as Aeri shut the door, her demeanor shifts just a bit. she still smiles at Hyunwoo, to her surprise but she feels as if the younger woman is holding something back

“ So, where are you taking me, wife? “ Aeri says as they stand in the elevator, leaning against the wall opposite to the doors

“ We aren’t even married yet.. and we don’t have rings for each other either “ Hyunwoo scratches the back of her head, looking down at her shoes to distract herself from the goddess next to her

“ yeah? maybe we should get some today.. “ Aeri reaches for her arm again and looks at the taller woman’s ring finger

“ left it empty for me huh? “ she giggles, “ how cutee! “ Aeri plays with the rings adoring Hyun’s fingers while rambling about something the taller woman doesn’t understand

How could she pay attention to anything besides her?

the now familiar ‘ding’ of the elevator breaks the trance she’s in, letting the younger woman drag her once again

the pair barely makes it out of the building before Aeri stops in her tracks, she lightly pushes Hyun to a spot infront of a few trees and shrubs

the taller stumbles a bit before gaining her footing and looking around awkwardly

Aeri lets a loud laugh out behind her hand, fishing for her phone to capture the moment

once she see the photo she laughs harder, causing Hyunwoo to snicker a bit

“ what’s so funny ha? “ she leans down so Aeri can hear her better, grinning as the japanese woman shows her phone screen

Hyun grimaces at the weird pose she’s making

“ am i throwing up gang signs or something? “

“ pfft- you could not be a gangster! “ the shorter woman slaps Hyun’s shoulder repeatedly, making the latter grab the hand that was hitting her and trapped it with her own

“ hey that hurts . . . “ Hyunwoo says pouting at the woman. Aeri cringes at this and laughs again

“ ugh ewww, just go back to posing and looking charming ! “ she pushes the woman towards her original spot

“ you think i’m charming? “

“ maybe, now shut up! “

“ ok! lets go, you look decent enough.. “ Aeri grabs Hyunwoo’s hand again, looking up at her

“ where’d you park? “

“ right there… “ Hyun points behind the younger woman, where she sees 1990 honda nsx

“ well aren’t you a show off “ she smirks, twirling a strand of Hyunwoo’s hair between her fingers, making the older woman hunch over close to her face

“ jus wanna treat my wife right “ Hyun smirks back at hair, placing her hands on Aeri’s waist and pulling her closer

“ cmon princess, lets get you your ring “ Even Cheong Hyunwoo herself didn’t know where that confidence came from, but it made Aeri stammer a bit

“ oh fuck- “ she quietly says under her breath

Hyun guides the woman to her car, opening the door for her and everything

Sitting in the driver’s seat, she looks over to the woman

“ you gonna be a passenger princess or tell me where you wanna go? “ Hyun hands Aeri her phone

“ that should be obvious to you, Hyun “ She pushes the phone back towards the woman

Hyunwoo just nods and starts looking through her playlist, her phone already connected to the aux. the song ‘Me and You’ by Brenton Wood plays loudly through the speakers, starting their drive

Aeri looks over to Hyun, watching her sing along with the man

‘cute’

She doesn’t even realize she reached her hand out to caress the side of the older woman’s face

Hyun just laughs softly at the contact, taking Aeri’s hand and using it as a makeshift microphone

once Aeri realizes that Hyunwoo let go of the gear shifter, she slaps the girl lightly

“ yah! drive properly! “ she scolds

Hyun’s laughter shakes throughout her body, placing her hand back on the stick shift

“ i’m driving properly, don’t worry princess.. sorry that i can’t hold your thigh while i drive “ she said it jokingly, but Aeri couldn’t stop the feeling of excitement bubbling inside of her

“ bring an automatic car next time… “

“ already want a next time? geez, we barely left your company “

“ mhm, better get used to me if we’re gonna be married ! “

the car ride is quick as Hyun swerves into the parking space , forgetting Aeri was even in the car and being surprised by her yelp

Hyunwoo gets out the car and goes over to the passenger door, opening it for the girl and offering her hand

“ we’re here “ she said with a grin

Aeri intertwines their fingers and lets the taller woman guide her to their destination. they stop infront of a small jewelry shop. Hyun opens the door for her, taking in the sight of all the rings behind the glass

“ Welcome!- oh! Hello Hyunnie, how have you been? “

the latter smiles at the elderly lady, waving with her free hand

“ hi halmeoni, i’ve been good, just a bit busy yknow? are you doing fine? “

the pair walk closer to the elder, bowing slightly

“ i’m still breathing! “ the lady jokes, “ who’s this beauty you’ve brought? “ directing her attention to Aeri, her eyes soften

“ oh is this your girlfriend, hon? how wonderful! you’re so beautiful dear! “ her aged face shows joy for the couple, clasping her hands together. “ i hope this knucklehead to treating you right! “

Aeri laughs, leaning against Hyunwoo’s bicep, “ she treats me wonderfully, ma’am “

Hyun’s heartbeat quickens, trying to hide the blush on her face, " ahem. halmeoni, do you have any... engagement rings ? "

a few seconds of silence fill the air, before the lady gasps and rushes to the back of store, returning with a box

" i just knew these would come in handy! " the elder beckons the couple closer and slowly opens the velvet box to reveal two silver rings, one adoring a pink marquise shaped 3 carat diamond, and the other with a princess shaped diamond ( i did i randomizer for tbjs dont beat me ip... )

" how do you like them? " she smiles at them, looking between the two

Hyun looks down at Aeri, seeing her starstruck face. She reaches into her pocket for her walet and hands the lady her card

" I think she likes it, its perfect " Hyun softly laughs, pulling the japanese woman closer by her waist

the jewelry shop owner pushes Hyunwoo's hand away, shaking her head " take them, i made them for you! " the couple both gave her money anyway.

with the purchase of the rings complete, they start walking toward the car, Hyun trailing behind Aeri

The taller woman takes her phone out and takes a few photos

'gorgeous' she thought

once Hyun caught up to Aeri, she noticed the way the japanese woman shivered under the night's cool air, she takes off her denim button up and wrapped it around Aeri. the woman looks at her, smiling softly " thank you " she whispers, which led to Hyunwoo's arm draped over her shoulder

Hyun opened Aeri's door for her again, then plopped back behind the wheel. as she pulled out from the parking lot, she felt something on her shoulder and arm.

the woman looked down and saw Aeri clinging onto her, " so, girlfriend huh? i like it.. but princess is better " her voice smooth and sultry, making Hyun gulp

" i'll keep that in mind... " there's a short silence between the pair before Aeri breaks it

" Hyun? "

" hm " the named woman raised her eyebrows, waiting for her to continue

" what's your english name? "

" Hayden Callum Cheong, why? "

" nothing, just wanted to know.. it's cute " Aeri grins, cuddling into the woman's side

'Baby Love' by The Supremes plays as they cruise towards the aespa dorms

" do you play motown for all the girls you drive around? " Aeri raises an eyebrow

" only for you, don't worry " satisfied with her answer, she lets herself enjoy the moment, which is cut short since they already arrived.

the car stops infront of the building's entrance, neither make a move to leave

" so.. guess this is goodbye? " Hyun says, resting her head on the girl's

" mhm, you'll see me tomorrow though.. " the japanese woman looks up at her, a small smile on her face

" i'll miss you " hyun nearly slaps herself for sounding so desperate

" yeah? well aren't you a cutie " aeri brings her hand to the woman's face, her thumb softly brushing against hyun's chin. hyunwoo places her hand on the small of aeri's back, the other resting on her waist

" maybe if you have this, you won't miss me as much " before she could process those words, aeri shortens the distance between the two, their lips nearly meeting

Hyun furrows her eyebrows, looking back at the japanese woman

" gotcha " aeri giggles, making the older groan

" aww don't be upset, here " she presses a soft kiss on hyun's forehead and one on the corner of her lips, staying there for a few seconds

" maybe on our next date you'll get the real thing. . . " she winks at the woman, and goes to open her door,

" see you later, cally " aeri blows hyun a kiss, then turns on her heel and disappears into the building

hyunwoo stayed there with a flushed face with only one thought running through her mind,

' this girl is gonna be the death of me.'

“ look like what babe? ” a smooth, low voice made the woman snap back to reality

Hyunwoo closes out of twitter and goes back to the facetime call she was on

“ hi somi ” The older waved at the screen with a smile

“ hi hyun, so what were you talkin about earlier? ”

“ jen just said i look like a samoyed .. didn’t realize that til she pointed it out!” Hyun replied, flashing a toothy grin, before she started styling her hair

the blonde’s eyes soften, saying something the mic didnt quite pick up, only getting the first few letters of the word ‘stu…’ . which made the woman look back with a raised eyebrow

“ did you jus call me stupid? “ she said while getting closer to the camera

“ uh huh “ Somi said while grinning

“ wow… it hurts to see my wife badmouth me right to my face! ” Hyunwoo dramatically fell back into her chair, with a hand on her forehead and clutching her nonexistent pearls

“ pfft- im not even your wife anymore, you have aeri now “ the blonde woman looked away pretending to be hurt

“ oh yeah guess your right- WAIT SHIT ”

“ what?? “

“ IM LATE BRO SHES GONNA KILL ME! “ The woman ran out of frame, coming back with a jean button up and a white undershirt. throwing then on and stumbled back to her seat

Hyunwoo started messily styling her hair, put her glasses on, and checked herself on her screen

Somi watched all of this happen, dumbfounded

“ babe? “ she called out to the woman

“ mm? “ half of her face wasn’t even in the frame, but she could tell the girl was rushing a bit

“ what time did you say you had to pick aeri up?“

“ 7 pm.. why? “ hyun paused to look back at the blonde

Somi looked at the clock and looked back at the woman “ Cheong Hyunwoo. its only 4:30. “

“ oh. “ Hyunwoo put her hair clay down, grabbed her phone, and leaned back into the chair

looking back at the blonde with a grin, she said “ wanna know how our first conversation went? “

'oh.. haha.. hi oppa!' you all gathered downstairs after Yunjin had answered the door. Hyunwoo sat on the couch with Eunchae and Kazuha following close behind, plopping down on either side of the woman. Sakura and Chaewon stood closeby

'hello.' your manager was a man of few words, only talking when necessary, but he's cool. After taking off his shoes, he entered the dorm once Yunjin had opened the door wider. She followed him to where the rest of Lesserafim was, waiting for him to say something. He cleared his throat before speaking

'Have you heard of the show, We Got Married?'

you all gulped,

oh shit

'oh- of course! who hasn't? ha.. ha.. ha..?' chaewon said awkwardly, trying to disrupt the silence

He nodded, crossing his arms and spoke with a stern tone

'good, you must select one of your members to be part of the show.'

'minus eunchae of course' he added

silence once again engulfed the room, the members of lesserafim kept glancing at each other, not knowing where to start

'i vote for Hyun oppa!' Eunchae exclaimed with her hand raised

'Hyun unnie...' Sakura corrected the younger quietly

Hyunwoo looked at her maknae with scrunched eyebrows, only to be met with the girl looking back at her cutely

'she might get to make new friends!' she giggled

The older woman scoffed at her, playfully nudging her 'oh yeah? you sure you're not jus tryna sell me to some idol?'

'maybe..!' Eunchae winked

' i also think Hyun should do it! ' Yunjin said loudly, making Chaewon cover her ears

'Ugh. can you be quiet for one minute? damn..' which resulted in Yunjin playfully yelling at the girl quietly

Their manager nodded once more, looking at the Japanese members, awaiting their response

Sakura and Kazuha looked at each other and as if speaking through their eyes, had agreed to picking Hyunwoo as the shows new victim. The man nodded once more and looked to the short haired woman

'Hyunwoo. Do you want to be part of the show?'

Hyunwoo tapped her chin, pretending to be in deep thought

'eh, i guess so' she grinned

with a simple 'hm' the man started walking to the door and exited the dorm

'you guys think my future wife will be hot?' hyun joked, putting her hands behind her hand and leaned back onto the couch

'bitch shut up!'
