Natalia and the great trip to Thessaloniki, Greece.
Enjoying a heatwave in October and sitting around on beaches with copious amounts of cocktails is really good for the soul, making being drunk in the ocean my new hobby

Sooo.... You agree with everything...
... Except you think keeping Democrats in office is how we're supposed to hold them accountable....?
That is not how that works.
If you can admit that pushing them left is futile, why do you think continuing to pay them while they do whatever they want is going to make them be accountable for their actions....?
Sure, once they're out of office they could try to blame Republicans for the handing of billions of dollars in bombs over to Israel.... But uhhhh at this point they've tanked their reputation into fucking hell so the only ones who are going to fall for that are people who only watch NBC news and only glance in the direction of politics in November every four years.
As it has been said, many times and in many ways, it doesn't make a difference to the people being bombed by the USA who is in charge of the US government, because they're getting bombed no matter what color hat, red or blue is in charge.
Keeping Democrats in office to "hold them accountable for their actions" is even more futile than the concept of "pushing them left after electing them to office".
Did you know the President of the USA currently has a Salary of $400,000 per year, with an Expense Account of $50,000 per year?
Did you know the Vice President currently has a Salary of $284,600 with a $50,000 Expense Account?
After Taxes, I currently make around $21.6k per year.
Subtract $13.2k from 21.6k and that's how much I have after year after just Rent.
That leaves me with $8,400.
Now subtract $630 from $8,400 to get the internet and phone bills for the year.
That leaves me with $7,770.
Now subtract $2,300 from $7,770 and I have $5,400.
Subtract ~360 from that for cat food from the year to feed the rescues , that leaves me $5,040. But wait theres more! Subtract ~680 from that $5,040 for cat litter costs , leaving me with $4,360 at the end of the year.
Now.
Subtract $2,171 from $4,360 for the electricity bill, which is 99% central air costs to stay alive during 110+掳 heavewaves all summer.
That leaves me with $2,189 per year. And that's assuming the electricity bill doesn't go up even higher as we continually break heat records.
Now. Divide that $2,189 by 12.
That leaves $182.41 per month in theory for food, (it's often much lower) but also has to be used for other necessities, like vet bills, medication, clothing, toiletries, cleaning supplies, etc.
And this is all based on the assumption my paycheck is on the higher side from working a higher number of hours every two weeks.
Now.... imagine if I was paid as much as the President?
If its just coming from that Expense Account, I'd have an EXTRA $30,000 dollars a year from just taking care of my basic yearly expenses!
With just the President 's Expense Account alone my quality of life would literally more than quadruple.
I'd be able to afford not only rent easily, but would be able to put a down payment down to be able to buy a house and start a mortgage! I'd be able to actually afford to buy real food every month and eat three meals a day, as opposed to
"ramen noodles in the microwave for lunch every day with maybe something more substantial for dinner".
I'd be able to donate directly to Palestine gofundmes instead of simply clicking some buttons for ad revenue.
A $50,000 per year salary is a life-changing amount of money to me, and most Americans.
But that's not even a drop in the fucking bucket.
Because that doesn't even touch the $400,000 budget the President gets on top of that $50,000 account.
Sit down and do your own math, and ask your friends and family.
Whats their yearly income look like, and how much do they actually have after basic maintenance expenses ?
Could any of your friends and family shrug off an emergency $500 medical bill? How about $1,000+ for an Ambulance ride in an emergency, not even counting the costs of what happens when you actually get to the hospital?
Now tell me, why exactly do you think continuing to give Democrats these wages every single year they're in office is going to "hold them accountable" for their actions in office????
If you can admit that "pushing them left" doesn't work at all because they simply don't care..... Why do you think paying them $450,000 a year is going to make them be accountable for their heinous actions?
Would you argue that Hitler should have been kept in power to "hold him accountable for his actions"?
No?
Then why do you think that will somehow work for Democrats who are commiting Genocide, foreign coups, countless proxy wars, militarizing the police with $300,000,000 as they continue to murder people with impunity, all while calling themselves "the good guys holding back Fascism" ??
If you can understand that labor strikes work because it keeps companies from making money until they give in to the demands of the people who make them that money to begin with, then why do you think that telling Democrats with polls and protests and votes that they will never have support again until they shape up is "useless"?
If a company's employees were doing a labor strike, would you be telling them that it was actually in their best interest to keep working for the company instead of striking, because other jobs out there would treat them exactly the same?
Somehow, I don't think you would.
Again, you seem to be under the impression here that demonizing people who do not plan to vote at all is somehow going to cost us our democracy and like....
I don't know how to tell you this, but every single election since people started counting, around 50% of the country doesn't vote at all every single election, and it has never "cost us our democracy".
There will always be people who don't vote.
Either because they can't, because strict voting laws, or they can't get time off work or they don't have transportation, or because they simply can't be bothered.
Has the world ended every four years since 2002? No? Okay, then why do you think screaming at people who don't want to vote is any way forward? 40%-60% of Americans haven't voted in the General Election each cycle since 2002.
It's not going to end the world in 2024 if a few more thousand people become disillusioned with the system and use their right to freedom of expression to choose of their own free will not to vote? Or if its someone who wants to vote, but can't for any reason?
Or do you think it should be a federal law that every citizen is required by law to vote, and face expensive fines if they do not, like in Australia?
People using their free will to choose not to vote, or being unable to cast their vote, is not going to cause the end of the world, and you don't gain anyone's support by demonizing the first group and thus also demonizing the second group.
And again.
Reread the original post. This is about voting third party and threatening Democrats' political power by telling them you're not going to vote for them if they continue the way they have been.
The only ones talking about "not voting at all" is you, to derail the actual post

I am so serious when I say that any one of you that has this mentality:
"I understand that Kamala is also a Zionist and supports the genocide of the Palestinian people, but I'm prioritizing my own rights over their lives and voting for who will make my life easier, and trump will just kill them all faster anyways"
That you need to take the words 'Free Palestine' out of your bio right now. You stand for nothing. You are unwilling to even consider sacrificing your own rights to organize and protest and DEMAND a candidate that doesn't support literal genocide. You are so scared that you can't even pretend to threaten the democrats by withholding your votes, even though it literally just worked when they saw how poorly Biden was was polling.
"well what are we supposed to do?!"
i don't fucking know, man. You know I can't give you an easy answer here.
College students were beaten by police and some expelled and lost their degrees to protest, though. Aaron Bushnell lit himself on fire for a chance at changing anything, though. The people of Yemen, who have everything to lose, are being bombed for being the only people on earth outside of Gaza physically resisting isntreal AND the u.s. with extremely limited resources just because they know its the right thing to do, though.
But god forbid you even try to scare the dnc by threatening to split the vote, though.
