Capochin really never cared for any other God during his time as Hector and Inspekta's right hand man, what he knows about the other Gods is literally what he's overheard from the Bizzyboys and whatever false rumors he had to spread. It isn't until after Inspekta's fall and the Bizzyboys being disbanded that he actually pays a little attention to the other Gods.

He moves to your town at the recommendation of Godpoke, who assures him that the small town would be perfect for him. The townsfolk are forgiving and the God that resides there holds no ill will against him. He's not 100% sure he believes the Godpoke, even after meeting all the townsfolk who treat him with kindness despite the trouble he's caused.

Capochin never actually planned on meeting you, he really wanted nothing to do with the Gods anymore after Inspekta, but Godpoke practically held a gun to his head (they asked real nicey) to deliver a letter to you.

Capochin, of course, is a fool who develops crushes EXTREMELY easily. He already thought you were attractive based on the images and effigies littering the town, so seeing you in person was... a little embarrassing for him. He ends up stumbling over his words and is blushing the entire time he's trying to hand off the letter to you, trying extremely hard not to notice the expression of amusement on your face.

Whether its unluckily or luckily for him, you took notice of him after his first visit. Upon Godpoke's next delivery to your domain you express your interest Capochin, asking Godpoke to find a way to get him to visit again. Godpoke, ever the match maker, gives you a thumbs up and what could only be described as a devious giggle.

Capo ends up having to deliver a vast majority of your mail in the end because Godpoke gave him sad puppy dog eyes and a "I'm too busy to deliver these please help :("

At first you just find Capochin to be something amusing, the way he blushes and panics, his stumbling over words and the way he avoids eye contact. You'd been a God for quite a while, so you're used to the way humans would treat you, but he was something more fun and interesting. You were aware of the fact he had worked directly under Inspekta, but he also acted like he had never been in the presence of a God in his LIFE and he didn't know what to do.

Over time he gains more confidence speaking to you, managing to make eye contact a few times and lessening the amount of stumbling in his words. You also start to see him less as a passing amusement and more of a friend. His crush on you is still VERY much there, and if anything spending so much time with you has made it worse.

He isn't as sickly devoted to you as he was to Inspekta, you treat him less like a dog and more like he's actually human, but he'd still probably do just about anything you asked of him. Not that you ask Capo for much of anything, really. It makes him feel weird to talk to somebody in such a high position of power over him and them. Not being extremely condescending or asking him to do awful things in their name.

You are highly complimentary of him, though. You notice everything that goes on in your little corner of the Grove, so you see him doing nice things for the other townsfolk in secret. It flusters him to no end when you thank him for gifting the lonely elderly lady flowers, even if he just left them on her doorstep and ran after knocking so she wouldn't know it was him.

You develop your own little crush on him over time, he's a funny and charming guy when he isn't causing trouble for everybody. Though you also don't want him to feel pressured into a relationship with you just because you're a God, so you just keep your little crush a secret.

That's right baby! Idiots in pining again! Godpoke comes back to your town, sees you and Capochin dancing around your feelings, and heaves the sigh only a cowpoke who's played match maker between Gods too many times would sigh.
