mid 20s I was making it. Sorry, she's still new so a lot of her story is still being made! But modern-day Sophie is in her late 30s and she's got her revenge by now. But she loved he parents and misses the time she had with them. Loved learning from them as they were well-accomplished magic users; but a lot of stuff has also been forgotten too, unfortunately. She can't remember how they look or sound anymore :/

OH! Okay, she actually likes to know the drama but wants NO part of it. She will go so far as to just simply stand up and walk out of the whole room, leaving the whole building if she has to. Which actually sucks for her because after she meets and starts working with [Acme truck drives past] she is suddenly part of the Batman Rogue gallery. Sort of. But either way, she likes knowing but that's it. This means she does not start anything. Or at least tries not to, because a lot of the other rogues are super fucking irritating she finds out. Also, they're like roaches they won't die and they just come back, or they act obsessive, just clinical insanity she finds out! But she'll be aight.

I don't think she's misunderstood at all. Or at least she does not play the victim to things she's done or has done, or will do. Also if someone wants to misunderstand her and her intentions then that's on them and she doesn't feel the need to correct people. Unless it's the few that she cares about. Otherwise, she's not like a nasty piece of work or had some great tragedy (at least she doesn't see losing her parents as a great tragedy at this point) befall on her to become misunderstood with how she acts. Aka turning people to stone. But those people deserve it. Most of the time.

Ohhhhhhhh, I mean I could go the easy route and say snakes. Which she does! But not just snakes. She likes history and Mythology a lot, aka the whole Medusa vibe she goes for, or her 'theme' in the city of G*tham. She's actually well-versed in the Greek pantheon as well as actual history. I like to think Maxie Zeus sort of has a crush on her. But snakes, mythology-greek centric, as well as eyes! I don't know how to explain eyes with her. But anything with eyes that are the focus like in art or films or photography she loves! Also when I tag her and the eyes are the main focus I'm like 'That's Sophie.' The petrifying magic, like Medusa, only works if you look into her eyes but she can do other fancy things with her eyes also!

She does not have any allergies known! Or at least severe ones. Something mundane I've thrown in is she takes, you know, Claritin LMAO during Spring. She probably uses a nasal rinse every night before bed.

With her ma and pa it was a good relationship. Healthy in fact! But more leaning into with her father- as her father never got any sons so he picked Galina out of the three that makeup her and her sisters. So she was raised in business, finances, and hunting! While her sisters spent a lot of time with their mom. But Galina was more than happy to be with her father most of the time since she found it more interesting. She likes to learn first and foremost and he did a good job building her up to be confident in her skills when she gets older.

Now non-biological parental figures I can't say... Anyone really. Instead, I'd have to go back to biological parental figures because after her parents pass it's what she learns from her two sisters is what turns her into a little terror. That's when she learns how to finesse, how to talk to other nobility, and how to play mind games. All those things she learns from Marya and Zoya, her two older sisters, WHO learned from their mother. So it trickled back down to her in the end.

Just so she shows up and ruins everything is so fucking good. And she'll be sooooo happy about it also. So loves the drama and lives for it.

🍅 [TOMATO] How misunderstood is your OC? In-universe or IRL.

This one was hard because I can see in Dunwall she'd be misunderstood as just another terrible noble. But a fallen one, so it's like 'ew' since nobility in Tyvia is like [russian revolution, goodbye romanovs] and that just reeks this person has problems and not just personal ones. But she's not the type to let it get to her, she has good armor and also money ayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. So she could play the misunderstood card or be that terrible noble or barbaric foreigner if she wanted to. But she just doesn't find it fun or entertaining so I don't think she's really misunderstood or at least she doesn't see herself as it.

🥂 [GLASS CHEERS] What is your OC’s 'aesthetic?’

At her base: books, scrolls, art, hunting- any sort of activity that will work her brain that's outside the realm of social interactions. She likes to read and learn and talk about philosophy or gray morality subjects. But it's hard to get there with her. Instead on the outside it's fashion, gossip, theater, or ballet- Anything that looks expensive but finely crafted. She adores shoes and gloves and has a lot of matching pairs of them.

🍞 [BREAD] Does your OC have any allergies? How severe are they? Do they require equipment to help them?

She's actually sensitive to certain cleaners, so she'll break out in hives if something is laundered incorrectly or with harsh chemicals. As well as fragrances make her light-headed so a lot of perfumes she'll avoid. Which is unfortunate because she knows a lot of good smells but can't stand them very long.
