He got a lot of his fashion taste from Doflamingo trying to win him over when he was a kid bc he needed Law to like him if he wanted a shot at getting the immortality operation. think like heyyyyy hows my most favorite special boy here's a present for you :) don't forget this!! you owe me now!! don't forget !!! :)))

I know heartswap is completely happening in Hisui but I just had this random thought about Ingo and Emmet getting heartswapped.

Everyone is praising them how well they imitate the other but they don’t imitate; they’ve been heart-swapped!

I also believe Emmet would take a heartswap the best out of all of them: after the initial freak out he’d probably try and work out what he can do as a Phione and come up with strategies for double battle with him in the middle of it all. This brings liking "winning more than anything else" to a whole new level!

This is exactly why Manaphy is not allowed on the battle subway haha. Can’t let that happen!!

It is fun to think about how Emmet (or trainers in general) would utilize battling as pokemon, though! I’ve had a concept in my head inspired from an episode of Love Death And Robots called Sonnie’s Edge (love the episode but I advise you check out the episode’s content warnings before watching to make sure the themes are manageable), where trainers use technology to sync with their pokemon and ‘pilot’ them in battles. My discord saw a little of this a few months back but maybe someday I’ll talk about it openly on this blog.

So I loved seeing the synchro machine’s appearance in SV! Seeing it labeled in the games as a prototype, I’d love to see if they ever develop that feature more into future games, maybe even narratively as well! (And in-universe, doing double battles like that sounds like it would be very popular and exhilarating, both to do and to watch!)

I'm starting to think of doing RPs again, I'd like to do roleplays that involves my ocs. Those that I haven't used in a while like Cowboy or Rider. Maybe Rainbow and Sunshine. They haven't been used recently but they're in need of being roleplayed with. Like or reblog if you'd like to rp with me and send a note onto the post on who you want to start. okay yes I’ve been ranting about this on all my other platforms but here we go again! sorry if my tone is less than polite.

The heartswap au is, believe it or not, NOT dofflaw content. Doflamingo knew Law when he was 13. And then he died. Good riddance!! Law’s obsession with him is in absolutely no way romantic. Doflamingo was a shitty parental figure who instilled terrible terrible thoughts into Law about the nature of the world and the value of life and shit like that while also trying to appear like a good person that Law owed a debt to. Those ideals are still stuck in Law’s head so his actions are fueled by that twisted sense of responsibility to fulfill Doflamingo’s wishes. Again, not romantic. Law’s relationship with Corazon later??? Also not fucking romantic!! Knew Law at the same age! Now he wants to save Law from his brother’s shitty life lessons! Law wants Corazon to leave him the hell alone and go die!!

I made this AU so I’m. What is it they always say. “Curating my online experience.” leave. I am not interested in your thoughts about the AU and I do not want you interacting with my work.

In your heartswap au, do you think that Law would eventually be told about doffy’s whole immortality plan? And when he does, do you think he would try to redeem himself or just completely breakdown?

Come to think of it, it would kinda destroy him if he learned the truth and believed it. Since he holds dolfamingo on a pedestal. What do you think?

No :( but I’m also not sure if Corazon meets them instead! That’s something I think I’m gonna leave up to like, one’s own personal interpretation. I kinda want to lay down some ground events and setups but mostly just give a space for people (me included) to play around w ideas.

I love your heart swap au because it feels really grounded in the personalities of the characters if that makes sense

its why i made it! put those guys in situations. corazon especially. his blind and even overwhelming trust in people he cares about is so interesting. he knows how terrible of person doffy is, so why on earth would he think he'd be exempt from his brother's rage?? its cuz he refused to believe doffy was completely beyond redemption... hes such an interesting critter

and ofc hes so important to law as well bc without him you get this 13 y/o who has been shunned and loathed by the world for no reason since he was TEN never being told that he can be loved and he should be loved. he never gets the chance to learn that there is kindness in the world and things worth living for. so now we have a child filled with anger and grief who's been handed an immensely strong power and he's going to use it. ofc he's going to lash out he doesn't know any better and desperately craves control and revenge to feel safe again.

doflamingo is a bitch and i hate him and he's also a manipulative bastard who is SO fun to think about. he acts exactly like a cult leader and thinking about those tactics of manipulation is really interesting. law's a dapper little fellow when hes a kid in the au bc doffy would buy him things so law would feel indebted to him!! hes a bitch!!!!!

Does Mingo die an instant death in heartswap? Or is ue still alive for a bit after, like Rocinante was in canon? If the latter…whTd he do. Anything he says or reacts??

yes he stays alive for a little bit! he uses that time to lie to Cora and say Law's long gone somewhere else and that he's surprised he had it in him. He says something to the tune of "I guess that's really how the world is. It doesn't matter; someone will take my place even when I'm dead." heh.... i guess i deserve it.... which is VERY pointed to Law who's listening in & can't move thanks to the parasite string. Basically the whole time Doflamingo is hamming up how Vile and Evil his brother is so Law will be terrified of him & want to avenge Doffy.
